Reaver, Anthony Bailey, and 3 more like this

The sound of a wet, ripping fart jolts a sleeping Jason Kash awake as he sits back in a recliner. One of those old recliners with the handle on the side, nice vintage chair that belongs to his Mother. Wiping his nose with his arm he adjusts in the chair as an arm stretches across his body and he scratches his butt cheek.
"Boy you better wake up! It's 3 in the afternoon and you sleep? Get'ch your ass up out that chair 'fore I get the spoon boy!" His mother said as she comes into the living room in her "old woman" night gown and robe.
Slapping the arm of the chair, his Mother starts to speak up again and yell but Kash knows not to make her repeat things so HE speaks up cutting her off. "I'm up. I'm up! Okay.." The drain in his voice tells a tale of a late night doing good lord knows what. He sits up in the chair and wipes the sleep from his eyes.
Turning away from her sleeping son, Momma Cashe heads into the kitchen but she stops, turns enough to look back at her son. "You hungry? Want something to eat?" She sounded almost annoyed to even ask. Like he wanted the food she has been forcing him to eat AND finish. He felt right at home, like she had to still prove no matter the bad guy, bully, drug dealer, or Gangster he came across, SHE was still the scariest thing he could face.
"No I ate late last night. Thanks though Momma, you've spoiled me in food since I came home.." He says as he looks down at the weight he's packed on since being fired. He smiles knowing people still recognized him at Shockwave. That gave him the green light that maybe some weight would benefit him.
Shaking her head as stares at her son as if wondering where she went wrong. "Come to MY house and don't eat, look all crack head skinny. Now look at'cha HEALTHY! My Boy!" and some how it still sounds like an exaggerated praise. His momma loved her some sarcasm.
As he pushes up from the recliner, he bundles up the sheet he was wrapped up in and tosses it into the chair where he sat. He can feel the extra weight on his as he walks and he likes it. It's not fat slob but just a good chunky. He wasn't a stranger to having some weight, he was a thick kid growing up and fought to get down to 225. This felt more natural, 255 pounds as of last night. No sooner as he heads into the kitchen, Momma Cashe is standing there with concern in her eyes behind the glasses that almost magnify her eyes from his view. He can tell she wants to talk..
"Whats up Momma, whats on your mind?" He says as he pulls out a wooden chair at the table where he grew up eating all his meals at. His Mother almost snickers as she dries her hands on a napkin and steps over to the table and takes a seat.
She removes her glasses and places them on the surface of the table as she looks over and smiles at her son. Her only son, only child. "Listen my boy..You've gotta get back out there! It might feel like that girl took out your heart and stomped on it but I promise you that ain't true! Whole bunch of them hussy ass girls like that out there!" Kash was confused at her concern. He laughed almost having forgot about it altogether.
"Ha..Haha..Momma I'm not home cause of any female. I was fired? We've had this conversation Momma. I ain't tripping over that chick no more, couldn't have been love. I didn't even know she had a BROTHER! Hell she was an Orphan and I was clueless to that fact. How much did I care if I didn't know HER? Even as he finishes saying it, he could still feel a warmth over the thought of KJE. He tries to decode the look on his Mother's face. He sucked at reading her.
"You got fired? From a job..Fighting? Rassling? Whats wrong with you son?" She said as if everything else he had said meant little and maybe it did. He knew he could move on from KJE the second he got laid after being fired. That nurse was fucking HOT! He let the time spent with the nurse to take him elsewhere from thoughts of Kaylyn and he wasn't noticing his Mother's voice speaking to him. Her wisdom something he took two ways. Either it was meaningful and he took the advice or he felt she was far too old school to understand the situation. He held up a hand to stop her, hearing the rambling of a loving but strangely abusing Mother, everytime he looks at her he gets a shot of memories of times through out life when she was there. "Momma. Momma listen.."
The scratching squeak of his chair scooting back and moving closer to his Momma is heard as he reaches out and grabs her hands. He holds them both, in part so he doesn't get galloped if he says something wrong but also so he can show her he's serious in the following statement: "I love you. I was fired and I was crushed but look where I came too in that time of hurt? I came home. I have good people around me again Momma. You, Juan Ramirez, even that looney tune bastard, Reaver.. He says and she quickly jumps in with her own comment on that last mention. "That boy is creepy. Does he have a van and like children? You should watch him.."
He laughed. Of course he laughed, when his Momma makes a joke worth making it's just funny. Still, he goes on and finishes what he wanted to say to her. "What I'm saying though is that I'm fine. In fact, Jeff called me while you were at Bingo and told me to grab my hear and get a flight to Paris. I'm booked to compete for Overdrive.."
Watching her eyes widen as the words leave his mouth, it was great. Her mouth breaks open just slightly as if she was gasping for air but it was just an added expression of her surprise. "Overdrive? You is an Asylum talent! What they thinkin?" She says as her expression goes back to still being a bit shocked.
Standing to his feet, Kash leans over and grabs his Momma's head at both sides and pulls it forward and kisses her on the forehead. As he pulls back, his final words to her ring out. "I'll be fine Momma. The Influence is Back! I can feel it.."
"Thanks for meeting me here man, I needed to train more before heading to Paris for the next show. What's your name again?" Kash says as he hops down from the ring inside of Juan Ramirez's "Golden Boy" Gym. After grabbing a small pouch at ringside, he extends a hand towards the curly fro'ed guy standing there wearing shades inside the building.
The two shake hands as Kash wipes off some sweat from his forehead. "I'm Eric Dudley. Friends call me "Dudley The Dude" He says with a grin across his face like he expects to be friends immediately. Kash bites his bottom lip as the two let go of the hand shake. "Well friends come with Loyalty and that remains to be seen for you but we'll give you that chance. You ready to record?" He says as he signals to the camera man to hand over the camera.
"You. Give Dudley here the camera and get out..APW should know I have hired my own camera man slash assistant. Now Begone!" Kash says that last part in his best Elvis voice as the default cameraman hands over the camera and Dudley goes out of the scene and behind the recording. "Got it? Ready? Let's go outside.." He says as the camera now follows him as he heads to the main doors.
A blinding flash of light from the sun pours into the building as the doors open and Kash steps outside. He heads to the side of the building and walks back towards the dumpsters. The building next door to the gym has Graffiti covering it's side wall. Loose garbage scattered on the concreted grounds. Kash pulls out a joint from a small pouch he brought from inside and sparks up. This is his time, call it "Smoked Out By: JKash".
"Yeah..This feels right. Coming back to APW after two weeks, two HARD weeks of being a Free Agent. I had offers, plenty but all of them sat there ignored. See I'm an APW guy through and through, I don't play to be otherwise or go play in other promotions and put down work for them regardless. I've been that for the time I've been in APW and I tried to be something better by being at a lighter weight. NOW..Now I stand here bigger, chunky and comfortable in my own skin for the first time in years! I quit eating good food! Quit enjoying the small things like French Fries, Corn Breed, and Southern Greens to be in the best shape I could be but what did that give back to me? The World Title? Half of my Championship reigns?
I could have done that at this weight. No, what being small gave me was injuries I had to fight through but the second I added some weight to this body I felt less pain from the injured ribs. I have more cushing to push so I want to be pushed. I AM being pushed, in this gym, in my mind not the be the best shape I can be but the best competitor I can be while being comfortable and homie I am comfortable!! For the first time I have training to make my skill inside the ring more crisp, more complete. So if that's the case then you can all bet the house that "The Influence" Has Returned!"
Puffing on the joint, Kash flicks the ashes from it's tip before blowing out a cloud. He continues..
"I didn't expect Overdrive. I've been an Asylum guy since I first tasted once of it's shows. I've loved that Brand, that pipeline for Action, that drug of my addiction for four years now! So being on Overdrive is a new challenge, a new take on my addiction because I've yet to have many fixes from Overdrive and my craving for Action? It's grown and is bubbling at the surface ready to explode! So Havok..Nathaniel...What is going to happen when I turn Overdrive into an Overdose and you're the one suffering and experiencing that outcome? We ain't strangers are we buddy? No, no, for those that don't know and lived under a rock last year, it was Nathaniel Havok who became a life time rival when he took my World Title from me at Christmas Chaos AFTER I defended it in a Triple Threat.
You Shady BITCH!
Havok. You throughout your career have played various roles. From weak to trying and you've failed at every roles as well. Let's look at your history. "Cult Of Personality" was such a "hit" wasn't it? The League was kind of worse even still. You have a history of shady victories but bigger losses and you've made a career from it. Yet somehow you still think you can surprise people? Haha. With Valo and now as a Mystery Opponent for some guy who has a history OUTSIDE of APW but puts his career on the line when he signs with APW. Yeah, HUGE for your career but yet it will be one of FEW times you do anything people remember. How many times did you speak my name during your "Rise" with The League? How many times did anyone give a shit? How many times did I do anything about it other than tweeting about it, not because I couldn't but because I too, like so MANY didn't fucking care! You try and try and yet what have you to show for your attempts at success? A world title you chicken shittingly took from me? Yet even then what happened at the Survive & Conquer PPV in our OFFICIAL match for the title? I beat that ass..Remember that?"
Coughing as he takes another big inhale of the green gets him feeling real good and relaxed. Being high is a head change most the time but GOOD weed can do amazing things and this wasn't shit weed, he'd throw shit weed out the window. Another inhale and he's back to talking as smoke flows from his lips as the words leave his mouth.
"William Butler Yeats says: "The worst are full of passionate intensity" and Havok you might show intensity but you have crashed hard into the canvas like you took a 5-Hour Energy Shot and felt drained after it's effects wore off. Where as I have BEEN a Sly Genius at Disorder, a Prince of Chaos! (And Posting!) but NOW you come back and suddenly you're gonna be different than ALL those other times? I thought that "Charmed" look worked wonders, it had me laughing! Look there is NOTHING for you to reclaim unless you're going to run around cheaply defeating people after they bust their asses defending a title you never earned a shot to begin with! Are you going to reclaim your Xtreme Title? One you had a lengthily reign with but who was your competition? It's either Overdrive or Undisputed/World Title on Overdrive and it's only different now because AC Smith made that Title important. That's what you MUST want to reclaim because the World Title? Srrious?"
He laughs as he in hales a deep in take of marijuana and begins to cough from laughing. He hacks up and spits to the side as he straightens up again and hits the joint again before getting serious and speaking.
"You see for Pennies I'm Wise, call me having the "IT" of Professional Wrestling! Though Many will rise, they all float against me. I've done it all and I did it on my terms. I've competed, won, and lost to some of the best talent in this business. Michael Callahan, AJP, Sally Talfourd, Anthony Bailey and even CJ Gates but on that list you're name will never be Havok. You will try and try again to climb into the record books with your cults, leagues and new ideas that change who you are as a man. How you dress, how you express yourself and most people have changes. But in that ring with me, you will always be my bitch. I can't wait for the fat jokes..."
Slapping his belly with one hand as his back arches to push his gut forward, making it look bigger in the camera view.
"Look at me, gained some weight but see I've gone back to what I weighed when I first stepped into this business 10 or so years ago. I'm in a comfortable, natural weight for me. You were scared a year ago, did everything you could to stay out of the ring with me. So much so our match for the title ended up being a Dog Collar match. You might play to being a little crazy, might think you can make that slam dunk this time around but I see right through you. I expect a fight, a battle but I see, I KNOW in the end...I'll have MY HAND RAISED as you lay with your back to the canvas..
I could half ass the remainder of my career and have a better career than you've had thus far. Here let me help you out Havok. Go into your old claims of how I'm all up into politics, how I some how have Jeff in my pocket or Reginald when he was in charge of Asylum. Or how about how somehow it was my fault that people up and leave this promotion? How does that work? I've been fired, I've been suspended before you went and copied ME in coming back after suspension. I just didn't need to pretend to go somewhere else after a bitch fit thrown backstage in front of the WORLD to see. You have drama like a Valley chick, you just cover it up with good makeup and bullshit smiles. That's your truth but I accept mine just the same."
He sucked in a heavy hit off the joint and sighed releasing the smoke. Under that long stretch of an exhale the word came out. "Kaylyn" and he could feel that now was the time to address that for anyone wondering, before someone like Havok could try and use it against him.
"I was wrecked by a female who I've been back and forth with a hundred times over..It was lust. I mean look at KJE and if you're a straight man OR woman who's a little curious then try to lie and say you wouldn't wanna smell it? Lust is a great drug, an AWESOME addiction to have but it can also hit you like a boulder to the head. What I learned from that stretch of time is that we didn't even try to get to know each other. It was sex, it was the smell of things that drove us. Getting on her nerves, being stupid and playing at all times of the day. It's over, done. I hope Level One has it etched in his head that when he kisses her and WE ALL SEE THAT COMING that the question of what of mine was last on those lips plays over and over...Heh.."
"That's kind of gross.." Says Dudley "The Dude" who Kash didn't realize spoke out of place and possibly risk his job. He didn't mind, found his disgust even a tad funny. "Foul. It's Foul boy, not gross. See I'm not going to cover shit up, I don't do PG ratings. I am NOT a role model but at the same time I'm a funny guy if you like that kind of humor!" His respond signals a glare from Dudley that follows a small laugh from the new camera guy. Kash grins and looks in the direction of the street before his voice is heard once again.
"See Havok, that might SEEM like a weakness to you or others. Me losing my shit over a piece of ass but when you put into credit the piece in observation...It was something alot of people have to just think about having. You could NEVER land that! What else is there to use against me Havok? What else would you try and pick me apart with? How about Foul Play? How about my partner, Reaver? You can call him every name in the book from Loser to failure but one thing you can't say about him is that every single time he comes full speed and head down to fight. He has more HEART than anyone on the APW roster because he doesn't think about the losses, he pushes to grow in his skill. He just took a big piece of The Black Hand right out under their nose! Something the League didn't do because The Black Hand took the League to school and buried them. You have never been good with friends Nathaniel...Even Chaz...Even your once protege turned on you because he seen the loser, the waste of fucking time you are and have been throughout your career!
He was a bitch too though so..
Heh. Remember when you and Sally Talfourd (Hi, Sally) joined forces and thought nobody could stop you? Then you hit that wall that was created and carried by ME? We've had a long history Havok. You've tried time and time again to shit on something I have or am doing. Now you will have to make your return on the night I make mine, as my opponent a day before my 29th Birthday you will be returning to another defeat at the hands of "The Influence". At the very hands that will stay raised above you in your dreams as I become a name that forever haunts you. Nathaniel...You can come to that ring and throw everything you think you have to throw at me. I hope you do because in that moment when I can see it in your eyes that you've given up...When in your eyes I see the will, the fight leave you...I will fill your whole being with disappointment. You will realize that you weren't enough. Not this time, not any time before now. This is MY time once again and be it Overdrive or Asylum, I'm APW and you won't take my return as your glory!
We're gonna be in the CITY OF LOVE and I'm going to do the very thing I LOVE in life. Fight, compete, step inside the ring and inject myself with Action until I'm soaring High like Hawk living in Hightown. You like Magic and the fans want Action just like I crave it and we will give them bundles of it. Maybe you will find something this time around Havok, maybe you will find the droids you are looking for so-to-speak but I'm going to hurt you. Not because I hate you because I don't but I will hurt you because I have desired, craved, hungered for Action. I've trained hard for this return, to APW, to the ring...You Poor Soul, I pity you because you want the career I have and just can't accomplish that. You will try, you will cry, you will find yourself beaten by Influence. Why?"
Flicking the small "roach" end of the joint, Kash pushes away from the wall and begins to head back towards the front of the "Golden Boy" gym. The camera follows closely as Kash begins to sing a song..
"Oh sweet baby jesus, please quit singing you hillbilly!" To Kash's surprise as he stops singing, Juan Ramirez is leaning up against the building our front. He has a water bottle in hand and looks to be taking a break. Kash heads over to him. "Whats up man, sorry I was umm..Yeah, I was getting sparked up and singing! Had some shit to get off my chest. Overdrive." Even as he was explaining it, Ramirez nodded tired and worked from the day's training sessions.
Taking a swig of his bottle, Ramirez swallows it down hard before gasping for air as he spoke out. "What was that you were singing anyways?" The question didn't surprise Kash, not too many folks had heard the song. He answers but not in the way Ramirez had asked. "It represents all of who I have been missing. It's the natural me, the me that survives regardless...I've got a flight to catch man. I'll be back this way after Par-ree! Ha-Ha!" He lets out the words with a smile on his face.
"Well you have fun! I'll tell you homie, I didn't expect you to last around here. You've been a great addition to this Gym. Thanks." His hand extends as the words finalize from his mouth and Kash looks half surprised but mostly appreciative of the praise. He firmly shakes Juan's hand. "No Thank You man..I feel..Ready to Influence again!" As he finishes he pats Ramirez on the shoulder with his free hand that also contains his pouch. "Take it easy.." He says and nods before turning around and breaking into a jog as he heads to his 2nd Apartment nearby so he can get ready to fly to Paris for his return..
"I'm up. I'm up! Okay.." He laughs as he in hales a deep in take of marijuana and begins to cough from laughing.
"I've been up
And I've been down.
And I've been beat
And pushed around
I'll pick myself up off the ground,
Just wait and see.
Cause it's just another thing to me.
Just another bridge I'll have to burn.
Just another lesson I'm bound to learn.
Buddy ain't damn thing changin' me.
So watch and see,
Cause it's just another thing to me."
And I've been down.
And I've been beat
And pushed around
I'll pick myself up off the ground,
Just wait and see.
Cause it's just another thing to me.
Just another bridge I'll have to burn.
Just another lesson I'm bound to learn.
Buddy ain't damn thing changin' me.
So watch and see,
Cause it's just another thing to me."
