I'm getting into midterm season at school, but I'm always looking for a good distraction; i.e. making banners.
Now, I've gotten most of the roster who wants one fitted (if you want one, just PM me the name of your pic base/some good pictures if you've got them, what you want your banner to say, any colour preferences you have, and even a "theme" idea if you've got one).
I have a To-Do list of sorts to make graphics around the rest of the site. My top goals are:
-New logo for Overdrive and banners/posters/icons to go along with it.
-A house show banner
-Posters for PPVs. Maybe not Carnage, but I'll try to get something worked out for RassleMania.
-Images for the Title Belts. I consider this quite a daunting task, and don't want to tackle it until I'm really familiar with Photoshop.
-A banner and avatar for myself. I feel I have to make these really well done so newbs wanting banners can see what talent I have.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If you guys have any ideas for what things on the site could use graphics, lemme know. The sooner, the better. The way things are looking for me, I may be living with my girlfriend's family from May to August thus making me internet-less; so I want to have APW set-up well enough that my presence won't be too sorely missed.
So, yeah, reply to this thread to help me brainstorm.
Oh, and if any of you know graphic designers who are into e-feds, get them to join. I could use all the help I can get/get someone who actually knows what they're doing to spiffy this place up.

How about an Title banner Matt. You don't have to put a title in it. Just put the name of the title and the suoerstar it's for. It could look like your APW Staff Banner.

Technically you didn't beat his ass, Marcus Saxton did ;D As for the title banner thing with the persons name, I don't think we need to put the persons name in it. Mainly because thats something that you'll especially need to keep updated if theres title changes. And with you being gone from may-august, if theres a title change then you won't be making a new banner. Catch my drift? |
