The crowd rises to their feet in ovation before Nicky Paige can even finish.
Paige: ...Elimination TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABLES MAAAAAAAATCH! In order to eliminate an opponent, you must forcefully drive them through a table! Once someone is eliminated, they are barred from ringside! Introducing first...
“Indestructible” plays as The NewGen Rising makes their way from the back. Ron Rufio, Brian Hollywood, and Jace Savage walk out onto the stage. The crowd cheers as they make their way to the ring. Each member goes to a different set of stairs, located at each corner of the ring. All three members walk up the stairs at the same time, They wipe their feet on the ring apron and climb in between the ropes. Rufio and Hollywood go to opposite corners on the same side of the ring, Jace stands on the middle rope in between them. The fans cheers more as they raise their arms, and play it up for the crowd.
Paige: They are the team of Jace Savage and Brian Hollywood... NewGen Rising!
Harvey: These guys are ready to go! Savage and Hollywood have had their problems with the Black Hand, specifically Madison and Martin over these past couple of weeks, and tonight, they all get a chance to settle that!
Paige: And their tag team partner...
Multi-colored lights dance all across the arena as the opening riffs of "Helter Skelter" blast through the PA system. Evan bursts through the curtains, dressed in a white jacket with the name "ENVI" emblazoned across the back in blood-red, shimmering cursive. He looks out into the roaring legions of fans with a smirk on his face as he removes his jacket, tossing it toward a rowdy bunch of loyalists sitting at ramp-side.
Paige: Hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, he is the Overdrive Cha--
Evan Envi is struck from behind by Tommy Knox! The crowd boos and Nicky Paige exits the ring in a hurry as Savage and Hollywood bolt out to ringside and rush up the ramp to intercept Niobe Martin and Chris Madison, who have come to join Knox in stomping the grounded Evan Envi!
Harvey: Knox, with that stolen Overdrive Title belt, and his cronies have come out here to get the jump on NewGen Rising and Evan Envi in this Tables’ Match!
Chase: Oh, please! They’re just taking the initiative!
Harvey: Well, here’s a ref! Things are getting started right now!
Chase: No! That is CRAP!
Harvey: But it’s in the record books!
Chase: Jace Savage just SCREWED Chris Madison and the Black Hand!
Harvey: Jace Savage did what Jace Savage wanted to do!
Chase: NewGen Rising is gonna get dealt with once and for all, just like Evan Envi and Jenny Knite are gonna finally get dealt with!
Envi picks up the Overdrive Championship and climbs into the ring, helping Jenny Knite to her feet. He raises her hand in the air, earning another pop from the crowd. Envi begins to guide Jenny toward the ropes, but--
Duvall: CUT THE MUSIC! THIS IS NOT HOW WE’RE ENDING THIS! NO!
The crowd boos loudly as Alexander Duvall marches up the steel steps and climbs into the ring. He snatches the Overdrive Championship from Envi’s hands and shakes his head.
Duvall: You don’t GET to LEAVE with my championship again! You’ll lose at Shockwave, and when you do, the EVAN ENVI BAN is effective! You won’t be seen anywhere near anything sponsored by APW... You won’t be mentioned. Your merchandise will cease to exist. You’ll be erased from all continuity. EVAN ENVI WILL HAVE NEVER EXISTED IN ACTION PACKED WRESTLING!
Duvall rolls his eyes at the crowd as another ”YOU SUCK!” chant develops.
Duvall: And until then, I’m holding onto your Lady Overdrive. She belongs with me.
Duvall drops the microphone and turns away from Evan, ready to make his way through the ropes-- but Envi grabs him from behind in a Dragon Sleeper and twists, slamming him across the point of his knee for the Guess Who! Duvall twitches from pain from the maneuver and rolls out of the ring, dropping to the floor! Envi reaches down and picks up the Overdrive Championship... Lifting it high above his head to the delight of the crowd as “Helter Skelter” plays again!
Chase: He just dropped the boss with the Guess Who! What the hell!
Harvey: Duvall said it was HIS Overdrive Title. I guess Evan Envi disagreed!
The cameras pan around, showing the wreckage, broken tables, mangled chairs, and abandoned ladder, along with Chris Madison, who continues to lie in the broken wood and splinters, and Alexander Duvall, who lies in pain on the ground.
Envi and Jenny Knite sarcastically take a bow to the crowd before leaving the ring and making their way to the back.

Six Person Tag Team Elimination Tables Match
Evan Envi & NewGen Rising (Jace Savage and Brian Hollywood) vs The Black Hand (Tommy Knox, Niobe “Nightmare” Martin, and “Madman” Chris Madison)
The crowd roars as the bell rings! Evan quickly reverses the roles on Tommy, backing him into the barricade with a series of well aimed kicks to the rib cage and sternum! Fans reach over the rail for a chance to touch the Megastars, but Tommy knees Evan in the gut and reverses the onslaught, throwing him into the ring apron! Evan lashes out again, and Spears Knox into the barricade! As he begins to unload with punches on Knox’s head and skull, our cameras switch to the ramp, where Savage and Hollywood have been battled all the way toward ringside. Niobe continues to smash away at Jace’s ribs with the singapore cane while Madison drives vicious fists into the skull of Brian Hollywood!
Harvey: This is pure chaos! All six men are legal! There are no pinfalls! No submissions! No rope breaks!
Chase: This might be the most ridiculous thing...
Harvey: This has the potential to get very out of hand, very quickly!
Hollywood fights Madison off with a stomp to the gut and a hard European Uppercut. Out of nowhere, he nails a Corkscrew Neckbreaker onto the ramp! The crowd roars and Niobe casts a look in their direction in utter shock, but the distraction is enough for Jace to grab the cane. Niobe initially refuses to let go, and Jace jerks her toward him-- into a Belly to Belly Suplex! Niobe rolls down the ramp, clutching her back in pain. Jace eyes Madison, grinning as he climbs to his feet.
Chase: He’s got that crazy look in his eyes!
Harvey: He sees where Madison is!
Chase: And that violent little enabler, Brian Hollywood, is encouraging him!
Hollywood pumps the crowd up as Jace stalks Madison. Madison climbs to his feet, but cries out in pain as he’s struck once... Twice... Thrice... Four times... Five times across the back and ribs with the cane! He staggers away from the NewGen members, but Savage swings the cane into his temple, effectively breaking it in two! Madison hits the ground and Hollywood steps over him, making his way toward the tables set up at the top of the ramp, earning a pop from the crowd.
Harvey: Hollywood’s thinkin’ wood!
Meanwhile, Evan Envi rolls Tommy Knox into the ring. Knox groggily climbs to his feet. Envi slides into the ring after him and charges-- but Knox nails a quick Dropkick out of nowhere to the crowd’s dismay. Evan hits the mat, holding his jaw in pain. Knox hoists him up and Irish Whips him against the ropes. Envi rebounds into a hard Spinning Backbreaker. He arches his back in pain and cries out in pure agony. Knox lifts him up again and delivers a boot to his midsection. He sets Envi up for his patented DDT-- the Sativa Spike-- but Envi is able to drop down and nail a Low Blow! Knox howls in pain and drops to his knees. Envi shoots the ropes and returns with a Shining Calf Kick! Knox hits the ground and Envi rises to his feet, looking out into the crowd, who all rise to their feet as well. Envi smirks a bit and winks into the audience before he forces Tommy up to his feet in a double underhook... And drives him viciously to the canvas with the Snap Double-Arm DDT... The Blues! Jace Savage slides into the ring and both men ascend the turnbuckles, briefly playing to the already-lively crowd.
Harvey: Momentum is on the side of NewGen and Evan Envi!
Chase: The Black Hand needs to regroup!
Niobe and Madison have made their way to their feet-- and Brian Hollywood is holding a table near the top of the ramp. He charges down toward them! Niobe is able to move out of the way, but Hollywood crashes into Madison head-on! The “Madman” rolls heads-over-heels down he ramp. Hollywood turns around toward Niobe again, but she delivers a hard Dropkick to his knee! Hollywood drops and smashes jaw-first across the closed table on the ramp. Niobe immediately pulls the table out from under him and begins to set it up on the bottom of the ramp. Evan Envi slides out of the ring and begins to move toward Niobe, but she wisely backs up the ramp, smirking at Evan.
Chase: Hah. Don’t let Niobe’s hesitance fool you. This girl knows EXACTLY how to drive our Overdrive Champion through a table or two.
Inside the ring, Jace Savage turns toward Tommy Knox, but he rises to his feet and blasts him with a closed fist to the jaw! The crowd boos, but--
Harvey: It’s completely legal, folks!
Jace Savage drops. He’s up to his feet within seconds, but Tommy Knox is already ready to pounce on him, driving him back to the canvas with a Swinging Neckbreaker. He mounts Savage and cries out in frustration as he throws a series of closed fists into his face. He forces Jace up by his hair and hooks him for a Snap Suplex! Savage rolls toward the ropes, groaning in pain. Knox is grabbed by his legs and tripped by Evan Envi from the outside, who tries to drag him out, but Niobe runs down to the ring again and leaps onto Evan’s back, doing her best to apply a Rear Naked Choke! Evan releases Tommy and turns, reaching over him to grab Niobe by the hair! The crowd roars as Evan, “wearing” Niobe as a human backpack, begins to slowly, but surely stride toward the table she set up!
Harvey: He’s gonna Snapmare Niobe right through the table!
Envi is taken down from behind again-- this time with a chair to the back of the knee courtesy of Chris Madison! Niobe drops down from Evan’s back and watches with satisfaction as Madison wails on him again with a chair shot to the back! Evan falls to the ground and Madison turns, once more, swinging to catch Brian Hollywood clear across the skull as Hollywood makes his way to Evan’s aid! Madison tosses the chair aside and grabs the table, pulling it closer to the ring. He positions Hollywood back-first on the table with help from Tommy Knox and motions for Niobe to climb to the top turnbuckle, earning a huge mixed reaction from our audience!
Chase: Say goodbye to Hollywood... Hah.
Harvey: Jace Savage!
As Niobe finally reaches the top turnbuckle-- her leg is grabbed and she is forced down by Jace Savage on the inside of the ring! Niobe lands throat-first over the top rope and coughs violently as she stumbles back into Savage’s awaiting arms, hitting a Side Russian Leg Sweep! Knox is the first to react. He charges into the ring-- and Jace slides out of the other side! Knox pauses, kneeling down to check on the fallen Niobe Martin, but Chris Madison continues to hit Hollywood with left hands on the outside! Brian Hollywood begins to cover up, and he blocks Madison’s next punch, grabbing his arm! Madison fights to get free, but Hollywood rolls off of the table, still maintaining a grip on Madison-- allowing Evan Envi to sprint forward, using the table as a catapult to step up and deliver a straight punt to the jaw of Chris Madison!
Harvey: OH MY GOD, WHAT A SHOT!
Chase: Not a cool move by Evan Envi. That’s the kind of thing that ends a career!
Harvey: Definitely controversial and unorthodox, but it was effective-- and legal!
Madison is on his hands and knees and a referee and medic immediately make their way toward him, showing legitimate concern with the possible issue. Envi, Savage, and Hollywood, however, each make their ways to a different respective area of the ring, throwing up the apron to retrieve more tables! The crowd roars as Envi slides his table into the ring, while Savage and Hollywood each prop their tables up against the barricade. Knox glares as Envi climbs up onto the apron. Knox and Niobe rise to their feet.
Evan cautiously begins to step into the ring, but Niobe and Knox pounce at him! Evan steps back onto the apron and grins, leaning on the top rope toward them. He says something to Knox that the cameras can’t pick up and Knox runs at him again, swinging at Evan wildly for a Lariat, but Envi drops down from the apron! Tommy yells down at him from the ropes-- but he’s hit from behind by Savage and Hollywood! The crowd roars as the two strike at Knox on the ground, and Evan slides into the ring, intercepting Niobe Martin who rushes to Knox’s aid-- taking her down with a Spear! Evan hops to his feet, roaring into the lively crowd!
Chase: Ahh! Poor Niobe got turned inside-out!
Harvey: I think Madison’s hurt, John.
Chase: His nose is busted. Medics are checking him out now, but he’s gonna have to suck it up, ice it up, and get back out here and help his team!
As Evan begins to set the table up in the corner in the ring. The crowd boos as Madison is escorted up the ramp by the medical team. Savage taunts him from the ring, and Madison, holding a towel over his blood-soaked nose, turns and gives Jace a deathly glare. Jace turns around in time to see Knox nail Hollywood with a thumb to the eyes followed by a Clothesline! Jace charges him, but Knox nails an Atomic Drop, then shoots the ropes, hitting a Bulldog! Evan Envi is quickly on top of Knox, before Knox can climb back to his feet, capturing him in a front facelock and driving knees into his gut and chest, but Knox fights him off with hard fists and then a knee to Evan’s midsection (while Niobe Martin discreetly rolls out of the ring and begins fishing around beneath the apron). Knox turns and grabs Envi by the base of the neck and the seat of his tights...
...And launches him head-first into the corner where Evan set up the table!
Harvey: Evan’s gonna--!
Evan Envi grabs the ropes on either side of the table and is able to stop himself, centimeters before it’s too late! He turns around and Knox charges him for a Stinger Splash-- but Envi dives out of the way and Knox crashes through the table!
Chase: NO! KNOX JUST BROKE HIMSELF IN HALF!
Harvey: But he’s not eliminated! Remember-- you need to put your opponent through the table by force, and Evan Envi didn’t touch Knox!
Envi climbs up to his feet and begins to make his way toward Knox-- but he’s hit hard from behind with a steel chair from Niobe Martin! The crowd boos uproariously and Envi falls against the ropes. Hollywood is finally able to regain his vision-- but he turns around into a steel chair shot to the ribcage. Niobe drops the chair to the mat and positions Hollywood for a DDT, but he plants his feet and lifts Niobe Martin up as if for a Flapjack, taking a single stride forward... And Jace Savage leaps into the air, bringing Niobe down for a DDT onto the mat!
Chase: Alright... Now THAT was impressive.
Hollywood rolls out of the ring, grabbing one of the tables that was set up against a barricade. He flattens it and slides it into the ring, where Savage immediately begins to set it up in the center. Tommy Knox begins to climb back to his feet, and Niobe Martin rolls out to the apron. Hollywood makes his way toward her, but she grabs his hair and drops from the apron, choking him over the middle rope! Hollywood falls to his knees, coughing in pain. Niobe lies on the floor on the outside, still recovering from the tag team maneuver from earlier-- and Savage considers going after her, but ultimately turns his attention back to Knox...
...Who grabs Savage for a Half Nelson, and launches him through the table with a Half-Nelson Suplex!
ELIMINATED: JACE SAVAGE
Harvey: WOW! A Half-Nelson Suplex through the table! Savage is eliminated! Per the rules, he’s out of this match!
Chase: And now it’s even! Madison got escorted to the back, and we don’t know if he’s coming back out here or not!
While the referee begins to remove the broken pieces of wood from the ring, Tommy Knox grins, watching as Brian Hollywood gets to his feet... He kicks him in the gut and drops him with a DDT-- the Sativa Spike! Hollywood rolls onto his back and the crowd boos as Niobe Martin begins to climb to the top rope, still holding her head from the earlier attack. She leaps from the top and nails a Shooting Star Press-- Phantasm Horror! Hollywood clutches his ribs in pain and rolls out of the ring. Knox slides out of the ring on the other side, grabbing a table from beneath the ring and sliding it inside.
Harvey: And yet another table is introduced in this match!
Niobe Martin stomps away at the downed Evan Envi until Tommy Knox grabs Envi by the hair and forces him to his feet. He hits Envi with a T-Bone Suplex onto the flattened table. Envi arches his back in pain and rolls onto the mat. Knox steps to his feet and grins down at Evan. He drags him to the center of the ring and Niobe climbs to the top rope again. Knox delivers a stomp to Evan’s gut for good measure and backs up, as Niobe leaps from the top for a 450 Splash!
Chase: The Hallucination!
Harvey: And now Hollywood and Envi are easy pickings... The Black Hand is about to win this match in a clean sweep!
Niobe begins to set the table up, but Tommy Knox slides out of the ring again.
Harvey: Now what?
Knox lifts the apron up and then kneels down... Before retrieving a ladder from beneath the ring.
Chase: We already have the tables and the chairs! Knox just introduced the ladder!
Harvey: This is NOT a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, ladies, and gentlemen! At Shockwave, Tommy Knox and Evan Envi will square off in a Ladder Match, but this is taking an already-barbaric match to the extreme!
The crowd roars as Knox brings the ladder into the ring. He sets it up near the corner and looks between Brian Hollywood and Evan Envi . Niobe has the table set up in the center of the ring and Knox looks between the two men before grabbing Hollywood by the hair and the tights, launching him out of the ring over the middle rope! He then pulls Envi to his feet and delivers clubbing blows to the back of his head and neck before he throws him onto the table. He continues to punch away at Envi... While Niobe Martin begins to climb the ladder.
Harvey: We’ve seen this before...
The crowd grows loud, once again, and Knox-- with his back turned to the ladder-- speaks into Envi’s ear while simultaneously choking him. He fails to see, however, Jenny Knite run down to the ring!
Chase: Come on, now! Somebody stop this girl!
With Niobe’s back to the corner, Jenny climbs to the top turnbuckle! She reaches out and grabs Niobe by the hair! Niobe shrieks as she’s ripped from the ladder!
Chase: Oh my God!
Niobe crashes from the middle of the ladder, straight down to the floor below! Knox turns around in confusion-- and Jenny sits on the top of the turnbuckle corner, using both feet to kick the ladder! It crashes down on top of Knox, hitting him in the skull and taking him to the mat! Knox rolls away in pain and Evan climbs off of the table. He and Jenny share a brief conversation in the middle of the ring before...
Harvey: CHRIS MADISON!
Jenny barely moves out of the way, but Evan turns around-- into a Yakuza Kick from a bloodied Chris Madison! Evan crashes to the mat and Madison takes a step toward Jenny, but she slides out of the ring in the knick of time. Madison smirks at her. He turns and lifts Envi up, capturing him in a Double Underhook. He goes for the Tiger Driver through the table set up in the middle of the ring--
But at the last second, Brian Hollywood pulls the table out of the way and Envi hits the canvas instead! Madison immediately changes direction and runs at Hollywood for a Running Yakuza Kick, but Hollywood ducks! Both men hit the ropes and Madison goes for a Shining Wizard, using Hollywood’s own knee as a base, but Hollywood pivots at the last second and drives Madison down with a modified Facebuster! Madison cries out in agony, throwing a hand over his nose! He rolls away and Hollywood looks up, ducking under a running Lariat from Tommy Knox! Knox turns around and Hollywood nails a Spinning Heel Kick! Knox gets up and Hollywood nails a second, and finally hits a Dropkick! He goes to pick Knox up-- but Madison has grabbed the steel chair and smashes it across Hollywood’s back! Knox and Madison take turns stomping away at Hollywood, earning boos from the crowd... But they cheer as Evan Envi rises to his feet, turning Madison away from Hollywood and planting him with a Ura-Nage!
Harvey: And Hollywood is saved!
Chase: This is the luckiest man in wrestling.
Knox gets the better of Envi though, hitting him with a running knee to the temple! Envi collapses to the mat and Knox begins to set the ladder up again. Niobe Martin rolls back into the ring, holding her back in pain. She glares at Jenny Knite, who watches with concern from the outside.
Harvey: If looks could kill...
Chase: Tommy Knox has Envi up... Is he gonna try to put him through that table again?!
Harvey: I don’t know-- Madison is out there as an equalizer this time, so Jenny Knite won’t be able to stop him!
Chase: But Madison’s down!
Knox pulls Envi up onto his shoulder and looks out into the audience-- before dropping him with a Reverse Piledriver! Jenny Knite gasps and rushes to Evan’s aid as Evan rolls to the apron, clutching his neck!
Harvey: That was a BLATANT attempt at injuring Evan Envi’s neck!
Chase: Envi tried to break Madison’s face earlier! You didn’t say a damned word then!
Tommy Knox screams down at Brian Hollywood and goes to lift him to his feet, but Hollywood fights back! He hits Knox with a hard shot to the skull and as Niobe charges him, he throws an elbow back, catching her in the chest! Niobe stumbles backward and Hollywood strikes Knox again, taking him to the mat! He turns around and levels Niobe with a Clothesline! Hollywood turns toward Knox once again, but Chris Madison, who had rolled out to the apron unbeknownst to the competitors, leaps onto the top rope and nails a Springboard Shining Wizard! Hollywood is struck so hard that he flips onto his stomach from the maneuver!
Chase: LIGHTS OUT!
Madison roars out into the booing crowd. He pulls Hollywood up and lies him across the table while a groggy and hurt Niobe begins to climb to the top turnbuckle.
Harvey: Niobe doesn’t have the strength to climb that ladder, but--
She leaps off for a Phantasm Horror Shooting Star Press, sending Brian Hollywood crashing through the table!
Chase: But the top rope is just as effective!
ELIMINATED: BRIAN HOLLYWOOD
Harvey: And now... And now Evan Envi is all alone.
Evan Envi sits in the corner, watching the three Black Hand members intently. Knox is back to his feet, as is Niobe. The three of them watch Envi, and for several moments, none of the four Megastars move an inch.
Harvey: This could be really... Really... Bad...
Chase: This is the worst thing that could possibly happen to Evan! Ha!
Envi looks between the three members and slowly pulls himself to his feet.
”EN-VI!”
”EN-VI!”
”EN-VI!”
Knox, Madison, and Martin all begin to slowly step closer toward Evan. Knox leads the pack from the center. Evan continues to stand in the corner, unmoving, until Knox is roughly three feet away-- and then Envi charges directly toward Knox, nailing a Somersault Neckbreaker! Knox rolls away and Envi springs to his feet, taking an oncoming Niobe Martin down with an Arm Drag! He holds onto her arm and delivers a stomp to the gut of the oncoming Chris Madison! Envi drops Niobe’s arm and hooks Madison for a Fisherman’s Suplex, dropping him down across the ribcage of Martin!
Harvey: And he’s still in this thing! Evan might have a chance! LOOK!
Jenny Knite positions the table set up on the outside of the ring so it is about two feet from the apron! She climbs up to the apron and pulls the top rope down as far as she can while Evan drags Niobe out from under Madison and pulls her up into a Gutwrench! With Jenny low-bridging the ropes, Envi is able to shakily make his way to the edge of the ring and drive Niobe down through the table with a Gutwrench Powerbomb! Niobe lies in the wreckage, unmoving, and the audience explodes into thunderous ovation!

Chase: That’s not fair! Jenny Knite helped! She’s not even in this damned match!
Harvey: Jenny Knite just gained a tiny measure of revenge for the attacks over the past few weeks!
Evan Envi and Tommy Knox are back to exchanging blows in the center of the ring! Knox seems to gain the upperhand after a European Uppercut, but Envi fires back with a roundhouse kick to the temple out of nowhere! Knox falls to his knees-- and Envi blasts him with a Superkick to the jaw! Knox seems to be limp on the mat and the crowd roars as Jenny Knite retrieves yet another table from beneath the ring, beginning to set it up on the outside.
Harvey: And now Envi has his sights on Madison! I think he wants Knox alone in this match!
Jenny takes her position on the apron again, low-bridging the top rope! Envi brings Madison toward the “edge” of the ring and positions him for a Belly-to-Belly! Envi tries to launch him over the ropes through the table... But Madison grapevines Evan’s leck, preventing the Suplex! He launches Envi through the air and onto the mat with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex instead! Jenny drops down from the apron as Madison casts a look in her direction. Madison turns back toward Envi, striding toward him, but Envi pushes himself to his knees and swings at Madison with a steel chair!
…Madison jumps back, avoiding the shot by a few inches and charges forward, kicking the chair away from Envi! Still dripping with blood, Madison forces Envi to his feet and lifts him up across his shoulders, back-first-- then drops him with an Argentine Backbreaker! The crowd groans in sympathy and Envi slams a fist on the mat as a means of coping with the excruciating pain. Madison rises to his knees and on the other side of the ring, Tommy Knox stumbles to his feet as well. He falls against the ropes, taking deep breaths, before his eyes settle on the ladder. With a grin, Knox grabs the ladder and holds it like a spear. Madison lifts Envi up and throws Envi toward Knox-- and Knox charges forward, driving the ladder hard toward Envi’s skull. Envi tries to cover-up, but he’s still thrown backward, head-over-heels and to his stomach from the impact to the crowd’s-- and Jenny Knite’s-- dismay.
Chase: And it’s not lookin’ too good. Even with Niobe Martin out of the picture, the Black Hand is too strong. Knox took the League out of APW by himself-- and Envi thinks he’s gonna fare well in a two-on-one situation?
Harvey: We saw Envi admit this week that this was his first time being a target in his entire career. The Black Hand will not rest until Evan Envi is incapacitated.
Tommy Knox stomps at Evan, who doesn’t seem to be moving anymore. Madison goes outside, marching all the way up the ramp to grab another table from the top of the ramp. He drags it down toward the ring, while Knox locks Envi in a Chin Lock, making him watch as Madison slides into the ring and begins to set the table up in the corner. He then throws Envi face-first into the mat and signals to the crowd that it’s “over.”
Harvey: Evan Envi put up a good fight, but I think this one’s done!
Knox lifts Envi up into a Full Nelson and allows Madison to get four solid punches into his exposed ribcage. Envi falls to his knees, but Knox forces him up again, bringing him toward the table... But Envi brings his foot back, catching Knox with a Low Blow! The crowd roars and Knox groans, falling to his knees! Madison grabs Envi for the beginnings of a Muy Thai clinch, but Envi breaks through his hands and kicks Madison in the stomach! Envi shoots the ropes and returns, hitting Madison with a Wheelbarrow One-Handed Bulldog-- on top of the steel chair Envi dropped earlier!
Chase: That nose HAS to be shattered!
Harvey: I don’t even think Envi realized the chair was there!
Madison rolls out to the floor, clutching his nose again! Envi climbs to his feet, but he’s hit with a Big Boot to the side of the head by Knox! Knox stands tall over Envi-- but soon, Knox is blasted in the temple with the Overdrive Championship, by Jenny Knite!
Chase: Why hasn’t she been ejected yet?! Don’t gimme that “NO RULES” BS either!
Harvey: This is karma! Tommy Knox is finally getting a dose of his own medicine! Look at this!
Jenny Knite goes out to ringside and grabs the table, sliding it beneath the ropes. Envi takes pleasure in setting the table up, while giving Jenny strict directions that the cameras don’t pick up right away. Jenny looks confused at first, but she turns and picks up the ladder that Knox dropped earlier, setting it up! While Envi lies Knox across the table, Jenny ascends the ladder to a roar from the audience!
Harvey: Sweet revenge!
Jenny sits on the top of the ladder for a moment, looking down at Knox as Envi continues to hold him down across the table. With a deep breath, Jenny leaps from the top, crashing down through Knox with a Splash! The table explodes beneath Knox and he lies in the wreckage, completely limp.
ELIMINATED: TOMMY KNOX
Chase: No! NO!
Harvey: And now we’re down to two! Madison versus Envi!
Jenny Knite hands the Overdrive Championship to Evan Envi, and Envi stands above Knox with a broad grin on his face. He lifts the title high into the air to a roar from the capacity crowd.
Enough! STOP RIGHT THERE, MR. HARRISON!
The crowd boos, and a ”YOU SUCK!” chant immediately commences as General Manager, Alexander Duvall steps out onto the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand. He shakes his head, glaring down at the ring.
Duvall: I’ve had it! Alright? I have HAD IT with these antics! You were an unruly employee to begin with, but now you’re signed with a different company, holding MY Overdrive Championship, and your PERSONAL EMPLOYEE is here putting my Megastars through tables, ruining my main event match! You’re a nuisance! Put my title down!
This merely prompts Envi to lift the championship belt up again, showing it to different sections of the audience.
Duvall: You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into, Mr. Harrison! Put my championship down right now before I come in there and I put it down for you! And you know I bloody-well will!
Envi, with a laugh, makes his way back toward the ropes, inviting Duvall into the ring-- but Envi is hit from behind with a chunk of broken table by Tommy Knox! Envi falls to his knees and the belt drops to the outside. Knox drags Envi to the center of the ring and drops him with the Sativa Spike DDT! The crowd boos as Knox climbs to his feet. Jenny Knite drops to her knees, frantically checking on Envi. Knox stares at her, his hands on his hips. The crowd groans, fearing what’s coming next.
Harvey: Jenny... Get out of there...
Chase: She’s about to get what’s coming to her.
Alexander Duvall makes his way to the ring apron, raising the microphone to his lips and grinning up at Tommy Knox.
Duvall: Do it, Tommy.
This prompts Jenny to turn around, but Tommy Knox quickly drives a knee into her jaw to an overwhelming chorus of boos from the audience.
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
While the censors scramble for a way to avoid the crowd’s chants, Tommy Knox drags Jenny Knite to her feet by her hair. He stairs at her for a few moments and then whispers something into her ear... Before launching her neck-and-shoulder first through the table set up in the corner. The crowd’s chants only deepen and Tommy Knox, without another word or thought, steps out of the ring through the ropes and saunters his way to the back.
Harvey: You’ve gotta be kidding me!
Chase: Jenny Knite’s in a heap! Tommy, wait, you forgot your belt! Ha.
Harvey: I can’t believe this!
Duvall looks at Jenny for a moment and then turns his attention to the fallen Envi.
Duvall: You two dug these graves for yourselves. And when you lose Tommy at Shockwave, Evan-- you’re BANNED from competition in Action Packed Wrestling forever!
Harvey: What?!
Chase: Whoa.
This triggers nothing but boos from the audience, who direct an ”ASSHOLE!” chant toward our General Manager.
‘Duvall: ...That means after Shockwave, we never have to see Evan Envi in APW again! YOU’RE DONE!
Members of the audience chuck food and trash at Knox as he gingerly makes his way up the ramp, through the curtains. Another medic has made his way to the ring, checking on Jenny Knite. Evan Envi climbs to his feet, looking at Jenny in horror. Alexander Duvall grins up at Envi from the outside. Envi stumbles toward the ropes-- but he’s grabbed from behind by Chris Madison and planted with a German Suplex! Envi rolls to the middle of the ring and gets to his feet again, but Madison sprints at him and takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press, followed by a half-dozen elbows to either side of the head! Madison screams into Envi’s face before he lifts him up and positions him for a Brainbuster-- but Envi lands on his feet behind him! Envi tries to lock Madison in a Cobra Clutch, but Madison reverses with a Snapmare! Envi climbs to his feet, and Madison positions him for a Powerbomb... Only to transition it into a Backstabber, bringing Envi hard across his knees!
Chase: Backiotomy!
Harvey: And Evan Envi’s back has taken so much punishment in this match! He’s not gonna be the same going into Shockwave against Knox!
Madison stands over Envi, and Madison’s face is nearly unrecognizable, hidden behind a crimson mask. He drops to his knees and rolls out of the ring. Madison reaches beneath the ring, retrieving another table. He sets it up on the outside of the ring and reaches inside, grabbing Evan by the arm. Madison pulls Envi close to the ropes. With Envi still in the ring, Madison then climbs up onto the apron himself, pulling Envi up to his knees by the hair. Madison then positions Envi for a Suplex!
Harvey: Envi’s gonna crash right through that table!
Envi stops himself from being lifted up and over the ropes, wrapping his feet around the bottom rope! Madison kicks at Envi’s legs until he releases and then he goes for a Suplex again, getting Envi over the ropes-- but Envi lands on the apron! Envi hits Madison with hard shots to the skull and then positions him for a Russian Leg Sweep!
Chase: This is it!
Madison blocks the Russian Leg Sweep, however! He hits Envi with an elbow to the jaw, and then pulls him from the apron by his tights! Envi goes flying down toward the table!
...But he lands on his feet, landing about an inch from the table!
Harvey: Madison almost won it!
Envi turns back to Madison and jumps up, hitting him with a shot to the kidneys! Madison groans in pain and Envi hooks Madison for a high angle Back Suplex and carries him off of the apron, earning a pop from the crowd! Envi backs up toward the table, but Madison kicks wildly, dropping out of Envi’s grasp, landing on his feet on the other side of the table!
Chase: Jesus...
Harvey: So many close calls!
Envi pushes the table at Madison, driving it into his ribs, pinning him against the barricade! Madison grunts in pain and Envi slides the table out of the way, throwing a roundhouse kick at Madison’s head-- but Madison ducks down and hits Envi with a Saito Suplex onto the barricade! Envi groans and drops to his knees, crawling across the floor by the barricade in agony. Madison delivers a punt to Evan’s ribs. Envi is curled up against the barricade in pain.
Duvall: Finish him! End it now, Chris!
Chris Madison shoots Duvall an annoyed look. Duvall takes a step back with a smirk, raising his hands in defense.
Duvall: I’m on your side.
Madison lifts Envi up and guides him toward the table. He positions Envi for a Powerbomb again-- but Envi rakes his eyes! Madison throws a hand over his face in pain and Envi falls backwards, against the table! Envi’s eyebrow perks as a “lightbulb” upstairs goes off. He positions the table, slanted against the barricade. He pulls Madison toward the table, but Madison fights back! Madison captures Envi in the Muy Thai Clinch and drives knees into sternum! Envi is dropped to his knees and Madison forces him up, a hand over his throat-- but the audience soon begins to scream!
Chase: What’s he doing back out here?!
Madison is suddenly hit from behind with a Clothesline by Jace Savage! The audience roars as Madison and Savage exchange fists at ringside, only for Savage to gain the upperhand with an elbow to the chin! Savage Irish Whips Madison face-first into the ring post! Madison hits the ground, motionless, and Savage yells “SEE YOU AT SHOCKWAVE!” before shoving past Alexander Duvall, making his way toward the back! Alexander Duvall watches Jace Savage leave with a look of pure shock on his face.
Harvey: What a message! Jace Savage just saved Evan Envi-- and I think he just issued a threat to Chris Madison!
Chase: That’s not fair!
Meanwhile, inside the ring, Jenny Knite, although moving groggily and in pain, has crawled toward the ladder and is sliding it out of the ring, calling for Evan Envi! Evan grabs the ladder from Jenny, holding it like a spear as Knox had earlier. Envi watches as Chris Madison begins to climb to his feet.
Chase: How much help is Envi gonna get?!
Harvey: It pays to have friends!
Chris Madison finally turns to face Evan Envi. Envi sprints at him, driving the ladder into his gut. Madison is driven backwards, and taken off of his feet, smashing through the table set up against the barricade!

The bell rings and Envi collapses to his knees, dropping the ladder as “Helter Skelter” hits the PA system.
Paige: And here are your winners... The team of Jace Savage, Brian Hollywood, and the APW Overdrive Champion, EVAANNNN ENNNVIIIIII!
Evan Envi & NewGen Rising (Jace Savage and Brian Hollywood) vs The Black Hand (Tommy Knox, Niobe “Nightmare” Martin, and “Madman” Chris Madison)
The crowd roars as the bell rings! Evan quickly reverses the roles on Tommy, backing him into the barricade with a series of well aimed kicks to the rib cage and sternum! Fans reach over the rail for a chance to touch the Megastars, but Tommy knees Evan in the gut and reverses the onslaught, throwing him into the ring apron! Evan lashes out again, and Spears Knox into the barricade! As he begins to unload with punches on Knox’s head and skull, our cameras switch to the ramp, where Savage and Hollywood have been battled all the way toward ringside. Niobe continues to smash away at Jace’s ribs with the singapore cane while Madison drives vicious fists into the skull of Brian Hollywood!
Harvey: This is pure chaos! All six men are legal! There are no pinfalls! No submissions! No rope breaks!
Chase: This might be the most ridiculous thing...
Harvey: This has the potential to get very out of hand, very quickly!
Hollywood fights Madison off with a stomp to the gut and a hard European Uppercut. Out of nowhere, he nails a Corkscrew Neckbreaker onto the ramp! The crowd roars and Niobe casts a look in their direction in utter shock, but the distraction is enough for Jace to grab the cane. Niobe initially refuses to let go, and Jace jerks her toward him-- into a Belly to Belly Suplex! Niobe rolls down the ramp, clutching her back in pain. Jace eyes Madison, grinning as he climbs to his feet.
Chase: He’s got that crazy look in his eyes!
Harvey: He sees where Madison is!
Chase: And that violent little enabler, Brian Hollywood, is encouraging him!
Hollywood pumps the crowd up as Jace stalks Madison. Madison climbs to his feet, but cries out in pain as he’s struck once... Twice... Thrice... Four times... Five times across the back and ribs with the cane! He staggers away from the NewGen members, but Savage swings the cane into his temple, effectively breaking it in two! Madison hits the ground and Hollywood steps over him, making his way toward the tables set up at the top of the ramp, earning a pop from the crowd.
Harvey: Hollywood’s thinkin’ wood!
Meanwhile, Evan Envi rolls Tommy Knox into the ring. Knox groggily climbs to his feet. Envi slides into the ring after him and charges-- but Knox nails a quick Dropkick out of nowhere to the crowd’s dismay. Evan hits the mat, holding his jaw in pain. Knox hoists him up and Irish Whips him against the ropes. Envi rebounds into a hard Spinning Backbreaker. He arches his back in pain and cries out in pure agony. Knox lifts him up again and delivers a boot to his midsection. He sets Envi up for his patented DDT-- the Sativa Spike-- but Envi is able to drop down and nail a Low Blow! Knox howls in pain and drops to his knees. Envi shoots the ropes and returns with a Shining Calf Kick! Knox hits the ground and Envi rises to his feet, looking out into the crowd, who all rise to their feet as well. Envi smirks a bit and winks into the audience before he forces Tommy up to his feet in a double underhook... And drives him viciously to the canvas with the Snap Double-Arm DDT... The Blues! Jace Savage slides into the ring and both men ascend the turnbuckles, briefly playing to the already-lively crowd.
Harvey: Momentum is on the side of NewGen and Evan Envi!
Chase: The Black Hand needs to regroup!
Niobe and Madison have made their way to their feet-- and Brian Hollywood is holding a table near the top of the ramp. He charges down toward them! Niobe is able to move out of the way, but Hollywood crashes into Madison head-on! The “Madman” rolls heads-over-heels down he ramp. Hollywood turns around toward Niobe again, but she delivers a hard Dropkick to his knee! Hollywood drops and smashes jaw-first across the closed table on the ramp. Niobe immediately pulls the table out from under him and begins to set it up on the bottom of the ramp. Evan Envi slides out of the ring and begins to move toward Niobe, but she wisely backs up the ramp, smirking at Evan.
Chase: Hah. Don’t let Niobe’s hesitance fool you. This girl knows EXACTLY how to drive our Overdrive Champion through a table or two.
Inside the ring, Jace Savage turns toward Tommy Knox, but he rises to his feet and blasts him with a closed fist to the jaw! The crowd boos, but--
Harvey: It’s completely legal, folks!
Jace Savage drops. He’s up to his feet within seconds, but Tommy Knox is already ready to pounce on him, driving him back to the canvas with a Swinging Neckbreaker. He mounts Savage and cries out in frustration as he throws a series of closed fists into his face. He forces Jace up by his hair and hooks him for a Snap Suplex! Savage rolls toward the ropes, groaning in pain. Knox is grabbed by his legs and tripped by Evan Envi from the outside, who tries to drag him out, but Niobe runs down to the ring again and leaps onto Evan’s back, doing her best to apply a Rear Naked Choke! Evan releases Tommy and turns, reaching over him to grab Niobe by the hair! The crowd roars as Evan, “wearing” Niobe as a human backpack, begins to slowly, but surely stride toward the table she set up!
Harvey: He’s gonna Snapmare Niobe right through the table!
Envi is taken down from behind again-- this time with a chair to the back of the knee courtesy of Chris Madison! Niobe drops down from Evan’s back and watches with satisfaction as Madison wails on him again with a chair shot to the back! Evan falls to the ground and Madison turns, once more, swinging to catch Brian Hollywood clear across the skull as Hollywood makes his way to Evan’s aid! Madison tosses the chair aside and grabs the table, pulling it closer to the ring. He positions Hollywood back-first on the table with help from Tommy Knox and motions for Niobe to climb to the top turnbuckle, earning a huge mixed reaction from our audience!
Chase: Say goodbye to Hollywood... Hah.
Harvey: Jace Savage!
As Niobe finally reaches the top turnbuckle-- her leg is grabbed and she is forced down by Jace Savage on the inside of the ring! Niobe lands throat-first over the top rope and coughs violently as she stumbles back into Savage’s awaiting arms, hitting a Side Russian Leg Sweep! Knox is the first to react. He charges into the ring-- and Jace slides out of the other side! Knox pauses, kneeling down to check on the fallen Niobe Martin, but Chris Madison continues to hit Hollywood with left hands on the outside! Brian Hollywood begins to cover up, and he blocks Madison’s next punch, grabbing his arm! Madison fights to get free, but Hollywood rolls off of the table, still maintaining a grip on Madison-- allowing Evan Envi to sprint forward, using the table as a catapult to step up and deliver a straight punt to the jaw of Chris Madison!
Harvey: OH MY GOD, WHAT A SHOT!
Chase: Not a cool move by Evan Envi. That’s the kind of thing that ends a career!
Harvey: Definitely controversial and unorthodox, but it was effective-- and legal!
Madison is on his hands and knees and a referee and medic immediately make their way toward him, showing legitimate concern with the possible issue. Envi, Savage, and Hollywood, however, each make their ways to a different respective area of the ring, throwing up the apron to retrieve more tables! The crowd roars as Envi slides his table into the ring, while Savage and Hollywood each prop their tables up against the barricade. Knox glares as Envi climbs up onto the apron. Knox and Niobe rise to their feet.
Evan cautiously begins to step into the ring, but Niobe and Knox pounce at him! Evan steps back onto the apron and grins, leaning on the top rope toward them. He says something to Knox that the cameras can’t pick up and Knox runs at him again, swinging at Evan wildly for a Lariat, but Envi drops down from the apron! Tommy yells down at him from the ropes-- but he’s hit from behind by Savage and Hollywood! The crowd roars as the two strike at Knox on the ground, and Evan slides into the ring, intercepting Niobe Martin who rushes to Knox’s aid-- taking her down with a Spear! Evan hops to his feet, roaring into the lively crowd!
Chase: Ahh! Poor Niobe got turned inside-out!
Harvey: I think Madison’s hurt, John.
Chase: His nose is busted. Medics are checking him out now, but he’s gonna have to suck it up, ice it up, and get back out here and help his team!
As Evan begins to set the table up in the corner in the ring. The crowd boos as Madison is escorted up the ramp by the medical team. Savage taunts him from the ring, and Madison, holding a towel over his blood-soaked nose, turns and gives Jace a deathly glare. Jace turns around in time to see Knox nail Hollywood with a thumb to the eyes followed by a Clothesline! Jace charges him, but Knox nails an Atomic Drop, then shoots the ropes, hitting a Bulldog! Evan Envi is quickly on top of Knox, before Knox can climb back to his feet, capturing him in a front facelock and driving knees into his gut and chest, but Knox fights him off with hard fists and then a knee to Evan’s midsection (while Niobe Martin discreetly rolls out of the ring and begins fishing around beneath the apron). Knox turns and grabs Envi by the base of the neck and the seat of his tights...
...And launches him head-first into the corner where Evan set up the table!
Harvey: Evan’s gonna--!
Evan Envi grabs the ropes on either side of the table and is able to stop himself, centimeters before it’s too late! He turns around and Knox charges him for a Stinger Splash-- but Envi dives out of the way and Knox crashes through the table!
Chase: NO! KNOX JUST BROKE HIMSELF IN HALF!
Harvey: But he’s not eliminated! Remember-- you need to put your opponent through the table by force, and Evan Envi didn’t touch Knox!
Envi climbs up to his feet and begins to make his way toward Knox-- but he’s hit hard from behind with a steel chair from Niobe Martin! The crowd boos uproariously and Envi falls against the ropes. Hollywood is finally able to regain his vision-- but he turns around into a steel chair shot to the ribcage. Niobe drops the chair to the mat and positions Hollywood for a DDT, but he plants his feet and lifts Niobe Martin up as if for a Flapjack, taking a single stride forward... And Jace Savage leaps into the air, bringing Niobe down for a DDT onto the mat!
Chase: Alright... Now THAT was impressive.
Hollywood rolls out of the ring, grabbing one of the tables that was set up against a barricade. He flattens it and slides it into the ring, where Savage immediately begins to set it up in the center. Tommy Knox begins to climb back to his feet, and Niobe Martin rolls out to the apron. Hollywood makes his way toward her, but she grabs his hair and drops from the apron, choking him over the middle rope! Hollywood falls to his knees, coughing in pain. Niobe lies on the floor on the outside, still recovering from the tag team maneuver from earlier-- and Savage considers going after her, but ultimately turns his attention back to Knox...
...Who grabs Savage for a Half Nelson, and launches him through the table with a Half-Nelson Suplex!
ELIMINATED: JACE SAVAGE
Harvey: WOW! A Half-Nelson Suplex through the table! Savage is eliminated! Per the rules, he’s out of this match!
Chase: And now it’s even! Madison got escorted to the back, and we don’t know if he’s coming back out here or not!
While the referee begins to remove the broken pieces of wood from the ring, Tommy Knox grins, watching as Brian Hollywood gets to his feet... He kicks him in the gut and drops him with a DDT-- the Sativa Spike! Hollywood rolls onto his back and the crowd boos as Niobe Martin begins to climb to the top rope, still holding her head from the earlier attack. She leaps from the top and nails a Shooting Star Press-- Phantasm Horror! Hollywood clutches his ribs in pain and rolls out of the ring. Knox slides out of the ring on the other side, grabbing a table from beneath the ring and sliding it inside.
Harvey: And yet another table is introduced in this match!
Niobe Martin stomps away at the downed Evan Envi until Tommy Knox grabs Envi by the hair and forces him to his feet. He hits Envi with a T-Bone Suplex onto the flattened table. Envi arches his back in pain and rolls onto the mat. Knox steps to his feet and grins down at Evan. He drags him to the center of the ring and Niobe climbs to the top rope again. Knox delivers a stomp to Evan’s gut for good measure and backs up, as Niobe leaps from the top for a 450 Splash!
Chase: The Hallucination!
Harvey: And now Hollywood and Envi are easy pickings... The Black Hand is about to win this match in a clean sweep!
Niobe begins to set the table up, but Tommy Knox slides out of the ring again.
Harvey: Now what?
Knox lifts the apron up and then kneels down... Before retrieving a ladder from beneath the ring.
Chase: We already have the tables and the chairs! Knox just introduced the ladder!
Harvey: This is NOT a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match, ladies, and gentlemen! At Shockwave, Tommy Knox and Evan Envi will square off in a Ladder Match, but this is taking an already-barbaric match to the extreme!
The crowd roars as Knox brings the ladder into the ring. He sets it up near the corner and looks between Brian Hollywood and Evan Envi . Niobe has the table set up in the center of the ring and Knox looks between the two men before grabbing Hollywood by the hair and the tights, launching him out of the ring over the middle rope! He then pulls Envi to his feet and delivers clubbing blows to the back of his head and neck before he throws him onto the table. He continues to punch away at Envi... While Niobe Martin begins to climb the ladder.
Harvey: We’ve seen this before...
The crowd grows loud, once again, and Knox-- with his back turned to the ladder-- speaks into Envi’s ear while simultaneously choking him. He fails to see, however, Jenny Knite run down to the ring!
Chase: Come on, now! Somebody stop this girl!
With Niobe’s back to the corner, Jenny climbs to the top turnbuckle! She reaches out and grabs Niobe by the hair! Niobe shrieks as she’s ripped from the ladder!
Chase: Oh my God!
Niobe crashes from the middle of the ladder, straight down to the floor below! Knox turns around in confusion-- and Jenny sits on the top of the turnbuckle corner, using both feet to kick the ladder! It crashes down on top of Knox, hitting him in the skull and taking him to the mat! Knox rolls away in pain and Evan climbs off of the table. He and Jenny share a brief conversation in the middle of the ring before...
Harvey: CHRIS MADISON!
Jenny barely moves out of the way, but Evan turns around-- into a Yakuza Kick from a bloodied Chris Madison! Evan crashes to the mat and Madison takes a step toward Jenny, but she slides out of the ring in the knick of time. Madison smirks at her. He turns and lifts Envi up, capturing him in a Double Underhook. He goes for the Tiger Driver through the table set up in the middle of the ring--
But at the last second, Brian Hollywood pulls the table out of the way and Envi hits the canvas instead! Madison immediately changes direction and runs at Hollywood for a Running Yakuza Kick, but Hollywood ducks! Both men hit the ropes and Madison goes for a Shining Wizard, using Hollywood’s own knee as a base, but Hollywood pivots at the last second and drives Madison down with a modified Facebuster! Madison cries out in agony, throwing a hand over his nose! He rolls away and Hollywood looks up, ducking under a running Lariat from Tommy Knox! Knox turns around and Hollywood nails a Spinning Heel Kick! Knox gets up and Hollywood nails a second, and finally hits a Dropkick! He goes to pick Knox up-- but Madison has grabbed the steel chair and smashes it across Hollywood’s back! Knox and Madison take turns stomping away at Hollywood, earning boos from the crowd... But they cheer as Evan Envi rises to his feet, turning Madison away from Hollywood and planting him with a Ura-Nage!
Harvey: And Hollywood is saved!
Chase: This is the luckiest man in wrestling.
Knox gets the better of Envi though, hitting him with a running knee to the temple! Envi collapses to the mat and Knox begins to set the ladder up again. Niobe Martin rolls back into the ring, holding her back in pain. She glares at Jenny Knite, who watches with concern from the outside.
Harvey: If looks could kill...
Chase: Tommy Knox has Envi up... Is he gonna try to put him through that table again?!
Harvey: I don’t know-- Madison is out there as an equalizer this time, so Jenny Knite won’t be able to stop him!
Chase: But Madison’s down!
Knox pulls Envi up onto his shoulder and looks out into the audience-- before dropping him with a Reverse Piledriver! Jenny Knite gasps and rushes to Evan’s aid as Evan rolls to the apron, clutching his neck!
Harvey: That was a BLATANT attempt at injuring Evan Envi’s neck!
Chase: Envi tried to break Madison’s face earlier! You didn’t say a damned word then!
Tommy Knox screams down at Brian Hollywood and goes to lift him to his feet, but Hollywood fights back! He hits Knox with a hard shot to the skull and as Niobe charges him, he throws an elbow back, catching her in the chest! Niobe stumbles backward and Hollywood strikes Knox again, taking him to the mat! He turns around and levels Niobe with a Clothesline! Hollywood turns toward Knox once again, but Chris Madison, who had rolled out to the apron unbeknownst to the competitors, leaps onto the top rope and nails a Springboard Shining Wizard! Hollywood is struck so hard that he flips onto his stomach from the maneuver!
Chase: LIGHTS OUT!
Madison roars out into the booing crowd. He pulls Hollywood up and lies him across the table while a groggy and hurt Niobe begins to climb to the top turnbuckle.
Harvey: Niobe doesn’t have the strength to climb that ladder, but--
She leaps off for a Phantasm Horror Shooting Star Press, sending Brian Hollywood crashing through the table!
Chase: But the top rope is just as effective!
ELIMINATED: BRIAN HOLLYWOOD
Harvey: And now... And now Evan Envi is all alone.
Evan Envi sits in the corner, watching the three Black Hand members intently. Knox is back to his feet, as is Niobe. The three of them watch Envi, and for several moments, none of the four Megastars move an inch.
Harvey: This could be really... Really... Bad...
Chase: This is the worst thing that could possibly happen to Evan! Ha!
Envi looks between the three members and slowly pulls himself to his feet.
”EN-VI!”
”EN-VI!”
”EN-VI!”
Knox, Madison, and Martin all begin to slowly step closer toward Evan. Knox leads the pack from the center. Evan continues to stand in the corner, unmoving, until Knox is roughly three feet away-- and then Envi charges directly toward Knox, nailing a Somersault Neckbreaker! Knox rolls away and Envi springs to his feet, taking an oncoming Niobe Martin down with an Arm Drag! He holds onto her arm and delivers a stomp to the gut of the oncoming Chris Madison! Envi drops Niobe’s arm and hooks Madison for a Fisherman’s Suplex, dropping him down across the ribcage of Martin!
Harvey: And he’s still in this thing! Evan might have a chance! LOOK!
Jenny Knite positions the table set up on the outside of the ring so it is about two feet from the apron! She climbs up to the apron and pulls the top rope down as far as she can while Evan drags Niobe out from under Madison and pulls her up into a Gutwrench! With Jenny low-bridging the ropes, Envi is able to shakily make his way to the edge of the ring and drive Niobe down through the table with a Gutwrench Powerbomb! Niobe lies in the wreckage, unmoving, and the audience explodes into thunderous ovation!
ELIMINATED: NIOBE MARTIN
Chase: That’s not fair! Jenny Knite helped! She’s not even in this damned match!
Harvey: Jenny Knite just gained a tiny measure of revenge for the attacks over the past few weeks!
Evan Envi and Tommy Knox are back to exchanging blows in the center of the ring! Knox seems to gain the upperhand after a European Uppercut, but Envi fires back with a roundhouse kick to the temple out of nowhere! Knox falls to his knees-- and Envi blasts him with a Superkick to the jaw! Knox seems to be limp on the mat and the crowd roars as Jenny Knite retrieves yet another table from beneath the ring, beginning to set it up on the outside.
Harvey: And now Envi has his sights on Madison! I think he wants Knox alone in this match!
Jenny takes her position on the apron again, low-bridging the top rope! Envi brings Madison toward the “edge” of the ring and positions him for a Belly-to-Belly! Envi tries to launch him over the ropes through the table... But Madison grapevines Evan’s leck, preventing the Suplex! He launches Envi through the air and onto the mat with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex instead! Jenny drops down from the apron as Madison casts a look in her direction. Madison turns back toward Envi, striding toward him, but Envi pushes himself to his knees and swings at Madison with a steel chair!
…Madison jumps back, avoiding the shot by a few inches and charges forward, kicking the chair away from Envi! Still dripping with blood, Madison forces Envi to his feet and lifts him up across his shoulders, back-first-- then drops him with an Argentine Backbreaker! The crowd groans in sympathy and Envi slams a fist on the mat as a means of coping with the excruciating pain. Madison rises to his knees and on the other side of the ring, Tommy Knox stumbles to his feet as well. He falls against the ropes, taking deep breaths, before his eyes settle on the ladder. With a grin, Knox grabs the ladder and holds it like a spear. Madison lifts Envi up and throws Envi toward Knox-- and Knox charges forward, driving the ladder hard toward Envi’s skull. Envi tries to cover-up, but he’s still thrown backward, head-over-heels and to his stomach from the impact to the crowd’s-- and Jenny Knite’s-- dismay.
Chase: And it’s not lookin’ too good. Even with Niobe Martin out of the picture, the Black Hand is too strong. Knox took the League out of APW by himself-- and Envi thinks he’s gonna fare well in a two-on-one situation?
Harvey: We saw Envi admit this week that this was his first time being a target in his entire career. The Black Hand will not rest until Evan Envi is incapacitated.
Tommy Knox stomps at Evan, who doesn’t seem to be moving anymore. Madison goes outside, marching all the way up the ramp to grab another table from the top of the ramp. He drags it down toward the ring, while Knox locks Envi in a Chin Lock, making him watch as Madison slides into the ring and begins to set the table up in the corner. He then throws Envi face-first into the mat and signals to the crowd that it’s “over.”
Harvey: Evan Envi put up a good fight, but I think this one’s done!
Knox lifts Envi up into a Full Nelson and allows Madison to get four solid punches into his exposed ribcage. Envi falls to his knees, but Knox forces him up again, bringing him toward the table... But Envi brings his foot back, catching Knox with a Low Blow! The crowd roars and Knox groans, falling to his knees! Madison grabs Envi for the beginnings of a Muy Thai clinch, but Envi breaks through his hands and kicks Madison in the stomach! Envi shoots the ropes and returns, hitting Madison with a Wheelbarrow One-Handed Bulldog-- on top of the steel chair Envi dropped earlier!
Chase: That nose HAS to be shattered!
Harvey: I don’t even think Envi realized the chair was there!
Madison rolls out to the floor, clutching his nose again! Envi climbs to his feet, but he’s hit with a Big Boot to the side of the head by Knox! Knox stands tall over Envi-- but soon, Knox is blasted in the temple with the Overdrive Championship, by Jenny Knite!
Chase: Why hasn’t she been ejected yet?! Don’t gimme that “NO RULES” BS either!
Harvey: This is karma! Tommy Knox is finally getting a dose of his own medicine! Look at this!
Jenny Knite goes out to ringside and grabs the table, sliding it beneath the ropes. Envi takes pleasure in setting the table up, while giving Jenny strict directions that the cameras don’t pick up right away. Jenny looks confused at first, but she turns and picks up the ladder that Knox dropped earlier, setting it up! While Envi lies Knox across the table, Jenny ascends the ladder to a roar from the audience!
Harvey: Sweet revenge!
Jenny sits on the top of the ladder for a moment, looking down at Knox as Envi continues to hold him down across the table. With a deep breath, Jenny leaps from the top, crashing down through Knox with a Splash! The table explodes beneath Knox and he lies in the wreckage, completely limp.
ELIMINATED: TOMMY KNOX
Chase: No! NO!
Harvey: And now we’re down to two! Madison versus Envi!
Jenny Knite hands the Overdrive Championship to Evan Envi, and Envi stands above Knox with a broad grin on his face. He lifts the title high into the air to a roar from the capacity crowd.
Enough! STOP RIGHT THERE, MR. HARRISON!
The crowd boos, and a ”YOU SUCK!” chant immediately commences as General Manager, Alexander Duvall steps out onto the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand. He shakes his head, glaring down at the ring.
Duvall: I’ve had it! Alright? I have HAD IT with these antics! You were an unruly employee to begin with, but now you’re signed with a different company, holding MY Overdrive Championship, and your PERSONAL EMPLOYEE is here putting my Megastars through tables, ruining my main event match! You’re a nuisance! Put my title down!
This merely prompts Envi to lift the championship belt up again, showing it to different sections of the audience.
Duvall: You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into, Mr. Harrison! Put my championship down right now before I come in there and I put it down for you! And you know I bloody-well will!
Envi, with a laugh, makes his way back toward the ropes, inviting Duvall into the ring-- but Envi is hit from behind with a chunk of broken table by Tommy Knox! Envi falls to his knees and the belt drops to the outside. Knox drags Envi to the center of the ring and drops him with the Sativa Spike DDT! The crowd boos as Knox climbs to his feet. Jenny Knite drops to her knees, frantically checking on Envi. Knox stares at her, his hands on his hips. The crowd groans, fearing what’s coming next.
Harvey: Jenny... Get out of there...
Chase: She’s about to get what’s coming to her.
Alexander Duvall makes his way to the ring apron, raising the microphone to his lips and grinning up at Tommy Knox.
Duvall: Do it, Tommy.
This prompts Jenny to turn around, but Tommy Knox quickly drives a knee into her jaw to an overwhelming chorus of boos from the audience.
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
”FUCK YOU, TOMMY!”
While the censors scramble for a way to avoid the crowd’s chants, Tommy Knox drags Jenny Knite to her feet by her hair. He stairs at her for a few moments and then whispers something into her ear... Before launching her neck-and-shoulder first through the table set up in the corner. The crowd’s chants only deepen and Tommy Knox, without another word or thought, steps out of the ring through the ropes and saunters his way to the back.
Harvey: You’ve gotta be kidding me!
Chase: Jenny Knite’s in a heap! Tommy, wait, you forgot your belt! Ha.
Harvey: I can’t believe this!
Duvall looks at Jenny for a moment and then turns his attention to the fallen Envi.
Duvall: You two dug these graves for yourselves. And when you lose Tommy at Shockwave, Evan-- you’re BANNED from competition in Action Packed Wrestling forever!
Harvey: What?!
Chase: Whoa.
This triggers nothing but boos from the audience, who direct an ”ASSHOLE!” chant toward our General Manager.
‘Duvall: ...That means after Shockwave, we never have to see Evan Envi in APW again! YOU’RE DONE!
Members of the audience chuck food and trash at Knox as he gingerly makes his way up the ramp, through the curtains. Another medic has made his way to the ring, checking on Jenny Knite. Evan Envi climbs to his feet, looking at Jenny in horror. Alexander Duvall grins up at Envi from the outside. Envi stumbles toward the ropes-- but he’s grabbed from behind by Chris Madison and planted with a German Suplex! Envi rolls to the middle of the ring and gets to his feet again, but Madison sprints at him and takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press, followed by a half-dozen elbows to either side of the head! Madison screams into Envi’s face before he lifts him up and positions him for a Brainbuster-- but Envi lands on his feet behind him! Envi tries to lock Madison in a Cobra Clutch, but Madison reverses with a Snapmare! Envi climbs to his feet, and Madison positions him for a Powerbomb... Only to transition it into a Backstabber, bringing Envi hard across his knees!
Chase: Backiotomy!
Harvey: And Evan Envi’s back has taken so much punishment in this match! He’s not gonna be the same going into Shockwave against Knox!
Madison stands over Envi, and Madison’s face is nearly unrecognizable, hidden behind a crimson mask. He drops to his knees and rolls out of the ring. Madison reaches beneath the ring, retrieving another table. He sets it up on the outside of the ring and reaches inside, grabbing Evan by the arm. Madison pulls Envi close to the ropes. With Envi still in the ring, Madison then climbs up onto the apron himself, pulling Envi up to his knees by the hair. Madison then positions Envi for a Suplex!
Harvey: Envi’s gonna crash right through that table!
Envi stops himself from being lifted up and over the ropes, wrapping his feet around the bottom rope! Madison kicks at Envi’s legs until he releases and then he goes for a Suplex again, getting Envi over the ropes-- but Envi lands on the apron! Envi hits Madison with hard shots to the skull and then positions him for a Russian Leg Sweep!
Chase: This is it!
Madison blocks the Russian Leg Sweep, however! He hits Envi with an elbow to the jaw, and then pulls him from the apron by his tights! Envi goes flying down toward the table!
...But he lands on his feet, landing about an inch from the table!
Harvey: Madison almost won it!
Envi turns back to Madison and jumps up, hitting him with a shot to the kidneys! Madison groans in pain and Envi hooks Madison for a high angle Back Suplex and carries him off of the apron, earning a pop from the crowd! Envi backs up toward the table, but Madison kicks wildly, dropping out of Envi’s grasp, landing on his feet on the other side of the table!
Chase: Jesus...
Harvey: So many close calls!
Envi pushes the table at Madison, driving it into his ribs, pinning him against the barricade! Madison grunts in pain and Envi slides the table out of the way, throwing a roundhouse kick at Madison’s head-- but Madison ducks down and hits Envi with a Saito Suplex onto the barricade! Envi groans and drops to his knees, crawling across the floor by the barricade in agony. Madison delivers a punt to Evan’s ribs. Envi is curled up against the barricade in pain.
Duvall: Finish him! End it now, Chris!
Chris Madison shoots Duvall an annoyed look. Duvall takes a step back with a smirk, raising his hands in defense.
Duvall: I’m on your side.
Madison lifts Envi up and guides him toward the table. He positions Envi for a Powerbomb again-- but Envi rakes his eyes! Madison throws a hand over his face in pain and Envi falls backwards, against the table! Envi’s eyebrow perks as a “lightbulb” upstairs goes off. He positions the table, slanted against the barricade. He pulls Madison toward the table, but Madison fights back! Madison captures Envi in the Muy Thai Clinch and drives knees into sternum! Envi is dropped to his knees and Madison forces him up, a hand over his throat-- but the audience soon begins to scream!
Chase: What’s he doing back out here?!
Madison is suddenly hit from behind with a Clothesline by Jace Savage! The audience roars as Madison and Savage exchange fists at ringside, only for Savage to gain the upperhand with an elbow to the chin! Savage Irish Whips Madison face-first into the ring post! Madison hits the ground, motionless, and Savage yells “SEE YOU AT SHOCKWAVE!” before shoving past Alexander Duvall, making his way toward the back! Alexander Duvall watches Jace Savage leave with a look of pure shock on his face.
Harvey: What a message! Jace Savage just saved Evan Envi-- and I think he just issued a threat to Chris Madison!
Chase: That’s not fair!
Meanwhile, inside the ring, Jenny Knite, although moving groggily and in pain, has crawled toward the ladder and is sliding it out of the ring, calling for Evan Envi! Evan grabs the ladder from Jenny, holding it like a spear as Knox had earlier. Envi watches as Chris Madison begins to climb to his feet.
Chase: How much help is Envi gonna get?!
Harvey: It pays to have friends!
Chris Madison finally turns to face Evan Envi. Envi sprints at him, driving the ladder into his gut. Madison is driven backwards, and taken off of his feet, smashing through the table set up against the barricade!
ELIMINATED: CHRIS MADISON
The bell rings and Envi collapses to his knees, dropping the ladder as “Helter Skelter” hits the PA system.
Paige: And here are your winners... The team of Jace Savage, Brian Hollywood, and the APW Overdrive Champion, EVAANNNN ENNNVIIIIII!
Chase: No! That is CRAP!
Harvey: But it’s in the record books!
Chase: Jace Savage just SCREWED Chris Madison and the Black Hand!
Harvey: Jace Savage did what Jace Savage wanted to do!
Chase: NewGen Rising is gonna get dealt with once and for all, just like Evan Envi and Jenny Knite are gonna finally get dealt with!
Envi picks up the Overdrive Championship and climbs into the ring, helping Jenny Knite to her feet. He raises her hand in the air, earning another pop from the crowd. Envi begins to guide Jenny toward the ropes, but--
Duvall: CUT THE MUSIC! THIS IS NOT HOW WE’RE ENDING THIS! NO!
The crowd boos loudly as Alexander Duvall marches up the steel steps and climbs into the ring. He snatches the Overdrive Championship from Envi’s hands and shakes his head.
Duvall: You don’t GET to LEAVE with my championship again! You’ll lose at Shockwave, and when you do, the EVAN ENVI BAN is effective! You won’t be seen anywhere near anything sponsored by APW... You won’t be mentioned. Your merchandise will cease to exist. You’ll be erased from all continuity. EVAN ENVI WILL HAVE NEVER EXISTED IN ACTION PACKED WRESTLING!
Duvall rolls his eyes at the crowd as another ”YOU SUCK!” chant develops.
Duvall: And until then, I’m holding onto your Lady Overdrive. She belongs with me.
Duvall drops the microphone and turns away from Evan, ready to make his way through the ropes-- but Envi grabs him from behind in a Dragon Sleeper and twists, slamming him across the point of his knee for the Guess Who! Duvall twitches from pain from the maneuver and rolls out of the ring, dropping to the floor! Envi reaches down and picks up the Overdrive Championship... Lifting it high above his head to the delight of the crowd as “Helter Skelter” plays again!
Chase: He just dropped the boss with the Guess Who! What the hell!
Harvey: Duvall said it was HIS Overdrive Title. I guess Evan Envi disagreed!
The cameras pan around, showing the wreckage, broken tables, mangled chairs, and abandoned ladder, along with Chris Madison, who continues to lie in the broken wood and splinters, and Alexander Duvall, who lies in pain on the ground.
Envi and Jenny Knite sarcastically take a bow to the crowd before leaving the ring and making their way to the back.
