Wrestler Name: Buckson Gooch
Nicknames: Buck, Gooch, Goocher, Goochie'Mane
Who/what does your wrestler look like: John Goodman
Hometown: Possomgrape, AR
Wrestling Style: Southern Style Brawler
Height: 6'7"
Weight: 345 lbs.
Theme Song: Rudebrat - Amadeus (Mozart dubstep remix)
Face/Heel/Tweener: Heel
Entrance: The beautiful chorus of singers blasts through the arena and as the bass drops, Buckson Gooch comes out wearing a 3 piece suit. Hair combed to perfection. He gives a big smile as he soaks up the boo's, he's new dental work shining from the lights. He takes both hands a blows a kiss to the crowd and red fireworks blast on the stage, he comes to the ring avoiding the hands of the fans and he smiles at their jeers and shakes his head, he knows he's right. He gets in the ring and takes off his jacket, his vest, his tie, and his dress shirt, folding all appropriately. He wrestles in his dress pants and dress shoes...a far cry from the Buckson Gooch the fans loved. The smile is now gone, a scowl is there...It's time to earn money.
At least 10 Basic moves:
Big Boot
Power slam
Power Bomb
Bear Hug
Boston Crab
Avalanche
Vader Bomb
The Ugliest Moonsault ever for rarest of occasions (big dude'll hurt ya!)
Strong Lariat
The Spirit Breaker - Bow and Arrow Submission
Stump Pull Piledriver
Signature Moves -
The Sweet Tea Plunge - Gooch hooks his opponents arm and brings them over like he's going to do a backslide, but instead ducks his head to the side drops them on their noggin'.
The Possomgrape Waltz - What looks like a dance move, kiss on the forehead and some variation of an STO? Whatever it is, Buck is good at it and the fans love it...his opponents don't...and it's not b/c of the forehead kiss.
Finishing Moves:
The Trust Fall - Sorry for the dumb video, but it got what I wanted. The extremely strong Gooch lifts his opponent up, practically jumping himself and they land hard in a heap in one of the most painful chokeslams in the business.
Razorback Scrambler - Vicious Mule Kick that connects right under his opponents chin, more powerful than any uppercut. The muscular, agile, simpleton can fire this off at a seconds notice. The video is the best example I could find.
Bio: Raised in rural Arkansas, Gooch got most of his education on the farm. He went to school, but his focus was on helping his family. For a few years he lived with his cousin Mac Bane's family in Texas. He moved back from his Sophomore year of high school and he never left. He married his high school sweetheart, Annabelle. A year later Jimmy was born. He's 16 now. He love's his father, but is obviously from a different generation. On December 28, 2012, his friend and mentor Coach James Ray Coker died of a heart attack on a hunting trip. J-Mac and Buck, and a group of friends all saw him fall to the ground. CPR was not successful. On January 12, 2013, Lily Jane Gooch was born. The farm, his history, recent tragedy, and recent blessings are helping build not only Buckson Gooch the man, but Buckson Gooch the wrestler. Gooch suffered a broken arm at the hands of Tommy Knox at Test For The Best and sat out of action for a year after a difficult surgery. In his time off he took some business classes at the local community college and, using ties to the wrestling world, got into being a General Manager of various sports teams. He has changed his appearance some, but is still a redneck at heart. Recent events in his life may cause the fans to look at him in a different way, but he is going to take care of his business regardless of how people like it.
