The following is from the official blog of professional wrestler Roy Speede.
So I've got good news, bad news, and great news for the loyal Silver Lining fans out there. First and foremost, the good news is, Roy Speede is alive and well and is continuing to pursue his dream in the professional wrestling world. The bad news is, I am struggling in APW right now, and it's not fair to you, the fans, to see me lose to lesser names like Magnus Colby, who isn't even announced for the upcoming card and may never show his face in that ring again, or Branden Harvey, who ever since that title run of his in 2010, before I even broke into the pro wrestling business, has been falling off into the abyss of lesser talents who think they've got what it takes in the wrestling ring because they can fit in a pair of tights and throw a punch.
I haven't been the hero that the APW needs, and I haven't been the Silver Lining the fans deserve to watch. And for that, I am sincerely sorry.
The great news, and yes, pay attention APW folk, because this serves as a message to all of you, from my opponent this week to the main event talents like Sally Talfourd and CJ Gates, the great news is that that Roy Speede is and forever will strive to be the best wrestler in the world. What this means, simply, is that I'm not going to stop just because I lose a match or two or ten. It means that whoever the hell wins the Undisputed Championship has a target on their back, and I'm willing to fire off as many Silver Bullets as it takes to stake my claim on APW gold.
And who knows? Maybe I wow a few people, show them what I'm really made of, and claim myself a title shot right off the bat? I like the sound of that, Roy Speede, the first APW Undisputed Champion of the new era, of the revival. You know what, let's do it! You hear that, Mister Vice President? Roy Speede is coming for your fancy title belt, and I'm not going to stop until I'm the greatest Undisputed Champ of all time. And yes, that includes besting the streak of the legend known as Terry Marvin.
But first things first, let's focus on what's coming up for me, hmm? I think is name is something like Sugar Sugar, or whatever? Hold on, let me look it up...
Ahh, Sugoi Suga. Or is it supposed to be all caps like I'm yelling his name? Because I CAN DO THAT. Is that what the intention is there? Because I'm pretty sure we don't actually capitalize every letter in our names. Or at least, i haven't seen it before, except when my name is on those posters advertising my next match, and I'm pretty sure this is the biggest match you've gotten the chance to wrestle.
Well, best of luck to you, pal. You're going to need it against Action Packed Wrestling's Silver Lining. I've got a new outlook on things, and that includes making sure that I go on to win. And if I'm the winner, well spoiler alert here: you lose. But that's only a prediction at this point. However, the psychic I spoke to is never wrong, so I'll see you in the ring, and you better bring your best if you want a shot. It's not me you've got to fear; it's what I'm going to do to you to claim that win.
See you on Deception.
