It was clear that a lot of wrestlers from APW may have thoughts about APW closing down. The first of those guys was Stefan as he has something to say about APW.
Stefan Raab: I'm really gutted to hear from Jeff himself that the company had to close down as I'm sure that the other stars feel the same way and I never gave any credit to Jeff on how well he's run the company for six years which is a very rare thing these days on some companies can't even run for months let alone years upon end like Jeff has. I can tell you all that Jeff didn't want to close the company down at all but he told me that he was stressed out a lot with his job and it was time for him to take a step back and relax away from the wrestling business. Whatever he does we have to respect the fact that he made us become the stars we are today in the sport and how well APW has grown over the last few years. I wish you well Jeff and god bless.
OOC: Anybody can reply to this even former stars can too. We have this OOC but not IC so I done it for you lot.

Now seen as the Last General Manager for Asylum, Jason Kash. He wasn't too quick to respond to the inquiring minds but eventually made this statement:
"It's crap. All these years this roster has Fought and BLED for this company and now it's over? My hunger for Action remains, my thirst for competition has not gone away. One lump sum of funds to pay off my contract? I'll take it and find somewhere else but there will now, before, and forever be only ONE Action Packed Wrestling.."

Upon hearing the news regarding the "Action Packed" closure, the organization's final Undisputed Champion was unavailable for comment. Of course.
However, in their search, press phoned the champion's former publicist, Tyler Harrison, who had been employed with the company in a non-wrestling role since the May of 2013.
"It's definitely a bummer. I had a lot of fun watching everybody here grow from Meltdown to the 'big shows' like Asylum and Overdrive-- but to be honest with you, they were ALL the 'big show.' Like... The people in this place... They always wanted APW to be better, and you don't get that in a lot of other feds. It's a sick world where every man only looks out for himself, and APW was a nice break from that. Not everybody was perfect, myself included, but at the end of the day, we were a dysfunctional little family, and I don't see myself ever loving an environment the way I love this one... as much as I love this one. Thanks for the memories."

Newcomer Jordan Caliban posted some thoughts on twitter about being the last signed member of the roster
@calibanned
I came here because there is talent here, there are guys here I would give my left nut to work with in a ring, I have been a wrestler here for 5 minutes but this company has always been something I kept my eye on. RIP APW sorry I took so long to get here

Below are some more Twitter reactions to APW's sudden closure; @wrepresentative Necking some Jack in tribute to a fallen legend. RIP APW. Hope the Megastars invested well.@blazerel woah. i just sent a contract to join them and everything. shit.John Slade l The ExecutionerHoly shit. APW is dead. Just like my career. Back to the sawmill with me.@kandikollins What is an APW?@sarahsnapsalot I am dead. lel.Meanwhile, new major signing Peter Shelley who was suspended from Twitter on his first day for excessive hash tagging and abuse of Stefan Raab released a video statement with this to say; "This is BULLSHIT man. BULLSHIT. I worked long and hard in my five weeks as a megastar. I was sure that I was in line for a championship match but now El Jefe goes and pulls a stunt like this? What the fuck man. President Jeff knew that I was going to redefine this industry in my image and become a bigger star than APW itself. That's why he pulled the plug, so the industry will be remembered by the brand name and not the star who transcended the surrounding walls and thrust himself into immortality. Oh well. I'm off to get a deep massage from Ada to ease out the 'tension'. Don't think I'm gone though. I'll be back soon, you hapless set of twats."

A wrestling insider caught up with Chris Madison back at his Warehouse training facility on Long Island, New York. He had the following to say:
"I'm not surprised Jeff closed APW's doors. The Black Hand tried to expose Jeff and Upper Management for all of their flaws which were leading this company to its inevitable downfall. Everyone thought we were just a power hungry group of bad guys, refusing to play by the rules. Well if I was the kind I guy to say I told you so, now would be as fitting of a time as any..."
"But let's put the politics aside. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in APW. It's no secret that APW was the first American born wrestling company I have worked for in six years. It revitalized me. I am honored to be the final APW Overdrive Champion...a title that I had planned to restore to its glory. I got to participate in the only APW War Games match, which ended up being the final contest for both CJ Gates and Michael Jennings. I hope the APW faithful were satisfied with my body of work."

Several days after the One Night in Hell PPV ended, the newly-crowned APW World Tag Team Champions, The Unforgiven, were questioned on their thoughts about the company's closing. After five months of carving a path through the roster and finally accomplishing their goal of being champions, the interviewer was expecting an angry explosion from the quintet. Here is that interview, the setting being Zachariah Blood's private residence in Lafayette, Louisiana:
Interviewer (off-camera): "This has to be a somewhat emotional time for you four. One Night in Hell just over a week ago was your most glorious moment in the company and just days later the company is closed. Did any of you see this coming?"
Zachariah Blood: "Honestly? Yeah, I did see it coming. How many times did this place flip-flop through general managers for any of their shows? How many times were we left to question who was actually making the decisions? And how many of the people who were in charge just the five months that we competed here did NOT have some sort of agenda?"
Lady Rayne "That doesn't mean to say we weren't happy here. There were plenty of teams both tenured and thrown together waiting to be slaughtered by us and we dealt with two of the best en route to becoming champions. And we were looking forward to laying waste to several more through the course of our reign. Then..."
She trails off and anger contorts her pretty face. Shaking her head, she passes off the rest of her answer and her older sister, Talon, speaks up.
Talon: "...and then it all goes to hell. If I weren't used to this sort of thing, I'd be more angry. I've won championships in other companies myself and had things like this happen. It's par for the course in this economy and just in the wrestling business in general."
Sentinel naturally maintains his silence but his expression is a severe one...even more so than usual. He stares down for a moment at the tag title belt over his shoulder and the rage in his eyes increases. Not even Talon's reassuring touch on his shoulder stymies the fury.
Interviewer (off-camera): "Where does that leave the five of you now, including Tyler Harrison?"
Zachariah Blood: "Tyler is a part of the group but he's not leashed to us. If he sees opportunity elsewhere, he's welcome to go make the most of it. We'd be just fine with having him stick with the group but the choice is his."
Talon: "I'll say it before anyone else does: he earned his place with us through his efforts at One Night in Hell. These tag championships were earned by all of us. We all did our part. Whether he stays or goes is up to him but he'll have a place here as long as he chooses."
Lady Rayne "We don't play well with others, so you can understand how strong those words are."
Talon: "The question now, I'm certain, is where will WE go, right?"
Interviewer (off-camera): "Pretty much. Word is there's a few start-ups and several tenured federations out there where you five could ply your trade. Do any stand out?"
Talon: "One that stands out above the rest is NEWEra Wrestling. We have an ally there and their tag division is ripe for the picking. A team like us could do damage quickly and easily, tearing a path through to the top."
Zachariah Blood: "Tyler's made a little noise about this place called PURE."
Lady Rayne "This sort of thing has damn near soured me on the whole business. We tear ourselves and our opponents apart trying to get to the top and once we do the floor falls out from under us. I'll go where the group goes because at this point it's all the same to me."
Blood, his championship over his shoulde as he leans back on the sofa next to Rayne, puts his arm around her shoulders. She leans against him a little, looking almost as angry as Sentinel, who stands near the side of the couch. Talon is sitting on that end now, having been standing next to him a few moments ago. She looks up at the Silent Destroyer behind her and he stares at the camera coldly.
Interviewer (off-camera): "I...don't suppose the big man has anything to say?"
The other three exchange looks of mingled humor and irritation.
Zachariah Blood: "Do you even know who you're talking to?"
Interviewer (off-camera): "Well, I...I mean, in a situation like this..."
Lady Rayne "Idiot..."
Talon's attention goes from the interviewer to Sentinel. The Silence Behind the Violence turns his attention to Zachariah for a moment and the Patron Saint of Suffering meets the stare. Sentinel puts his title up and over his shoulder, folding his thick arms across his broad chest. Blood smirks and turns back to the camera.
Zachariah Blood: "Well, that says it all. We're the last World Tag Team Champions of this company's long history...and that means the belts are staying with us. The pittance they're offering us to buy out our contracts? It doesn't mean anything. This was never about the money for us. It was about getting in the ring and beating motherfuckers down because that's what we do best. We could have gone to a bigger company and made a fortune...hell, I could have gone back to Japan or stepped into MMA and done the same thing for even more money. But it's not about that, as we said. Maybe I'll do one of the things I just mentioned. Maybe we'll pack up our team and head to another fed to raise some hell and strike terror in the plebians. No matter what we decide to do, though, no one who has experienced us will ever forget us."
Lady Rayne "Despite everything, we enjoyed our time here. It was...fun. While it lasted, anyway."
Talon: "It isn't the end for us, just another beginning. Don't be surprised to see us turn up again, to become champions again. It's what we do...and no one does it better. APW helped us get ourselves on the map as a team instead of the singles stars we began in this business as. For that, we'll be grateful. Wherever we end up next, well...they'll probably curse the name Action Packed Wrestling almost as hotly as they curse our names for being this damn good."
Interviewer (off-camera): "Thanks for your time, ladies and gentlemen."
The feed fades to black.
