Upon finishing his match, Leon Roberts was checked out my the medical staff and was escorted to the hospital. Turns out that during his match, he had opened up a stab wound that he got a few weeks ago.
While he insisted no help was needed, he was sent in for an emergency surgery to keep to much blood from coming out, and to prevent possible infection. We spoke with his Wife, Demonica Roberts, on this situation.
Demonica: I'm a bit surprised the wound didn't open up sooner. The doctors did perform the surgery, and were successful. He was told to take it easy for at least a week, and check in before competing again. I'm glad it's now, and not later, because there could have been much worse muscle damage. Not good for us.
When questioned what she meant,she didn't say much, except a sly smirk. We believe she's referring to their love life. We hope Leon makes a quick recovery and returns to the ring sooner then later. He is rumored to have a big match planned for APW's next pay per view, One night in Hell, likely a rematch from Shockwave.
