For those who may have missed it, a new independent wrestling promotion has sprouted up and implanted its roots in Canada. The new promotion, Canadian-X Pro, is owned and ran by Angelo Valour from UWL and his brother Travis. Over the last month and a half they hosted four shows through out Canada which had been dubbed the Canadaian Tour Tournament with the purpose of crowning the companies inaugural Heavyweight Champion.
On September 2nd, 2013 in Ottawa, APW Megastar and a founding member of the Black Hand choked Indy sensation, "Superb" Dick Fury, unconscious to solidify his name in the record books as the first ever CXP Heavyweight Champion!
