The fans are enjoying a great night of action , the arena was packed, and the night , one to remember, the show was just getting ready to start as the lights dimmed down, a verry unfamiliar titantron was shown , as they all stood up and looked!



Just then Castleman walked out!!, wearing a dark black pinstripe suit with his shades pulled over his eyes, he then walked down the isleway, slapping hands with the fans, as he got to the apron, he then climbed up, and slid beteween the ropes, taking time to pull a mic out from behind his backpocket, he again saluted the fans as flashbulbs exploded all over the arena, he stopped and bowed, then taking time to raise the mic to his outh and begin to speak to the sold out crowd !!

Well!! this must be what it's like to be a part of the apw family !!, i gotta say i am impressed!, Now as you all know in about 2 months time i will be stepping in as the general manager of overdrive, And i got to say... while we have some talent here, and the potential to take wrestlibng to a new damn level, i see we also have a few ... wat do you care to call them?...silver spooners?, well people i am here to tell you, the era that is getting ready to be born here in the apw is simple, it's called earn it..... or forget it, you see our champions are champions for a damn reason, and that quite obivously is because they worked hard to get where they are at!

and thats the way overdrive will be ran, Listen people... President Jeff would not of signed me on the dotted line, if he didnt think that i would be fair and help bring a new era of excitement to this damn brand, i may not know all the guys yet, but i am gonna make this clear... if you wanna succeed on overdrive i suggest you earn it, because nothing will be handed out, Now on the same token...i am fair, i am not affarid to give chance, and take them as well. I look foreward to this learning pierod i will have, and trust me APW come august.. Wednesday Night Overdrive will have the wrestling community buzzing, because we are gonna set standards and break records, you fans will get a quality show each week that will leave you begging for annother that same night, APW WRESTLING is the future of the industry , and if i have anything to say about it...

we will remain so.... My door is open to all who wanna talk with me, but to those that care to test me, know this.... i have no problem getting the ol wrists taped, and climbing in beteween these ropes, a good leader is alaways willing to get down in the trenches with his men, and i plan on doing just that!!

Just then Justin is interupted by annother superstar comming out, as Castleman takes time to adjust the cufflinks on his suit..

Castleman seems taken a back as the lights fade through the arena. A red glow emerges from the ramp way and the fans explode as BOOM by POD hits the speakers. A light show of pyro ignites the sides of the stage as Twister struts out onto the stage. His trademark sunglasses cover his eyes a permanent smirk etched on his face. He doesnt come down to the ring in gear, he wears instead a black t-shirt style dress shirt and dark denim jeans cover his body. He adjusts the collar on his shirt cockily and gestures to the fans before making his way down the ramp where Castleman awaits curiously. Twister makes a motion towards the stairs then shakes his head and slides in under the bottom rope and quickly makes his way up to his feet. He eyes over the future GM with an unchanging facial expression before turning and hopping up onto the near middle turnbuckle and posing arms out stretched for the thousands of fans in attendance. He hops down quickly and makes his way across the ring motioning to the ring crew for a microphone. The crew knowing whats best for them quickly ablige as the lights return to normal. Twister paces back and forth around the ring then turns and looks at the well dressed man standing but a foot or two away from him. The fans stir in anticipation.

Twister inches the microphone towards his lips and the fans errupt in a "One more match" chant which draws a chuckle from Twister but doesnt get him any closer to talking. Castleman looks around at the uproarious crowd and yet begins to stir impatiently. Twister again brings the mic to his mouth.

No... Im not here for that guys sorry to disappoint.

Castleman cocks his head slightly as Twister remains relatively expressionless... Not about to give anything away.

Jeff told me about you Justin. Told me he had a guy lined up to take over some of the responsibilities around here. There's one thing you have to watch for though man... The boys around this play ground... They dont exactly play well with others.

Castleman raises his mic but Twister quickly cuts him off.

Ya ya, I know what your gonna say man... I've been around the block a time or two, I can take care of myself. I never meant to suggest you couldnt handle your own fights. I mean shit, even our esteemed president Jeff, once a revered athlete in ring had to hire some help to protect himself and his investments.

Hold it there... Twister you say? Yeah I heard about you... Wasnt it YOU that was the reason Jeff needed to hire help? Wasnt it YOU Twister that put him out of commision...

Twister smirks as the fans burst out again for Twister. Twister nods in agreement.

Its good you know that... Shows you've done some homework around here. So you know about me... Means you probably knew what I was gonna tell ya too. It means son... You need some back up around here. Since you know my history... Maybe more over... My reputation... I only have one more question for you.

Twisters smirk widens as he eyes over the future GM of Overdrive. The fans stir in anticipation as Twister brings the mic back up to his mouth.

Wouldnt you rather have someone like me on your side than against you?

The fans pop again as Justin takes a step back and adjusts his cufflink pondering Twisters offer.

yea.. twister.. i know you quite well, but you gotta admit, the whole tying to presuade a desicion with past aggression has been done to death by that rated r retard in the wwe, the fact is twister, your an valuable commidaty here in apw, as seen by the fans, but you have gotta realize one thing my friend, idol threats disquised as niceness never works with me, Now you wanna show me the ropes and help me learn the in's and out's of this fine company that's fine, i mean hell the first overdrive that i produce, i planed on doing an apw hall of famer appericiation night, and i had planned on you being in attendance

But listen closely, I know what i want overdrive to be, where it will go, and who i want to lead it, and buddy if you want to be part of that future i suggest you do the manly thing, which would be to come to me, face to face like you are now... shake my hand and offer your services without having a cocky and smartass nature to it, because truth be told son..... i would love to have you on board...... but you either come original.... or pack youur damn bags

because the future and the history of apw is worth more to me, than the attitude and cockyness of a retired apw great...

this match wont end .. till one man can no longer defend him self... or gets 4 falls or submissions... whatever comes first.. and it will go on for weeks till you either quit....

Voice over PA: Baby don't fear the reaper....

The titantron bursts to static as the fans stand up and begin roaring with excitement and applause "Come to Life" by Alterbridge hits as the static fades from the screen replaced with scenes of Pence Weatherlight taking down foes in EWC and APW alike, and as the fans look at the entrance ramp, they see him. Clad in a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and a pair of nikes, Pence looks into the ring, and shakes his head. He hoists his championship title over his shoulder and makes his way down to the ring, slapping hands and taking pictures with the fans. Both men seem confused as to why exactly Pence would interrupt such an important conversation, but Pence gets into the ring, clearly confused as to who Castleman is or even to why Twister is out here. The fans chant "Mr. Main Event" as Pence holds his title up in the air and the fans chants grow even louder, completely dieing out what Twister was about to say to him. Pence goes over to one of the corners and sits down in it, looking at the two men.

Pence: I see you like barging into my office without permission. I will let it slide this once, but seriously you both need to learn how to find your way around this arena. I expected better from you Twister, I mean after all you should know better than to bring your retired ass into my ring and think you can intimidate the up and coming GM of my brand without me saying my piece. At first though, I was going to let you two knock heads until you intimidated him. If there is one thing I can't stand in this business its people like you, fake fan favorites parading around like they matter. So let me tell you how things are going to work twister, there are two options. You go back into the back, shutup and know your role, or I can make you regret entering into my office uninvited. And by regret I mean I will kick your ass so hard you won't even be able to hold a staffing position let alone make threats.

The fans all begin to cheer with a few murmurs from the real Twister fans out in the arena. Castleman starts chuckling, but Pence looks at him awkwardly, and stands up.

Pence: Listen new kid, your just as guilty as this guy here. Your threats have not gone unheard either, but if you try that bullshit you said to Twister on me, you might as well hope to God I get killed in that match, because I never let go of a grudge if I am wronged in a manner that displeases me. Plus if you do that you will lose your biggest "cash cow" as you said, because Twister may have fans, but I have all of his fans and then some. But before I introduce myself, may I ask who the hell are you? All I know is that you are some kind of new GM for this show, tell me stuff that is a little deeper than that. If you really want me to work with you, I have to know you. Plus I need your resume, because as champion I like to keep everyone's records, injury reports, and move lineups in a personal folder on my laptop, just so I can be on top of my game.

Pence crosses his arms over his chest and stares at Twister.

Pence: Your dismissed Twister, me and the new GM need to have a talk, unless if you want to come out of retirement and make me allow you to stay.

The fans cheer as Pence gets into the face of Twister.

all you need to know weatherlight, is that come august, ifd you have that attitude, you will defend that title...if you still have it, every week till i see a chaange in attitude or untill you lose it, i am a vet in my craft, i gm'd smackdown for 5 years and led it to greatness, and i can do the same for you, if your willing to shut up, and know your place, bu telling me what i need to do?

The fans boo castleman at his statement and pence holds up his hand to quiet the fans and such, he grabs the microphone back from Castleman and looks at him and shakes his head.

Pence: You see theres the problem right there, you think you can make me lose this belt. Listen up because this is what I'm going to tell you Castleman, nobody can make me lose this title. Not you, and definitely not any of those unentertaining pricks in the back. I'm not champion solely because of my skill and battle prowess. I am champion because of these people in the arena tonight. So if you do put me in a title defense every week, rest assured that these people will enjoy the show even more than they did before because that means definite spots at the height of the night and there is nothing more entertaining than me stomping every single piss ant in the back for the fans to enjoy. So yes, I think I will keep my current attitude and I look forward to your lackeys getting their asses kicked by me.

Pence smiles as the fans pop all around him quite excited to be here for sure to listen to their champ lay down the law of the land.

Pence: However, as far as you thinking you can screw me over without repercussions, which is quite the attitude your displaying today, I'm going to say that if you screw me over, the fans will leave. I am the APW World Heavyweight Champion and the man with the largest fan base in the entire APW. Screw me over and your up shit creek without a paddle understand? Oh and please bring on the surprises for Overdrive, are you going to stick your nose where it doesn't belong and try to disqualify me from the match? That's the only reason I've lost so far, in truth I am undefeated.

The fans all start to chant "Pence" as he raises up the championship belt.
