Word has come out that APW Megastar C.J. Gates was hospitalized Sunday night, following the APW Shockwave Pay-Per-View. Gates came up short against APW World Heavyweight champion Level One in what turned out to be a brutal match. Gates' head collided with the security barrier outside the ring which resulted in a deep gash to the back of his head (which was then closed with staples by Level One) as well as a possible concussion.
Gates was sent to hospital to receive treatment and tests for the aforementioned possible concussion. No word yet on his status for Overdrive.
