What's up former APW Family. I hope all is well with everyone during these times and I hope my email reached out to a lot of you.

This isnt me making a efed return or anything like that, I am retired from the game. But APW popped onto my head this week so I goggled it to see if the boards were still up and I was happy to see they were. There was a bit of spam so I cleaned that up. Graphics are a little screwy but it is what it is, at least all the content is still here.

So enough of that, how is everyone. Things are good with me. Incase anyone forgotten, APW closed basically when I got trained to be a professional wrestler. Been wrestling for the past 8 years. Only wrestled 4 matches since covid started and had a bunch of shows cancelled because of it. However I did get to do some cool stuff in wrestling. Got to meet some legends and been on the same shows as Honky Tonk Man, Bushwhacker Luke and Tatanka. Won some titles including being a 2 time heavyweight champion. Won a royal rumble, competed in a money in the bank type match, street fight, no dq match and was the most over guy in my home promotion.

Right now I'm taking a break from wrestling, my home promotion has closed down, my girlfriend and I are expecting our first child next year, so my focus has shifted to that. So that's been my life for the last few years

It's great you checked in, a number of people from the APW are still in the EWC and we've been saying what a nice surprise it was to get the email from you!

It's nice to see some people still playing the game after all these years. I dunno how the game is now in terms of popularity, but I'm happy to see EWC still going strong. With wrestling not being as popular as it was back in the day, or the way society as changed with social media, I always wondered if efedding would die off or evolve into something else

President Jeff Appreciate you my brother. Also appreciate the fact you still check in on us from time to time over at EWC. Next year is our 25th anniversary and 23rd season. We'll have to get a Hurricane Jeff appearance at StrangleMania.

Maybe even go old school and have a APW invasion segment or something. We still have alot of love and respect for APW. It's why I keep a link to these forums on our site. All good memories.

Back when you ran BRAWL and then APW was born and was our sister fed. Such good times. Then you guys became huge. I loved the success.

Social media is .. an interesting place. We stay off of it for the most part. We do our discord thing (which you are in) and have our own social media platform. EWC is still going strong. 4 brands, about 25 on each. It's still fun. I enjoy it still, and my son loves watching wrestling, though I've got him watching some old school stuff, not so much anything new. He's only 5. Some of the stuff done today is a little much.

Curious if you watched the new TV show called HEELS? It's excellent. Worth a look if you haven't. All about wrestling and starring Stephen Amell.

I havent seen heels yet, I dont have the channel but did hear good things.

Man running brawl was alot of fun. I feel like I helped elevate not only ewc but apw and other efed with the quality of shows, full length matches every week for every match, getting people involved with sending in segments. I dont remember any fed really doing it consistently for such a long period of time. Part of APW success was taking elements from EWC on how to present the company. EWC always had the best graphics and design for pro boards, real eye catching look.

And let's not forget Survive and Conquer. Writing those matches were brutal. Has anyone since ever wrote a match that had 100 people in it. Nothing like it was ever done and I basically did it as a way to go into a bunch of feds and promote APW haha.

I remember that tournament well, especially considering I won the one I participated in 💪😜

And yeah I often think back to those days. We were young, lots of free time. All EWC shows are bi-weekly now. I don't think I'd ever go back to weekly. Everyone is older now and busy. I got 2 kids now, will be married for 10 years next May. Life is just so different at 40 then when I started at 14.5 😂

I think one of the big reasons for our early success was that we cared about our results and our roster. We wanted the shows to feel like real shows. As if you turned on the tv and were watching us. Plus you and I were always in sync. And when it came to expanding APW out of EWC it was done wonderfully and smartly.

Definitely bro. I dont know where we found the time back then to run weekly. We were fortunate enough to have a great group of people willing to help.


I ran a couple feds before APW that was successful, but the base of running my feds was putting myself in the shoes of the player and listing everything I hated about feds I've been a part of and do the opposite. That's where my never late results came in, and I can proudly say my results were never late. And trying to reward the people who wrote excellent Rps with great results and matches, and I feel I did that.

But man, I don't know where I found the time for it all, but I don't regret any of it

Man, what a trip. I was just thinking about e-feds yesterday, and I rarely check my emails but I happened to need a verification code today and then I see this. I was only on here for a hot minute and I'd be amazed if anyone remembers me but 1) I'm glad this place is still around, I really should go pull down my RPs because I hate that I never did so back then. 2) It sounds like your life has been a rollercoaster and that's incredible to see. I feel like I've SEEN a match of yours on YouTube before but I'll definitely go take a look now; how utterly dope that you made it so far!

CONGRATULATIONS on everything in your awesome-sounding life, Jeff (or El Fuego?!), and thanks for being a stand-up dude who doesn't forget his humble origins.

Hahaha. My man, I have a crazy life too, and the number of even people I've COMPLETELY ADORED and then forgotten is... innumerable. When it comes to these kind of projects, at the scale you were doing it with APW at your height? Of course you don't remember everyone. I do remember you being very supportive when I was going to pieces around the end of this fed and trying to get my life together enough to appear on the final shows; so seeing your name sparked a fondness, but I honestly don't remember offhand how much we directly interacted outside of that.

Life's a funny old thing, but I'm very glad yours worked out the way it did. Hope it keeps on pumpin' and jumpin' for ya!

President Jeff - Absolutely my bro. That's where it was for you and I, we wanted to be on-time for every single card and result. The only real delay in results I ever had back then was when my son was born a week earlier than expected. Other than that, the goal has always been: On time results.

We also shared the same mantra of "members come first". We always cared about the story, helping the handlers constantly improve as writers, and putting on a good show that showed we valued and appreciated their efforts. Its what I still strive to do this day, and man .. if I didn't .. no way the EWC would still be going. I've also learned to delegate and not take so much on myself. I've got such a good staff now it's mind blowing. They are super supportive, share my same philosophies, and always care more about the members than anything else.

So many efeds start and fail these days because the owners have hidden agendas or put themselves/their friends over instead of those who earn it. You and I were never like that.

When it comes to our "time", dude .. you and I were so young haha. We had minimal responsibilities. I started EWC when I was still in highschool. We were kids. All the time in the world. Now, I got a wife, 2 kids, run my own business .. time is not something I have a lot, but thankfully I'm surrounded by a lot of people who are always willing to help and make sure we get everything out on time.

Hell .. we do a 4 Day WrestleFest every year in December. Days 1-3 are in REAL TIME, results and segments live and on the go. I couldn't pull that off without help. The staff and I run in shifts and take turns posting from 10AM till 8PM on those 3 days. Its a blast. The fed gets a good kick out of it. Especially since we allow segments and such on the fly, reacting to things as they happen.

I'm so happy you messaged us all here, its so nice to catch up with you. I know we usually get our "yearly" catchups, but this is nice. I'm glad you're doing well and I'm excited for you to be a Dad. You're gonna love it!

When that email popped up, so did a smile.

I dipped out early enough that the eventual end of the fed was after my time, came back for the reunion and (at the time) felt I was done with the game. Jason Cashe (nee Kash) got me on the horse again in 2017 but it never stuck. 2020 came around and a sequence of events led to me finally giving it a go again (in EWC, no less) and the last few months have been enjoyable. It's been over 10 years since I was introduced to APW, close to 9 years since I properly got involved and it's one of those times I genuinely felt happy about being in the game. I hope that email gets a few more people looking back on things, especially since some of those who had a significant impact on me are those I also haven't had the opportunity to speak to in years.

I'm older now, wiser in some ways and probably in the best position I've ever been in. But that APW run helped in ways I can't quite measure, but certainly enough to matter even now.

It's nice to be reminded of this time in our lives, it seems like a lifetime ago especially considering how different the world is now. I have not "stayed in the game" so to speak, I don't even watch wrestling anymore. I wish the modern product appealed to me but it definitely does not. Still it brings some sort of satisfaction to remember how much it used to mean to me.

First of, congrats on having a baby on the way, along with the success your having with wrestling as a whole. Shame your home company closed down. But glad your alright and I still rate you as one of the best fedheads I've worked with, besides the SupremeCW fedhead.

Wats funny is jeff knows i been following him this whole time. Was good to watch him win those titles. Great times in apw! Nuttn beats my time in apw ever. I still bug kash from time to time when he isnt texting me at 4am 😜 . Some of you know im married, still married to the same woman just disabled. Her 3 kids turned into our 6 kids. And now her condition has gotten worse to where shes in bed all day and nite whether i like it or not. Lots of work to do, chasing kids, getting them to school, dealing with everything alone is insanely difficult. Id be lost with out the older 3 kids to help with the babies. The oldest is 17 already and the youngest is 2. Where does the time go?

HA ..what a blast from the past..I wasn't here long but it was a memorable time. I was introduced to the game by Mannie I forget the whole characters name and I and the guy who introduced me to him were talking this week and I asked about him...trippy! Anyway I was part of the Dying Breed with Anthony Bailey ..Jair Hopkins... I am going to claim to be a tag team champion (freebird rule). I last posted in 2013..since then I got married (going on 6 years), started fostering rescue dogs and helping them find forever homes and just working and staying healthy. This so crazy one of my fraternity brothers started a promotion in Maryland called AWA (Assault Wrestling Alliance) and attended their first show this past Saturday. I pray everyone is well. Hey gang! Things are going well on this end. I've got 5 kids now. A lot more gray hair, too. I'm getting to be an old man, but it's better than the alternative.

I still talk quite a bit with guys like Talon from CRW, CJ Gates, and James Metro. It's been so long I don't really remember who was here and who is in CRW. The memory fades.

I tried efedding again about 2 years ago and just couldn't get back into it. If it were the right situation, I imagine I could slip back into it, but I stay pretty busy with football, baseball, and basketball online simulators. Kinda like RPing but with Sports instead. I'm having a blast with that and have played now for years.

Glad to see you all are doing well. It's fun to pop back in from time to time.
