I found myself laying here staring up at the ceiling, the only light was coming from the open laptop laying next to me on the bed. I had a sheet laying over my otherwise bare flesh because the feeling of sleeping bare was the best feeling ever. Rolling onto my side I looked at the screen noticing another tweet from Lester and I couldn't help but to laugh. Was I trying to get him into trouble? No, not at all. Would I wind up getting him into trouble? Well... I guess only time would tell.
Beep Beep.
I had zoned out for a little while and not even noticed it until I heard my phone going off. Stretching across the bed after moving the laptop to the side, I lost the sheet that was covering my skin and my body shook from the chills that ran down my spine. I grabbed my phone before rolling onto my back once more and pulling the sheet over myself to block the air that was causing the goosebumps all over my body. I sighed softly as I stretched before taping my phone and seeing the text message from Lester. I should have been expecting it, after all, he did say he would text... but anyone can say something, doing it is a completely different thing.
His response caused a smirk to form across my face, and I bit down on my lower lip while thinking of a reply. Nothing was really coming to mind because he caught me off guard. The only thing I could logically do was keep my word and tell him my fantasy as well. Awkward moments was something I was not really worried about. Nothing could become awkward with Lester... not even with him having a fiance and all. It was probably a good thing he did have someone, otherwise I might get myself into a little trouble with him. I am only human after all, and I know a good looking man when I see one. Lester was one hell of a...
Beep Beep.
Once more my phone lit up and I glanced at it, licking my lip as I read the reply. Oh man. What the hell was I doing? It was one thing to think someone was rather handsome, and quite another once other thoughts started popping into my mind. It's fine, I could get past this. Then again... maybe I would never have to. I hadn't even noticed when my fingertips started trailing along my stomach over the sheet, but I didn't mind it either. There were plenty of thoughts going through my head, and all of them were rather satisfying. I could keep everything to myself, and who knew, maybe I wouldn't have to hide or pretend forever.
Beep Beep.
Again a message came through and I stopped to read and reply back. This time I placed my phone on the bed next to me after I was finished and shut down the laptop before closing it. I needed to rest. Tomorrow was a big day. Tomorrow night Lester would be facing CJ Gates, and I had to make sure that Lester wasn't going to just lay down and not fight to keep his title. Patricia might have wanted things one way, but I knew what Lester really wanted... and fighting for that title meant everything. Lester wasn't the type to just lay down, and I was going to make sure he didn't start now. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the pillow after turning it slightly so it was more at my side for me to cuddle with than anything else. Oh yes, lucky pillow. My alarm was set for early in the morning, and Lester was supposed to be meeting me. I had to make sure I was up. The last thing I needed was for him to wind up seeing me before I was ready.
August 25th 9:00am
I had woken up a little over a half hour ago, and after laying in bed for a little while, and waking up, I went and headed into the bathroom so I could get a relaxing shower. I stood there for a good half hour just letting the hot water spray against my skin before I had even started to wash up. I had to let it wash away my sins. After some time had passed, I heard a soft knock on the door. It was so light as if the one on the other side of the door was almost afraid to interrupt.
“It's opened.”
No sooner were those two little words spoken, I had company in the bathroom with me. Thankfully the curtain covered all. He had barely entered the bathroom before he spoke.
“You almost ready? You said you wanted to get an early start.”
“Yeah, I will be done shortly.” I called back while sticking my head out of the shower for a moment and looking over at Lester. “You all ready for tonight?”
I asked the question before going back into the confines of the shower once more, hiding behind the curtain if you will. I heard him move, as he entered the room more and when he spoke, it came from over by the toilet. He must have taken a seat to have the conversation. I was quite alright with that.
“I still have no idea what I plan to do.”
I understood him completely. To be an athlete, and be put in such a position to either give away everything you worked so hard for, or to lose the person you loved... that had to be hard. However, if someone loved you, wouldn't they want to see you continue to live out your dream? I made sure that Lester knew my view of the situation, but it wasn't my choice to make. It was Lester's. No matter what he decided, I would work with it because that's what friends did. We were a team, and if he wanted to just give in, I would throw away everything to make sure he did it.
I pushed the curtain aside just slightly, still hiding mostly behind it. “Pass me the towel please?” Lester got it for me with no problem, and stood up to hand it to me before turning his back while I wrapped it around my body before opening the curtain all the way and stepping out onto the towel I laid down before getting in the shower in the first place. “How about you give me a few minutes to get dressed, and then we can get a bite to eat before working it off?”
He didn't say anything. After staring a moment longer than he should have, Lester left the room and I couldn't help but to smile. I was evil at times, but I loved the things I did. Unlike most women, I was one of the few who only took a short amount of time to get myself together. I didn't need to primp and prime to make sure I looked good, for me it just came naturally. After putting on a pair of sweat shorts, and a tank top over my under garments I headed out of the bathroom and tossed on some socks and my sneakers before brushing my hair and heading into the other room where Lester was sitting zoned out.
“Lester... Lester!” It took me a moment to get his attention, but once I did we were all set to go. Sometimes I wondered what went on in other peoples minds, right now was one of those times but I let it go. It was the best thing to do.
August 25th 11:38am
“I know you have more than that in you.” Lester stated mocking me as we stepped into the ring after a short workout. “I have seen you in the ring before.” He was right, I did have more in me, but at the same time he had his own match tonight and the last thing I needed to do was put my all into it and have him not going into his match at one hundred percent. He must have known what I was thinking, because his next words said as much. “Don't worry about anything. Now, let's go. You wanted training, so give me everything you have.”
“Yeah yeah. Ever think I was trying not to hurt you?” She asked and squealed as he turned her around quickly before putting her in a hammer lock. “You sneaky bastard!” Kaylyn stated trying to fight him off but he was toying with her and she knew it. “Okay, you win. I'll take it seriously.”
“That's more like it.”
Lester stated as he released her wrist. He had that cocky arrogant smirk on his face and Kaylyn shook her head. Hey, she asked for this. Who better to get her prepared and more skilled in the sport than Lester? Kaylyn met him in the center of the ring and after losing a battle of strength she was whipped across the ring. Coming off the ropes she headed straight for him and ducked under his arm before bouncing off the other rope and heading back going for a cross body...
August 25th 11:27pm
The LeWinter sisters and Kaylyn had been living it up celebrating Level One's successful defending of the title. Kaylyn poured shots and handed them around, putting two in front of herself. One that was hers, and the other Lester's.
“Well Lester, I think with the way things are going, you could easily give Terry Marvin a run for his money with holding onto the title the longest. To Lester Only continuing to successfully defend the title.” Kaylyn drank her shot, before downing the other as the sister's drank with her. One shot was nothing right? As Kaylyn and the LeWinter sisters started to talk again she noticed that Level One walked away looking frustrated as he answered his phone. She knew what it was about, and who it was.
It took a little while before Lester returned to them and when he did Kaylyn wrapped her arm around his waist, and leaned into him whispering in his ear. After he nodded she let him go before speaking up. “Well ladies, it's been fun, but Lester and I have to head out for a while. Don't wait up for him.” Kaylyn laughed before heading towards the door with him. If looks could kill she would be dead right about now. If there was one thing the LeWinter sisters still didn't like it was her spending time alone with Lester.
After a short drive Kaylyn parked the truck before heading into a little diner with Lester. His mind was everywhere, and until she dealt with getting him focused, she herself wouldn't be able to focus. More than once his phone had rang and he excused himself to deal with it. When it rang again and he went to reach for his phone Kaylyn put her hand over his on the table. “Don't. Leave it go to voice mail?” Lester seemed to think about it for a moment before picking his phone up. Kaylyn sighed and shook her head only to see him turning his phone off instead of answering it causing her to smile. “Look, I know that you want to make her happy, but what about what you want Lester? You need to worry about you. I am going to make it my personal goal to make sure you get back on track here. Everyone is going to know it too. The Synndicate needs you Lester. We almost lost you over the past few months, don't let it happen again.”
August 26th 10:58am
I have had a lot of time to think over the last few weeks, and the last thing on my mind was my match. That might sound cocky, but it's the truth. This isn't to say at all that Shione Oshima is someone I am not worried about, because I am. What can I really say though? That's the only thing that has kept me from speaking up before now. I mean what can I really say to someone who has their head so far up their ass that they think their shit don't stink? The fan's might love you sweetheart, but that doesn't mean that I have too, and you had better remember that I don't.
The only thing you have seemed to realize so far is that you are going against The Perfect Ten. You must have been doing your homework regarding me and came across some of my old shoots too because you seemed to mention the fact that I am The Pussy of Perfection. I am going to go that route and think you have a little obsession with me rather than to think you were calling me a pussy... because after all that would be pretty bad for you Shione. I would explain why, but I think you're smart enough to figure it out.
I don't want you to underestimate me as we go into this match... because I am not someone who will be walked all over. Sure I have had my slip-ups here and there. It happens. My skill is not perfect, but it is getting there. You are merely another obstacle put in my path, and I will once more fight as best as I can and try to get through you. You can take what I do to heart or not, it doesn't really matter to me, but after the actions last night of one CJ Gates, I am pretty fumed and wanting to take it out on someone, and you're the one who was chosen. You should consider yourself honored to be getting the opportunity to be facing me in the ring. Who knows, our paths might cross again in the future as well.
I don't want to dwell on what isn't right now though. Instead I will emphasize what is. What has been. I am a former Suicidal Champion holder. Sure, you might think since I no longer hold the title I am not a threat, and I would love nothing more than for you to think as much. It would bring me great pleasure for you to think little of me, because then when I step into the ring and destroy you it will be your own fault. Like I said, I would prefer you to not underestimate me so that when I beat you I know you will have given it your best. I am hoping you do nothing more or less than your best. I want all your fire in the ring Shione, so when I extinguish it, I can put you in your place. I can let everyone know that even without the title around my waist I am still a force to be reckoned with. That title didn't make me... I made me. The title was just a pretty little strap around my waist, but even without it, I have plenty to make people fear me.
I am sure you're thinking the same thing heading into this match. Thinking you have the advantage since you have a good forty pounds on me, All it's going to do is slow you down though. I am quick in the ring. I have been known to catch people off guard with a roll up and shock the world by getting the win... I have ways to get the win even when the odds are not in my favor. However, I think they are very much in my favor at the moment. Sure you're coming off of some wins, while I have lost my last match, but I have many things going for me. I have a leader that believes in me. I have speed, agility, strength on my side.
I will not be made of as a joke. I have proved myself in the ring many a times, and I will continue to show everyone that I am someone who they should be worried about. I have made the best of the best fall to the canvas wondering what exactly happened. After some of the things I have been through, this here is nothing. You're nothing Shione. You're nothing more than someone they tossed into the ring against me to try and up my spirits after a loss to Raab. Honestly, it's not working. I would rather have the night off than to be sitting here knowing that hours from now I have to lace up and prepare to step into the ring in front of thousands, millions, of ignorant so called fans who have nothing better in life than to cheer or boo people who are actually doing something with their lives instead of sitting there doing nothing day in and day out.
I am not going out there tonight for the fans who can't make up their mind on who they like and hate day in and day out. I am going out there for me. For a paycheck. I am going out there to make a statement... and I am going to make sure it is heard loud and clear. Everyone might want to have their eyes on me.... I am full of surprises, and they are going to be coming back to back anymore. I would hate for any of these simpletons to miss it. That goes for you Shione, be ready.. because I am going to be coming at you full force, and you wont have a chance to stop me once I get started. Your best bet is to get me down and make sure I don't get up again, because if I do... you're done for.
I found myself laying here staring up at the ceiling, the only light was coming from the open laptop laying next to me on the bed.
