So I was getting ready to write Tabitha Crowley VS Link for Overdrive and I noticed Link's roleplay. So with Arcadia's and Tabitha's players sitting next to me, we noticed a couple of things that we didn't think made any sense.

He mentioned that Tabitha had said in my roleplay last week that "Link lost his Xtreme Title to Fyre Angel." Tabitha's player read this and said, "Wait, no I didn't!". So I decided to go check out my roleplay... and apparently I"m a Jackass... I was really tired and trying to rush out that roleplay before my local library kicked me off of the computer. I think I was trying to write something in character that reflected the fact that he only won the Overdrive Title 'cause Arcadia no showed and Jeff felt like making an example out of her. Again, this is what I get for not smoking enough pot... You all get to suffer from my sobriety. Or maybe this time its just Tabitha that suffers by looking stupid 'cause of my mistake.

Either way, I just wanted to clear that up...

Oh, and Link, Tabitha was right about you "cutting a promo for Overdrive after the show went off the air." That was her attempt at a clever way of using an out of character happening (you didn't post your roleplay last week until AFTER the deadline) in her roleplay. I guess it didn't come out clear enough.

What the fuck is that? What does that mean? Balanced? You're just equally good at EVERY style of wrestling there is? Or does he equally suck at all of them...

And the fact that you use Benicio Del Toro as your pic base doesn't help me either since I don't even have a wrestler your character is loosely based on to work with... I mean... If I was writing a Jason Royce match and I didn't know anything about his character, I could just write him as a less talented CM Punk. Now I just write you as a Benicio Del Toro wannabe? How the fuck do I do that? Just make you a really bad actor? No, wait, now I'm going back to Jason Royce matches...

I don't mean to step on any toes, really. But this honestly didn't need to be posted in the public for all too see. While I'm not jumping to any conclusions in specific, shit like this seem's like a sway for votes. I used to write for a rap battle site, you'd always have the odd person taking your bars, and then breaking them down, you know? If I called them fat, they'd go as far as to post a picture of themselves to deminish it? I'm sure the context somewhere in there makes sense...

Also, a personal beef. Don't break Kayfabe. I haven't read Links roleplay, and even if there was a error in timing--IGNORE IT. I've faced people who shot their promo a few days ahead of the actual date in time, as if it was happining on that said show we were moving towards. You don't refer to them as if they had just said it. You twist it, as if you know they ARE going to say it.

So, I don't see anymore side more guilty then the other in this case.

And as for this quote in specific, it just doesn't make any sense to me. So, he posted a minute after the deadline? The promo was not posted on overdrive, so how did he shoot anything after the show? The deadline is NON-EXISTANT and cannot be flipped into character in this case. At all.

Again, not trying to ruffle any feathers. I won't talk about the other stuff, because it sounded as if you were just ribbing him, although I hope this doesn't escalate.

EDIT- I forgot to post the morale of the story.

Basically what I forgot to get to...dont' worry about any errors in someone's roleplay, honestly. This goes for everyone in the fucking effeding world. I'm almost certain the judges can sort through what's just flat out in inaccurate and will discredit it as such. With that said remember there is a difference between inaccuracy, and in character (most likely a heel) purposely taking things out of context, almost lying.

If a RP is one or 2 minutes late, I'm not gonna not count it. I mean, come on. But if the RP is like 4-5 late, then thats a different story.

And Trevor, I think the same way when I write matches, so when I went to write a link match once, I just use Chris Jericho cause I find that Benicio Del Toro looks like Jericho a bit. So ya, if you need to picture a wrestler for Link, use Jericho

Or you can use an imagination and try to write based on my rps. Yeah, sorry I placed balanced, I was probably really lazy when I made that profile, but yes, I'd say Jericho and Edge are balanced wrestlers. But to answer your question, Link sucks equally at each type. And Link isn't modeled after any fucking wrestler. That takes the creativity out of fully developing my character, in my opinion, which I write outside of the ring. I've had loads of matches written for Link and have never had this be a problem.

I'm sorry Tabitha is upset, like Level One said, the small mistake made won't make a HUGE difference.

Don't patronize my character though because of troubles at home. And don't try to respond to something I've said in an rp or try to counter it, thats annoying.

I'm not upset, but this thread or OOC Promo should have never been made.

I'm not upset with anyone, I was really confused. Actually, all the back and forth about Fyre Angel never made any sense to me, and I think my responses to you probably didn't make any sense to you either considering my character started it all...

It just would have helped to know that in the first place. I guess small mistakes like this will happen when more than one person writes your character and you only have the time to skim RP's.

Just wanted to point out that Link, I'm sorry my RP's didn't really follow the storyline that had been built previously, and it's my fault for not paying attention.

I'm pretty sure Trevor only posted this to explain to Link and I why we were cross communicating. Has nothing to do with votes. What is posted on Overdrive counts and what is posted Out of Character has nothing to do with it. If threads on this board expanded in character storyline or swayed voters than Iceman is in a lot of trouble for all of his bitching.

No, I didn't say you or him actually did it. But it's something people do to sway votes. They break down there RP to deminish what's in it, when a voter see's that--you almost can't help but take it into account, or at least think about it when it comes to judging roleplays...
