OK....this is a venting thread so allow me to vent. If there are comments afterwards feel free to post.

Look, I didn't no-show a match until my computer died and I lost all computer access. THAT is a reason that someone might not be able to post 1 roleplay a week. But all of the excuses and shit around here lately are REALLY starting to annoy me. There is no excuse for the amount of no-shows we experienced this week. I work and go to school full-time on top of having a social life and I can still meet a deadline. It's fucking ridiculous how insane it is around here lately. No-showing, champions bitching about defending their titles.

What the fuck, man?!?

I'm mad at you guys right now. We only have five actual wrestlers that are really bringing their all every week. Where the fuck is everyone else? I understand this is a hobby but when you sign a contract with someone you are obligated to at least post somethin, anything to let people know you can't RP. I see people log on here all week and fail to RP. That makes no sense and is inexcusable. As for the bitching...YOU ARE A CHAMPION. ACT LIKE ONE. STEP YOUR GAME UP AND SHOW EVERYONE WHY YOU DESERVE TO BE A CHAMPION.

If anyone doesn't like what I had to say so be it. If Jeff or O'Reilly want to delete this that's OK too. But someone needs to break a foot off in someone's ass around here. I consider myself a damn good roleplayer and I came back to APW to face the best. If you guys and gals aren't going to show up then I can't see how this place is gonna be around much longer.

If any of thats directed at me - (ive been trying to stay out of the public with this) but my abscence this week was excused - not prepared to list off why here as its public matters and Im not an overly public person with those things. But will be back this week rest assured. That being said there are a few people on the "active" roster who have disappeared of late which is unfortunate. I have faith in our crew to bring it back together though. cheers.

i agree and dude if any of that was directed to me, then i would have a problem i swear to go hardcore ice (myself and the hardcore kid) are the only guys to never take a loa or anything and we rp every week i have not but at least i have given a reason why but as for the bithcing comment, that i resent cause in most feds i have been in it was a cool idea to onclude the champions in talks about title feuds and shit i mean hell back in cwf when i was a 5 time champion i was always in contact with someone on management regarding my title and shit the reason i bitched was because after the ppv my character was hurting and i think it would make for a good match but to rush into a storyline like this with to great guys it need to built up like you are doing with dr.Matt, and Trevor hence why i ame up with the build up idea eveyone that i defended against was i some sort of build up and now this i am sorry but this is the wrong way to go about it not trying to be mean or anything but its the way i feel

What I'm talking about is the repeat offenders we've been having around here. Life gets in the way and that's understandable. This is just a game. But we have a week to post ONE RP. Just one. Why no one can nail that is beyond my comprehension. An RP for me takes an hour. I am sure that, within the span of a week, the vast majority of us have 30 minutes to and hour free in the span of a week to at least make a showing.

What I said is directed to anyone it applies to. You don't like it meet me in the ring and I'll deflate your fucking egos. There is way too much coddling and hand holding going on around here an it's bringing the place down to be quite truthful with you all.

WOW....Kid and Royce are the only one not to take a leave of abscense. CLAP CLAP...oh wait a minute not only have I not taken a leave of abscense, but I haven't no showed. I have slapped a RP up with no proof reading, and no spell checking, without adding color to it so I wouldn't no show. Mostly becuase I didn't have time to do it. Low and behold...my opponent didn't show in that match. I haven't asked for anything here except a day off every once and awhile...like maybe twice. I tend to aggree with almost every ones points here. RP'ing shouldn't be a chore....if it is for you then take a break....if not slap something up out of the courtesy of the matchwriter and others. As for not knowing whats going on ICY....and storyline buildup....the match is for a shot at the title, not a title match...that could be considered as buildup....and hell if Lively/Twister win...it sould be the next PPV when they get a shot...you need to relax a bit. Save the complaints, or dissagreements for your RP. Channel that anger, or grief into your charachter's grief and you may crank out even better quality RP's. If you still want to belly ache....you mine as well hand over the belt, and enjoy your life as a filler. Champions don't bitch....they just enjoy the run. Suck it up.

So I finally was able to get online on Monday, a few hours before the deadline...which was apparent by a few comments I posted on the OOC boards...And then there was no RP for my character.

I was pissed all week because I thought that looked REALLY SHITTY, however there was nothing I could do about it.

Here is why: I was browsing the boards before I began to write my RP. I went to post. And my internet access was no longer available. Meaning my roommate never paid the fucking cable bill and the company shut me off. In the middle of my RP. After I had already announced my presence to the board.

Sucks.

Now, as for everyone else who hasn't RPed, sometimes things happen. As for all the bitching about it...I hope everyone is off the rag now.

YOU are the ICON when it comes to being on the boards all week and not bothering to post a roleplay... I used to see your name at the bottom of the home page all the time saying that you were online checking the boards and yet we hadn't heard word one from you for months... Again... I understand that you had your problems and that you couldn't make it online but you didn't tell anyone anything until a month or so ago...

I agree. No showing is lame. It sucks when people don't show up for their matches without any warning. Squash matches aren't any fun to read. But if there's a good excuse, I understand.

When was the last time any of us got paid for this that we're making this big of a deal about this.

I love APW. But at the end of the day it ranks right up there with Monopoly. Its a really fun game to play but it doesn't pay any of my bills.

Just to let everyone know right off the bat so there's no bitching... Neither Arcadia nor myself will be able to show up this week. I'm at her aunt's house right now writing this and neither of us have any internet access of our own until this upcoming Wednesday. I already sent Jeff a Private Message concerning this and we hope to do both the Taipei Deathmatch and the Overdrive Title defense next week so they aren't shitty squashes...

But we'll see what's more important... keeping your talent healthy and happy or making examples out of people...

The main issue is no showing without reason. I knew you guys (trev and arcadia) have limit access to the internet right now, so from my view, this isn't directly mainly at you.

What I'm trying to get at is if you can't RP, try to let me know, or if you know something is coming up and you might not be able to RP, I need to know before the deadline, not a day later. I mean, If I know enough a head of time, I can extend the deadline a bit, or can let a match wrighter know not to write some epic match when there's gonna be a no show.

When I booked a 5 match card and there was 4 out of 10 RP's posted, and two of the RP's was posted from 1 person, then something needs to be adressed. I understand shit happens in real life, and sometimes its out of your control, but to make my life easier as a fed head, its nice to know if you can't RP so I can book cards accordingly.

Jeff's stance on thing; is the right way to go about it. I have read and understood that, if you no-show with good reason, nothing will be held against you. The action that has put forth for those who no show with-out warning, is fair. And in cases where you can't get to the computer to notify management about a no show, you just got to take the squash or whatever and explain yourself afterwards. Though, I doubt if your a rare no-shower you will be squashed simply because you failed to RP one rare week.

John Green has come up with the most piss poor excuses I have heard in my life. And while I am not excusing anyone here of pulling this, I know people go as FAR as to claim they had a major death in the family simply to get out of their duties. Just visit a few federations, the death stories happen way too often. Honestly.

Where was I going with that? Don't know, a little vent of mine. lmao. Just be real about the situation, and it should be all good. If you felt like you didn't want to roleplay...just fucking say it. At least one time, I had a match to write and I didn't have in on time. My reason? I couldn't be bothered that day. It's rare (for me at least) but shit happens.
