Ok I'm gonna try to give this a shot now that I've at least been here a month. I'm still in the dark as to a lot of what is referenced as apart of APW's past, but I can comment on recent stuff at least.
Be warned, I don't really pull punches. So I'm sorry if I upset anyone.
Best Match: Jac Glyndwr Vs. Rachel Ellsworth. I thought this was a great technical back and forth that told a great story of Jac's growing frustration after the match. It didn't feel too long and didn't feel too short for the finish. Just hits all the right notes and seemed to capture the attitude of both Mega Stars accurately.
Worst Match: Gonna have to go with Jacob Whitehead Vs. Magnus Colby. It was probably due to a noshow on Magnus part but I felt like I was watching late 90's WCW where they used to humiliate Ric Flair whenever they arrived in Charlotte. As the hometown boy he definitely wouldn't of been boo'd at the end of the match just for losing.
Best Promo: I guess I'd pick SUGOI Suga's interaction with Sally Talfourd, although there really wasn't a "great" promo for this show. Beyond the drama surrounding Mark Mania's company there was virtually no backstage conflict. Nothing really to sink my teeth into. So SUGOI gets it for making me hungry with his great descriptive ability.
Worst Promo: Probably big reveal of CJ Gates taking over Mark Mania's company. Especially with the huge revelation not being enough to distract Mark from even losing his preceding match, it just felt kind of like a forced "Aha!" twirly mustached villain moment that didn't even pan out anyway. As during the main event it looked like Mark Mania had some envelope that probably reversed the corporate takeover. So if it didn't cost Mark his match, and was most likely reversed 30 minutes later anyway, what was the point of it even happening?
Best Face: Gonna have to give this one to SUGOI Suga. He's loveable and hilarious.
Best Heel: I'd love to give this to CJ Gates but his master plans don't even stay in effect for longer than an hour so he honestly looked really weak as a heel. So I'll say Branden Harvey since he's the only other bad guy who had any microphone time to establish a heel character AND he actually won his match. lol.

Well, I'll do my best to defend myself.
The whitehead and Colby match was written in 45 minutes and was more words than the combined output of RPs. So frankly, you're a heel, you no show, you get boo'ed.
The envelope in the main event was misconstrued. That was the letter that was delivered to mania. Not a secondary letter. Sorry for the confusion. IC CJ Gates is the CEO of mania enterprises.

I'm not really sure why I was written as a heel in that match. I'm a face. lol But whatever. I enjoyed reading it. Hilarious.

But I just wanted to counter that most heels still get bizarro cheered when in their hometown. I don't fault you as a writer for it. Most match writers probably wouldn't of even connected the dots that the show was in portland and the guys profile says he's from portland. Especially in 45 minutes. I definitely read it as a OOC jab of "Your character is getting boo'd because you noshowed". But IC it just didn't translate all that well. The fans don't know if a guy hasn't submitted a roleplay for his match, that kind of one-liner would probably be best suited towards a burial by the announcers.

And you're certainly entitled to your opinion and I appreciate that. But if the Yankees don't put out a good product and get destroyed, the fans at Yankee stadium boo.

I was hoping Harvey would come off as a resourceful, yet squirelly face (a lot of the moves like the thumb to the eye and whatnot are from the character app). I got the idea after your RP this week. Guess it didn't come off as planned!

Standout Face: Mark Mania. The storyline him and Gates have going on have me intrigued.
Standout Heel: A tie between Gates and Gooch. They both are going all out with the heel turn and I like it.
Standout Match: Mark Mania vs. Arkia Fisk. Good job on this Mania. I'm interested to see how Arkia's role with the whole Mania/Gates feud pans out.
Most Enjoyed Segment: SUGOI Suga and Sally Talfourd. The interaction between these two were hilarious! LOL. Sally was not trying to give him any indiciation that she was interested. I did at the phone number comment.
Least Enjoyed Segment: Gates being revealed as the new Mania Enterprises CEO. Great addition to the storyline but I feel like it happened too abruptly with the company going public. I feel like it could have been prolonged until the next Deception at least.
Shock or WOW Factor: Buckson Gooch with the creative director of the Deception storyline. Totally caught me off guard.
Overall Opinion: Good show. The new APW era has started off strongly so hopefully we all can keep the momentum going.

Before I feedback, a huge thank you to SalTal for finishing our segment due to our timezone mishaps - she writes SUGOI better than I do.
Standout Face: No one really leaped out at me as being super-standout in the face department this week, so I'll leave this proverbially blank.
Standout Heel: Rachel Ellsworth - primarily because she's going the exact opposite route of the drama and story that seems to characterize most of the rest of APW right now. She goes out there and wrestles - and cheats a bit, sure, but I'll always have the soft spot for the technical badass, especially with the unusual combination with a char as willing to go off and give zero fucks as Rachel is.
Standout Match: Mania/Fisk, IMO.
Most Enjoyed Segment: Gates/Gooch, primarily because it sets the mental wheels turning as to just how much of what happened on this show is interconnected somewhere beneath the surface.
Least Enjoyed Segment: I'll go with the crowd and agree that it was the reveal of Gates as CEO. Both segments regarding the company going public were well written, but I do think there was enough material to stretch it a bit.
Shock or WOW Factor: The reveal was the most surprising bit to me - my lack of familiarity with the backstory of APW probably prevented Gooch's part from being as shocking as it would otherwise have been.
Overall Opinion: Solid show overall, I thought. Things are starting to gel a bit in terms of feuds and the like - I'm looking forward to seeing the next card to see where things go from here.

As for my feedback, I think it was a great show. Some things are starting to happen. It's tough with a show every 2 weeks to really keep the momentum going in certain angles, but I think everyone is doing a great job.
I like the new format of matches being more condensed. For awhile it seemed people were trying to see how long of a match they could write. When you only have a certain amount of words, it really helps you cram in the action.
Thanks to Fisk, Gates, & Gooch for helping and keeping this an exciting week. I'm not going to get into best match/worst match or promo because frankly I'm egotistical and I like everything I do.
