To this is going to be my farewell post. I didn’t make one in October because I wanted to wait till now to make one. I’m not sure what to say, so I’m just gonna write and see where it takes me.
So people I gotta thank. First, Biggs. Biggs has been my right hand guy pretty much since 2009. He’s done so much for APW. The fact that he was willing to GM Overdrive for a few months for me, allowed me to focus on a big push on recruiting and promoting APW to the point that just as Biggs was done GMing Overdrive, he took on Asylum and made it his own show. The countless hours of writing matches, the headaches of posting shows, and the stress of reading RP’s and trying to choose the right winner, I cant thank you enough Biggs for everything you did. I dunno if APW could have grown the way It did, when it did without you.
Also gotta thank my other staff, current and past. Johnny Rebel, Evan and Tmarv. You guys all ran Meltdown as one time, and you all did a great job with it. You guys helped make new stars that may have gotten lost in the shuffle had they started on Overdrive or Asylum right off the bat. Thanks guys for everything you done. You guys we’re a big part in the success of APW.
A special thanks to all the Efedding communities out there who allowed me to promote APW on their sites and to RoughKut for putting APW in their top 10 feds. Also thanks to The Efed Guerillas for promoting APW on their podcast. Thanks to every fed to helped promote Survive and Conquer. It was that event that really put APW on the map. The fact that in 2013 we had 100 guys sign up, and last year had 80 with barely any promoting of it, says something not only for APW but for the event as well.
I could list everyone in the fed past or present, but APW was never a 1 man show. We all worked together to put these shows out. I sometimes think I get more credit than I deserve. Everyone always chipped in in writing matches or casting a vote, or sending in a segment. So everyone who’s done that, Thank you. Because of you guys, you’ve made the shows that much better.
I dunno if I forgot anyone, but Thank you everyone.
Before I started APW, I was GMing over in EWC, and was doing so for 14 months and when I left, it was because I felt with what I was doing in EWC, I could do it with APW and bring over some ideas I had and have more satisfaction in playing the game. So when I started APW, I made a vow to myself that once APW was done, I was done. I didn’t expect APW to last long to be honest. I think the day before our first show card went up, we got our 8th member. But after our first show we just started getting people and things kept going.
For the most part, there was no reason to close APW. Thoughts have crossed my mind, but it wasn’t until 2 years ago that I decided that regardless of what was happening, Rasslemania X would be the last show. All that just came sooner once I started going to wrestling school.
I’ve come to realize that the only reason I was playing the game, was to fulfill my dream of being a wrestler. So now that I was training to become one and had a few matches, it was clear to me that, I don’t need to efed anymore. Instead of writing matches now, my focus is on working out and training, and all that stuff. So when October came, and it was tough getting match writers, I just didn’t have the drive or desire to step up like I would have years prior, so that’s why I had to close APW before it became a fed that I didn’t want people to remember it for.
However, I’m happy we we’re able to finish off on a high note with Survive and Conquer, and doing what I don’t think has ever been done before, a big event taking place over the course of 3 different nights. I think we went out in style. And if I’d do it all over again…..In a heart beat. As much as this game has drove me crazy. With all the countless hours I’ve put in it and the sleepless nights, it was worth it to me in the end. I’ve made many friends here. I have a couple of you on facebook and I hope we can keep in touch.
I will continue to post here updates on my wrestling. Posting Video’s and what not. I’m booked for 2 shows next weekend, again on April 13 (Show featuring The Honky tonk Man) April 26th, then 2 more shows the first weekend of May. And theres probably gonna be lots more this summer.
I’ll probably keep checking the boards every day. I’m gonna leave them open if anyone wants to post stuff for the hell of it just to chat. Shoot the shit and what not.
On that note, that’s my farewell speech. Feel free to follow my wrestling character on facebook. All I ask is not to make any efedding references on the page

With that, again, thanks everyone who contributed to APW. I hope I’ve raised the bar in what a fed should be and how it should be run. And even though APW is gone now, it will never be forgotten.
