It was already more than week ago; since 'The Main Attraction' Young Mannie had finally cemented his name as a impact player in APW, but even more so within the industry as a whole. So after such a hard fought battle; which had many saying it was a 'Instant Classic', Mannie felt a bit discouraged, but why should be? He gave the best performance of his career that night, and he should be satisfied...But knowing Mannie; just being content without any title to show for it his efforts, is never enough!
So it makes you wonder, where does Mannie goes from here? Possibly a rematch with Terry? Or maybe a long awaited confrontation with Sally Talfourd? Honestly who knows? But I'm pretty sure that we won't have to wait too long to find out, what's next for Mannie and who...
The scene opens from a top of The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore; the location just so happens to also be the site of the next Asylum taping, where 'The Main Attraction' will be in action in a match up that is sure to special. Now the match itself is nothing to special, as it has traditional tag team rules. However Mannie finds himself this Sunday standing across; the second generation duo of Sang Real, Gabriel Krown & Conner Murphy. Now I know what you're thinking...Sang Real, what the hell is so special about Sang Real? Hmm let's think about that shall we...That's right I know, there is absolutely nothing about that's special. Thus obviously what was so special about the match; had to be none other than, the in-ring return of former RSM member Diamante Valentine. So who knows with all of these recent events, what 'The Main Attraction' is thinking? Well I don't know about you, but I'm ready to find out...
So as we now zoom back on the roof; we can now see 'The Main Attraction' Young Mannie & 'The Definition of Beauty' Jacinta Perez, sitting side by side at a short rectangular shaped table. The table has two desktop boom mics, a pair of Mannie's #MAEra dark-orchid colored Adidas Freemonts, and two bottles of Ciroc to boot. The couple already seem to be in deep conversation, until Mannie decided to begin the show.
We're rolling!
Mannie: Hello ladies and gents; I would like to you all for tuning into the very first edition of my new podcast series. Now don't worry people, I will still be filming the normal Vlog as well; but I had felt the need to bring a bit of variety to the show. So from time to time, I will being doing these podcasts. Thus I will be talking about what's going with me & my camp. So with all that being said, let's have it shall we. (Turning towards Jacinta) Okay baby, lay it on me.
Jacinta: Sure Papi! (Filing some papers) Okay people, so this week's topics will include; Your title match with (Sighing) APW Undisputed Champion Terry Marvin from the last show, You're next appearances along with my ventures, and what's next for The MA Era?
Mannie: Well before we begin; I would like say something to you baby on-air, I would like to thank you so much, for joining me on-air this week and for treating me baby so good the way that you do.
Jacinta can't help but get teary eyed by Mannie's words, as she returns back the affection to Mannie with a passionate smooch on the lips.
Jacinta: I love you too Papi; (Wiping her tears) but come on hun, we have to do (Tapping her papers on the table before laying them down) So Mannie. You took on (Sighing) APW Undisputed Champion Terry Marvin more than a week ago, in what some have called 'The Asylum Match of the Year'. So Mannie in your best effort, could you try to breakdown where your head has been since then?
Mannie: Well Jacinta, i've honestly been in a funk about it. I mean sure; I would love to say that I felt cheated about the win, but why make excuses? I lost to the Undisputed Champ, and it's nobody fault but *Sneezes* Sally.
Jacinta: Bless You!
A concerned Jacinta opens up her purse, and hands Mannie some tissus to help clear his nose.
Jacinta: (Rubbing his back) Are you okay?
Mannie: (Wiping his nose) Yeah baby, I'm good.
Jacinta: Oh alright; but yeah boo, you were saying something about the match and then that happened.
Mannie: I'm sorry baby, but i'm pretty sure what it was...(Discarding the tissue before clearing his throat) I must be allergic to bullshit!
Jacinta: (Having a hearty laugh) Oh that's right baby, you are allergic to that. Awww...(Brushing his head) I know what would make you feel better?
Mannie: You do? (Smiling)
Jacinta: Yeah baby, but will talk more about that "Off-Air"; but let's back on subject. So would you say that one more time, for those listeners who didn't hear you?
Mannie: Yes I can, I said that Sally Talfourd cost me the match, but let it be known i'm not making an excuses about it. I am simply stating the obvious, and that's Sally Talfourd is afraid of me. She's been jealous of my success since she left out of APW; and she knows that if I had became champion, that she would've never had been able to beat me.
Jacinta: (Nodding) You seem very confident Mannie, so what you implying?
Mannie: (Rubbing the point of his jaw) Look! All i'm saying is that I would've been a problem. APW knew it, Terry knew it, that lockeroom knew it, and by the time Sally finally woke up from her day nap; to pull me out the ring. She had finally knew it as well.
Jacinta: Ahhh I can see what you mean now, so what does this mean now for you?
Mannie: Well originally I had wanted to find Sally; and to let Alec get rid her, but fortunate for her though. I was granted a spot in the Elimination Chamber at One Night in Hell. So the way it, I get to have my cake, and I get to eat it too.
Jacinta: (Nodding) Okay Mannie. So moving onto what's currently going on with you, what's happening at the moment?
Mannie: Alright Jacinta, so right now. I'm scheduled to wrestle this Sunday in a tag team with Sang Real.
Jacinta: Who? (Expressing confusion)
Mannie: I know right, but that's not important Jacinta. See what really is, is that fact of whom i'm tagging with?
Jacinta: Who Papi?
Mannie: One of my best friends and brothers, Diamante Valentine... (Rolling his eyes)
Jacinta: So I take it, you're not happy about this?
Mannie: Hell No!
Jacinta: Wow really?
Mannie: Yeah that's right, I said it. I'm not happy, that Diamante is back. Honestly why should I be?
Jacinta: Well...
Mannie: Well Nothing! I busted my ass all year to reach this level, and when I finally get there, what did Jason Kash do?
Jacinta: What boo?
Mannie: This scumbag had the damn nerve, to bring back my ex-partner. A partner I might add; that was suppose to be done with wrestling, and was suppose to be a happily retired married man.
It was at that moment, Mannie just couldn't take it anymore.
Mannie: I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT!
Mannie: So you mean to tell me that Diamante; Diamante Valentine is coming to APW, and he still think's his spot is intact?
Mannie does a face a palm
Mannie: Well my brother, you are so mistaken. See you must have been having too much fun as family man, the last 3 years? Because APW is no longer the company, that it was when you left back in 2011, no my brother. It is now; 'The House that I built', so I hope you understand where I'm coming from? See I think you would, I mean how would you feel, if you were in my position? But wait you can't because you're too busy, chasing a forgotten memory. A memory nobody cares to remember, so why don't do us all a favor and stay home.
Mannie looks to be ready to walk of set, but he pauses to say something else.
Mannie: So I want everyone who is listening to this; to know how serious I am right now, On Sunday i'm going to dominate. I'm going to rip Sang Real a new one, and I'm going to send that message right back down; to both you Sally, and to you Terry. So I suggest you take notice; because 'The Main Attraction' isn't going anywhere, because I am 'The Face of APW', and there is nothing you can do to stop me. #TheMAEraWillLiveForever
The scene fades as Mannie finally walks off set; Meanwhile Jacinta is awkwardly shruging at the camera, just before leaving as well.
