'The Last Magician' appears in London - Fans disappointed!
Lats week, FTWrestling.com reported that ‘The Last Magician’ Sally Talfourd had been spotted at Seoul International Airport, sparking rumours that an appearance at the final APW show - and likely pay per view of the year - Rasslemania X was imminent.
Those rumours seem to have been hosed down with recent fan sitings in and around London. Through Sunday and Monday, Twitter was buzzing that Talfourd had made the crossing to London. These were unconfirmed until the first fan photo surfaced, showing a much more casual Sally Talfourd moving about London.
Her management - when contacted by FTWrestling.com - was happy to share details.
"Sally is in London working on an undisclosed TV series for the Korean and East-Asia markets," Manager Matt (as fans will remember him by) commented. When pressed for information regarding an in-ring return, he said "Right now - and for the foreseeable 6 to 8 months - Sally has no intention of returning to the ring. We have received no requests from, and have expressed no interests to, any company Sally has been associated with - past or present."
While Sally's career had been rumoured to be headed towards the film and TV drama industry (which Talfourd alluded to late 2013), many fans were quietly hoping that a return to wrestling would accompany such a return to the spotlight.
Given her management's attitude, and her current schedule and location, it seems an appearance by 'The Last Magician' at Rasslemania X is extremely unlikely.
