Tuesday:
::The Meltdown Supershow has ended. Inside the arena the ring, stage and set are being pulled down and equipment is being packed away. Outside the arena, fans have gathered to see any of the APW Megastars who are leaving for home or wherever they have to be at.::
::There is a burst of cheers as “the Hong Kong Sensation” Amy Zing walks out of the arena. In her hand is her travel bag, being dragged behind her, and over her shoulder is her newly won North American Championship. Amy stops and turns to the crowd. With a smile on her face, she slides the title off her shoulder and holds it up. A few cameras flash as she poses with the title.::

Wednesday:
::Amy steps through the metal detector at the airport. She glances at the x-ray machine as her bag slides through. She looks a little nervous. The technician notices this, then sees the North American Championship in the bag and smiles a bit. Amy tries not to look embarrassed by her reaction.::
::Before she puts her shoes on or puts anything back into her pocket, she opens her travel bag to see if the title is still there. Sighing in relief, she closes her bag and heads off to catch her flight.::
::She is early for her flight, so she takes a seat, with her bag resting on her lap. This however leads to her posing with the title for a few photos with fans and a few airport personnel, as well as signing a few autographs.::
::However, soon her flight is called and she quickly has to board the plane.::

Thursday:
::Having finally arrived back home in San Francisco, and having acquired her bags, “the Hong Kong Sensation” approaches her car, a grayish silver 2009 Ford Taurus. She unlocks the car and opens the back, sliding her bags inside. From her travel bag, she pulls the North American Championship looking at it again, as if to make sure it is still in the bag and wasn’t stolen during the flight or that she grabbed the wrong bag.::
::After about half an hour of driving, Amy Zing arrives at her apartment building. She opens the door and pulls her bags out. She shoulders her travel bag and drags her suitcase behind her. She enters her apartment, checking her mail, then heading into the elevator to her floor.::
::The elevator door opens and Amy steps out. She walks to her apartment and unlocks the door. As soon as she opens it, there is a yelling of “Surprise!” and cheers as it appears Amy’s family and friends are throwing her a surprise party in celebration of her winning the North American Championship.
“What the…”
::Releasing her suitcase, she claps her hands over her mouth.::
“Oh you guys! You shouldn’t have.”
::Amy is trying hard not to cry, but she is obviously emotional at the moment as she hugs her parents and brother.::

Friday:
::When she agreed to speak at her old grade school in San Francisco, she did not expect to be doing it as the North American Champion and yet, here she is with the title belt around her waist, dressed in a black DARE t-shirt and pants, pacing a little. She is one of several former alumni who have come back to speak about how staying in school and avoiding drugs is the way to succeed as part of a DARE function.::
::The principal tells her it is time for her to speak. She nods and walks out to cheering children. She takes the title off her waist and holds it up for them to see. Amy smiles a bit as she sees a lot of cheering kids.::
::She takes the mic off the podium as she shoulders the title.::
“Good morning. How are you all doing?”
::She looks over the kids and then holds up the championship.::
“This took me a very long time to get. It took hard work, dedication and determination.”
::She shoulders the title again.::
“There are a lot of temptations out there and peer pressure. In wrestling, it is there as well. We get a lot of temptation. There really is, and I have seen a lot of people give into that temptation and ruin their careers. Everything I have earned, everything I have done, I did it drug free and you can to.”
::The children clap for her.::
“Each of you can take the pledge to stay away from drugs, but that can be easier said than done. Anyone can make a pledge, but it takes strength, dedication and determination to see it through. Follow your heart, listen to yourself and what you think is right, and you can achieve anything you dream you can.”

Saturday:
::At the APW corporate headquarters, Amy Zing is dressed in her wrestling gear with the North American Championship over her shoulder. Behind her is a simple grey backdrop. A cameraman snaps a few shots of her. She takes the title off her shoulder and folds the straps in, cradling the title.::
::She has been here for several hours, having arrived hours early and getting in a quick work out and a meeting with marketing over some new merchandise, mostly t-shirts and a hat. She was thrilled to be getting her first APW action figure as part of the new Overdrive line. Then she had to do some recording for one of APW’s upcoming DVDs.::
::Now she is posing for her first photo shot as a champion. As the camera clicks, Amy shifts position, turning to her other side and holding the title in her arms. She then shifts again, holding the title up, letting one of the straps down.::
::After about two hours, the photo shoot is finished and she is changed out of her wrestling gear and into a simple dress and shoes with her gear in a travel bag and the title over her shoulder, she heads to a waiting car. Closing the door behind her, the car is to take her to her hotel to get her stuff and then head to the airport.::
::As she sits in the car, and places the title on the seat, she digs her cellphone and places a call.::
“Hi Mom. Yeah, I’m just getting out now. No, I have to go to Paris. I know! I would love to see the city, I really would. Yeah, I am not sure how much of Europe I am going to see. Well we will have to go through Europe, just because have One Night in Hell in Tokyo, Japan. Yeah, I would assume we are going through China to get to Japan. No, I doubt we will be in North Korea. I think that may be illegal. South Korea is acceptable though. Yeah, I would love to be on the One Night at Hell card, it’s my one year anniversary in APW.”
::Amy glances at the North American Championship, placing her hand on the belt’s gold plate, which now bares her name.::
“Well I would hope to be defending the championship. Personally, I am hoping to keep it to then, but we will wait and see.”
::Distracted, Amy misses the question from her mother.::
“Hmmm?”
::She looks away from the championship to focus on the conversation at hand.::
“Oh, who am I wrestling this week? I was a bit shocked, but I am wrestling Kaylyn James Evans. I know, right? Well I am thrilled. Well, she’s on the Asylum roster, but I don’t know, maybe Duval invited her. I heard a few of the guys weren’t able to make it. Well I can’t really call you when I land in Paris. Well maybe. I think it will be like 14 hours ahead or something. I don’t really know. Okay, I’ll call. Bye Mom.”
::Amy hangs up and leans back in the seat. She glances out the window as the view goes by.::

Monday:
::The new North American Champion has been in the city since late evening on Saturday and slept late on Sunday, trying to get over the jetlag. She spent that day seeing the various sites of the city, the Louvre, one of the finest museums in the world, the Arc de Triomphe, which was built by Napoleon Bonaparte after a series of military victories, the Bastille, the infamous prison, the siege of which is considered the start of the French Revolution, and of course, one of the most famous cathedrals in the world, Norte Dame. Now she sits in 331 ft above the city in Le 58 tour Eiffel, a restaurant on the first floor of the what has become the iconic cultural symbol of Paris and France itself, one of Paris’s tallest structures, the Eiffel Tower.::
::Night has begun to fall over the “the City of Lights”, viewed as the most romantic city on Earth, as well as a center of fashion, cuisine and art. The lights of the city have come on, illuminating the city. The view of the city from this globally recognized iconic structure is amazing even as night has descended.::
::As one of the few APW Megastars to come to Paris for Thursday Night Overdrive, Amy has spent today doing various media appearances and interviews to promote the show in “the City of Love”. She is wearing a nice low cut top and pants, and is managing not to look like she spent over half a day on a plane, arriving late with little sleep. She slides her finger over a half full glass of water, having finished dinner after a day in the city.::
::She turns from the view of the city, looking at the glass as the waiter steps to the table with her credit card. Amy smiles and thanks him, taking the card back and slipping it into a small black purse.::
::Getting to her feet, Amy exits the restaurant and walks to the edge of the deck, looking at the city. The moon is bright and the stars not drowned out by the light of the city are bright. A breeze flows through her long hair::
::She takes the elevator down to the ground and begins to walk. She strolls along the river. Cars drive down the street along the Seine. People mill about, walking around the city.::
“I know it may sound strange or even funny, but there is a part of me that still doesn’t feel like this entire week, my first week as a champion, has actually really happened. It almost feels like this is all some sort of dream and I am going to wake up and it will be Wednesday morning and Robina will still be North American Champion and I will have lost yet another championship match. But yet, here I am, the APW North American Champion. It finally happened. After so many attempts, so many tries, it finally happened and I won a championship. I have spent so long as a challenger that I am really not really sure how to even deal with the fact that I have a title belt now. I keep wondering if I really deserve it. I mean I know I earned it, because that match with Robina was just an all out war, like every match I have had with Robina has been. But still I wonder, with my win/lose record, if I deserve to be a champion. I have always believed I have what it takes to win a title, but now that I have finally won one, I have to prove I really do deserve it. I find myself opening my bag after every flight, checking that it is still there, making sure that it wasn’t a dream or that I have somehow accidentally lost it. I mean I know I am going to lose it eventually because someone is going to beat me for the title sooner or later, although I would rather it be later.”
::“The Hong Kong Sensation” stops talking, realizing that she is rambling and that it is a rather embarrassing ramble at that. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. She exhales slowly and opens her eyes. Amy tries not to look embarrassed.::
“I doubt that you have ever felt like that Kaylyn. No, I doubt you have. You have always been confident, always been very good at what you do. No one is shocked when you win a title, no one considers those wins unlikely or calls any victory you have an upset. It is quite the opposite actually, because people consider some of your losses to be upsets or shocking. You just know how to win and how to be a champion.”
“When I first joined American Championship Wrestling, you had already won the Women’s Championship I think twice, and one of those reigns was, I think, the second longest reign in the company. By the time I got there, you were already established as one of the greatest Women’s Champions in ACW history.”
“Even here, in Action Packed Wrestling, it didn’t take you long to win a championship. We both joined the company at the same time and it was like as soon as you were drafted to Sunday Night Asylum, you became a champion by winning the Suicidal Championship. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be able to win another title here in APW by the end of the year.”
::A breeze blows through her hair as she walks down the river. Boats still flow down the river that has been Paris’s lifeline for these long centuries. Many of these boats contain tourists and locals, seeing the cites or on dates.::
“However, this match is not about a championship. Actually, I have no idea what this match is about as you are on Asylum and this is Overdrive. Not that I hugely mind, but it does seem odd. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. Then again, I really have no idea why a lot of the roster did not want to come to Paris. I have never wrestled in this city or even been here before, so it is exciting.”
::Amy brushes the hair from her face and stops walking, looking up at the moon over the ancient city.::
“This match has been a long time coming Kaylyn. The only time we ever wrestled a one-on-one match, I somehow managed to pull off an upset victory. And lets be honest, it was an upset. I don’t think anyone actually thought I could pull it off.”
“But our rematch has been a long time coming. And it is kind of personal to me Kaylyn. Two times you cost me the North American Champion. Now I cannot put the entire blame on you, but you were definitely a factor in those matches.”
::She lowers her head and continues walking.::
“Really never found out why you did it either time. The first time, I assumed, was mostly due to your issues with Logan Alexander. The second time, when I attempted to beat Young Mannie inside the cage, you interfered again. It cost me the title and a chance at getting some payback. I am pretty much under the impression Sienna was behind it, because you never struck me as a subtle person.”
::“The Hong Kong Sensation” shakes her head.::
“No, you are not subtle. If your reasons were personal, you’ve have hit that ring and just KJE bombed me through it. So, I keep wondering why you interfered in those matches. I mean, we wrestled only one time, and it never seemed like you had a huge issue with me after. I doubt you would really have waited something like two years to get any payback for one lose that really did nothing to derail you or was even that devastating to your career. Even I admit it was an upset. So, why did you inject yourself in those matches? I would blame Sienna because I really doubt it was for Young Mannie. Maybe it was just your need to prove yourself “the Girl You Love to Hate”.”
::Amy shrugs a bit as she keeps walking. A young couple passes by her, probably newlyweds on their honeymoon given that they are sort of cuddling as they walk. Amy smiles a bit, then shakes her head, trying to regain her focus.::
“I really do not mind you costing me the championship those two times. The first match just seemed to happen. That second match was my chance at revenge. I did not care about winning the North American Championship that night. I was all about getting in that ring and kicking Mannie’s head off. You cost me that.”
::Absentmindedly, Amy runs her hand over her waist, like she is touching a championship belt about her waist. She looks down at her hand and stops doing that.::
“This summer has almost seemed to me to be me getting a chance to right past wrongs or at least, settle unfinished business. A few months ago, I proved to the world, that without his entourage or Sienna Harrison protecting him, I could beat Young Mannie when I nearly took his head off. Last week, I broke the tie I have with Robina Hood and in the process I did what I always thought I could do, what all my friends, family and fans wanted to see me do and none of my critics thought I could by becoming a champion. Who knows, maybe sometime soon I can get another match with Aubrey J Parker and actually beat her.”
::Amy smiles and shrugs.::
“However, now I have a chance to get back into the ring with you Kaylyn and prove that my victory two years ago was not a fluke, but that I can actually beat you. I mean yes, Kaylyn, it is kind of personal due to your interfering in those matches, but I made peace with that a long time ago and I can forgive it. It’s fine.”
::Amy turns and begins to walk across the Pont Mirabeau, one of the 37 bridges that spans the river within the French capital city’s limits. The statues of the Ville of Paris, Navigation, Abundance and Commerce are built along the bridge and the arms of Paris have been built on the back of each pile on the bridge. She starts to walk across the bridge. A few boats flow down the river. People walk down the bridge.::
“This match is not about those things. This is about us, Kaylyn, getting back into the ring and seeing which one of us is better for one night only. Will it be me again, proving my victory was not a fluke? Or will you make your visit to Thursday Night Overdrive as dominant as you can?”
::She stops walking and moves to the edge of the bridge, looking at the moon and light reflected in the dark water of the Seine.::
“Kaylyn, I consider it an honor that I get to be your opponent for your first, and probably only, Thursday Night Overdrive match. This is the first match I have had since becoming North American Champion, my first match ever as a champion, and it is the first time I have ever wrestled in Paris, so they are getting a show. I have to prove to myself and everyone that I truly deserve to be a champion in Action Packed Wrestling. At Thursday Night Overdrive, I am going to give these people everything I have.”
::The new North American Champion looks up the night sky.::
“Here, in Paris, I am going to that ring to kick your head off and show you, myself, the fans I have here in Paris and all over the world and everyone who said I would never be a champion that I am simply Amy Zing.”
::Smiling, “The Hong Kong Sensation” lowers her head and looks over the river.::
“Kaylyn, I would wish you luck, but you have never been one to need it.”
::With that, the APW North American Champion, “the Hong Kong Sensation” Amy Zing turns from the river and starts to continue her walk down the Pont Mirabeau.::
::The Meltdown Supershow has ended. Inside the arena the ring, stage and set are being pulled down and equipment is being packed away. Outside the arena, fans have gathered to see any of the APW Megastars who are leaving for home or wherever they have to be at.::
::There is a burst of cheers as “the Hong Kong Sensation” Amy Zing walks out of the arena. With a smile on her face, she slides the title off her shoulder and holds it up. A few cameras flash as she poses with the title.::
