Signature Move(s) (Please include description if move name is changed)
Token crowd-pleasing spot: Police Lineup
Description: Smith locks in a dragon sleeper with one arm. However, instead of isolating his opponent's other arm with the free elbow, Smith hits three forearm smashes to his opponent's chest that the crowd counts along with before an elbow smash sends him to the ground.
Finisher(s) ((Please include description if move name is changed)
Primary finisher: Big Apple Asskicker
Primary finisher description: Modeled after an idol of his youth, the Ultimate Warrior, Smith lifts his opponent up in a gorilla press slam before coming off the ropes with a big splash. On occasion, Smith will go to the top rope with the big splash in the Big Apple Asskicker. This is extremely rare (only happening in big matches on big stages), and it's not the most accurate, but when he hits, it is NOT kicked out of.
Secondary finisher: Big Apple Slam
Secondary finisher description: Taka Michinoku's Michinoku Driver. Smith whips his opponent into the ropes and appears to catch him in a body slam. However, on the way down, A.C. sits out, multiplying the opponent's impact on the mat.
Bio:
A.C. Smith's wrestling career began nearly 12 years ago, and in that time, the man known to fans around the world as "The Big Apple Asskicker" has fashioned a career many would kill for. A former officer in the New York Police Department's homicide unit, Smith left the force after the assumed death of then-love interest Tracy, and his life may have been saved by wrestling, a passion he held close to his heart ever since finishing third at the New York City amateur championships in his senior year of high school.
Successful everywhere he went, Smith won the Backyard Brawl World Championship (five times), the More Power Wrestling Tag Team Championship, the American Wrestling Alliance No Limits (two times) and United States Championships, and the American Championship Wrestling World and United States Championships before his journey took him to his most recent stop: Action Packed Wrestling.
In his year and a half with APW, the Big Apple Asskicker established himself as one of the most reliable competitors in the company. Most notably, he was the final APW Xtreme Champion in company history, and some fans treat him as the longest-reigning one in history since he has never been beaten in a title match since winning it in December of 2012. A Test For The Best semifinalist in 2013 and a distinguished Survive and Conquer participant that same year, Smith was voted APW Co-Champion of the Year by his peers and fans, sharing the honor with all-time great and former Undisputed Champion Terry Marvin.
Since APW's closure after One Night in Hell (where Smith defeated both Leon Roberts and Mad Mumf), A.C. has kept himself very busy fighting a battle that has meant more to him than anything. His estranged father re-entered his life in the summer of 2013, revealing that he was suffering from terminal cancer and had been framed for a series of break-ins that resulted in more than two decades behind bars. After weeks of grueling proceedings and legal maneuvering, Smith's father was officially pardoned, and he died an innocent man shortly after spending Christmas with A.C. and Roxanne, Smith's former NYPD partner and current girlfriend.
Does Smith have anything left to prove in the squared circle? Not at all. But the fire he had when he first entered the business still burns as much as it ever has. A.C. has not lightened up in his training, and he enters Survive and Conquer with one thing on his mind: Winning the 100-man battle royal not just for himself, but for his recently-departed father.
Any extra info you want to add about your character: Smith will not instigate contact with women, though he will defend himself if the situation calls for it.
