What a week this has been for APW. Meltdown loses its TV deal. Connor O’Reilly gets fired. Tonight is Doctor Phates last match and no on knows if Phate will win the belt and leave APW. But none of that was as shocking as when this past week on Overdrive, when the show went off the air, it ended with Hardcore Ice standing over a beaten down Twister and Michael Lively, holding their tag titles in the air. A sight no one thought that would happened, but it did. And Hardcore Ice plans on making that sight happened against at November Reign
The scene opens up at the AT&T Center in San Antonio Texas where a car pulls up in the parking garage. The car parks in front of a wall and the door opens and out comes one half of the APW Tag Team Champions, The Hardcore Kid. The Kid grabs his bag with his ring gear from the passenger seat and has the bag over his shoulder. With Sun Glasses, Jeans and a APW November Reign T-Shirt on, The Kid walks towards the door into the arena. But is then stopped by Phil and a Camera Man.
Phil: Hardcore Kid, can I get a word with you please?
The Kid stops
THK: I’m a busy man Phil. I have a big match tonight to get ready for. The hell do you want?
Phil: I just want your thoughts on your Tag Title match tonight.
The Kid takes off his sun glasses, and puts them up on the top of his head and begins answering Phil’s question.
THK: My thoughts? MY THOUGTHS? My thoughts are that this match shouldn’t even be talking place. When Royce and I fought against Twister and Lively on Meltdown, everyone know’s that we got screwed. Anyone with half a brain knows it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Connor O’Reilly paid the referee to make that fast count at the end of the match. You know, I never liked that guy, nor did I trust him. But with him gone now, its even playing field as Hardcore Ice walks into November Reign tonight to defend our tag team championships.
Phil: You come off a big win from Meltdown, but your partner didn’t pull out the W. Are you sure you two are ready to face Twister and Lively Again?
THK: I destroyed Dangerous X. I destroyed him so much that he hasn’t shown his face around here since. As for Jason, he didn’t get pinned in his match. But tonight, we face those two bone heads one more time. We know what their capable of. We know how good they are. But it won’t be déjà vu for us. History won’t repeat it self with us losing tonight.
Phil: This match isn’t any ordinary tag match, since we’re in Texas, President Jeff has made this match a old fashion Texas Tornado Tag Team Match.
THK: Phil, Jason and I could care less what kind of match this is. But in a match where there’s no tagging, and all four of us is in the ring at the same time is just our kind of match. Once the sound of that bell is heard, all hell with break lose, guaranteed. A match like this is just up Jason’s and I ally. We are ruthless and dangerous. A match where our Hardcore Style comes into play, a match where there’s no count outs or disqualification, Twister and Michael Lively are gonna be in for a world of hurt. Matches with no limits, we’re not afraid of. Actually, we do quite well in them. Remember the tables match against Sabur and Tony Blackwell. How about the Buried Alive match last month. So we fair well in gimmick matches, and tonight will be no different when we beat Twister and Lively all over the AT&T center. We’ll beat them in the ring, out of the ring, in the crowd, in the concession area, in the parking lot, in the bath room, everywhere. And when the time is right, We will eliminate them from the match one after another. We’re going in this match with the goal to win and retain the titles. There’s no other thoughts going through our mind. When we’re done with Twister and Michael Lively, they will wish that they lost to us at Meltdown and didn’t get this title shot.
Phil: I spoke to Michael Lively earlier….
THK: I heard what Livley had to say and I don’t really care. I’ve heard it all before. “Hardcore Ice doesn’t deserve the titles” “Hardcore Ice sucks” and “Blah Blah Blah.” I ask you guys, can you be on the same page tonight. I mean, Twister is Tazering Lively and his mom. Lively is playing jokes on Twister. They don’t care about the tag titles. They just care about being better than the other. And that’s not going to get them anywhere’s tonight. Team work is key, and without that, your nothing. Royce and I been teaming up since like eight months now, and you guys been teaming up for two weeks. You guys are great singles wrestlers, but you got one lucky break as a tag team. And tonight, At November Reign, we put an end to it. So tonight boys, bring everything you got, hell, even bring your mom who’s slept with most the locker room. Because after Hardcore Ice is done with the Holy Storm, maybe Ms. Lively will want to spend an evening with some champion. Maybe teach her a few double team moves. But Twister, Lively, Tonight, our reign as Tag Champs will continue and we will walk out still APW World Tag Team Champions. We’re not joking around here. We mean business and tonight boys, you got yourselves a date with the Devil when Hardcore Ice sends you STRAIGHT TO HELL!
