Results are up. Thanks to everyone who did segments and thanks to Tmarv, Biggs and Evan for writing matches. Thanks to Tmarv, Rebel, Biggs, and Alex Black for helping with the Judging. And thanks to everyone who took part.
Feel free to leave feedback and discuss the show in this thread. A lot of work was put into it

Much respect to everyone who RP'ed for the S&C match. Congratulations to Rex, Gordon, and Adrien for making it out of their groups and much congratulations to Doug E. Fresh for taking the whole thing. Thank you to Jeff and everyone else for making this possible and if it was the last S&C match, it went out with the bang that it's due. I do have to know: my opening for my S&C RP? I'll be disappointed if I didn't get at least one laugh from the judging staff for using it.

First off thank you TMarv for Group Four's match - yes. Just yes.
Thanks to APW and Jeff for hosting this and letting us all play in the sandbox.
As a fedhead I want to say I am SO PROUD of my SCW boys it's insane.
Congrats to the final four, and Doug <3 All the love.

In the words of baseball broadcaster Jack Buck, "Pardon me while I stand and applaud." A spectacular show from top to bottom. It reminded me how great APW truly was and how deep and talented the e-fedding community still is. It was a blast to participate, though I'm still seething at my bad draw! On a serious note, the matches were exceptionally-written. From the rumbles to the undercard to the awesome main event, everything delivered. Also, kudos to everyone who submitted segments; the show flowed really well. I'm really looking forward to RassleMania X. It's always an awesome experience working with Dimitri, and I'm proud of the work he did on the tag match and in the post-match segment. Job well done by everyone. Congrats to Doug E. Fresh, truly a worthy champ!

Congrats to Doug, and the winners of all the groups. There were some damn good RP's, and the results were great. I am kind of left questioning how my character was eliminated before people that no showed? I didn't expect to win the thing or even my group, but I expected to at least last longer than the assholes that no showed. I'm just really scratching my head on how that happened.

Just to mention that the last segment I did wasn't there for the fatal four way match but understandable with the amount that was sent in. Woah Biggs and Jeff fighting at Rasslemania? Sounds so cool. Good luck to Biggs with that and congrats to Doug on winning the rumble. Got to say Biggs that you sold the match really well with my character being from Germany side of things and I liked that. Good write up all around guys and congrats on the winner.

If that was my last match with C.J. Gates, I couldn't have picked a better match, better opponents, a better partner and a better write up. Awesome job, Evan and my hats are off to the guys in that match. Was fun to RP against and with you guys.
Congrats to Doug on the win. Joins a pretty nice list of winners. I also loved the set up this year - it kind of gives people more time to shine then in a larger field and also makes it a bit easier to write especially if you can get 4 different writers for the 4 rumbles. Congratulations once again Doug, fantastic.
Overall it was a great show. Glad to have been a part of it and a part of APW.
Congrats also to Kurt Noble. Well deserved.

Raab, I only got 1 segment from you.
And Chris Shields, Don't look at it this way. You did last longer than the no shows. The no shows lasted seconds in the match and you lasted like 10 minutes or something I think. Had all the no shows been eliminated first, there would have been 14 guys in the ring in the end, and for me that was two many. I didn't want too many people in the ring at the same time, which is why you got eliminated when you did

Wow... Just... Wow... Every year, I find myself impressed beyond belief by The S&C match, and this year was no exception. Very well-written from each and every writer from start to finish, and congratulations to everyone who participated on a SPECACULAR show, especially the group winners and even more Doug E. Fresh. The amount of talent in this thing was INCREDIBLE, and I'm honored just to be a part of it, no matter where I start or end up. What a show!!

Umm...Yeah...I've seriously no idea how that happened. I honestly wasn't expecting to last past the group stages, but to get as far as I did...Yeah...Still waiting for that to sink in, really.
Either way, the show was outstanding. And I mean that as an entire show, not just by looking at the rumbles. The rest of the card gave a different flavor, and in truth was quite refreshing in seeing different matches mixed in. It also put a little more logic in the final 4 being able to fight the way they did, given the slight "rest spot" if you will between matches.
Kurt Noble is an exceptional writer, of which I've the honor of having faced him before his retirement. Seeing him recognized for his work here in APW was unquestionably a highlight, and this is coming from someone who's only watched from the outskirts.
Rasslemania looks to be promising with Biggs Vs Jeff and A.C. Smith Vs Evan Envi both looking to be exceptional matches. Who knows, I might even be able to challenge Doug for the S&C suitcase...Maybe >.> <.< >.>
Overall, this was an exceptional show, and if this really is the last Survive and Conquer (which I truly hope it isn't, BTW) then it went out with a bang.
Congrats to all, staff and RPers alike.

That's weird cos I did send the other one. Not sure why it never got there. I found the segment. didn't realize you sent it as a reply to your first one. I've added it to the show. Its right before your 4 way match. Sorry for the mistake

Alright feedback time. Before I start, thanks everyone for the kind praise. All of the rps were awesome. Truly fantastic group of writers with the only real disappointment being the no-shows. I like short segments through a PPV. Appreciate those who submitted them. The matches were great. I do not know much about many of the APW characters being a life-long SCW guy but there was such good storytelling in the matches that I didn't really feel left out of anything important. I've read other S&C events in the past but this is the very first time I've competed on APW. Note to Jack: Convince Jeff to do this again next year so its not the last. Ok continuing on. The rumbles were outstanding. Good use of the no shows with their quick exits. I did not mind the different lengths of some of them and its funny how many common minds there were between the different rumble writers with often times the early entrants surviving close to the end. Its always a good story. I appreciate interfed events that take the time to get to know character history. I appreciated reading all the bits with MDK and Doug as well as with Specter and Doug. Note 2: Rex and I in the same ring was also a good thing to read personally due to a CWC feud that never happened due to their slow death. I agree with what others have already said about the format making it easier to write and to showcase more of the writers. It allows you to give people more of what they hope to see (Kash really wanted that A+). Lastly, I want to express my thanks to all those involved in the production of this event. IRL is busier than its ever been for me but with this possibly being the last S&C I did not want miss an opportunity to try it. Congrats to all show winners and all the rpers in general. So many could of won. So many great rps. Finally... Note 3: Did you know, at least three of the S&C winners have resided in good old Ohio? Just sayin'

The event was an awesome read and I'm glad things worked out to where I was able to take part even though I had not made the original deadline. On a personal level I did much better than I really though that I would do so that in itself was like a win for me. Everyone brought their A game and I definitely did not pity the judges for having to decide on who won which match.
I'd like to thank Jeff and the APW guys for putting on this event and letting me take part and if there were to be another Survive and Conquer next year, than I would most certainly sign up in a heartbeat.
Great experience.

biggs i gotta ask, did you pick up my dr who reference? Yes I did. But onto the show itself, I wrote the first two matches, so I'll give some commentary. I was originally going to write Chris Madison vs. Biggs as a mini-epic to start off a great night of action, but with the unfortunate no-show, I felt that would not be appropriate. However, I do hope as the blow off match for the whole Black Hand vs. Biggs feud that it was a satisfying ending. The Group One Rumble just got a life of it's own as I started writing it. My original intention was to clock in at maybe 5,000 words. That didn't happen, as it came to almost twice that. Once I got started rolling with it, I couldn't help myself, it just kept flowing out of the my fingers. I tried to fit in action for as many folks as possible, and with the ring filling up the way that it did, that kept getting harder and harder. Congrats to Rex Evans for surviving Group One. Group Two Rumble was a lot of fun to read, and I liked the touch how you wrote what number folks entered at, and which elimination they were. Wish we had talked about that earlier, as it would have helped format all the Rumbles. Still, other than half the field no showing, it was a well written bout. Big props to Gordon Fury for moving on. Rumble Three was another barn burner, and having it come down to Adrian Spectre and AJP was tense, even though I already knew who was moving on. Great exchanges during this contest, and another solid Rumble. (It's really hard to have a bad Rumble, unless you're WWE, and you ignore the best wrestler on your roster...) Rumble Four lived up to it's reputation as the Group of Death, and with only 1 no-show, it was the best contested Rumble. Still, very happy to see Doug E. Fresh win, as I am undoubtedly a mark for the guy. I'll be honest, the Fatal Four Way, while well written, didn't hold my interest as well as the prior matches. I think the fact that it came right after four Rumbles put it in a hard spot. I'm going to re-read it tomorrow, and judge it on it's own merits. Like I said, it is no fault of it's own, it just came after four grueling matches. For the Tag Match, I love me some C.J. Gates, and I love seeing him win with the Market Crash. Good bout, good pacing. Finally, the final four. My only gripe is that the whole thing was a little bit shorter than I would have liked. I love long matches, on TV and in my e-fedding. Still, congrats to the Final Four, who all represented their feds well, and huge props to Doug E. Fresh! I've been reading Sin City Wrestling periodically, but after S&C, I'm probably going to go to reading it full time. In closing, great show. Blew the Royal Rumble out of the water. Can't wait for RassleMania X. Let's all work together to close APW out in style!

First of all I have to give a big Thank You to all of those involved in the creation of the show, from those who showed up with an RP to those involved in the judging and writing. This was the first time I'm involved in something like this and I really enjoyed being a part of it a lot, makes it sad to think this might have been the last run of this match, hope not, hope it becomes a special yearly event.
Now I have to say that I loved the way you guys wrote Eddie, being honest I didn't expect him to be written like he was and hell didn't expect to be so close to winning my group, so reading it, for me it was a shocker (Hell I believe it was even closer than what I expected just by the way it ended, which added a lot of tension for me reading lol). Congrats to Gordon, Rex, Doug and Specter... great showing from your part and obviously Doug congrats on being the winner.

Hell of a show, and great to be involved in even if it was for the first AND final time. I knew even getting out of the group would be a hell of a task for EP given the talent he was up against, so all I was secretly hoping for was to hit a couple of Facepainters and get the whacky elimination evasion spot of the night... SUCCESS! Mad congrats to Doug, and to the rest of my SCW peeps as a whole.. we are the number one bomb

A fantastic job. Lots of awesome moments throughout all the fights, the writers really did a good job building tension and making the action flow well. After reading nearly all the RP's I have to say there are a lot of new awesome characters I definitely need to read up on. Thanks a ton for letting me be a part of all of this. Congrats to the final four especially Doug E Fresh for taking home the victory.
