RIP.
Unfortunately, I had to shut off every television in my house. I watch the news, often. In about a week, when they stop whoring his death out for ratings and shoving it down the throats of millions, I'll turn my television BACK on.
EDIT- Before anyone jumps on this (and by leaving my comment at that simply, they will) please note that I'm overly dissapointed at how the Media handles issues like this, and that's where my comment stems from. They will be using his death to reek profits, until they can no longer, while forgetting what is happening in Iran, or the fact that America in particular, is still going down the shittier quicker than you all know it.
Fuck sakes; after today, they should leave the guy alone.

The guy was a total nutjob. It was all to do with his childhood and the way he was brought up, but seriously - he was insane. Then there was the child abuse thing. Personaly, I think he did it, because if I was ever accused of molesting a kid, I'd fight every step of the way to prove my innocence, even if it meant going to jail.
That being said, he was a legend when it comes to music. the Bad and Thriller albums are still to this day two of the best albums ever made, and he was brilliant at what he did.
It's sad for the world of music, and for his family, but now he's at peace from what ever demons haunted him, and he can heal and move on. I believe that life is a learning process, and when we pass away our souls go somewhere (whether it's Heaven or whatever you want to call it), and we reflect on the lessons we learned in the shell we just left behind. Then, we decide if we want to continue learning, and come back in a different form.
R.I.P MJ.
As for the press and media LO, you are 100% right. They will make as much money as they can from this, but what else did any of us expect. At least his death will bring the world together, because things like this always do.

I wish I shared the same optimism as you, Chris. But nothing has, and never will bring this world together.
It'll just blind you from what's really going on behind the scenes, until your distracted by just another media shit storm.

I mean that people will mourn his death in every country. The media will blow this all out of proportion, and his funeral will be completely over the top and blah blah blah. Methinks that you are a bit of a conspiracy theorist LO ... so am I. We should hook up on MSN and put the world to rights sometime lol. As for nothing bringing the world together, well WE can, it's just that WE don't want to, because we're scared of the repurcussions. WE have the power to bring down the establishment and start all over again ... but all that'll happen is that WE'LL appoint a new leader and establishment (or it'll be fought over - watch the TV series Jericho ... it's awesome), and then the whole cycle will start all over again. Oh well, such is life

Mother fucker will be back in 3 days. Like it or not, MJ is Jesus. Jesus loves the little children and you don't even need to know who the fuck he is but you will always know Beat it and Thriller. It's in your hearts bros.

Ehh, to a certain degree. Goverment related stuff; yes, especially in America. I also don't like the term ''conspiracy'' because they tag that with anything outside the ''official'' story, and we all know how that turns out. I am intrested heavily in American politics, and things going on there, rather than Canada.
I personally am a ''common sense'' thinker. I don't lean in any direction when it comes to issues or subjects. I take each situation how they come.
I don't think it's hard to see; there's something wrong there--and the bullshit they've been feeding you simply doesn't add up. To believe every ''conspiracy'' in every big thing that's ever happened, is ridicolous. To believe every ''official'' story from the media/goverment in regard to what's going on in the world, is also ridicolous.

''Look at Mj, he's being carried to the hospital in the hearse!''
''MJ had intresting relationships with young boys...''
''Now watch as the fans cry for MJ outside his home''
''MJ may have died from a heart attack, enduced by cokecain, but maybe meth, maybe both, it makes for a much better story...''
For fuck sakes. Give the guy an hour tribute; and fuck off. Bring us the offical story when it is OFFICIAL and SHUT the FUCK up BEFORE then. We don't need to be floaded by the iffs, and's, and butts about his death. I have heard about this all day at work.
The only thing the media hasn't taken a look at; is what the fuck he ate for breakfast on the day of his death, but they'll work it in soon.

This will keep going for atleast a week if not more... so many different stories will come in. I even heard one woman say yesterday "We won't even know if it was a heart attack, he could have taken his own life, we'll never know."
Do we care, hes dead, however it happens hes dead... people know that now, drop it there... but of course no, it won't end there. You'll here all sorts of bullshit assumptions by people. He killed himself, he was murdered, it was drugs... yawn yawn zzz zzzzzz

For me, Death is an insensative issue, so MJ died, and? He was a legend, and? It's death. And on the note of the sharks eating away at his story for ratings, look the fact he had just come from the bathroom where he took a mondo duece right before he collasped. *citation needed*

i myself don't really make it a point to concern myself with what the "media" is doing about it, people are concerned with deaths because when it is a person of this status it is no doubt, the end of an era. I never really even concerned myself with the mans personal life that much, besides the very noticeable fact that he is a physco person (because of several different reasons apparently), I choose to concentrate more on the music... the man was a genius. I guess the point of this is: Micheal Jackson is now "Immortal"... like George Washington.... Ronald Reagen, Achilles (if he was real) WHOEVER, these people are going straight into the history books (mortal flaws included) these people made their mark on the world, and its pretty safe to say they might NEVER be forgotten.

This is sick. Just fucking sick.
The U.S house had passed a climate change bill that will raise ALL your taxes, especially on the middle class as well as the price of everything you can possibly by. These same people have PASSED the bill without READING the FUCKING bill. This happened a few days ago if some of you are out of the loop, and now it's off to the senate.
...but what do they decide to report on all week? Michael Jackson. Michael fucking Jackson, a week later, and they're still trying to find out what time he took a shit from the time he had passed away.
Your goverment is fucked; and when you guys go down, Canada will too. Nobody knows what the fuck is going on; too busy obessing over this media propelled garbage. They blew this out of proportion JUST to hide that bill that passed....
It taxes you for BREATHING. Give me a fucking break. I've held this in a for a few days now, I can't take it anymore.
P.S- North Korea test fired another missle today; just incase you didn't know.
Wake up.

I don't work as I'm still in education, I scrounge off of my mum and go out with mates. Simples. But yeah, the world is a bit fucking corrupt at the moment with the financial crisis, the climate blardy blar... Oh and... I am awake

Fuck it, I need to rant about the kiddie fiddler, so here goes.
It honestly wouldn't surprise me that he's still alive, and this is all some sick ... or very clever plan of his just so that he can clear his huge debts. The guy is/was a fucking fruit job, and I don't think that anything is beyond him.
There are reports of him being in perfect health just days before he died ... hmmm ... also, he kept going on about how the fans would kill him if he pulled out of the tour ... hmmm ... conveniant no?
Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even write the songs that are being played ALL OF THE FUCKING TIME at the moment. People are comparing him to John Lennon, but John Lennon was a million times more talented than Whacko - but then again he was also a fucking loon.
I don't know. I'm fed up with media, and the way they are banging on about him.
I feel better now lol.
