* The scene opens up with Jesse Nunez next to his wife Victoria backstage at a house show standing in front of a steel fence with the APW sign on it. Jesse is looking into the camera and begins to address his opponents for Mayhem.*
Jesse Nunez: “So at the pay per view coming up in just a day in Washington DC, its gonna be an even bigger event than Rasslemania was this year. That is because this time The Prodigy is on the card. Max Carter and I have been training for a lil’ over a month now. We’ve watches filmed, we’ve ran our miles, we’ve benched to our maxes, we’ve spared in that ring for countless hours everyday. And as each day passed I could see just how determine Max has been to get in that ring and not just tear Streets Wilson, but Hurricane Jeff as well. You two think just because you jumped me at the Overdrive tapings awhile back that you have the advantage or momentum goin’ into our tag match than you better than think again.”
“Streets Wilson, who thinks he is such a badass that he talks in third person mode like he is narrating his own life. How are we suppose to fear a guy who can’t even speak like a normal person? Oh no lets run for the hills because Streets Wilson is comin’. The fuck you talkin’ about? I don’t care how many moves you have or how many times you had sex with yo’ mother back when you were twelve. None of that strikes fear in my eyes. I wasn’t gonna say that you sold-out because I did not even know who yo’ bitch ass was to begin with. Just another nobody in the street who thinks he can brawl with the best of em’.”
“I know you and Jeff are lookin’ for a wrestling match, but Max and I have decided to give you something else. A fight. A fight that you cannot win. You see believe it or not I am an athlete, been one since I could walk. Basketball, football, wrestling, track, you name it. I do not do drugs unlike you who obviously believe that you are an athlete of any kind. Just because you are in this business, it does not mean that you are automatically gonna be an athlete. I mean lets compare us shall we? I’m two hundred and forty pounds of pure muscle and look at you, well the way you are heading you are probably gonna end up just being a washed up fat nobody that shows up on wrestling shows every once in awhile to make money because nobody on the streets will ever pull up and ask you how much?”
“What kind of name is Streets Wilson anyways? You must have been tryin’ real hard to think of that name right? Probably the name of the street you grew up on while you were playin’ with yo’ dolls outside the house while the other lil’ boys were playin’ ball on the concrete. I’m not judgin’ you Streets, just sayin’.”
“You think Hurricane Jeff needs protection. He is a former world champion of something, why would a guy need protection?”
* Jesse pauses.*
Jesse Nunez: “Wait a minute.”
“I know what it is. It is so obvious! How did I not see it before!?”
“You and Hurricane Jeff are gay!”
* The fans in the arena burst out laughing. Except for the gay ones.*
Jesse Nunez: “You and Hurricane Jeff are riding each other like those two cowboys from Brokeback Mountain. I hope you two use a saddle for the real protection.”
“No but with all jokin’ aside.”
* The fans in the arena break out into a “Brokeback Mountain” chant. Jesse pauses and just smiles as does his wife.*
Jesse Nunez: “Well its obvious to the fans out there in the arena that my theory is no joke to be taken lightly. Of course you two can get married in Massachusetts if you want. I had my wedding there and while I was goin’ through all the papers and stuff I saw that two dudes can legally get married if they wanna fuck if they so choose.”
* A “Jesse” chant breaks out in the arena but Jesse continues to talk over them.*
Jesse Nunez: “Hurricane Jeff and Streets, you have gotten on my wrong side recently, and that is not the best side to be on. Just like BDC and his brother. Oh yeah Streets, unlike you, I do not just talk about doin’ it, I actually killed a man on a live webcast for millions and millions to see and these people still love me. I cannot be the bad guy in their eyes no matter how hard I try. But deep down I’m the greatest villain this world has ever seen. I’m greater than the Joker, greater than Lex Luther. I’m America’s Nightmare Streets, the only prophecy that is only gonna happen is Carter and I beating you two senseless that you will think about an early retirement due to embarrassment.”
“I hope you are alive Streets. Because I plan on killin’ what is left of you at Mayhem. Tell me I can’t. I won’t hear you.”
* Jesse Nunez and Victoria walk away from the camera as the scene ends.*
