Harvey: Shadow, who is also an APW Hall of Famer, would love to win here tonight
Chase: Man, Mark Mania is still laid out here on the outside.
Shadow scoops Havok up, goes over to the middle of the rope and drops him throat first on top of the ropes. Shadow then lifts Havok up, puts him in a front face lock before lifting him for a suplex and holding him in the air in the middle of the ring. Harvey: The following match has absolutely nothing to do with APW! Chase: But it is a blockbuster and has the entire industry rumbling. One of the biggest names in the history of our business coming back for one more crack at it, going up against one of the fastest rising names in recent memories. Harvey: Jack Benevolence and Rex Evans, two household names for all of our fans whether they were a part of APW or not. Jackie B being the former True Expert champion, and Rex Evans coming from seemingly nowhere to a third place finish in his very first Survive & Conquer. Chase: This match has money written all over it!
The lights dim down and the crowd gets quiet with anticipation, but as the Come With Me/Cashmere Remix Instrumental plays over the sound system the very foundation of the arena begins to shake with boos as the crowd let’s their hatred known. A man steps out from the back, a wide grin on his face, being followed closely by another figure. Ferrari: Ladies and gentlemen the following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first hailing from Los Angeles, California weighing in at 230 lbs. and being accompanied to the ring by Russell White… he is the Once and Future King, Jack… BENEVOLENCE!Jack holds his hands out at his sides, staring out into the sea of hate as he saunters down the ramp. He exchanges a few choice words with several fans on his way, before carefully climbing the steps and entering the ring. He smirks out into the crowd as he comes to the middle of the ring, posing for only a second before four very familiar words echo throughout the arena. TAKE THIS SHIT BACK! After the reception Jack received by the fans, it isn’t surprising that the former hero get’s quite the pleasant reaction, but it is still surprising to hear. Harvey: This is the first time fans have seen Rex since he checked himself into a Mental Health institute. Chase: I think we’re going to see a different Rex Evans tonight, and it’ll be deserving of this reaction.
The crowd continues cheering as the low guitar riff steadily increases, until at last the fifth word rings out. FIGHT! and ‘2nd Sucks’ by A Day to Remember blares onto the sound system. The former Code Red Con storms onto the stage and comes to a stop dead center, staring out at each corner of the arena with a subtle smirk, before bashing himself on the head twice and hurdling both fists into the air to an even more explosive reaction. Ferrari: And his opponent, weighing in at 247 lbs. from Oshkosh, Wisconsin… he is the Avatar of Brutality, Rex… EVANS!
Rex bounces back and forth to each leg, shadowboxing on his way down the ramp, zigzagging to each side in order to slap hands of a few fans. This truly is a different Rex Evans. He hops onto the apron, making direct eye contact with Benevolence before exploding through the ropes. He goes chest to chest with the man claimed to be one of the best in the business, and simply smirks in his face. He turns away to remove his hooded sweatshirt, only for Jack to follow behind and raise his foot right into a vicious low blow! Harvey: The bell hadn’t rung yet. It was all legal!
The referee scolds Jack as Rex falls to the mat, turning and signaling for the bell. SINGLES MATCH Rex Evans Vs Jack Benovolence
The crowd lets Benevolence hear it again, and he just soaks all the negative reaction in with a smug look. Rex holds onto himself as he crumbles in pain on the mat, and the referee snags his sweatshirt and throws it to the outside. Jack begins to kick Rex while he’s on the mat, first a swift soccer kick to the abdomen that causes Rex to roll towards the rope, then a hard straight kick to the side of the head.
Chase: Jack is certainly taking advantage of the cheap shot before the opening bell.
Rex reaches out for the ropes, grabbing the middle and gasping for air. Jack delivers another kick to his back that makes the Loose Cannon scream out in agony. Before Rex can budge, Jack digs his knee right into his back, causing not only pain to shoot through Rex’s spine, but causes him to be choked on the second rope. The referee gets involved, yelling at Jack who forces him to count to four before taking a step back. He pulls the ref away from Rex to argue, and as he does Russell White rushes to Rex and pulls down on the back of his head, choking him again.
Harvey: I don’t think anyone is surprised by the lack of rule following from the longest reigning True Expert champion here tonight.
Chase: its kind of what he’s known for.
As White lets go, Jack moves past the referee and drops an elbow onto Evans. He grabs him by the foot and drags him to the middle of the ring, flipping him over and laying across him with his forearm grinding against the bigger man’s face. The ref drops down for the count.
1 . . . 2 . Kick Out
Rex manages to get his shoulders up and Jack is angry about it. He shoots a glare at the ref, but then forces Rex back onto his back and delivers a bloodcurdling knife-edged chop to his prone opponent before grinding his forearm in for another pin attempt.
ONE…
KICKOUT!
This time Rex scrambles to his hands and knees and Jack is even angrier, standing to tussle with the referee. He shouts something about doing his job, and asking him why they’re paying him. Jack turns back around and eats a jab to the gut much to the fan’s approval. He doubles over, and gets an uppercut to the jaw that stands him back up. Rex rushes to the ropes, but gets caught for a huge hip toss on his return. Jack taps his temple as he glares out at the audience again, donning another smug smirk.
Harvey: Jack showing why he was the champion for so long.
Rex gets back to his feet and charges at Jack again, only to be whipped back to the mat with an impressive arm drag. Jack gets to his feet and looks out yet again, this time slowly wiping his hands off as if the deed is done. Rex gets to his feet one more time, charging at Jack only to get a boot to the stomach and then hoisted high into the air and driven to the mat with a huge bodyslam. Jack poses for a moment, then drops down for another forearm-grinding pin.
ONE…
TWO…
KICKOUT!
Rex manages to get the shoulder up again, and Jack climbs to his feet, a little annoyed but still wearing that smirk. He walks over to the ropes and jaw jacks with a couple of fans in the front row, and suddenly the fans start to cheer as Rex gets back to his feet. He is holding his lower back, but a look of pure determination takes over as he stalks to the Once and Future King.
Harvey: Rex is back up!
Chase: And Jack is in for a big surprise.
Jack turns around right into a massive hip toss. He cries out in pain, scrambling back to his feet only to eat a picture perfect arm drag. He’s a little slower to get up, but runs right back into the fray and Rex hoists him up for a bodyslam, holding him in the air for almost three times as long as Jack did as he circles around to show Jack’s fear-face to the entire crowd, before driving him back first into the mat with a sit-out bodyslam. He hooks the leg.
1 . . . 2 . . . . KICKOUT!
Jack kicks out, and Rex climbs back to his feet, playing to the crowd as he moves to the corner. He headbutts the top turnbuckle a couple times, adorning that sickening grin he adopted during his time on the dark side before turning back to Jack and waiting for him to stand. As he does, he starts yelling from the corner, a loud battle cry, and he charges out looking for a spear as Jack turns around.
Harvey: UNSTOPPABLE!
Chase: UNSTOPPABLE!
But as he starts to lean over for the spear, Jack takes one step back and then leaps forward, nailing Rex right in the face with a beautiful superkick. Rex falls to the mat, but his overwhelming momentum knock Jack over as well, and he clutches at his knee.
Harvey: NO! Critical Kick! Jack got him with the Critical Kick!
Benevolence rolls around for a moment, clutching at that knee, but eventually musters the strength to crawl over to Rex and drape his arm across.
1 . . . 2 . . . . TH-KICKOUT!
Chase: Rex got his shoulder up! He’s still in it.
Jack rolls over, grasping at his hair in pure shock. He climbs to his feet, favoring that knee, and grabs onto the ref’s shirt with a vile look of desperation. He let’s go as the referee threatens a disqualification, and turns to the slightly recovering Evans. He grabs him by the hair, gritting through his teeth as he drags him to the corner and drives his head face-first into the bottom buckle. He repeats it once or twice, before repositioning Rex so that his left shoulder is pressed against the buckle. He stands up, stilling gritting his teeth, and then presses his foot violently against Rex’s shoulder, using the top rope as leverage drill that shoulder into the buckle.
Harvey: This is not looking good for Rex.
Chase: Benevolence is smart. He’s trying to take out Rex’s spearing shoulder, and if Rex can’t deliver the Unstoppable this match will be considerably easier for Jack.
The referee finally pulls Jack off of Rex, and again Jack brings the referee with him. Russell approaches Rex in the corner, wrapping his arm around the bottom rope and pulling up on it to torque that shoulder, trying to pop it out of it’s socket. Rex screams out in agony, causing the ref to start to turn back, and Russell quickly runs away.
Harvey: Russell White is really playing his part well. He will be an integral part in getting Jack this victory.
From the opposite corner, Jack yells out as he dashes across the ring and leaps knee first right into Rex’s left shoulder. The ref scolds him again, and Jack taunts the crowd, screaming things at them in pure pleasure. Rex manages to get his arm free and starts to climb to his feet, favoring that left shoulder. Jack moves back to him, and Rex starts firing up again, but Jack nails him in the back with a double axe handle to regain the upper hand.
Chase: Rex showing a little life, but Jack is really getting the better of him right now.
Jack pulls Rex out, holding him in a doubled over position and wrapping Rex’s own arm around behind his back in a sort of hammerlock, before driving him shoulder first into the mat again. Jack rolls him over and hooks the leg.
1 . . . . 2 . . . TH- KICKOUT!
Benevolence begins to get angry again, turning to the referee. Rex somehow manages to pull himself closer to the two, and grab Jack from behind into a roll up.
1 . . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT!
The crowd goes insane, as Jack scrambles to his feet in shock. Rex clutches that shoulder close to him, slowly getting to his feet as well. He turns as Jack charges at him with a clothesline, but Rex ducks under and hits the opposite ropes. As Benevolence regains his composure and turns around, he gets turned inside out from a massive spear.
Both: UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!!!!
Harvey: OH MY GOD!
Chase: That had to hurt Rex just as much!
As Rex’s shoulder collides with Jack, Rex lets out an agonizing scream of pain and slides to the outside of the ring.
Harvey: He’s unable to capitalize, instead moving to the outside to nurse that shoulder.
Chase: Jack might have dislocated Rex’s shoulder, but even still I’m positive that Rex just broke a couple of Jack’s ribs as promised.
Jack rolls around on the inside, clutching at his ribs in agony, as Rex does the same thing with his shoulder on the outside. As the referee reaches a four count, he bends down to make sure Jack is okay, and Jack “accidentally” thumbs the referee in the eye before immediately trying to apologize for it!
Harvey: That was blatant!
Rex begins to climb back up to the apron, but from out of nowhere Russell White once again comes to save the day for Jack, nailing Rex right between the legs with a brutal low blow. Jack gets to his feet, still making sure the referee is okay before rushing to Rex and ripping him to his feet by the hair. He taunts to the crowd as he sets up for a jackhammer, making sure to apply pressure to that injured shoulder.
Chase: This one might be done!
Jack starts to lift Rex up, but he struggles with the pain in his ribs, and it allows Rex enough leeway to deliver a knee strike to his midsection! Jack immediately relinquishes control and recoils in pain. As Rex regains his footing and starts toward Jack, Benevolence positions himself and blasts Evans with another Critical Kick from seemingly nowhere, completely rocking the Avatar of Brutality!
Harvey: THIS IS IT!
Jack rushes to the dazed Rex before he bumps, once again hooking his neck and this time lifting the bigger man up into the air for the jackhammer. He holds him there for only a couple seconds before powering him hard to the mat, and cockily covering the younger star.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . . 3
Winner: Jack Benovolence
Jack’s music begins to play and the ref raises his arm in victory. Harvey: I gotta say, it was a treat to have these two wrestlers showcase their talents in APW here tonight. Chase: It’s a shame these two never we’re under an APW contract.
Jack continues to celebrate and we go to a video package.

The lights in the area quickly cut out. The fans are abuzz, and the electricity in the air is met with one lyric. “ALL OF THE LIGHTS” Fireworks go off in time with the bass to the song as a large, dark silhouette appears on the stage. It stands still as a statue as the music continues and the capacity crowd cheers its collective heart out. Tony Ferrari: “From New York City! Weighing 275 pounds...THE BIG APPLE ASSKICKER, A.C. SMITH!!!!!”The lights slowly come back on around the building, and only now does the big man move down the aisle. He confidently surveys the scene around him and touches the outstretched hands of fans as the chorus kicks in. “Turn up the lights in here, baby Extra bright, I want y'all to see this Turn up the lights in here, baby You know what I need Want you to see everything Want you to see all of the liiiiights” Smith soaks in the admiration as he pauses just for a moment at the ringside steps. However, the multiple-time world champion quickly pops up to the apron, runs to the opposite turnbuckle, and poses atop it to more cheers from the crowd. After a few seconds, Smith pivots and jumps down to the ring, where he begins to loosen up for his upcoming match. Darren Harvey: A major APW favorite right here, Chase. When you think of quality sportsmanship in this business, AC Smith is without question one of the first faces you imagine.Johnny Chase: I’ll just have to take your word for it.”When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride Till I get to the bottom and I see you AGAIN...!" Multi-colored lights dance all across the arena as the opening riffs of "Helter Skelter" blast through the PA system. Within seconds, whistles and cheers emerge from the audience as Jenny Knite emerges from the back, blonde hair flowing freely behind her, and the APW Overdrive Championship, "Lady Overdrive" over her shoulder. With a microphone in hand, she stops and holds an arm out toward the entranceway. Jenny: Ladies and gentlemen... I proudly introduce to you, hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, weighing in at a METHODICAL two hundred and twelve pounds, the "King of Overdrive", Mr. Evan ENVIII!Evan bursts through the curtains, dressed in a white jacket with the name "ENVI" emblazoned across the back in blood-red, shimmering cursive. He looks out into the booing legions of fans, thoroughly unimpressed as he begins his descent down to the ring with a grin. He pauses halfway to turn to Jenny Knite as she hands him the Overdrive Championship. He takes it from her arms and kisses the face of the belt before turning back to the ring. Evan, with a running start, hops up onto the apron on one-knee and slides across with a sickening grin on his face before hopping up to stand atop the turnbuckles, screaming out to the jeering fans, holding the Overdrive Championship high above his head. The "King of Overdrive" finally hops down into the ring and hands the ring jacket to the referee, scolding him to be careful with it before he marches back to the ropes and hands the championship belt to Jenny Knite. He sinks into the corner to stretch, ready for combat. Chase: I’ve kinda missed Envi. This business needs more people like him like when he did absolute WORK here in the old days.Harvey: I think Envi and his old days should be left in the past. He might be talented, but he’s always had an attitude that attracted the wrong attention if you ask me.Chase: Don’t be jelly.Harvey: …………..SINGLES MATCH Evan Envi vs. AC Smith
The two men come face to face in the center of the ring, as the crowd rumbles in anticipation. Smith proceeds to make the first move, but it is Envi who is faster with a slug to the big man’s face, followed by a lock on AC Smith’s entire head. Smith counters out, slamming Envi to the canvas with a almost police officer-like takedown. He looks down at the momentarily dazed Envi and then delivers a boot to Envi’s lower back. Evan rolls over, clutching his back and even his stomach, suggesting how hard Smith hit him. Smith does not waste time or show mercy, however, as he cups his hands together and drops an ax handle chop to Evan’s head and neck region. Evan suffers the blow, but is able to roll away from his opponent and rise to his feet. But before he can get his wits about him and counter, Evan is dropped by a running clothesline from AC Smith, to a pop from the audience.
Harvey: The Big Apple Asskicker is wasting no time here tonight, ladies and gentlemen! He has taken total control of this match so far!
Chase: Envi will turn it around. You’ll see.
Evan rises again, holding his jaw, and turns to face the approaching Smith. The powerhouse grips Evan’s arm and twists it around, but very quickly Envi counters out and is able to twist Smith’s muscular arm around himself. He puts Smith into a headlock and then tosses him across the ring. Smith bounces off the ropes and comes charging back to Evan, who grips him into what appears to be a belly-to-belly suplex…but Smith somehow uses the momentum to instead hurl Evan across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex of his own! Evan yells out in slight pain as he comes to his feet again. Smith stomps after his opponent, but Evan seems to hear this as he abruptly rolls away and gets behind Smith. AC Smith is caught by surprise as he turns and is met with a rough kick to his abdomen. Evan gets behind Smith and wraps his arms around the big man’s waist. With all his might Evan suplexes AC Smith to the mat, receiving an impressed cheer from the crowd. Smith is initially a bit slow to get back up, but when he’s able to he rushes at the grinning Evan, who expertly counters the charging bull with a scoop slam. Evan doesn’t waste time as he lifts AC Smith up, and begins to strike him with numerous left and right hands. His fists are closed, prompting the referee to admonish him about keeping it clean.
Chase: Don’t break your hands on that massive head of his, Evan! Your APW health insurance won’t be around much longer!
Harvey: Oh quit it with that!
Chase: Just saying….Thanks, Obama.
Evan keeps punching regardless of the referee’s words, but it finally seems to get on his nerves as he takes his eyes off Smith to glare at the ref. He then goes to kick AC in the gut, but Smith has recovered during Evan’s pause, and he is able to grab ahold of Evan’s leg before it connects. He shakes his head “no”, and smiles as the crowd cheers. However, Evan prevents whatever Smith had planned with a CRACKLING Enziguri to the back of Smith’s head. Smith falls to the mat, and Evan is quick to take advantage, delivering multiple stomps to his downed opponent. Smith refuses to take the abuse, however, and gets back up. He shoves Evan away and then runs at him, only for the quick-thinking Envi to counter with a Hip Toss, which brings Smith to the mat where Evan delivers a Standing Moonsault.
Harvey: What’ll happen next? These two continue to counter and outmatch each other at nearly every turn. They’re definitely on even ground, Chase.
Chase: Not really, but you’re free to think that.
Both men come to their feet and engage in a tie up, testing each other’s strength and skill. Smith gets the upperhand and puts Evan into a headlock, from which he grabs Evan by the ear, holds up his head, and delivers a hard PUNCH between Envi’s eyes!
Chase: OWW!
Evan is floored by the shot, holding his face and visibly groaning. Smith rips him off the floor, gets behind him, and starts to go for perhaps a suplex when Evan is able to counter and flip AC Smith over him back down to the mat. Smith uses the ropes to get up faster, and both men are eye to eye once again as the crowd cheers. Evan goes for a jab, but Smith blocks it and puts Evan into another headlock. Envi breaks out though, and tries to get away to make his next move, but the much heavier man refuses to let go, Irish Whipping the smaller man into one of the corners. Evan rests against the turnbuckles, but it proves to be a dangerous location as Smith points at him, yells, and runs at Evan, delivering a running spear into Evan’s stomach and ribs. Spit visibly flies as Evan slumps to the floor in the corner, and Smith takes a brief moment to soak in the admiration of the fans. He then begins to stomp on the breathless Evan in the corner before hoisting him up and putting Envi into yet another headlock. This time, though, he proceeds to powerslam Evan Envi to the mat…and then he lifts Evan up again, slamming him over his knee with a backbreaker! The crowd gets behind Smith as sits atop Evan’s chest and begins to punch him over and over again.
Chase: POLICE BRUTALITY! Freaking Dirty Harry on steroids over here!
Harvey: Ohhhhh suuuuuuure…
The referee is forced to tell Smith to get off Evan, and the big man complies as he rises to his feet. He lifts Evan back to his feet and begins to Irish Whip him back into the corner Evan just suffered the spear and kicks in, but Evan reverses and Irish Whips Smith into the corner instead, from where he then dropkicks AC in the chest. Smith’s chest turns slightly red as he pulls himself from the corner, while Evan is gathering himself momentarily. Smith gets behind Evan and elbows him, then grabs him around the waist. The ex-cop then seems to have a change of tactics, and drops toward Evan’s legs, knocking them out from under him with a Russian legsweep. Evan lands on his back, looking up at Smith, who goes to stomp on him before Evan quickly rolls out of the way at the last second. The two approach one another, and Evan strikes first with a Calf Kick. He then grabs Smith’s arm, twists it, and then delivers a swinging neckbreaker. Evan wipes sweat from his eyes as AC Smith slowly recovers and gets back up. Envi grabs Smith and Irish Whips him against the ropes. Smith comes running back as Evan looks ready for something, but out of nowhere Smith responds with a running lariat.
Harvey: What a counter! This is what Rasslemania, and APW as a whole, is all about everyone. Every company should hope, should pray they are THIS fortunate to have athletes like these men.
Smith lifts Evan up from behind and grabs him by the abdomen. He promptly drops him with a reverse suplex, and as Evan’s body falls to the floor it inadvertently snaps up in a sitting position, from which AC Smith bounces off the ropes and comes back to his opponent with a BRUTAL knee to the face. Smith goes for the cover.
1 . . . 2 . . KICK OUT!
Smith lifts Evan up and Irish Whips him into another corner, where Evan comes face first against a turnbuckle. As he stands there idly, Smith runs at him and connects with an elbow to the back of Envi’s head. Smith takes hold of Evan and then Irish Whips him to the opposing corner. He then points at Evan and can visibly be seen saying “I’m coming for you, Evan” before stampeding at Evan, looking to spear him like before—BUT EVAN MOVES AWAY AT THE LAST SECOND, causing Smith to go through the turnbuckles and spear the steel post shoulder-first by mistake. Smith is clearly injured by this move as he awkwardly, painfully pulls himself away from the post and slumps down in the corner as Evan looks simply relieved to have a chance to breathe. But he doesn’t take long, instead rushing at Smith and delivering a rushing dropkick into Smith’s face, nearly knocking AC Smith out cold. Evan drags Smith out of the corner, pulls him to his staggering feet, and begins to blast left and right fists into AC’s head and face. Smith tries to counter at one point with a strike of his own, but Evan reverses the effort and knees Smith in the stomach. He goes for another kick, but Smith unintentionally stumbles and falls to one knee, and the kick soars past his head, which leads Evan to stumble a bit as he loses his balance. This gives Smith an opening, which he uses to grab Evan and Irish Whip him into a corner so hard, Evan bounces off the turnbuckle and back to the center of the ring. Smith then picks Evan up, and it looks like he might be going for the Big Apple Asskicker!
Harvey: This could be it!
Chase: No!
However, Smith is unable to full lift Evan up for the move, and Envi is able to slip back down to the floor, where he then lifts Smith up himself and brings him down for the Glamorous Ravaging. Evan takes the opportunity to lock his larger adversary into the Omoplata Crossface, and applies all the pressure he can. Smith is quickly able to jab his boots against the bottom rope, and the referee forces Evan to release the hold. Evan slams the mat, wanting desperately to put Smith away at this point, and he jerks him upward to where Smith is facing away. Evan goes for a forearm to the back of Smith’s head, but AC Smith counters the shot with an elbow. Evan is then nearly clocked with a hard right hand from Smith, but he is able to avoid the hit, putting AC into a standing headlock. He Irish Whips Smith into the closest corner, then pulls him out by his tights before hurling Smith back into the corner through the turnbuckles, shoulder-first into the steel post!
Harvey: Oh my God, right in the steel post again. And after Smith already hurt himself on that earlier!
Chase: Evan’s a tactician, man. Maybe Smith’s got some old gunshot injury Evan’s expertly exploiting.
Harvey: I doubt that, but Evan Envi is DEFINITELY exploiting Smith’s weakened state right now.
Smith has slumped into the corner once again, gritting his teeth and furrowing his brow in pain as he sits there, open to anything Evan decides. Evan proceeds to stomp onto Smith, making extra sure he connects with the injured shoulder. Grabbing the top rope, Evan applies more pressure as he forces his weight upon Smith’s shoulder. Evan finally lets go and walks around, stalking Smith who is forced to pull himself up, knowing if he waits too long Evan will capitalize further. Evan is able to capitalize all the same, however, as he DDTs Smith to the mat, and then delivers an elbow drop to Smith’s head. He then decides to drop another for good measure, though AC Smith is able to suffer less damage this time by moving away. He gets to his feet, but Evan is on the attack as he gets behind and wraps his arms around Smith’s waist. But then Smith counters with a Sidewalk Slam. The crowd cheers as Evan slithers about on his back in pain, and then Smith climbs on top of Evan, punching him in the face multiple times—though he noticeably hurts himself every time he uses his arm connected to the damaged shoulder. Nonetheless, he refuses to give in as he pounds on Evan’s face, perhaps intending to make sure Evan Envi loses some of his market value by losing his good looks. The referee is ultimately forced to pull Smith away, fearing he might beat Evan into unconsciousness, and Envi is able to get away to recover while Smith recovers as well.
Harvey: Something’s gotta give soon. These two men are fighting through all sorts of pain, because they know this might be the last chance to ever settle any old scores, and because this is Rasslemania X!
Envi is back on his feet, and Smith is ready to continue the fight. He goes to strike Evan, but Envi intercepts the move by the Big Apple Asskicker, and he delivers a knife-edge chop to Smith’s chest. He goes for Smith’s bad arm, twerking it in an agonizing fashion, and he is so able to injure Smith further that he brings the big man back to the mat, where Evan proceeds to perform a leg drop upon Smith’s arm/shoulder area. Evan promptly stomps onto Smith, who can hardly fight back at first, but he ultimately counters out and gets away from Evan’s nearly lethal kicks, and both men get back to their feet, coming face to face one more time as the camera glues in on their brief staredown. Smith kicks Evan in the gut, and then delivers a Samoan Drop onto Evan Envi. He starts to pull Evan up, but Envi counters with a straight punch to Smith’s stomach. From there Evan leaps up and pulls off a Hurricanrana that goes into a pin.
1 . . . 2 . . . 3—KICK OUT!!
Chase: SO CLOSE! GAH!
Envi gets up, and survival seems to inspire AC Smith to rise up as well. Evan charges at Smith, who proceeds to clothesline Evan at the last minute. Smith lifts Evan up, making a signal that the end is at hand, but Evan fights his way out of any attempts to end the match, successfully pulling off a Sit-Out Jawbreaker on Smith. Envi proceeds to carry out a rather malicious Running Knee Drop onto Smith’s injured shoulder, and then brings Smith up to his feet—now Evan signals the end is at hand, and yet Smith avoids it just as Envi did by pulling out a surprise Big Apple Slam!!
Harvey: HOLY COW!
Chase: NO! CHECK THE POLICE TAPE, YOU’LL SEE FOUL PLAY!!
Smith goes for the cover.
1 . . . 2 . . . 3--NO, KICK-OUT AND THE REF JUMPS UP TO REPORT IT WAS *NOT* THE MATCH-ENDING THREE-COUNT!!
Smith is nearly speechless, and the crowd is going nuts as Evan is panting desperately. Both men begin to drag themselves to their feet as an “A-P-W! A-P-W! A-P-W!” chant echoes throughout the arena. AC Smith and Evan Envi now begin to more or less break out into slow, breathless strikes against each other. Lefts and rights fly from each man against his opponent, nearly causing the ring to vibrate at one point, until Evan tries to break the pattern with a roundhouse kick of some sort, to which Smith grabs the boot in both hands, and then carries out a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Evan ends up in the corner from the move’s impact, and perhaps somewhat unwillingly he pulls himself up using the turnbuckles. He feels AC Smith put his hands on his shoulders, but then he counters and forces Smith into the corner instead. With his back to him in the corner, Evan yells out something incoherent, puts Smith into position, and delivers a Super German Suplex onto AC Smith, causing both men to crash and nearly splatter in the middle of the ring. Smith is holding his shoulder, while Evan holds his abdomen area in general. The referee begins to count, and for the first five seconds both men simply enjoy the breather. By the time the ref is shouting out “8,” however, both men are back on their feet. The two begin to circle around in the center of the ring sluggishly, but with vivid determination in both of their eyes. Like a Western stand-off neither makes a move, until finally they both close in, looking to bring their fight to its ultimate conclusion.
They lock up, pushing and straining with all their might, until Evan is able to break out and perform The Blues (Snap Double-Arm DDT) upon AC Smith. With Smith down, Evan wipes the sweat from his eyes and begins to pose in anticipated victory, while Smith weakly uses the ropes to pull himself up. Like a man possessed, Evan Envi makes one final gesture and shouts out “SAY GOODBYE!” as Smith is unaware. Evan runs for Smith, jerks him into position, and then floors the big man with The Guess Who! Not to settle for anything less on APW’s biggest stage, however, Evan then climbs to the top rope and points down to the barely conscious AC Smith. He then leaps from the top rope and connects with the Helter Skelter! But Evan, though bleeding from the mouth a little now, is still refusing to let APW forget he was there, as he takes ahold of AC Smith’s bad arm, and locks in the Arm Triangle finishing submission. He grunts and holds the move with straight-up viciousness, and the referee checks on Smith, finding the Big Apple Asskicker, though initially fighting with all the of his New York spirit, has fallen into unconsciousness, and there is no choice but to end the match once and for all. The referee calls for the bell, as the audience roars, nonetheless satisfied and impressed with the clinic these two warriors put on.
Winner: Evan Envi Tony: Here is you winner, by Knock-Out, "The Mega Mega Star"…EVAAAAAAAN ENVIIIIIIIII!!!Evan music plays and he stands up, standing over AC and the ref raises his arm. Harvey: What a match this was. Chase: I hope AC's arm isn't broken.
Evan celebrates as we go to a promo video

Tony: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 445 pounds, Chris Madison, Tommy Knox, they are the BLACK HAND!

As he enters the ring under the top rope, Knox rolls under the bottom rope. The two then walk to opposite corners and climb up. They look over the crowd and raise their arms in the air before hopping down and walking to their corner as the music slowly begins to fade. Tony: And their opponents, Introducing first.

As the song keeps playing, he looks out to the ring and bows gently, smiling to the crowd and making random hand gestures on the back of his steed. The crowd gives a mix of cheers and boos, to which Pope Delikado slowly rides down the ramp, giving Pope-like waves and cupping his hands in occasional prayer to the Wrestling Gods. Tony: From Pinar del Río, Cuba, weighing in at 169 pounds, he is DELIKADO!
Reaching the ring, Pope Delikado climbs off his horse and humbly kneels before it, saying a prayer, before he returns to his feet and addresses the crowd personally with kisses on the lips to the attractive women, pats on the head to the children, and a ‘Sup?’ head nod to everyone else. He ascends the stairs and enters the ring; once inside he stares out to the crowd, giving them his “blessing” with more random hand gestures. He proceeds to stand in place, removing his holy pope-like garments to reveal his wrestling attire underneath. Pope Delikado now waits for the match to start as he stands in the center of the ring, extends his arms at his side, and leans his head back to look up into the lights with closed eyes. Ahhhhhhhhmeeeeeeeeen! Tony: and his partner.
The lights in the arena shut off, as the chorus to "Labrinth" blasts through the speakers. After a few moments, out steps Kurt Noble, eliciting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Ferrari: The following bout is scheduled for ONE fall! IT’S SHOWTIME Chase: And these fans in Toronto have come unglued! Listen to this! Just five months after his horrific accident at the hands of Drake Mosa, Terry Marvin has come here to compete with longtime rival, Adrien Specter!Harvey: And many people are questioning the intelligence of our former APW Undisputed Champion. A lot of people are wondering if he has any business appearing before a live audience much less wrestling. At the beginning of the year, Terry Marvin was still learning how to walk again. How well could this go?The Lights in the arena Dim as the fans get to their feet with loud cheers while Nas’ “Hate Me Now” begins to blare through the loudspeakers as fireworks hit on the stage area just as Terry comes walking through the curtain with his his hands raised high in the air. He smiles, walking a bit slower than we’ve known him to in the past. He manages to reach out and slap a few hands during his descent toward the ring. Ferrari: Coming down to the ring now weighing in at two hundred and forty-five pounds and hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, please welcome, “The Real Show” TEEERRRYYY MAAAARRVIIIIN!He then walks down the ramp way jawing at all the fans in the first row before he slides into the ring, hopping onto his knees and holds his arms out to more cheers from the fans. With another slightly tired smile, he makes his way over to one turnbuckle and ascends to the middle, looking into the crowd. He does the same thing to the other three corners before heading back to the middle of the ring. After taking in that reaction for a few moments, Terry’s music is abruptly cut short and the lights in the arena dim dramatically. Ferrari: And his opponent…“Lilium” by Gryphon Chorus hits the PA system and the Toronto, Ontario crowd falls from cheers to a very evenly-divided reaction. The silhouette of Adrien Specter appears at the top of the ramp. He is flanked by four other men, though we aren’t able to see exactly who they are until the lights come into focus again. We see that Adrien, who looks down toward the ring with a stoic expression, is surrounded by arena security. Chase: Oh. Oh man. Are those real security guards?! Is “The Ghost” a bad, bad man?!Harvey: Adrien Specter spent months imprisoned in Mexico and some say that he was never the same after his release. Just a few weeks ago at Sin City Wrestling’s Cancun Clash, Specter was brought to the ring in chains.Chase: And he was booed out of the place!Harvey: Toronto seems to be a bit more open to the idea of Adrien…Chase: But not by much!Specter ascends the apron and looks out into the crowd with an arched brow. He shakes his head at a group of fans near the front that proudly boast signs that promote SCW competitor, Diego de la Vega, but Specter rolls his eyes and hops into the ring, never acknowledging the security guards that now pivot and make their way toward the back. Ferrari: In the ring, hailing from Brighton, England, weighing in at one hundred and seventy-five pounds, “The Ghost” ADRIEEENNN SPEECCTEEERRRR!Specter’s music dies and the crowd roars as the two men gaze across the ring at each other from opposite corners. The referee beckons each of them to the center and checks each men for weapons before calmly explaining the rules to each of them. Terry wears a smirk on his face as he looks into the eyes of the stoic “Ghost”, but both men nod in agreement after what seems like an eternity. Chase: Terry Marvin, Adrien Specter, one-on-one, FINALLY!Harvey: And there’s the bell!Terry Marvin vs Adrien Specter
The bell sounds and Marvin is immediately taken to a knee courtesy of a kick to the sternum from Specter! Terry Marvin gasps for air, but he is immediately Irish Whipped across the ring and caught with a series of open palm-strikes, followed by a European Uppercut and then a vicious Uppercut Palm Strike! Terry Marvin is thrown back against the ropes again and Specter takes him to the mat with a Snap Suplex! The crowd boos as Specter quickly sits back up, wearing a broad smile as he looks over at the fallen Terry.
Harvey: And just like that, Adrien Specter gets the better of “The Real Show!”
Chase: Blaaahhh, you said it yourself. Terry has no business working this match! It’s been thirty seconds and it looks like that Suplex could’ve killed him!
A ”TERRY!” chant begins to surface as Terry pushes himself up to all fours and then manages to stumble to his feet-- right into a left hand from Specter. Adrien Irish Whips Terry toward the turnbuckles, but the former Undisputed Champion reverses it! Adrien grunts as he collides sternum-first with the corner. He backs out and throws an elbow back toward Terry, but Marvin is able to duck and hook Specter for a Back Suplex! Terry goes for the slam, but Adrien flips over his shoulder and lands on his feet behind him! Terry turns around, swinging wildly for a Clothesline, but Adrien counters into a Swinging Neckbreaker and hops to his feet again, smiling down at Terry Marvin.
Harvey: Adrien knows Terry’s hurt, and it looks like he’s content with toying with him instead of going for a pinfall victory!
Chase: You say “toying”, but I think Adrien’s just picking his spot. He knows that no matter what condition Terry’s in, it’ll take more than that to keep him down. Give him some credit, ya ass!
Terry shakes the proverbial cobwebs out and glares, climbing first to a seated position, and then shakily to his knees again. Adrien Specter invites him forward for a lock-up, but Terry sprints forward going for a wild right hand. Specter ducks under the hook and spins Terry around, driving a boot into his gut and then drolling to a seated position himself, nailing a throat thrust! The crowd boos the tactic and Terry coughs, staggering back… and Specter is up to his feet again, hopping onto Terry’s shoulders and sending him head-over-heels for a Frankensteiner! Terry rolls across the ring and stops at the ropes, nearly propelling himself out of the ring. He uses the ropes to pull himself up, but as he turns, Adrien charges forward and nails a Front Dropkick right between the eyes! Terry flails as he’s thrown back into the ropes, bouncing face-first into the canvas again!
Harvey: SCW Sinner Adrien Specter is just DISSECTING T-Marv right now!
Chase: I don’t think Terry knows where he is. I knew this was a bad idea!
Harvey: ...really? You were all gung-ho about this match until--
Chase: YAAAAAADDDAAA YAAADDDAA…
Adrien Specter pulls Terry up by the hair, but raises a hand to feign innocence as the referee begins to scold him. He transitions Terry into a side headlock instead and pulls him away from the ropes, dropping down to a knee. The crowd tries to get behind the former Undisputed Champion, but Adrien shakes his head at them and twists Terry’s neck in an awkward angle, pulling back on the hold for a few seconds before throwing Terry over his hip with a standing side headlock takedown! Adrien takes a dramatically deep breath as if just putting forth a monumental effort. He shoots the ropes and comes back as Terry pushes himself up onto his elbows-- driving a vicious boot right into Terry’s temple!
Harvey: My God! I thought this match was supposed to be between two sportsmen!
Chase: Well, Adrien’s going for the first cover of the match here and it doesn’t look like he cares about how we got here!
ONE! . . . . . TWO! . . . . .
Harvey: And Terry kicks out right before the three!
Terry sits up, but finds himself caught in another side headlock by Adrien Specter. Adrien shakes his head as another ”TERRY!” chant begins to develop within the crowd. With a grunt, he forces Terry to his feet and walks him toward the ropes. Violently, Adrien swings Terry through the middle and top ropes, sending him roughly to the apron. Terry gasps for air and uses the ropes to crawl up to his feet again… but Adrien drives a knee into his gut through the ropes and forces him into the ring by the hair. Keeping him in a front facelock for a moment he nods to the crowd as they begin to roar in a mixed reaction.
Chase: Adrien’s looking for Vene Vidi Vici off the ropes!
Harvey: No-- look!
Terry steps into the ring, and with a heavy grunt he forces Adrien Specter overhead and down to the floor below! Specter crashes roughly spine-first to the floor and his mouth opens in a silent “O” of agony. He twitches as he uses the barricade to pull himself up, failing to see Terry Marvin ascending the turnbuckles while the crowd reaches a deafening level. Terry turns his back toward Specter, but shakily rises to a standing position at the top…
Harvey: He hasn’t been able to gain any offense this entire match, and now-- no-- Terry, don’t do this!
Chase: Looks like Maggie Marvin’s about to be a widow!
Terry leaps from the top, twisting through the air and landing on top of Adrien Specter with a Corkscrew Moonsault to the outside! A ”HOLY SHIT!” chant surfaces through the crowd once it becomes evident that neither man is moving! The referee slides out of the ring, shaking them, and Terry jolts awake, rolling away from Specter, though he clearly has no clue where he is!
Harvey: Terry’s knee went right between Specter’s eyes… I don’t think either man knows what’s going on!
The referee guides Terry toward the apron as Terry finally makes his way to his feet, but Terry collapses against the ring. He turns and shoots a dazed look at Adrien Specter, who crawls toward the steel steps. Terry makes his way toward Adrien, against the referee’s wishes, and weakly launches him against the steps. Adrien stumbles, grunting in pain, and shoots a glare at Terry as he crawls into the ring… but Adrien is after him only a moment together, driving hard knees and elbows into the skull of the grounded Marvin.
Harvey: Specter’s game has been complete ruthlessness so far! Every time Terry seems to be ready to gain some offense, Adrien Specter’s right there to cut it off!
Chase: This is almost getting uncomfortable. He’s making Terry regret ever crawling out of that hospital bed.
Adrien backs into the turnbuckles and elevates himself to the second rope, casting a long gaze into the mainly booing audience. He takes a deep breath and glances down toward Terry Marvin, measuring him until he reaches his feet. Specter sails from the top rope, going for an elbow toward the top of Terry’s head-- but Marvin ducks! He drives a closed fist into Specter’s gut and Specter groans in agony… only to be caught and leveled with a Side Effect a moment later! Terry hooks both legs and the referee slides in to make the count!
ONE! . . . . TWO! . . . . THRR-- Kickout!
Harvey: Terry with the Side-Effect out of nowhere and he almost had him!
Specter gasps for air as he shoves Terry off of him. The audience seems to be solely in the corner of Marvin at this point and Specter, red-faced, glares at Terry, motioning for him to give him more. He climbs to his feet and Terry charges forward with a roar, going for a Lariat, but Specter nails a Step-Up Enzuigiri! The sheer force of the move, and the sound that echoes throughout the arena are enough to make the crowd go hushed! Terry stumbles, but Specter roars and reaches forward, grabbing Terry by the neck and spiking him into the ground with a Snap DDT!
Chase: IT’S OVER!
Harvey: These people wanted Vene Vidi Vici, but they got that instead! Terry Marvin might be unconscious!
Adrien Specter pushes Terry over onto his back and hooks the far leg while the referee drops down for the count.
ONE! . . . . . TWO! . . . . . THHRRRRRRRRRRRE…!
Chase: Marvin kicks out!
Toronto explodes as Terry’s shoulder shoots off of the canvas. He reaches an arm out, reaching for anything, but an agitated Specter grabs his fingers and pulls them back. Terry screams out in agony again and Specter mounts him, driving hard forearms and elbows into the nose and mouth of the former APW Megastar. Marvin becomes unable to defend himself from the onslaught after a few seconds and the referee begins to administer a five-count, warning “The Ghost” of his impending disqualification. Adrien stops his assault at the count of four and slowly pulls himself off of Terry, glaring into the booing masses once more.
Harvey: Terry Marvin’s been resilient, but this match… it wasn’t meant to be! Terry can barely defend himself!
Chase: And now we’re closing in on the end. Maybe that’s for the best.
Harvey: For Terry Marvin’s sake, I hope it is. And I CERTAINLY hope that Adrien Specter is proud of himself after this. I’m disgusted.
Chase: No one told Terry to drag himself out here, Harv!
Adrien Specter forces Terry up once more and lifts him as if going for a Spinebuster but contorts Terry and positions him for the Vertebreaker instead. Adrien grins as many in the audience begin to herald him for his strength as he makes his way toward the center of the ring with Marvin on his back…
Chase: Terry’s about to go SIX… FEET… UNDDEE--
Harvey: Look at Marvin!
Terry squirms free until he eventually drops down, roughly, landing on his back behind Adrien! Specter turns around and reaches down to grab Terry again-- but Terry pulls Adrien down on top of him, but quickly locks in the Gogoplata Choke! The crowd roars and Adrien Specter squirms, writhing, gasping for air, flailing miserably in an attempt to escape!
Chase: WHAAAAT!
Harvey: Performance Anxiety! Performance Anxiety! Aurora Jansen helped Terry Marvin perfect this move last year and now Adrien Specter’s caught!
Adrien Specter crawls, pulling Terry inches across the ring as he reaches for the ropes. His hand remains outstretched even as his eyes begin to grow bloodshot and haze over. He wriggles his fingers, but the ropes don’t come any closer…
Harvey: Specter’s gonna have to tap out in Performance Anxiety!
Chase: No! He has this!
Specter tries once more and gives one final grunt as he pulls himself and Terry closer to the ropes, but he still falls about six inches short. With no alternative, Adrien taps loosely on the mat to an eruption from the crowd. Terry pushes Adrien away and rolls onto his back, allowing the referee to signal for the bell and raise the shaken Terry’s hand in the air.
Ferrari: Ladies and gentlemen… Here is your winner… TERRRRRRRRYYYY MAAARRVVIIIIINNN! Harvey: He did it! Terry Marvin was abused this entire match, but somehow he dug deep and he managed to lock Adrien Specter in Performance Anxiety for the win!Chase: I have no idea how this happened. Adrien HAD him. He HAD him the whole match! Harvey: Ha. That’s what happens when you bleed ‘Dubya!Chase: Ew. That’s… you’re still corny.Terry sits upright in the ring, looking across at Adrien Specter who pulls himself up on the outside, using the barricade. Adrien doesn’t look toward Terry for a moment, but finally shoots a look of acknowledgement in his direction, offering a nod, before turning and making his way up the ramp. Terry continues to sit in the middle of the ring in obvious pain. Harvey: Congratulations to Terry Marvin! This was a hard-fought victory and a feather in the cap of Action Packed Wrestling if you ask me.Chase: Yeah, well, let’s hope Terry’s still able to walk after this match. HOPE IT WAS WORTH IT!We fade away as Terry smiles at the Toronto crowd surrounding him that continue to fill the air with ”TERRY!” chants. Backstage, Delikado is seen walking along the hallway and then into the locker-room. Several other members of the roster and staff eyeball the Cuban as he nonchalantly goes for his bags. Delikado: Match is done and gone. Got my paycheck, I’m OUT! See you in the freelance world, bitches. Suddenly, Jimmy Gooch walks up to Delikado and takes the bag from his hand. Jimmy Gooch: Not so fast, Delikado. You don’t get to walk out that door freely. We’ve all heard about what you’ve done, the papers you’ve signed. Traitors, men who belittle and claim to despise wrestling as you have, don’t deserve to seek or possess employment in this business. Not anywhere. The rest of the room mutters in agreement as Delikado cocks an eyebrow. Before he can respond, two police officers approach him from behind and grab hold of the Cuban. Officer: Hector Nero Maravilloso. You are under arrest for high treason against the world…of wrestling. Delikado puts up a struggle, jerking his arms away from the cops come to take him away. He grunts and finally breaks free long enough to glare at everyone in the room in a broad scan. Delikado: “Traitor?” ME?! I AM NO TRAITOR!! I only tell FACTS, and if you looked inside yourselves, you would see that Delikado is the most honest, loyal man there is! In wrestling AND BEYOND! Look at yourselves, then back to me and what I have done, and then answer: Is Delikado a traitor? All: Oh hell yeah!Someone throws a water bottle at the Cuban’s head, igniting an angry firestorm of words against Delikado. The Cuban Warrior’s eyes widen as the yelling rises so high in intensity, he cannot even speak over it. The police officers grab the stunned man by his arms and pull him out of the APW locker-room as everyone yells, points, jeers, etc. in anger and defiance to Deli’s treachery. The camera focuses one last time on Jimmy Gooch’s face as he smiles in victory. Jimmy Gooch: And so the student surpasses the teacher. Like a Bawse!Delikado: DELIKADO IS NO TRAITOR!! HE IS NOT!! HE IS ONLY A GOD!! A LEGEND!!! WRESTLING’S GREATEST!!! YOU CANNOT CALL ME TRAITOR!!!All: *chanting* TRAITOR! TRAITOR! TRAITOR! TRAITOR!Delikado: WRONG! NUH-UH! NOT A TRAITOR!! DELIKADO’S NOT!!The camera follows the Cuban as he is now dragged outside the arena and brought to a large cage on wheels. Delikado: No! That is not a limousine! That is a cage! A...Oh Wrestling Gods, a "Delikado Escape-Proof Cage of Traitors!" I thought I destroyed the only one! No! NOO!! NOOOOOOO!!!The officers chain Delikado up and throw him inside the cage. He falls face-first onto the hard, rusty metal, and stands up as the door slams shut behind him and is locked. Delikado breathlessly grabs hold of the bars and stares out ahead with a horrified expression. He looks for any sign of assistance or sympathy…when he spots his former League brothers, alongside the many allies of Delikado’s Deli Tee Vee empire. Delikado: Envi! Call for the police, Delikado’s being kidnapped! Havok! Havok! Kill those cops and SAVE ME! Gooch! Goochie, roll your fat body over here and break down these bars! Eat them or something. We can STILL reunite and tear the world of wrestling apart with our greatness! We are warriors! Let's fight! DO IT! NOW, MOTHERF—The three proceed to give Delikado a simultaneous flipping of the bird before they turn and walk away, leaving Delikado to his fate. The Cuban proceeds to turn to his old employees. Delikado: Fine! Screw those guys! Delikado was gonna turn on them anyway! Sofia, Carringtons, freaking Giant Spooky Apple! One of you show your loyalty and free your savior! Fetch "The Law", he will see that I have a contract to be honored! Jet Carrington: Yeah, the contract where you said you hated wrestling and were all evil "personality-stealer" and shit, and ultimately sold all of US out so *we’d* be in the position *you’re* in now!Moss Carrington: Just so you would avoid going to prison for everything you’ve done over the years! Some kinda “24” Presidential immunity deal! Screw you!Delikado: Oh c’moooon guuuuuuys! Delikado says words and stuff all the tiiiiime, it doesn’t mean they’re truuuuue. They don’t mean anything, words and what I said, what I did haha. See…uhhh… It was a trick, yeah, a scam that Delikado was planning! I merely took on a different persona, Super Serious Evil Delikado. Heh, clearly I'm great at it, you were all so fooled! You were never in any actual harm! We were all gonna get off scot-free with me like the old days if you’d just let me work. You’ll see, now RELEASE ME—Sofia Monzón: Is that so? Then what about this SECOND contract you signed where you promised you weren’t planning or scamming or trying to trick anyone to get off scot-free? The one that says you would HAPPILY sell us all out, and if you actually WERE trying to deceive The Law, you would nullify the immunity deal and go to prison!Delikado: PFFT! That scumbag Lawman’s not here to hear that! Finger’s crossed, bitches! Hell, even that name, “Harold Nero whatevseies” was a lie! Made up! I’m Delikado through and through, baby! Now PUH-LEASE strangle these two young officers of the law and break Delikado out of—The Law: I heard that. I heard it all.The camera turns as The Law steps forward, but it doesn’t seem to phase Delikado initially. Delikado: Suck my nuts, copper. Nobody’s gonna believe you over me. You gots no hard proofs! That I, Delikado, was going to trick you and everyone in order to break away and do chaos again, unmolested, in the world of wrestling for all time. Mwhahahahaha!…And then The Law holds up a tape recorder and plays back Delikado’s words. As the recorded evil laugh rings out, the Cuban shrugs. Delikado: Ha. That can clearly be proven to have been Photoshopped. Duh. Stupid! Got anything else? The Law: Well, all your friends and a bunch of people in APW have agreed to testify against you. Some of them have pretty detailed, compelling stories to tell.Delikado: Then I will have them murdered to death. People die every day, fool. Sometimes in groups! The Law: There’s also the fact that you’ve been saying all of this into a camera that is broadcasting live on Pay-Per-View the past five minutes. And finally Delikado’s face drops all its previous smugness. Delikado: Oh………………………………..CRAP!The Law: Indeed. So I’m gonna tear up all contracts letting you go free. Instead, you’re gonna go to prison, maybe even get executed, and uh, you are hereby banned from ever wrestling in a company, promotion, federation, even one-time shows of any sort, both presently and for all eternity in the future.Delikado: What about the past? The Law: …..No. Your career is over, Delikado. Goodbye. Goodbye forever. Deli Tee Vee: GOODBYE DELIKADO!!!Everyone takes a mock bow to Delikado as the Cage of Traitors is wheeled off. Da Bawse grips hold of the bars and stares out in defeated silence as his ex-friends and associates all wave farewell. The camera remains glued on the once great Cuban as he is hauled off to prison, out of APW and out of professional wrestling forever…

Harvey: Ladies and gentlemen, thank-you for joining us here at Rasslemania X - the final APW show, the culmination of years of blood sweat and tears.Chase: And with two matches to go, there may well be a whole lot more of that.Harvey: You’re not wrong.
Chase. And, with the penultimate match about to start … emerging from 4 years of continued feud … well, it can only end with one winner. The crowd is buzzing with anticipation for the coming match. On cue, the lights take on a blue tinge and 'TroubleMaker' hits the speakers. This sets the crowd off: everyone knows who this is leading up to. As the song bursts to life, out races Sally, racing to the front of the stage. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd that hangs over the rails for her. Paige: Making her way to the ring this evening, weighing in at a sublime one-hundred and forty pounds … standing in at five feet and ten inches of perfection … this is Sally Talfourd!Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, waving to the crowd as she is announced. When that's done, she dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top ring and bounces to the centre of the ring. Poses for the crowd as the lights return to normal and the music fades out. The crowd still cheers for the adorable Sally as she starts to stretch for the match. Harvey: And here we have the undoubted fan favourite for this match: Sally Talfourd.''Almost famous'' by Eminem hits the PA system resulting in a stirring of the crowd. Several seconds later, Level-One steps out from behind the curtains cam corder in hand. He holds it up to his face and points it straight down at the ring before panning around at the rest of the crowd. As he walks down the ramp, he points the cameras in the faces of the fans whom are scowling with anger. Paige: Weighing in at 263 points from Toronto, Ontario, Canada currently residing in Hollywood, California! Please welcome... Level-One!!!!Level-One continues down the ramp and as the crowd boos he shouts over them into the camera - seeing it as the opportune time to create a blog for his Youtube channel on his way to the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope and sticks the video camera in the referee's face telling him that he's going to face hell from Hollywood if he doesn't do his job. With that he leans against the ropes and casually continues to create his video blog, waiting for the match to get underway. Harvey: The match APW has been waiting for! A full two years in the making!SINGLES MATCH
Sally Talfourd vs. Level-One Both wrestlers make for the centre of the ring and stare down. A few words are exchanged before they both lock up. As Level-One gets the advantages, Sally pulls out and steps back with a smile on her face. Level-One has some choice words for her. Two two get closer, still mouthing off to each other. Chase: After all this time, they’ve still go things to say to each other.Suddenly Level-One wipes bursts out with a clotheslines. Sally ducks, darts through, then comes out behind with a go at a spinning wheel kick. Level-One is too quick, steps back, waits for Sally to get through the kick, then charges her. They hit the mat, but Sally manages to roll to the side. She darts backwards as Level-One jumps to his feet. They both start to circle the ring now, locked eye. Harvey: Sally can only run for so long.Chase: She might be running, but it’s to her advantage to play the long game. The circles get tighter and tighter before Level-One can dive at Sally, locking around her waist. He moves Sally into a headlock, then takes her down to the with a headlock takeover. Seated for just the moment, Sally’s able to double up her legs, lock on to Level-One’s head and roll him down to the mat. Level-One rolls through though, coming to the fighting position as Sally springs herself back to her feet, and we’re back to square one. Harvey: You can feel the tension here!Chase: Three attempts to start and each time, they’ve got nowhere. Level-One wastes no time this go around, rushing in and locking up with Sally. Level-One wins the contest, moves Sally into a hammerlock. He pulls Sally into the centre, forces her arm further up her back. Sally lets out a cry, trying to slap the feeling into her shoulder as she struggles to the ropes. She gets a hand on them, the ref count to 3 and Level-One is off her. Sally rolls her shoulder over, trying to loosen up and get rid of the damage, then turns into a stiff kick to the gut. She doubles over, grabbing at herself. Level-One forces her down to the mat again with a hammerlock and then forces her arm further up her back and holds it there with his knee. He starts laying in hits to her shoulder, Sally crying out. Her then pulls back on her hair, forcing her head up. As the ref starts the count, Level-One yells something at Sally. At the 4 he lets go, stands up, and backs off. Harvey: Level One better be careful or he could get disqualified. That’s the last way he wants to end his time here!Chase: He knows he has to a count of 5. He’s using every second he has.Sally is up, stretching out her shoulder. Level-One is straight after her again. This time she is quick enough to step around him and then, as he turns after her, Sally hits Level-One with a forearm strike across the chest. As Level-One steps back, Sally follow up with a backhand chop, followed by a second and then a third. Level-One is near to the ropes. Sally goes around him, springboards off the second rope, comes off with a springboard bulldog, both of them hitting the mat. ‘The Last Magician’ rolls through, up to her feet, and hits Level-One with a leg drop. She rolls through and readies for a second, but Level-One rolls away. Sally hits the mat hard, grabs her leg with a grimace. Level-One rolls up and goes Sally on the mat. Gets her in a headlock. Pulls her to her feet. Modifies his hold and gets up her up in a vertical suplex. Sally comes down to the mat hard as Level-One grabs at his face. Sally rolls over, grabbing her back as she makes her way to the ropes. Harvey: Level-One has always had the strength and size advantage over Sally, ever since they first started.Chase: But Sally is a fighter. We’ve seen it as long as they’ve been fighting: She hasn’t backed down from any of his challenges.Level-One grabs Sally’s hand and whips her across to the other side of the ring. Sally comes off the ropes,, Level-One coming after her. She’s got sense enough to light up the leg and connects her foot square into the face of Lester. Sally runs for the ropes again, comes off and into the side of Level-One with a sliding kick. With a flurry of action, caught in the moment, Sally darts to the top rope. Level-One is back up to his feet then turns blind into a missile dropkick. They’re both back on the mat, Sally goes to to lock on a front chancery. Level-One forces the two to their feet, then pushes Sally off and into the ropes. Sally ducks a clothesline attempt from Level-One, comes off the next set of ropes and takes him down again with a leg lariat! The fans are going wild, Level-One is down on the mat. Sally is in for the very earlier pin. 1 … kick out. Level-One shoves Sally off, then is up to his feet fast. He catches Sally with a kick to the gut, then connects with a DDT. Sally hits the mat as Level-One rolls over, stands, and starts stalk his opponent. As she makes her feet, Level-One whips Sally into the corner and follows her in with a clothesline. Sally stumbles out, Level-One catches her, arms around her. Belly-to-belly suplex! Level-One goes to stand over an unmoving Sally, then starts laying in kicks. She manages to get to the ropes and the ref has to force Level-One off. Sally pulls herself up with the ropes, the ref holds Lester back until Sally is ready. Level-One is in again, kick to the stomach and sets up for a German suplex. Reversed, as Sally links arms with Level-One and goes for a backslide. Level-One lowers his weight to stop it. Sally keeps it going and sits down on the mat, arms still linked. Level-One sits. Sally lets go and gets a stiff elbow to the side of Level-One's head, giving herself enough time to burst up, come off the ropes and connecting with a Shining Wizard! Harvey: Sally getting the upper hand here.Chase: My boy will come good, just you see.Level-One is down on the mat, Sally pulls herself up. She climbs to the top rope, waiting. Level-One finally makes his feet. Sally signals for a missile dropkick. Level-One charges at her, gets up to the second rope, and starts laying blows into Sally. She sits down on the turnbuckle. Level-One goes back for a strike. Sally gets a stiff knee into his face. Level-One steps down to the mat. Sally wraps around his head. Tornado DDT! Level-One is back on the mat. Sally rolls him over to his front then lays some strikes into his shoulder. She gets a modified clutch locked in, leveraging all her weight into the hold. Sally pulls back from under Level's chin. Level-One yells out in pain. Sally holds the chin lock for as long as she can, shifting her weight back and forward. Chase: Hold on Level-One!Harvey: If Sally’s the one that holds on, this match might end a lot sooner than we all thought!Level-One finally reaches around, catches Sally’s foot and pulls it out under her. Sally falls, Level-One rolls away, grabbing his neck. Sally is up first and looks to take advantage. She comes from over him, but Level-One pulls her in for a triangle choke! Sally tries to get free by slipping the extra arm in. Level-One stills locks her in, wrapping his legs around her. Sally looks to be fading, but keeps to her feet rather than going to her knees. From this position, she can carefully step to the side and finally get a leg onto the rope. The ref counts to 4 before Level-One finally lets go. Sally is quick to get out, sucking in deep breaths. Harvey: Sally is giving everything she has in this match. She’s not quitting.Chase: It just goes to show how important this final showdown is to both of them.Level-One holds his neck as he gets to his feet. Sally comes after him, but gets a hard blow to the face. Sally spins around, Level-One in with a belly-to-back suplex. Sally hits the mat. Level-One is fired up, pulls Sally up straight away, sends her up in a stalling suplex. Sally comes crashing down into the mat. He pulls her up again, whips her to the ropes, and collects her with a backbreaker as she comes back to the centre of the ring. Level-One looks a little worn after that flurry of moves, kneeling over Sally for a few extra moment before rolling her into a pin. 1 … 2 … kick out. Sally gets a shoulder up. Level-One brings Sally up by her hair and then whips into the ropes. Sally comes off, ducks under his clothesline attempt, then comes off the rope with another dragon whip! Level-One falls to the mat, Sally not far beside him. She is slow to her feet, grabbing her back in pain. Harvey: Looks like the match is starting to take its toll on Sally now.Sally now tries to get herself back to fitness, waiting for Level-One to get up. When he makes it to his all fours, Sally dives in with a front face lock. She works Level-One up, then falls backwards, driving Level-One's face into her knee with a facebreaker DDT! Level-One bounces off, steps back, and stumbles back to the ropes. Sally is up off the mat quickly, albeit with a grimace, and goes after Lester again. She goes for the Implant Buster, but Level-One knocks her arms away and then hits her with a savage clothesline that spins in the air on the way to the mat. Chase: Savage hit by Level-One! That might nearly have knocked Sally out!He pulls Sally up again and sends her back into the mat with a German suplex. Pulls her up again, whips her to the ropes, and takes her down with a big boot. Up again, into the ropes, and hits her with a running spine buster! Sally looks out of it on the mat. Level-One backs off, collecting himself and slowing down the match. He rolls her up for a pin. 1 … 2 … kick out! Somehow Sally has enough to get a shoulder up. Harvey: There’s still fight left in Sally! She’s not giving this match up without her biggest fight!Chase: Good for her … but its just a matter of time now before Level One puts her away. Level-One rolls off, then kneels over her and starts reigning blows down on her face. She covers up as best she can. The ref is in, breaks up the contest. He separates Level-One, who has a sadistic smile as he looks down at Sally now. Sally struggles to her feet, leaning up on the ropes and looking worse for wear. Level advances, yelling at her and pointing to the crowd. He grabs Sally by the chin, making her look at him. Sally, in a flurry of moves, slaps Lester’s hand away, gets a stiff hit to the gut, and hits a inverted stomp facebreaker! Level-One is back on the mat, Sally seated in the ring. She's looking worn down at the moment. She crawls over for a pin. 1 … 2 … kick out! Level-One pushes Sally off again to get out of the pin. Exhausted, Sally struggles to get to her feet. The crowd rallies behind her, chanting “Sally! Sally!” Level-One, holding his jaw, gets himself up before Sally can. As she makes her feet, Level-One is on her, trying to lock her up and force her back to the mat. Sally presses her advantage in her smaller size and slips through, from behind Lester, she is able to lay in a couple of blows to his back and right shoulder, getting him into the ropes. Lester throws back an elbow, catches Sally in the jaw. She stumbles back, holding her jaw now. Lester charges at her with a clothesline. Everyone sees the smile across his face as he brings her down to the mat, following her down. Again, and still with that smile, he kneels over her and rains blows down on her. The ref is in to try and break it up. Chase: Lester is going to destroy Sally before he pins her!
Harvey: What sort of way is that to finish their last ever match! It’s disrespectful! It’s criminal!Chase: It also works! Have you know Level-One to do it differently? With one last almighty blow, rests back on his knees to catch his breath. Sally hardly moves underneath him. Finally, after his short rest, Level-One goes in for a cross face chicken wing. Summoning what strength she has left, Sally scrambles to links her arms, preventing him from getting it on. He beats away at her hands, but realizes Sally isn't about to easily let go. He makes his feet, Sally starts to crawl away, but goes nowhere fast. He pulls her up. Belly-to-belly suplex. Sally is back on the mat. Chase: Perfect form from Level-One there! It was only a matter of time before the greatest wrestler came back on show!Harvey: From the sounds of that, I guess you’re still on the Level-One payroll.Level-One waits for her, Sally makes it to her knees. Pulls her up the rest of the way. Short backbreaker over his knee. He holds her there and puts blows into her abdomen. Sally cries out, then is rolled off and down to the mat. Level-One signals for Sally’s end, then hooks Sally in for the Level Advance! The two come crashing down into the Mat, Sally taking the brunt of it all with a cry of pain. Level-One in for another pin. 1 ….. 2 … kick out! At the very last moment, Sally gets enough of her shoulder up! The crowd goes wild. Sally coughs, violently shaking her whole body as Level-One sits up, pure rage across his face. Harvey: Sally is still in this! All it takes is one mistake from Level One and its over.Chase: Level One won’t make a mistake, not tonight! This is where it all ends!Level-One is back up to his feet quicker than Sally. He lays in some kicks as she tries to get up. Then, when she's prone on the mat, her pulls her up, taking control of his opponent and his match. Harvey: This doesn’t look good for Sally. It looks like that kick out was all she could manage! He sets her up for the Level Advance again, but Sally is able to get out, slip through the arms and stumble back to the ropes. Lester is quick to go after her. He gets near enough for Sally to take a swing at him, catching him with enough of a chop to shock him. Again, another one. And then a third. None powerful enough to put him away, but enough to get him away from her. The crowd starts to rally behind her. Another chop. The crowd gets louder. Harvey: Here comes Sally’s secret weapon … the weapon that has got her through all her matches here in APW … the fans are joining her! With an almightily scream, Sally rushes in with a quick burst of chops and forearms to the head. She gets in a spinning wheel kick in. Level-One is back on the ropes. Sally is drawing deep breaths now, but the frenzy in her eyes suggests all her pain is being masked by the adrenaline course through her now. The crowd is deafening. Chase: Get her Level-One! End this match!Harvey: This might be Sally’s last opportunity to put her old foe away now!Sally races to the opposite ropes, comes off them and connects with a crossbody! Lester attempts to catch her, but the impact is enough to take them down to the mat. Sally rolls over, clasping her stomach in pain. Level-One is trying to shake the pain off on all fours. Sally is up. So is Lester. Lester charges at Sally. Sally jumps and grabs Lester by the head, gets the knees up for the Implant Buster! Level-One spills, back, Sally hits the mat on her back, still grabbing herself in pain. The ref starts to count both of them out. Harvey: It can’t end like this! The ref gets to 6 before there’s a stir from both of them, and by the 8, both megastars are on their feet. Level-One has to hold his jaw as he comes at Sally, but with only one hand available, Sally is able to hit it away, get a kick into the gut, race for the ropes and comes off with the Happy Ending! The springboard moonsault takes Level-One down. Sally hooks his leg. 1 ….. 2 ….. kick out! Chase: Oh my gosh! Thank-you Level-One!Harvey: Sally has the match in her hand now. Can she deliver the finish every single fan seems to be willing on here???Sally, a daze, running on instinct, stumbles back to the corner, resting on the turnbuckle. One arm wraps across her stomach, the other wiping her face. Level-One begins to stir. Get starts to get up. He makes his feet, but staggers back down to one knee. That’s when Sally sees her chance. She races in, jumps onto Level-One’s back. She locks her legs around one arm, her upper body against the other. Standing head scissors arm bar! Harvey: Sally’s locked in the Chip on the Shoulder!Chase: Get out of it, Level-One! Get out!Lester stands, lifting Sally with all his energy. The crowd is on their feet, astounded that Level-One still has the strength, hoping he doesn’t have enough to power out. With a guttural scream, he starts to power his arms together, stretching Sally across his shoulders. Sally yells back, wrenching the arms back. Level-One edges to the ropes, but can’t hook anything to get the ref to count Sally off! In desperation, he rolls back, crushing Sally between him and the mat. Sally tries to hold on, but eventually Lester is able to break off and roll through. Sally and Lester are exhausted, lying on the mat. Chase: That’s it! Sally’s done! A finisher and her submission and she still couldn’t do it!Harvey: Level-One’s in no shape to make any advantage out of it!Level tries to get up, but the toll on his shoulders see him struggle to do so. Sally, grabbing at her back now, sits up on the ropes, then agonises as she pulls herself to her feet. Both wrestlers stare at each other, sweat dripping off their faces. There’s a last exchange of words between the two as Level-One comes at Sally, looking to scoop her off the ropes. Sally pulls herself along the ropes, gets Level-One as she gets her feet onto the adjacent second ropes, wraps Level-One’s head and comes off with a swinging reverse STO - The Makeover! Harvey: Makeover! Makeover! Makeover!Chase; No! No! No!!!Harvey: it’s got to be over!Sally falls with Level-One but has sense enough to hook the leg. 1 ….. 2 ….. kick out! The fans can’t believe it! Sally can’t believe it! Millions around the world can’t believe it! She tries again! 1 ….. 2 ….. kick out! The ref consols Sally as she collapses off Level-One. But she doesn’t rest for long. With soft legs, wavering balance, she gets up. She looks around to the fans. Down at Level-One. Back up with the happiest smile you’ve ever seen. She digs deep - deeper than she’s dug before - runs for the ropes, comes off them, and lands the Happy Ending! Harvey: Happy Ending! Chase: Oh no …Harvey: Could it be!?Sally lays across Level-One. She hooks both legs. The ref slides in. 1 ….. 2 ….. 3! The bell rings. The fans erupt. Winner: Sally Talfourd Paige: Your winner this evening: ‘The Last Magician’ Sally Talfourd!!!Sally lies there, stunned. Amazed. Exhausted. The ref tried to get in, separate the two wrestlers and to get Sally to her feet. Sally, manages to get there herself, and then covers her face with both hands before collapsing to her knees again. The ref comes in close to her, putting a hand across her shoulders. She looks up to the crowd, tears streaming down both her cheeks now. Harvey: If ever there was going to be an emotional finish to a match …Sally still smiles. The ref runs back to check on Level-One. The fans are on their feet, applauding both the win and the competition. Sally gets to her feet, her arms down by her side, taking it all in. The ref gets Level-One to sit up, and it doesn’t take long to for it all to sink in to him. Chase: There’s no arguing about it: Both competitors gave it everything they had here.Harvey: A close finish, that’s for sure. It didn’t just come down to who had more or who wanted it the most … it came down to pure will. The will of Sally … the will of the fans.Sally pulls herself up each of the turnbuckles, posing for the crowd before stepping down with a wave and blowing them all a kiss. After the fourth, she turns to find Level-One in the centre of the ring. He is far from pleased. The two just stare at each other. No words. No shots. Just a stare. Sally holds out her hand for Level-One. The crowd cheers, erupting into a frenzy. Lester looks at the hand, at Sally, and the fans … and starts to turn his back on it all. Sally doesn’t look surprised. But as he turns, he quickly brushes Sally’s hand with his own. Sally smiles, and maybe Level-One did too. The fans certainly loved the smallest of gestures. With his head hung, Level-One rolls out of the APW ring for the very last time, leaving Sally in the middle taking in the moment. Harvey: A fitting end. A truly fitting end.Sally waves out to the fans, the fans cheer “Sally! Sally! Sally” back to her. The moment is unreal. We go to a commercial of some of APW best moments

Harvey: Welcome back everyone. Last weekend was a special night.
Chase: That’s right. We inducted 5 Megastars into the APW Hall of Fame, Class of 2014.
Harvey: It was a sold out Air Canada Center here in Toronto as the Hall of Famers shared some of their memory and what this means to them.
Chase: Lets take a look back at some of the moments from the ceremony.
A video package begins to play where we see Nicky Paige on the Hall of Fame Stage.
Nicky: Welcome to the 2014 Hall of Fame Ceremony. The place where Megastars become legends.
A scene cuts to CJ Gates at the Podium
CJ: This person did what no other woman could do, winning both the Undisputed and World Title. Winning Test for the Best. And she helped me be the star I am today. Congratulations Sally Talfourd!
We cut to Sally giving part of her acceptance speech
Sally: Well, I honestly never expected to be here - and certainly not amongst the people that are being inducted alongside myself. I mean, when I look at the names who already grace the Hall, as well as those men who are joining it tonight ... I feel as though I'm in a dream. But then, when I think about all my time in APW - the whole thing has played out like a dream. I came to APW not intending to see the end of 2010 for no other reason that I thought I'd done it all. But it didn't take long to realise that I'd really done nothing at all in my career to date. I hadn't win an APW title. I hadn't main eventide an APW pay per view. I hadn't beaten an APW megastar. And it was the moment when I realised that ... that I decided I was going to do it all and more. Every morning when the alarm clock went off loud, but not quite as loud as the pain from the aching muscles that were the rewards for the match the night before. But, knowing that there's no room for complacency in APW, I pushed through it all. Pushed through it for the fans and pushed through it for myself.
When you work for APW, you make a choice to never be comfortable. Not in body or in mind. To work here - to succeed here - I knew I could never be comfortable with what I had achieved. I knew that breathing down my neck, running in my shadow, was any number of megastars who were just as hungry for my place here. The likes of CJ Gates, Biggs, Havok and Kash. Men who wouldn't have any qualms overtaking me. But more than that, I was always in a fight with my toughest opponent: Myself. I was my own devil on my shoulder, the voice in my head, that always told me there was an easier, more comfortable way to live. And every time I thought that, I pushed myself further and harder.
You all were witness to this, you all saw what it is. Thank-you for letting me tell a story every night I needed to. Thank-you fans for following me. Thank-you Jeff for giving me a home and a place to work. Thank-you Biggs for standing by me. Thank-you Level-One for pushing me. Thank-you Havok and CJ and Bailey and Callahan and TJ and Chambers and Mania and anyone else who was there for me. Because with out you all ... there wouldn't have been a Sally Talfourd story.
Thank-you and goodnight.
We cut to Chris Hart at the Podium
Chris: My and Kurt Noble has had a long history together. We beat the hell out of each other last year at Rasslemania and I am honored tonight to induct him into the APW Hall of Fame.
We cut to Kurt giving his speech
Noble: Famous author Kurt Vonnegut once said that we should all please notice when we’re happy, and exclaim, murmur, of think at some point that if this isn’t nice, then I don’t know what it is. I stand here amongst the fine men and women that built this company, among the finest in the business. Tonight, I stand honored to be considered even a part of what they are. There are an impossible amount of people to thank here tonight – instead, I invite everyone in the audience to thank someone that made this all possible. All the years, all the events, all the greatness that we achieved here. After all…if this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.
Thank you for making the moments happy ones Action Packed Wrestling, and thank you for believing one last time.
We cut to President Jeff at the podium
Jeff: I met Level One long before APW was even a concept. And when I saw him, I knew he was someone special. I knew he would be a big star in this business. And tonight, cements that thought.
We cut to Level One giving his speech
Level-One: I’ve accomplished a lot of things in my life. I’ve held the APW Undipsuted and World Title. I’ve main evented Rasslemania several times. I’ve held the true Experts title. I was ranked #1 in the world. I’ve had countless show stealing matches. I’ve broken many bones, had many stitches. And now, being inducted into the APW hall of fame, it makes it all worth it. Thank you everyone who helped make Level One into the man he is today!
We then cut to Kurt Noble
Kurt: We thought this man was done wrestling for good before he came to APW. And he took APW by storm up until the very last day here in the company. Rebel was able to accomplish his final dream of winning the world title. Johnny Rebel, you earned this buddy!
We cut to Rebel doing his speech.
Rebel:APW Hall of Fame. I began at the bottom of the barrel. President Jeff fed me such stalwarts like Branden Harvey, Khaos, Jacob Whitehead and the like. I've seen them all come and go over the past 3 years and funny, each and every one of them told me that I wouldn't last two matches, let alone see my name enshrined in the Hall of Fame! The APW closing was the end of my wrestling career and I couldn't have been more proud to lace-up my boots one more time against the toughest son of a biscuit-eater I've ever been in the ring with: C.J. Gates. I've had some battles over the years with the best-of-the-best: Biggs, Gates, Kurt Noble, Level-One, Terry Marvin. You name it- I've been through it. I'm proud to be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the best this place has ever seen. For one last and final time- "Simply. F'N. Put? Johnny Rebel's a Hall of Famer We cut to Chris Cyrus
Chris: When Biggs first came to APW, we we’re thrown into a tag team together, and from that, we formed a strong friendship which led to the Axis of Awesome. Biggs helped me so much in being a better wrestler Just like I’ve helped him. We traveled a lot of miles together and it was an honor for me to be inducted last year. Its just as much as an honor to be able to induct my best friend, The SPACEMAN BIGGS!
We cut to Biggs
Biggs:
The video package ends
A red carpet is rolled out across the top of the stage as the hall of fame music plays.
Tony: At this time, please welcome the Hall of Fame Class of 2014! JOHNNY REBEL
Rebel walks out and waves to the crowd before taking his spot.
Tony: KURT NOBLE
Kurt comes out and waves to the crowd and stands next to Rebel.
Tony: LEVEL ONE!
Level One comes out still in his ring gear and stands on the opposite side of the ramp.
Tony: SALLY TALFOURD
Sally comes out also still in here ring gear, standing next to Level One
Tony: And Finally, BIGGS!
Biggs comes out and waves to the fans. We then cut backstage
Backstage we see Shane West standing next to President Hurricane Jeff who is in his ring gear, ready for the main event.
Shane: President Jeff, can you tell me whats going through your mind moments before heading out to the ring.
Jeff: Tonight, is Rasslemania X. I am the only man in the world who has wrestled at every Rasslemania. And every year, I won’t lie, I get butter flies in my stomach. But this year, its different, it’s the final Curtain call. Tonight marks my last professional wrestling match. Tonight marks the final match in the history of APW. Tonight, its not about winning or losing. Yes the Overdrive title is on the line, but I could care less about that. Tonight is for the fans. Tonight I’m going to give it my all and give the best performance I can for the fans. Its these fans that made APW, and tonight, I say thank you to them. Oh and Biggs, for one last time. THRU HOWLING WINDS, AND POURING RAIN. YOU WILL FEAR…..THE HURRICANE!
Jeff walks off as we get ready for our main event.

Ferrari: The following contest is for the APW Overdrive Championship and is scheduled for one fall. It is also your RassleMania X Main Event! The fans pop at the announcement, and get a loud “APW! APW!” chant going. Harvey: Well, folks, after the amazing three nights we’ve had thus far, we’re nearing the end of an era. Once the bell rings at the conclusion of this match, that will be all she wrote for Action Packed Wrestling.Chase: It’s been a wild ride, partner, one that I will always remember for the rest of my life. The arena lights fade to a dim blue. Blue laser lights shoot about the arena, bouncing off of the metallic blue glitter falling from the ceiling. All of a sudden, spinning blue lights begin to flash high above the stage, and a UFO descends from the ceiling! The whole object lights up, revealing The Killers on top, and they begin to play “Spaceman,” drawing loud cheers from the crowd! Harvey: This is how Biggs made his original entrance into APW! How appropriate is it that tonight, he’s going out the same way!?A big chunk of the fans sing along with the song as it finally reaches the stage! The UFO pops open, fireworks shoot from either side of the door, and Biggs emerges to a huge ovation! The fans are going wild as he dances on the stage, giving The Killers a huge thumbs up! The Killers keep on playing as Biggs heads down the ramp, slapping fives with the fans as he makes his way towards the ring. Ferrari: Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 217 pounds, from Seattle, Washington, he is the APW Overdrive Champion, Biggs!Harvey: Biggs made his APW debut on May 15th, 2009. In the almost five years he’s been here, he’s done it all! He is a former APW Undisputed Champion, a four-time APW Overdrive Champion, manager of The Stud Muffins, former APW Tag Team Champions, and at one time, the General Manager of Overdrive!Chase: There is no doubt as to why Biggs was elected to the APW Hall of Fame this year!Biggs reaches the ringside area, and takes the time to circle around the ring, slapping fives with every fan who has their hands stuck out. For their part, The Killers keep playing on, drawing out the “Oh-oh-ohs” while Biggs mingles with the fans at ringside. As Biggs finally makes his way up onto the apron, he grabs a hold of the top rope, and slingshots himself into the ring, prompting fireworks to shoot out of the turnbuckles as he lands on the mat! The song comes to a close, and the lights come back on, with Biggs clapping for his favorite band as they wave to the crowd from the top of the UFO. Biggs calls for a mic. The fans get a deafening “BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS!” chant going, drowning out any hope he had of talking for a good minute, minute-and-a-half. The ring crew takes advantage of this time to quickly sweep the confetti out of the ring. Biggs has his trademark smirk on his face as he waits for the chants to die down, before finally speaking. Biggs: Thanks a lot, folks. It really means a lot to me that you’re giving me this kind of a reception. I’ll be honest, considering that I’m facing President Jeff here in a matter of minutes, I was fully expecting to be booed out of the building! And while I know that once that bell rings, all of you here will be behind Jeff, I just want to say thank you for the warm welcome.
That being said, there’s somebody else I want to say thank you to, and that is none other than President Jeff himself! The fans pop at the mention of Hurricane Jeff, and get a loud “THANK YOU, JEFF! THANK YOU, JEFF!” chant going, which Biggs participates in. The Spaceman has a huge grin on his face, and the chant goes on for the better part of two minutes before dying down enough for Biggs to continue speaking. Biggs: Because, you see, had it not been for President Jeff having the dream of starting up APW, then we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to see the countless amazing moments, the numerous classic matches that have taken place in Action Packed Wrestling. Had it not been for President Jeff, Survive & Conquer wouldn’t have become one of the most exciting matches of the year, not just in APW, but in all of professional wrestling! Without President Jeff, RassleMania would not be the premiere event that captivates the world every year in late March! Without President Jeff, we wouldn’t have gotten to see Sally Talfourd versus Level-One! We wouldn’t have gotten to witness Johnny Rebel take on C.J. Gates! Jason Cashe and Anthony Bailey would not have had the opportunity to tear down the house each and every week in Asylum! Terry Marvin wouldn’t have survived the most star-studded Elimination Chamber Match ever, and gone on to hold the Undisputed Championship for over an entire year! And most of all, I wouldn’t be standing here tonight, with the honor of not only defending the APW Overdrive Championship, but also closing out Action Packed Wrestling with the man responsible for creating it all. So I think I speak for everybody in this arena, for all the guys and gals in the back when I say thank you, Jeff!Another loud “THANK YOU, JEFF! THANK YOU, JEFF!” chant gets going, and again, Biggs joins in with the chant. By this point, the UFO has risen back up to the ceiling, revealing Slayer set up on the stage! The arena lights go all red as they launch into “Raining Blood!” White strobe lights flash, alternating with the red lights, and water begins to fall from either side of the stage, with red lights shining on it, giving it the appearance of blood! The crowd absolutely explodes as President Jeff makes his way into the arena, fired up for his match! Jeff raises one fist in the air and the crowd goes even more wild! Ferrari: And his opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the President of Action Packed Wrestling, Hurricane Jeff!Jeff is banging his head a bit as he slaps fives with the fans enroute to the ring. Biggs is clapping for his friend inside the ring, and just like Biggs did, Jeff takes the time to slap fives with every fan at ringside. A woman reaches over the barricade and squeezes Jeff with a hug, giving him a kiss on the cheek before letting him go and continue to make his rounds. Harvey: How great does President Jeff have to feel right now? To get this kind of reaction? To hear the loud “Thank you, Jeff!” chants from the gorilla position? You can tell by the smile on his face that Jeff is incredibly happy to be here tonight at RassleMania X!Chase: I’ve got to be honest, Darren, part of me is hoping that he doesn’t make it to the ring, so that tonight doesn’t have to end! Because until that final bell rings, APW still exists!Harvey: APW will always exist in the hearts and minds of those of us who had the opportunity, the privilege of being a part of it!More fans, men and women, reach over the guard rails to hug Jeff, and it takes him a bit to finally head up onto the ring apron. He heads to the center of the apron, and raises his fist once more, prompting the crowd to cheer again! Slayer finally closes out the song as Jeff steps into the ring. The lights come back to normal, and Jeff removes his full length ring vest. Biggs removes his jacket, and unclasps the Overdrive Championship Belt, handing it to the ref. The referee then raises the belt high above his head, as Jeff and Biggs both look up at the title. The ref then hands the belt out to Tony Ferrari, as the time keeper rings the opening bell one last time, DING! DING! DING! APW Overdrive Championship Match President Jeff vs. Biggs ©
The two men shakes hands in the middle of the ring at the sound of the bell, drawing loud cheers from the fans.
Harvey: What a classy gesture from both competitors. In the old days, Biggs would have taken advantage of that, and given Jeff a cheap shot!
Chase: Please don’t remind me of when Biggs used to be awesome!
There’s no feeling out process as the two men immediately tie up in the middle of the ring! Biggs manages to get behind Jeff and wrestles him down to the mat on all fours. Jeff spins out to a seated position, before grabbing Biggs’ hands and pulling them apart, reaching up and grabbing a hold of Biggs’ head to flip him over onto his back! Jeff is quick to go for a lateral press, but Biggs doesn’t even allow for a one count before kicking out and grabbing a hold of Jeff’s arm, twisting it back into a seated Hammerlock! Jeff slaps his shoulder a couple of times, and then he uses his free arm to begin to push himself and Biggs up. Before long, they’re up to a vertical base, with Biggs maintaining the hold. Jeff then reaches back with his free arm, and hooks Biggs’ head, jumping up and flipping backwards over Biggs, driving him into the mat with an Ultimo Dragon DDT! Jeff shakes his arm a bit before getting a running start to the ropes and giving Biggs a short Dropkick to the side of the ribs, sending the Spaceman rolling towards the ropes. As Biggs begins to pull himself up by the ropes, Jeff gets another running start towards the opposite ropes, and catches the champ with a Running Headscissors, sending Biggs spilling through the ropes to the outside near the ramp!
Harvey: After starting this match with a display of solid amature wrestling from both competitors, President Jeff has picked up the pace!
Chase: That’s going to be one of the keys to this match! Don’t forget, Jeff only wrestles once a year, usually at RassleMania. And while Biggs hasn’t had a match since Survive & Conquer, he’s used to wrestling more often. Jeff is looking to end this match quickly, whereas a long match will certainly favor the champion!
Harvey: You may be right partner, but I also don’t think it’s wise to question Jeff’s conditioning! Especially for what is the last match in APW history! You’ve got to know that both of these competitors trained like madmen to make sure they were ready to go here tonight!
The fans have a loud “JEFF! JEFF! JEFF!” chant going as Biggs begins to make his way back to his feet on the floor. Jeff sees his opponent getting up and runs to the opposite ropes, gaining momentum before leaping over the ropes for a Flipping Suicide Plancha, nailing Biggs! Jeff gets to his feet, fired up, and motions his arms, prompting the fans to get even more fired up themselves! As Biggs is laid out at the foot of the ramp, Jeff walks to the side of the ring perpendicular to the ramp, backing up all the way to the opposite corner.
Chase: What is Jeff doing here?
Biggs is slightly dazed as he makes his way to his feet, and Jeff gets a running start, jumping up from the floor, and flying through the corner between bottom and middle ropes, catching Biggs on the other side for a Tornado DDT! The crowd goes absolutely nuts, and starts chanting “HOLY SMOKES! HOLY SMOKES!”
Harvey: CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT WE JUST SAW! WHAT THE HECK DID JEFF JUST DO!?
Chase: Okay, even I’ve got to be impressed with that!
The fans are on their feet as Jeff pulls Biggs back up, bouncing his head off the apron before rolling him back into the ring! Jeff then hops up onto the apron, and uses the ropes to slingshot himself up top, jumping off for a Springboard Body Splash! He hooks the inside leg, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out! Jeff begins to pull Biggs back up to his feet, but The Spaceman responds with an elbow to the midsection, making his way back to his feet, Twisting Jeff’s arm and pulling him in for a hard Knee to the gut! Biggs then goes to Irish Whip Jeff towards the ropes, but keeps a hold of Jeff’s arm, following him into the ropes and driving his Knee into the midsection once more! Biggs does the same thing into the opposite ropes, giving Jeff another hard knee. While maintaining control of Jeff’s arm, Biggs gets behind him, and steps into the calf of Jeff, forcing him down to one knee. Biggs then lets go of Jeff’s arm before giving him a stiff Kick right between the shoulder blades! Biggs then pivots to his other foot, launching a hard kick to Jeff’s chest! Biggs then begins to alternate kicks between Jeff’s back and chest, lighting the President up! The fans yell “BIGGS!” as each kick connects! “BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS! BIGGS!” The champ launches about ten kicks within ten seconds, and Jeff’s chest is noticeably red as Biggs winds up for the haymaker kick to Jeff’s head, nailing the Prez in the back of the head! Jeff falls forward to the mat, and Biggs quickly rolls him over onto his back, making his first attempt at a cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeff gets his shoulder up, much to the delight of the crowd!
Harvey: We just heard something curious there! We figured that this would a very pro-Jeff crowd here tonight, but the fans were chanting along for Biggs as well!
Chase: Don’t get me wrong, I think the fans are certainly hoping for Jeff to win here tonight, in this final APW Match, but I think they also respect Biggs enough to not boo him, at least so long as he remains a goody two-shoes. Personally, I’m hoping that this match goes long, that Biggs gets frusterated, and that we might see the Biggs of old, who would do anything to win a match. At least that’s what I want to see!
Inside the ring, Biggs keeps up the pressure, pulling Jeff up by the head and pulling him in for a Hammerlock, this time one of the standing variety. Biggs then tries to reach over to hook Jeff’s head, looking to set up the Shockwave Reverse DDT, but Jeff blocks the attempt, and manages to elbow his way out of the hold! As Biggs is slightly dazed, Jeff turns around and gives him a couple of Forearm Shots right to the face, before shooting Biggs towards the ropes! Jeff catches him with a picture perfect Standing Dropkick in the middle of the ring! Jeff is quick to his feet, running towards the ropes before nailing Biggs with a Running Flipping Senton in the middle of the ring! Jeff is quick to go for another cover, 1 , , , Biggs kicks out! Jeff gets a hold of Biggs’ head, locking in a Side Headlock, pulling The Spaceman to his feet. Jeff then runs towards the corner, keeping a hold of his opponent’s head, jumping up and springing off the ropes for a Springboard Bulldog! As Biggs is laid out on the mat, Jeff makes his way to the corner, and the fans pop as he makes his way to the top rope! As Jeff is perched on the top rope, he motions for Biggs to get up, and The Spaceman subconsciously obliges, slowly pushing himself up. As he turns to face Hurricane Jeff, Jeff leaps off the top rope, doing a full 360 rotation in mid=air before catching Biggs with a Flipping Hurricanrana from the top rope! Jeff rolls it through into a pinning attempt, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs manages to just get his shoulder up!
Harvey: What a display we’re seeing from President Jeff here tonight! He’s definitely upped his game for tonight’s match!
Chase: Biggs prides himself in being one of the most prepared grapplers around anytime that he steps into the ring! Jeff knows this, and has been showing Biggs looks that he hasn’t seen, thrown stuff at him that Biggs could not have possibly prepared for. It’s smart wrestling on Hurricane Jeff’s part, very smart wrestling. Also, these sheep fans are eating it right up.
Harvey: Well would you expect anything less from him in the last match ever in APW history!?
The fans get a “HERE WE GO, JEFF, HERE WE GO!” >clap, clap< “HERE WE GO, JEFF, HERE WE GO!” >clap, clap< as the President pulls Biggs back up to his feet and whips him towards the corner! Jeff then gets a head of steam, rushing in for a Running Boot, but Biggs dodges just in time, causing Jeff to get caught up in the corner with his foot on the top turnbuckle! Like a flash, Biggs gets behind him and drills him into the mat with a hard German Suplex! Biggs keeps his hands clasped, pulling Jeff back up and delivering another German Suplex! The third time is indeed the charm, as Biggs keeps his hands together, and deliver yet another German, this time bridging his back into a pinning situation, 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeff kicks out! Biggs pulls Jeff up by the head, grabbing a hold of Jeff’s arm, twisting it again, and giving the Prez a kick to the chest that echoes even in the cheap seats (or cheapest seats in this case, as tickets to RassleMania certainly weren’t cheap!)! As Jeff holds his chest in pain, Biggs pulls him in for a Vertical Suplex! He keeps a hold of Jeff’s head, spinning the hips, and going for another Vertical Suplex! Biggs maintains control, spinning his hips once more, lifting Jeff up into a Vertical Suplex position once more, but shifts it into a Brainbuster instead! With Jeff on the mat, Biggs heads over to the corner himself, and mounts the top turnbuckle, leaping off for a UFO Frog Splash! However, Jeff gets his knees up, catching Biggs’ ribs! As Biggs lays on the mat in pain, Jeff takes a moment to regain his wind as well before rolling over towards Biggs. Jeff gets a hold of Biggs’ head, and he pulls him back up to his feet, shooting Biggs towards the ropes! Biggs ducks the attempted Clothesline from Jeff, and as he nears the opposite ropes, he jumps up, pulls off a jumping back flip, and catches Jeff with a Springboard Back-Flip Reverse DDT! Rather than going for a cover, Biggs rolls Jeff onto his belly, and applies The Camel Clutch!
Chase: It looks like Biggs is trying to slow the pace of this match down. Make no bones about it, Biggs can wrestle a fast paced match as well as anyone on the APW roster, but what makes him so dangerous is that he can also wrestle a slow, grinding pace as well. There is nobody in APW who can dictate the pace of a match as well as Biggs can!
Harvey: Jeff’s gotta be careful here, because we’ve seen before how Biggs will create a lull in the middle of the match where he wears down his opponent with a plethora of submission maneuvers. Biggs isn’t looking to make Jeff tap out here at this junction of the match, but he is looking to wear him down and hurt him!
There’s some distinct boos in the crowd as Biggs rides the hold, yanking back on Jeff’s chin with all of his might! The champ throws in a couple of stiff Forearm Shots across the forehead, before cinching the hold in even tighter! Even more fans join in on the boos. Biggs furrows his brow, but doesn’t let the negative reaction deter him from his gameplan.
Chase: And the boo-birds are out in full force now! Biggs mentioned before the match that he knew the fans would be behind Jeff in this match, but considering how soft he’s become as of late, you’ve got to know that the boos are bothering him!
Harvey: It doesn’t appear to be that way, at least not yet!
Biggs continues to ride the Camel Clutch, working over the neck and shoulders of Jeff before finally letting go and shoving Jeff’s face into the mat! As Jeff is dazed, Biggs walks over to the President’s feet, stepping onto the knee cavities on the back of Jeff’s legs, and wrapping Jeff’s legs around his own.
Harvey: It looks like he’s setting up for the Surfboard here!
Biggs reaches down to try and get a hold of Jeff’s arms, but Jeff is resisting, trying to squirm his way out! Biggs slams his fists into both sides of Jeff’s ribs, which then allows him to get a hold of both of Jeff’s arms! As Biggs clutches onto the wrists of the challenger, he begins to rock back and forth a bit before managing to lift Jeff up into an Elevated Surfboard! Jeff grits his teeth in pain as Biggs holds him high in the air! The ref alternates between checking Biggs’ shoulders to make sure they’re off the mat and asking Jeff if he submits! In both cases, it’s a no! Jeff lets out a scream of pain as Biggs begins to pull back on his arms, letting go of one of them to hook it around Jeff’s chin! Biggs then pulls him fully down, bending Jeff’s legs at the knee into a Surfboard Sleeper! The ref checks Biggs’ shoulders once more, but they’re just barely off the mat! Jeff’s face is turning red as he struggles in the hold!
Harvey: The human body is not meant to bend that way! Jeff needs to find a way to get out of this hold, and quick!
Chase: His best bet would be to adjust his weight, forcing Biggs’ shoulders to the mat!
It’s almost as if Jeff heard Chase’s commentary, as Jeff shifts his position to where both of Biggs’ shoulders are indeed on the mat! The ref makes the count, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs releases the hold and gets his shoulder up! Biggs has a focused look on his face as he begins to make his way back up. Jeff is catching his breath on the mat, while rubbing his left shoulder. Biggs backs up into the far corner, measuring up Jeff as he uses the corner ropes to pull himself back up. Once Jeff is almost to his feet, Biggs gets a running start, going for the Stinger Splash! However, Jeff sidesteps it at the last possible moment, causing Biggs to slam sternum first into the turnbuckle! Jeff is right there to slam Biggs’ face into the turnbuckle a couple of times before pulling him out of the corner and delivering a Side Russian Leg Sweep, which he then transitions into the Hurriconda Vice! The fans are on their feet, as Jeff has the hold in deep!
Harvey: And just like that, Jeff has Biggs in a devastating submission hold!
Chase: Jeff is paying Biggs back for the Surfboard Sleeper!
Biggs cries out in pain, but luckily for him, they’re not too far from the ropes. Biggs gets his foot on the bottom rope, and Jeff immediately breaks the hold as soon as the ref informs him. Jeff is quick to his feet, and he reaches down, pulling Biggs up and powering him into the corner. He then proceeds to light Biggs’ chest up with a flurry of Knife-Edge Chops with some punches to the face mixed in, drawing loud cheers from the fans! After about a dozen shots, Jeff backs out of the corner, and appeals to the fans before rushing in for a Running Drop Kick! Biggs drops to a seated position, and Jeff backs out once more, running in again for a Short Running Drop Kick! This brings Biggs all the way down to the mat, and Jeff grabs a hold of the top rope before proceeding to Stomp a Mud-hole into the Overdrive Champion, with the fans chanting “JEFF! JEFF! JEFF!” with each stomp!
Harvey: Jeff is in control of this match at this juncture, and the fans love it!
After about half-a-dozen stomps, Biggs rolls out of the ring to collect his breath, resting on the barricade. This draws loud boos from the crowd, but Biggs doesn’t heed them any mind. The ref begins the mandatory 10 count inside the ring. He’s up to five as Biggs starts to make his way back towards the ring, but Jeff looks to cut Biggs off at the pass, going for a Slingshot Corkscrew Crossbody to the outside! However, Biggs catches Jeff in mid-air, and delivers a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker on the outside! The fans go absolutely crazy, not believing the feat of strength they just saw Biggs perform! Another loud “HOLY SMOKES! HOLY SMOKES!” chant gets going!
Harvey: That’s a way for Biggs to get the fans back on his side!
Chase: Biggs will be the first to admit that he’s not the strongest of wrestlers on the roster, but to be able to catch Jeff in midair and pull off a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, well, that’s just impressive!
Biggs pulls Jeff up and whips him back-first into the barricade! Biggs then gets right up in his grill, delivering a series of stiff Knees to the midsection of Jeff! The ref is up to seven when Biggs rolls in the ring and right back out, resetting the count. This gave Jeff a brief reprieve, long enough to where when Biggs comes in for another Knee to the midsection, Jeff blocks it and shoves Biggs back a bit, creating enough space for Jeff to jump up and deliver a Single-Foot Enziguri right to the back of the head! Biggs falls to the floor like a ton of bricks, and Jeff takes a moment to recover before pulling the Spaceman back up and rolling him back into the ring. Jeff then slides in himself, and mounts Biggs, unloading with a flurry of blows, before sitting Biggs up and applying a Seated Sleeper with Body Scissors!
Chase: The fans were getting on Biggs’ case for slowing down the match, but they’re giving Jeff a free pass! I know it’s his hometown, but talk about double standards!
Harvey: Well after the way Biggs has been working on Jeff’s midsection, it’s smart for him to apply a hold that will allow him to catch his breath, while making it incredibly difficult for Biggs to break out. Going back to your earlier point, Biggs is not the strongest individual on the roster, and Jeff knows that. By applying the Body Scissors, for Biggs to break out of this, he will have to somehow roll over onto his belly, and then push up both his own weight and the weight of Jeff to a vertical base, and then fall backwards, and even then, Jeff may still hold on. And Biggs would have to do all of this while in the Sleeper!
Biggs appears to be fading, and Jeff tightens the hold on both the Sleeper and the Body Scissors! Biggs’ face is a deep red, and his arms are flailing with less and less vigor. It doesn’t take too much longer for his arms to go limp, prompting the ref to check. On the first check, Biggs raises his arm right up, leaving no doubt that he’s still conscious! Jeff knows that he’s going to get Biggs with the hold, so he lets go and goes back on the offensive, giving Biggs a hard Short Dropkick to the back of the head! Biggs rolls on the mat in pain, clutching his head as Jeff gives him a few quick stomps before pulling him back up. Jeff maintains control of Biggs’ arm, punching him in the face a few times as he backs Biggs into the ropes. He then shoots Biggs towards the opposite ropes, and on the rebound, connects with a Spinning Heel Kick, sending Biggs back down to the mat! Jeff is then quick to jump up to the top turnbuckle, and like lightning, he leaps off for a Diving Elbow Drop, connecting right to the sternum of the Overdrive Champ! Jeff pins him, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out! Jeff gets back to his feet, and gives Biggs a couple of Standing Elbow Drops before mounting the top turnbuckle once more! Before Jeff can leap off, Biggs shows that he was playing opossum, and rushes up to join Jeff on the top turnbuckle! Both men begin to trade punches on the top, going back and forth!
Harvey: This could be incredibly dangerous! One false move by either competitor, and they could both go spilling outside the ring!
Chase: Exciting, ain’t it!?
The two men continue to trade blows, but Biggs gets the advantage, and he gives Jeff a hard shot to the ribs, hunching Jeff over on the top rope! Biggs then jumps up and goes for a Frankensteiner, but Jeff counters it with a Powerbomb off the top rope! Right as Biggs hits the mat, Jeff leaps off the top turnbuckle to follow up with a Superfly Splash! The ref is right there to make the count as Jeff hooks the legs, 1 . . . 2 . . . Thre-NO! Biggs rolls his shoulder up!
Chase: We almost had a new Overdrive Champion there! How quick did Jeff follow up that Powerbomb with the Superfly Splash? It seems like he didn’t even have to think about it!
Harvey: It was a great example of counter wrestling from the boss!
Biggs is holding his ribs gingerly as Jeff pulls him back up to a vertical base. Jeff then whips Biggs hard sternum first into the far corner! He follows up with a Running Flying Knee right between the shoulder blades of Biggs! Biggs screams out in pain in the corner, and Jeff is quick to roll him up from behind with a School Boy Pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs reaches out and gets a hand on the bottom rope!
Harvey: The champ is in trouble! He didn’t have the strength to kick out there, he had to rely on the rope break!
Chase: Hurricane Jeff has really dictated the pace of this match from the get-go. Biggs is used to being the one doing that. He’s going to have to adjust, and quick, if he intends to leave RassleMania X still the Overdrive Champion!
Jeff knows that he has Biggs on the ropes, so he keeps the pressure up, pulling Biggs back up, but on the way up, Biggs gives him a hard shove, followed by a Jumping Spin Kick right to the face, sending Jeff back down to the mat! Biggs gets back to his feet in a flash, and pulls off a Standing Shooting Star Press immediately, pinning Jeff, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out by the President! Biggs stays on the attack, rolling Jeff onto his side, and delivering a series of Ultimate Knee Strikes to the lower back of his opponent again and again! Biggs then places both of his knees into the small of Jeff’s back, using his arms to grab a hold of Jeff ankles and underneath his chin, before leaning back and trapping Jeff in an Elevated Bow-and-Arrow Lock! The ref checks Biggs’ shoulders, which are mere inches off the mat as he torques the hold on Jeff!
Harvey: Biggs is going back to targeting the back of President Jeff! He’s really been working it over this entire match!
Chase: Let’s be honest here, both of these guys have been dealing out the punishment! And they’re good friends! Just imagine if they were still enemies like back in the day!
Biggs knows that he’s not going to get Jeff to tap out with the Bow-and-Arrow, but he holds it in long enough for it to do some damage. After a few moments, Biggs releases it, and pulls Jeff up to his feet for a quick Body Slam! He then connects with the Short Leg Drop right across the throat of Jeff! He goes for another cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out by Jeff! Biggs rocks Jeff’s jaw with a few Forearm Shots before hooking his legs again, 1 . . . 2 . . . Another kick out by Jeff! Biggs remains focused, and takes a few steps back, motioning for Jeff to get to his feet! As Jeff does, Biggs launches into another series of Stiff Kicks to the chest, lighting up Jeff’s sternum! Biggs winds up, going for the Homerun Kick, but Jeff ducks it and rolls Biggs up with another School Boy, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs rolls out and reaches out with his arm to trip Jeff up! As Jeff falls backwards to the mat, Biggs is quick to pick the Ankle and roll Jeff onto his belly, standing up to his feet to apply an Ankle Lock! Jeff howls in pain as Biggs torques the ankle! He has his hand raised, looking like he’s on the verge of tapping!
Harvey: What an expertly applied hold by Biggs here! Jeff is going to need to break this hold and quick, otherwise, it’s going to really affect his ability to fight the rest of this match!
Jeff grits his teeth, and begins to crawl towards the ropes. Biggs pulls back on the ankle, but Jeff continues to slowly but surely make his way to the ropes! He’s a finger-tip from the ropes as Biggs honkers down and pulls him back to the center of the ring! Biggs then drops to the mat, and Grapevines his legs with Jeff’s, transitioning into a Grapevine Ankle Lock! Jeff screams in pain even more as Biggs has the hold in deep!
Chase: I don’t know how much longer Jeff can hold on, but I do know that if this match does continue, a move like the Ankle Lock will hobble him for the remainder of the match!
Biggs continue to work the ankle, as Jeff digs down deep, and begins to drag Biggs and himself towards the ropes! It’s slow going, though, and Jeff’s ankle is screaming with pain! Biggs realizes that Jeff is going to get to the ropes before he taps, so Biggs lets go of the Ankle Lock, and drags Jeff back to the center of the ring! He steps through to try and set up the Sharpshooter, but Jeff kicks him off! President Jeff rubs his ankle in pain as Biggs rushes in to try and grab his feet again, but Jeff kicks him off once more! Biggs is starting to show signs of frustration, so instead of trying to grab a hold of Jeff’s ankle, he runs in and begins stomping it repeatedly!
Harvey: We’ve seen this before with Biggs, where frustration causes him to lose his cool. He’s trying to ground Jeff for the remainder of the match here!
After about half-a-dozen stomps to the ankle, Biggs drags Jeff towards the ropes, placing his foot on the bottom rope. Biggs grabs a hold of the top rope, stomping Jeff’s ankle a couple of times before jumping up and landing with his bottom right across Jeff’s ankle! The fans do not like Biggs’ strategy, and let him know their displeasure with a chorus of boos. At this point in the match, it’s visibly affecting Biggs.
Chase: You can tell that Biggs is letting the boos get to him. He is not liking the reaction he’s getting from the crowd here tonight, even though he knew it was going to happen before the match even began!
Despite the boos, Biggs keeps to his strategy, continuing to work the ankle over on the ropes. Biggs jumps up again, but before he can drop his weight onto Jeff’s ankle, Jeff uses his free foot to kick Biggs right in the bottom with enough force to send Biggs falling through the ropes to the floor! Biggs lands awkwardly on his shoulder, and immediately screams with pain!
Harvey: Biggs could have injured his shoulder on that fall! This is not good for him!
Chase: Well, between his bum shoulder, and Jeff’s ankle, they might just be even!
The ref goes out to check on the status of Biggs, asking him if he can continue the match. Biggs tells the ref that he wants to keep fighting, and the ref obliges, rolling back into the ring to begin the mandatory 10 count. Jeff is in the ring, slapping his ankle to try and get feeling back into it.
“1!”
“2!”
“3!”
Jeff slides over to the ropes, and pulls himself up, while Biggs begins to push himself up with his good arm.
“4!”
“5!”
“6!”
Jeff is up to his feet, and he grabs a hold of his top rope. Biggs is almost to his feet by this point.
“7!”
Jeff launches himself over the ropes with a Slingshot Crossbody, catching Biggs and sending him back to the floor! The fans are on fire! “APW! APW! APW!” chants fill the arena, and the adrenaline is flowing through Jeff, allowing him to ignore the pain in his ankle long enough to pull Biggs back up and roll him back into the ring! Jeff then heads back up onto the apron, and steps back into the ring. He pulls Biggs back up to his feet, gives him a kick to the gut, and delivers his version of the Ace Crusher, The Eye of the Hurricane!
Harvey: EYE OF THE HURRICANE! EYE OF THE HURRICANE! Jeff could have him here!
Jeff goes for the cover, and the fans count along with the referee, 1 . . . 2 . . . Thre-Biggs just barely kicks out! The fans let out an audible gasp, and they can’t believe that Jeff didn’t win the match on the Eye of the Hurricane. For his part, Jeff stays focused, and he begins to pull Biggs up by the head, but Biggs gives him a hard elbow to the gut, hunching him over and allowing Biggs to deliver the Spaced Out!
Chase: SPACED OUT! SPACED OUT! Biggs is just three seconds from retaining here!
Biggs hooks the leg with his right arm, while his left arm hangs at his side, 1 . . . 2 . . . Three-NO! Jeff gets his shoulder up, drawing loud cheers from the fans! Biggs is livid, and he gets to his feet, stomping the daylights out of Jeff before making his way to the corner, pulling himself up to the top turnbuckle with one arm! He measures up Jeff, and leaps off for the UFO Frog Splash, but in an almost superhuman display of speed, Jeff pops up to his feet and catches Biggs in mid-air for another Eye of the Hurricane! The crowd pops huge for the maneuver as Jeff hooks both legs!
Harvey: This should be academic here! Jeff had perfect timing on that one!
Chase: How in the heck did Jeff pull that off!
The ref begins the count, 1 . . . 2 . . . Three-NO! Biggs just barely rolls his shoulder up! Jeff looks to the ref, and holds up three fingers, but the ref shakes his head! The fans are not happy with the announcement, and let the ref know it, chanting “THAT WAS THREE! THAT WAS THREE!”
Chase: I’m not sure why the fans are so upset that this match gets to continue! After all, this is the last match in APW history! I, for one, am glad that it’s going to continue!
Harvey: I just think these fans want to see President Jeff win so badly that they’ll take it any way they can get it! And also, if Jeff couldn’t put Biggs away with that Eye of the Hurricane, what more is he going to have to do in order to defeat his friend!?
Jeff has a noticeable limp as he gets to his feet and pulls Biggs back up by the head. He shoots Biggs to the ropes, and leapfrogs Biggs on the rebound. As Biggs bounces back, Jeff pulls off a picture perfect Hip Toss, but Biggs rotates even more, and manages to land on his feet! He turns around and gives Jeff a kick to the gut, and hooks Jeff’s head in a ¾ Side Headlock, running up the ropes and connecting with the Bigg Time! Biggs holds his shoulder as he muscles his way back up to the top turnbuckle, and he follows up the Bigg Time with a UFO Frog Splash, this time connecting!
Harvey: This has to be it!
Biggs uses his good arm to hook the far leg, and his leg to hook the inside leg, pinning Jeff, 1 . . . 2 . . . Three-NO! Jeff kicks out one more time! Biggs is totally loosing his cool, and has a look on his face that suggests, “How the heck am I going to beat this guy!?”
Chase: That was even closer than a morning shave! I have no idea how Jeff kicked out of that!
Biggs shakes his head in frustration, but gets right back on Jeff, grabbing a hold of both of his legs, and stepping through, looking for a Sharpshooter! However, before he can flip Jeff over, Jeff sits up, and begins pounding on Biggs’ left arm, forcing him to let go of the hold before he can properly apply it! Jeff then pulls Biggs down and in for a Small Package, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs rolls through, reversing the small package into a pinning combination of his own, 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeff adjusts his weight, pinning Biggs instead, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out! Jeff is to his feet first, and as Biggs begins to sit up, he nails him with a Shining Wizard, drawing a huge pop from the fans!
Harvey: The Shining Wizard is vintage Jeff! With everything these two have thrown at each other, this has to be it!
Jeff hooks both legs, and the ref begins the count, 1 . . . 2 . . . Thre-NO! Biggs kicks out!
Chase: Earlier, Biggs was wondering what the heck he had to do in order to beat Jeff. Now, Jeff must be wondering what the heck he has to do to beat Biggs!
Jeff signals that the match is over, and he grabs a hold of Biggs’ left arm, the one with the bad shoulder, and applies the Hurriconda Vice in the middle of the ring! The fans are chanting “TAP! TAP! TAP! TAP!” as Biggs tries to figure a way out of the hold! Jeff has the hold in tight, and as Biggs begins to fade, he lets his shoulders hit the mat, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs gets the shoulder up, but at the cost of the hold tightening!
Harvey: This Hurriconda Vice is a dangerous, versatile hold! Not only is Jeff putting immense pressure on the neck, arm and shoulder of Biggs, but in order to try and loosen the pressure, Biggs has to put himself into a pinning position!
Chase: We may be closing in on the final moments of this match! With the shoulder injury, with how hard this lock is to break, I don’t see Biggs squirming his way out of this one!
Biggs is still struggling in the hold, and the fans are at a fever pitch, foaming at the mouth for a tap out! Jeff, for his part, has the hold expertly applied. Biggs lets his shoulders touch the mat again, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs rolls his shoulder up, but Jeff still has him locked in the hold! Biggs is holding his hand up like he’s about to tap out, and the fans are cheering loudly, hoping that he does!
Nailz: Biggs’ shoulder has got to be killing him! But we know as well as anybody, Chase, that Biggs is too proud of man to tap out in this final match in APW history! But then again, so is Jeff!
Chase: There’s pride, and then there’s dumb pride! If Biggs doesn’t tap out to this soon, he could suffer from permanent damage to that shoulder!
Biggs’ face is beet red as Jeff rocks back and forth in the Hurriconda Vice, wrenching the hold! Biggs’ free arm is shaking as he holds it up, but as it looks like he’s about to tap, he balls it up into a fist, and sits up, looking Jeff right in the eyes! He then gives Jeff a couple of punches to the side of the face with his free arm, and begins working the two of them to a vertical base! Biggs continues to punch Jeff, backing him into the rope, and wisely grabbing the ropes himself, forcing Jeff to break the hold! The fans are booing Biggs as he clutches the top rope, telling the ref to back Jeff up. Jeff backs up a bit, and as Biggs turns around, from out of nowhere, he eats a Hurri-Kick right to the chin!
Chase: Where the heck did that come from!?
Nailz: We’ve got a new Overdrive Champ right here!
Jeff goes for the cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Three-NO! Biggs just barely gets his shoulder up one more time!
Harvey: How in the world did Biggs kick out of that one!?
Jeff keeps his focus, and gives Biggs a few stomps before heading to the corner. He grabs a hold of the top rope, and begins to stomp in rhythm, calling for another Hurri-Kick! With each stomp, the fans chant “JEFF!” “JEFF!” “JEFF!”
Chase: Don’t get up Biggs!
As Biggs slowly gets to his feet and turns around, Jeff launches with a Hurri-Kick, but Biggs ducks it, and Jeff accidently clocks the ref right on the chin! The ref is out like a light, and Biggs uses the momentary distraction to lock Jeff in a Hammerlock and deliver the Shockwave Reverse DDT! The fans are absolutely pissed, booing Biggs big time. With Jeff down, Biggs yells angrily, ”So you want me to be the bad guy!? FINE! I’ll show you the bad guy!” Biggs makes his way out of the ring and to the arena floor, shoving the time keeper off of his chair and grabbing it, folding it up! The fans are letting Biggs have it, booing him at the top of their lungs!
Harvey: Don’t do this, Biggs! Don’t be remembered forever for being the guy who used a chair to beat President Jeff!
Chase: This is what I’ve been waiting for! This is what I’ve been wanting to see for the longest time! Biggs is back, baby!
Biggs slides back into the ring, steel chair in hand, and he gets to his feet, motioning for Jeff to get up! The fans are yelling, screaming, “BIGGS SUCKS! BIGGS SUCKS!” as Jeff begins to stir and Biggs raises the chair above his head!
Chase: C’mon Biggs, do it now!
Jeff’s back is wide open, but Biggs hesitates to swing the chair. It looks like he’s going to swing it, but he holds back, obviously having a crisis of conscious. Biggs winds up again with the chair, but again, he can’t pull the trigger!
Harvey: Do the right thing, Biggs! Get rid of that chair!
Chase: Blast him, Biggs! Blast President Jeff to next week, and win this match!
As Jeff is still down on all fours, Biggs takes a look at the chair in his hands, shakes his head, and walks over to the ropes, dumping it out of the ring, and drawing loud cheers from the fans!
Harvey: YES! Biggs decided that he did not want to win this match in a cheap manner, and does the right thing by getting rid of it!
Chase: What a foolish move! Biggs could have had this match won!
Harvey: Yes, he could have, but at a great cost to his friendship with Jeff, at a great cost to the respect these two men have for each other!
Biggs heads over to pull Jeff back up to his feet, but on the way up, Jeff clocks him with a hard right hand! Biggs responds in kind with a punch of his own! The time between punches grows shorter and shorter as Jeff and Biggs exchange punches in the middle of the ring, going back and forth, back and forth! The ref has finally come to as both men continue to throw hard punches, and as Jeff gets the advantage, he grabs Biggs’ head, going for another Eye of the Hurricane! But Biggs shoves him off, sending Jeff into the ropes, and catching him with a Toe Kick to the gut on the rebound, hunching Jeff over! Biggs goes to set up the Spaced Out, but Jeff rolls out of it, twisting Biggs’ arm before pulling him in for another Eye of the Hurricane! But Biggs shoves him off once more, and runs up, catching him for a Flipping Face Buster! With Jeff down, Biggs drags him to the center of the ring, turns him onto his back, and grabs both legs, stepping through and turning him over for a Sharpshooter!
Chase: Look at the way Biggs has that Sharpshooter applied! He has the left ankle, the one he targeted with the Ankle Lock earlier, crossed underneath, so that it has the added pressure of his right ankle bearing on it! It’s little things like that that set Biggs apart!
Harvey: Jeff can’t afford to be in this hold for very long this late into the match!
Biggs has the move expertly executed in the middle of the ring, but Jeff isn’t going to give up without a fight! He tries to pick Biggs’ ankle to reverse the hold, but Biggs readjusts his foot as he feels Jeff pawing at it. Jeff then bears down and grits his teeth, dragging Biggs and himself towards the ropes!
Harvey: Jeff has to get to the ropes here if he wants to have any hope of winning this match!
The fans are trying to will Jeff on, clapping in unison as he slowly crawls towards the ropes! Biggs doesn’t even wait for him to get a fingertip away, straight up dragging him back to the middle of the ring and sitting in deeper into the small of Jeff’s back! Jeff screams in agony as Biggs pulls back even harder!
Chase: This has got to be it! Jeff’s gonna be tapping like a drunken bar maid any second now!
Biggs is yelling for Jeff to throw in the towel, while Jeff’s hand hovers inches over the mat! Luckily for Jeff, as he’s mere moments from tapping, Biggs’ shoulder gives out on him, loosening the hold enough for Jeff to wriggle out! Both men are hurt though, as Jeff is slow to get up due to his ankle, and Biggs holds his shoulder in pain. Once Jeff is up, he pulls off a modified Step-Up Enziguri, targeting the left shoulder of Biggs instead of the back of his head! Biggs lets out a scream of pain as Jeff then pulls him in and pulls off a Cross Armbreaker into a Cross Armbar on the mat! The fans are at a fever pitch, going wild for the display of submission wrestling!
Harvey: Both of these men have been targeting specific body parts during this match, and it looks like targeting that shoulder is about to pay off for Jeff big time!
Chase: It already paid off for Jeff! Biggs’ shoulder going out while he had Jeff locked in the Sharpshooter is just about the best timing for something like that to happen, at least on Jeff’s part!
Biggs is in agonizing pain, and looks like he can tap at any moment, but after a few moments, he reaches down deep and rolls Jeff up for a pin while Jeff still has the arm locked in, 1 . . . 2 . . . Jeff lets go of the hold to kick out! Once both men are up, Jeff launches a swift Kick targeting the left shoulder of Biggs, but The Spaceman ducks it, and catches Jeff with a boot to the gut as he turns back to face him! Biggs then runs towards the ropes, connecting with a Running Knee Lift! As Jeff spins around from the impact, Biggs grabs him in a ¾ side headlock, running up the turnbuckle to go for the Bigg Time! But Jeff counters as Biggs is floating up, tossing Biggs into the turnbuckle as he’s in midair, crotching the champ! Jeff gives him a few clubbing blows to the back before stepping out onto the apron and climbing the ropes himself! Once he’s up, he bounces Biggs’ head off the turnbuckle a couple of times before clutching him and pulling off a Sunset Flip Powerbomb from the top rope! However, Biggs rolls through the impact, keeping Jeff hooked in, and has his legs on Jeff’s shoulders while holding Jeff’s legs down with both arms, 1 . . . 2 . . . Three-NO! Jeff gets his shoulder up just in time!
Harvey: Oh my goodness! I’m going to have a heart attack here with all these near falls!
Chase: How do you think the guys in the ring feel!?
Biggs is still the one that worse for wear after that exchange, and Jeff is the first one to his feet. He pulls Biggs up, and whips him into the corner! He slaps his ankle a few times to make sure it can hold up, and he rushes in for a hard Clothesline in the corner! Biggs flops to the mat, and Jeff looks to the top rope! The fans begin to cheer as Jeff slowly ascends to the top, but his ankle is really starting to bother him, and it’s a slow trek to the top! The long climb gave Biggs a chance to recover, and he joins Jeff on the top rope, the two exchanging punches back and forth, back and forth!
Harvey: These two men have given each other everything they’ve got over the course of this match, and despite that they’re still going at it!
Chase: Like you said earlier, these two guys are friends! They don’t have any animosity between them! They’re going at it with such force, such intensity, and it’s all about mutual respect! I may not respect them for that, but they respect each other!
Jeff lands a jaw-jacking punch on Biggs, and he shoves him off the top rope, but like a pitbull, Biggs is right back up there with Jeff, giving him a few hard shots before hooking him in a Urinagi position, and pulling off a Super Star Maker Flipping Urinagi Slam!
Harvey: The Star Maker from the top rope! We haven’t seen that from Biggs since One Night in Hell two years ago!
Chase: PIN HIM BIGGS! PIN HIM!
Biggs drapes an arm over Jeff’s chest, and the ref makes the count, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Winner: Biggs Ferrari: Here is your winner, by pinfall, and STILL the APW Overdrive Champion, BIGGS!Harvey: And with that bell, the final match, on the final show in APW History comes to a close! What a ride these two men took us on here tonight!Chase: I would have liked it better had Biggs used that chair, but both men fought through the pain, and gave each other absolutely everything they got! Neither man can walk away from this match with his head held in shame! The fans sit in a stunned silence as “Spaceman” begins to play. Biggs sits up as the ref hands him the Overdrive Championship and raises his right arm, mindful of the injury to the left shoulder. The ref helps Biggs to his feet, and The Spaceman stumbles into the ropes, visibly exhausted from the match he just wrestled. Biggs looks down at Jeff, and walks over to his friend, offering his hand to him to help him up. Once Jeff is to his feet, Biggs raises his arm, and places the Overdrive Championship over Jeff’s shoulder before the two embrace in a hug! The crowd goes wild! “THIS IS AWESOME! >Clap, clap, clapclapclap!< “THIS IS AWESOME! >Clap, clap, clapclapclap!< “THIS IS AWESOME! >Clap, clap, clapclapclap!< “THIS IS AWESOME! >Clap, clap, clapclapclap!< Harvey: This was indeed awesome, not just this match, but APW as a whole! What a show of respect between these two competitors! The chants transition into an “APW! APW! APW!” chant as the rest of the Mega Stars on the roster file out from backstage, filling the ring. A.C. Smith and Shadow hoist Jeff up onto their shoulders, and the APW Mega Stars and Biggs lead the crowd in another chant of “APW! APW! APW!” Harvey: What a moment we are witnessing here! What a glorious, beautiful, magical moment! Chase, are you crying?Chase: If I am, they’re man tears, darn it!Jason Cashe and C.J. Gates hoist Biggs up onto their shoulders, and he and Jeff just look at each other and laugh! They give each other a high-five as the fans continue to cheer! Confetti falls from the ceiling once more as the fans, Jeff, Biggs, and the rest of the APW Mega Stars continue to celebrate! The Megstars lower Jeff and Biggs. Everyone then exits the ring leaving Jeff alone in the ring. A microphone is handed to him. All the Megastars stand around the ring and slap the canvas as the crowd chants THANK YOU JEFF THANK YOU JEFF THANK YOU JEFF Jeff looks around the arena with a smile on his face. The crowd quits down and then Jeff lifts the microphone to his lips and speaks. Jeff: Thirteen years ago, when Rasslemania was born. I never thought it would be as big as it became. Never did I thought I’d be part of 10 of these. 6 years ago, when APW was born, never did I thought It would last this long. And I always told myself that APW would be my swan song. Once APW was done, my wrestling career was done. And even with the break we’ve had, my feelings stay the same
Tonight marks my final pro wrestling match. As I can now officially say, I’m retired. I’ve been in this business for 13 years. Longer than most, not as long as some. But I given it 110% every night I produced an APW show, or I wrestled in front of you. I could stand out here and thank a million people, but I’ll just sum it up and say thanks to everyone who made APW possible. From the fans, the wrestlers, to my staff, to the media people. Just everyone.
When I started APW, I didn’t expect to last longer than 3 months. I’m sure many people through the same thing at the time, but we never quit, we fought hard, and look at what we build. APW was the place where people came to retire. People came out of retirement to come to APW. Why? Because APW was the best damn wrestling federation to be in.
And the great thing about tonight is that, APW was able to go out on its own terms. So many companies just up and disappear for no reason. With us, We we’re able to say goodbye the properway.
I don’t know what else to say. So thank you everyone, APW may be done, but after tonight, I know it will never be forgotten. Thank youJeff drops the mic and stands in the middle of the ring as the megastars beat on the ring again chanting with the crowd APW APW APW APW APW The APW logo flashes on the screen and we go off the air for the final time as the crowd continues to chant, A…P…W
