I enjoyed segments, good job guys. Dr. Phate return was quite the surprise. I think to Hardcore Kid dropping his name could've been excuted 100 times better, so that was a bit of a let down; and furthermore I hate to be a downer on things, but that main-event made little sense to me to the point where I don't even know where to start.

Meh, I’ll review the entire thing in detail anyhow. I liked the show don't get me wrong, majority of the roster got involved to put on a show, but I think big peices of this show has lost it's place in terms of storylines and direction.

I’ll start off with the first segment that isn’t mine. Well written segment, a good solid read. I think the idea of Phate returning could’ve been delayed a bit better; to build the surprise, but I enjoyed what he did here.

Matches typical for a weekly show, served its purpose, easy on the eyes and a good read. Congratulations to the winners on the night.

I like the name change; but when I had written up a storyline plan for it a month or so ago, it would’ve been much better if carried out. This could’ve been a storyline, as opposed to a single segment. Nothing against THK/CHRIS, nothing wrong with the name change, it was just carried out as a disappointment.

Another good skit by Phate, with the letter. It wasn’t meant to be a deal breaker; it progressed the story of the return, it’s served its purpose. Nicely done.

Short build up from Pence, nice to continue on with the show. To add in the segment with his manger is was solid. Not sure about the rib-injury bit, given Level-One’s situation, but it shouldn’t effect much.

The main-event. My opinion here; but it really made zero sense to me. You have Pence Weatherlight acting like a heel by doing things like taking on the referee and trying to win with (hardcore championship?) shot to the face, and the crowd still supports him which makes little sense to me. Then the Strange interference on top of that; it seems irrelevant to any story, as I figured I was still feuding with Pence.

I’m being honest here; given the situation of the main-event at Mayhem with me being pinned and all; it’s sort of feels shitty to see Shadow walk out with a DQ. I understand trying to keep the champion credible or whatever, but I feel jipped off in this sense, considering I was on a seventeen win streak and pinned in a fatal four match. I’ve gotten over that for the most part, but this sorta brings it all back up again. Meh.

So yeah, that’s my take. Agree to disagree!

I'll admit, the main event was kinda sloppy. I had no time at all to write it. Time I thought I was gonna have just didn't happen, so I ended up copy and pasting an old match I wrote and editing it the best I could. I wanted to do more for the match, but I just couldn't. I feel burnt out right now, basically I haven't had a chance to just relax and recharge my batteries from the past 2 weeks of Moving, unpacking, working, putting in some overtime. I don't work this weekend and I plan on relaxing, recharnge my batteries and get back on track.

I completely concur with Level One on this. I don't know who wrote it, but they didn't read the roleplays thoroughly. In mine I stated Shadow would be the heel in the match because of Pence's ideals and how the A.K.A. are anti-heroes, we cheat, get violent etc. Plus Pence just won his title and Shadow is still on a winning streak of decimation, including faces like Kid Cannabis and Jesse Nunez so the crowd would side with Pence, cheering for another EWC face. Shadow should have been the one cheating (albeit not as much as Pence the match could have stayed a good back and forth but with Shadow heeling it up, plus he was the bigger guy so he should have been on top more anyway) Moreover the "Hardcore Championship" confused me too. I just think the main event could have been handled a bit better. Other than that it was a good show, I'm glad to have had a challenge like Pence this week and congratulations to all the winner. Next week should be fun.

I must say that the main event was like a sore with the scab ripped off in comparison to the rest of the matches on Overdrive. I was looking forward to the main event with all of the glamor and epicness that it usually implies, but found myself looking at refurbished work. Not that I have a problem with copy pasting, but if you ever have problems like that again Jeff, don't be afraid to turn to your other match writers, we are here to take the work load off of you at any time you see fit to give us the chance. I know I could have written the main event and did a great job of it and I know AKA could probably do a good job too. Just next time don't be afraid to use us. As for the rest of show, down to the attack by Level One it was great, the whole plot between the wrestlers is thickening, with both members of the main event feeling a level of pain it will only lead to a very interesting rematch at Test 4 the Best. Yes, Level I know it seems strange that I am using almost the same concept, but I am using it for story line purposes for my rps. It is very important for me to build up this new story line and prolong not using the last Enlightenment idea I have and save it for our rematch. This was just a way for me to expand my storyline a tad and to make things even more interesting for the rematch. As for the segments not written by me and Level One, I must say they were pretty good, Phate returning and Kid changing his name to his original name are all pretty good. I have to concur however that it seems rushed for Kid to change his name, but he is entitled to do whatever he sees fit to do. Anyways good luck at the next Overdrive.

Ok, so the main event wasn't up to your normal standards Jeff, but meh, at least it was done, and at least you continue to post results every week and give a fresh card. You admitted it wasn't your best, and that shows why you are the best GM I've ever encountered. No ego, no bitching about the fact that some of the roster weren't happy with what you did, nothing. You took it on the chin and accepted it.

As for the guys who weren't happy with the main event, it's cool to see so much passion in regard to the development of feuds and the way your characters would react to certain things. It shows that you want your APW experience to be the best it possibly can, so kudos for that. I'm glad none of you went off in a rant at Jeff, and put your opinions over in a way wouldn't kick up a shit storm.

Also, Pence said it best when he said that he'd help with writing the main event if you ever need him to do so. My advice Jeff is to not be afraid to use the roster if they offer to help out. On saying that, you do offer matches for people to write all the time, and sometimes they aren't taken, so you're damned if you do and damned if you don't ... ah, the joys of being a GM lol

All in all I think that more positives have come from the constructive critisism this week, and things can only get better

Wish I'd have known about all your stuff Jeff - woulda taken the main event off your hands but Ive been dealing with a lot of internal shit and not really paying attention to the boards as much as I prolly should. Ah well - its one off week and even being off it was still better than most feds results so Great to see everyone active on the RP boards... Hopefully we'll get more peoplle involved in storyline ideas in the coming weeks too

Good show. Things are getting interesting. Doctor Phate is back? didn't expect that. Sorry if my segment didn't come off well. It was my first time doing a segment that had character depth to it. I was happy with it. Plus with what else I have planned for my character, I didn't want to do it all at once, one thing at a time.

Looking forward to fighting Assassin again at Test for the Best. Good Luck Bro
