Get to work this morning to find out that they've closed for the holiday today. And, since I haven't been there long enough, I don't get paid for the day, and now have to go to work tomorrow to make up the pay...

Apparently an e-mail was sent around, but I rarely check my e-mail... and I work in the lab, which I usually have to myself, so no one told me...
I just thought it was weird that they've been bitching about not being able to produce enough, then shut the plant down, when they never did on the last two holidays....
Oh well, once my 90 days are up, I make double time and a half for every holiday I work...

Yeah, it's actually kinda funny, because Canada started in on the Nazis when they actually started causing problems, not 2 years later when America finally got its ass in gear. Go figure that Canada will actually help other countries out when there actually are problems, not just C-student morons blindly groping for oil and their father's love.
Although, it's actually called "Rememberance Day" in Canada, and it's meant to honour/celebrate/remember the end of World War I, which also happened on November 11th... or something...
