OOC: Sorry this isn't better or longer. I've had terrible internet access all week and it's still not the greatest but I wanted to get something up.
The Shoot
This week, I find myself in an oddly fashioned Strange Bedfellows match. What is APW Management thinking? I'm teamed up with a couple people who hold no relevance to me what so ever. Anthony Washington and Robina Hood. Two people that I not only have no idea who they are, but two people who haven't apparently done much around APW. Two people who must not have a care of making much of an impact.
From what I understand about Robina, she has the talent, but lacks the drive to get the job done. Her drive isn't exactly the best judging from her recent matches. If I want to win this match, it sounds like I'm going to have to kick it into Overdrive.
Anthony Washington? What exactly have you done lately? I haven't even seen you on Overdrive lately. Now I'm stuck in a match with your first Overdrive in God knows how long? This is going to be an interesting week indeed as I am going to be carrying my team this week. Who are our opponents? None other than Amy Zing, Niobe Martin and my fellow brother and stable mate, Jace Savage.
I'm going to have my hands full with my opponents. I've already faced Niobe Martin and beaten her. Amy Zing, however, I have not had the pleasure of facing. Then there's my NewGen Rises stable mate and friend, Jace Savage. We have not had a one on one match ever but we have faced each other before. It will be honor to face off against him again.
Jace and I may be friends and fellow brothers, but we still respect each other well enough to face off against each other. That's the beauty about the NewGen. We are always behind the other. We are always pushing each other to be the very best that we can be. We don't want to down look the other. NewGen believes in equal opportunity for each other. If you think about it, this match is a win win for NewGen.
Jace wins or I win. There is no loss that comes out of this match. It's that simple.
Come time for Overdrive, though, I will kick it into high gear even if I'm facing my fellow brother and stablemate. We strive to push the other so we still will be giving it our all. Regardless of who wins, NewGen wins either way. Then after this strange waste of time bedfellows match, Jace and I can really get down to business and what really matters. Taking on other teams and building ourselves for a shot at the APW tag team championships.
(OOC: Again, I greatly apologize for the lack of rp this week. I am hoping that my access is back up and running strong soon. Wanted to get something up regardless so that at least I have something posted. Good luck to everyone involved.)
