The opening Chord of Thunderstruck hits as the lights dim a bit. Bulb flashes go off in the crowd. As the first beats of the drum with "Thunder" begis, out from the crows walks Devin Richards. He stands on the stage with his hands on his hips and smirks as he looks to the fans. He then slowly and methodically walks down the ramp, ignoring the fans. A couple of fans try to reach out and touch him, and he turns and glares them down. He climbs the stares and onto the apron before turning to the crowd and raising both hands over his head. He then uses the ropes to backwards flip into the ring and run to the turnbuckle hopping to the middle and posing for the crowd. He hops back down and into his corner, stretching out and waiting for the match to begin.

Biography: (Can be as detailed as you'd like. Give us an idea of what kind of history your character has gone through to get here to the APW)
Not a whole lot is known about Devin because he doesn't tend to talk much about his past. He joined the Army straight out of high school, and his Hand to hand Combat became the stuff of legends through Basic Training. Eventually he became an Army Ranger doing time in Iraq and Afganistan. In 2010, he completely dissapeared off the grid. Some said he went AWOL, others said he was part of a special forces group working for the US government. He won't talk about that time, and normally gets quite violent if it keeps getting brought up. He resurfaced in 2012 in underground fight clubs accross the pacific northwest. He seemed to have a knack for hurting people and enjoyed it more and more. After deciding to make a living out of his new found hobby, he recieved wrestling training at the Showtime Academy run by Legendary wrestler "The Real Show" Terry Marvin. And Terry tought him well. Devin emerged from the academy more dangerous than ever. His first match for Showtime Wrestling saw him putting his opponent in critical condition. Devin was banned from that fed and has traveled the country over doing whatever independent shows he could. He soon learned how to work the system and fell into the CPW in 2014. He used his brains to manipulate the fed and quickly backstabbed and politiced his way to the top. Just before his world title match, the fed closed down in early 2015. Some believe it was a consparacy to keep Devin from the title... and by some, I mean Devin himself.
