Bio:
Amy Zing was born in Hong Kong, People’s Republic of China. Her family moved to the United States shortly before Great Britain turned control of Hong Kong back over to China. It was in the United States where Amy discovered and fell in love with wrestling after attending a lucha libre show.
She made a name for herself in several independent promotions before reaching a national stage in the ACW.
Amy quickly gained popularity with her high flying offense and devastating array of kick, as well as her never-say-die attitude (she will NEVER tap out). She is also known for her humble and friendly attitude outisde the ring as well as her passion inside. She has stated many times that she associates with the phoenix (Fenghuang in Chinese mythology), which is feminate and a symbol of immortality and rebirth. Many of her moves are named for the mythical bird.
After the ACW closed down, Amy returned to wrestling in various independant promotions in North America and Japan before joining APW.
Amy made her APW debut at One Night in Hell in a Japanese Deathmatch battle royal. She then became part of the Monday Night Meltdown roster and began a brief mini-fued with Logan Alexander before feuding with Young Mannie and Sienna Harrison and later, Sienna and Robina Hood, which culminated in Amy beating Sienna in a match.
Soon after, Amy was drafted to Thursday Night Overdrive where she would wrestle various opponents with on and off success, including two failed attempts to beat Evan Envi for the Overdrive Championship.
At the Meltdown Supershow following Shockwave, Amy Zing defeated Robina Hood to become APW North American Champion, winning the first championship of her career.

Amy is a spotfest using a lot of high-risk, flying moves and kicks. Her main offensive strikes are her kicks.
Amy will NEVER tap out or quit in a match. She has a "never say die"/"never give up" attitude. She has a lot of heart, so she'll keep fighting.
While Amy is friendly and humble outside the ring, once the bell rings, she will wrestle to the absolute best of her ability.
Amy Zing does not willingly cheat. If the match calls for weapon use, then she'll use weapons. She'll also kick a chair into her opponent's face if they bring a chair into the ring.
