(On Camera)
We just quickly open up as “Ballistic” Bryan Deas is just getting ready to speak on this event.
Bryan: Good evening, people! For those of you who don’t know who I am, I am “Ballistic” Bryan Deas and I have been wrestling for over 10 years. Now, I may not be a regular for APW but this isn’t my first dance.
A pause is met as Bryan speaks again.
Bryan: When I heard that APW was hosting its last ever event here, I couldn’t pass this up, and if I wanted to compete at Rasslemania X, I could pick my own opponent, and the choice was so easy, so that is why I chose you, Mr. Andrews.
Another pause is met.
Bryan: You see, Ace, we have a lot of history between you and I, but I believe you are still a little sore at me from the last time we faced in my very own match, the Simply Ballistic Invitational. The match that you couldn’t win, but yet, no one else can either! You see, when that match happened in our “favorite” place, RMP, I proved on that night that I was better than you, but honestly, did we really settle anything, Ace? Did we really prove who was the better man? If it was up to you, no. Me, I wouldn’t care less. Because, really, when you think about it, we both have been wrestling for a long time, and it is about time that one day, we both need to make that decision, a decision if we should both just hang up the boots and just explore other options, but before that happens, we both need to find out, who is the better man between us, Ace? Is it me or is it you?
Another pause.
Bryan: Lets just make this crystal clear. I respect you both as a competitor and an individual. I think you are an great talent in this business, but remember, when you step between those ropes and you get in the ring with me at Rasslemania X, it’s not about being friends, it’s about what do you have to do to beat me? Can you do whatever it takes to do so? I already know that I will do whatever it takes to win. Can you say the same thing?
Another pause.
Bryan: Well, Ace, I could talk on and on and on about how I am going to win, but I know that I and the fans don’t wanna hear me blah and blah on, because, actions speak louder than words. So, Ace, at Rasslemania X, we will find out who has that extra something and who will go down in defeat? So, until we meet in that ring, have yourself a pleasant night and good luck to you! May the best man win!
As Bryan is smiling, he speaks one more time.
Bryan: I know, I will!!!
As Bryan is laughing, we fade to black.
