Test for the Best 2009 opens up with a video, beginning with clips from the first Test for the Best in CWF where Alternativ won, and then cutting to last years with Doctor Phate winning, and then the video cuts to present day, with video’s of the current feuds and the Test for the Best competitors. Once the video ends, Pyro shoots out from the stage and the camera pans through the Mexican crowd who are pumped for a night of Action Packed Wrestling. They hold their signs in the air as the camera views the sold out arena before stopping on tonight’s commentators, Johnny Chase and Darren Harvey. Harvey: Welcome everyone to TEST FOR THE BEST 2009!Chase: We have a hell of a show planned for tonight. We have an 8 man single elimination Tournament. The winner tonight will be guaranteed an APW World Heavyweight Title match at Shockwave in August.Harvey: They will either face off against Level One or Pence Weatherlight. Chase: Two other titles are on the line tonight, Chris Cyrus defends against Assassin.Harvey: Chris has gone on record on actionpackedwrestling.tk to say that he won’t wrestle this match as an Xtreme match. He said he won’t use any weapons. But this will indeed still be a match with Xtreme rules.Chase: Also tonight, Shadow will defend his Overdrive title against Mr. Strange. Strange earned the right with a victory over Biggs at Mayhem.Harvey: And we expect Death Wish to make an appearance here tonight.Chase: This guy, who ever he is has been playing Mind games with President Jeff for some time now. Harvey: At first we thought it was Last years Test for the Best winner, Doctor Phate, but then, we thought it was former APW World Champ, Kenny Lambardo, and now, it looks to be Trevor Blackwell. Chase: Who knows who it is. But I hope we find out tonight.Harvey: Speaking of finding out, lets find out who’s one step closer to a world title shot, lets kick off with the opening round of the Test for the Best Tournament! We go to the ring where Tony Ferrari is standing with a mic Tony: The opening contest is a First Round Test for the Best match, and is scheduled for one fall!"King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. As the heavy metal guitar solo comes to an end out comes John comes out wearing his normal wrestling attire with his "The Retribution Killer" shirt on. He smiles as he stands in front of the entrance ramp and does his trademarked "Retribution" pose and sparks and fireworks shoot into the air immediately. Tony: Making his way to the ring first, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 265 pounds, “The Retribution Killer” John Green!John walks down the ramp with a smile on his face as he slaps some of the hands of fans as he walks past them. Before entering the ring he stops in front of the squared circle looking into the ring and lets out a grin before sliding into the ring and standing in the middle of it. Green closes his eyes and takes a huge breath before running to the ropes and shaking the top one forcefully. He then lets out a monstrous roar and beats his chest. He walks to the turnbuckle and climbs them to the second rope and points to himself and then once again does his trademarked "Retribution" pose. Harvey: Here comes a man whom many believe will go far in this tournament, if not flat out win the whole thing! It's never smart money to bet against John Green!Chase: That's for sure! And what a treat we're getting in the first round, as John Green faces off against one of the other men in the Mayhem main event, Jason Royce!John hops off and takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd. His music fades out as he awaits for the bell to ring. “Scars,” by Papa Roach, blares over the speakers as Jason Royce comes out through the curtains to a mixed reaction and poses. Pyro goes off and the lights flash like camera flashes are going off and he flexes then heads to the ring. Tony And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 222 pounds, “The Iceman” Jason Royce!Chase: Royce has had it pretty rough last month, and looks to turn his fortunes around by winning the Test for the Best tournament tonight!Harvey: Well, if there's one way to turn your fortunes around in APW, it's by winning matches!Royce reaches the ring, and is staring a hole in John Green as the ref calls for bell, DING! DING! DING! TEST FOR THE BEST ROUND 1 John Green vs. Jason Royce
As the bell rings, Royce gets a running start and nails Green with a Running Dropkick to the face! Green is turned around by the move, and stumbles a bit, allowing Royce grab a hold of him from behind, jump up, plant his knees into the small of Green's back, and fall back, drilling Green with a Backstabber! As John Green is on the mat, Royce gets a side mount on his opponent, and starts going to town, deliver a volley of Elbows and Knees to the exposed sides of John Green! The fans are behind The Retribution Killer, cheering him on as he tries to fight his way out of the predicament he's in. As Royce continues his assault, Green is able to wriggle his right arm out from beneath his opponent, and gives Royce a hard punch to the side of the head, knocking Royce off of him! The Iceman is holding the side of his head as both men get to their feet, and Green takes him back down with a Running Clothesline! Royce gets up to get another Running Clothesline, and gets up again to get a Running Clothesline once more! On the third impact, Jason Royce stays down. As John Green reaches down to pull him up, Royce counters by rolling Green into a Small Package, 1 . . . 2 . . . John Green kicks out!
Chase: Quick thinking by Jason Royce there!
Harvey: Both of these men are going to want to end this one as quickly as possible so as to conserve energy for the later rounds!
Both men are to their feet, and lock up in the middle of the ring. John Green uses his strength to get the advantage, nailing The Iceman with a ring shaking DDT! Green follows up by mounting Royce's back, and wraps his arm beneath the throat of Royce, locking in a Seated Sleeper Hold! Royce struggles mightily to get out of the hold, clawing his way to the ropes, which are a fingertip away! Green pulls back harder on the Sleeper, and as Royce's face is turning red, he's able to get his hand on the bottom rope! The Retribution Killer immediately breaks the hold, and motions for Royce to get back up. Royce is slow to get up, so John Green goes in to pull him up by the head. As he's pulling Royce up, Jason delivers a well placed Elbow to the gut of Green, and pops up to his feet to nail John Green in the side of the head with a Roundhouse Kick! Royce pulls Green back up and whips him into the corner, giving him a few Forearm Shots to the face before hanging Green up in a Tree of Woe! As Green is upside down, Royce places his boot on his opponent's throat, chocking John Green, and drawing the ire of the crowd! The ref does the mandatory five count, and Royce let's up on four! He then backs up and gives John Green a Short Dropkick to the face! Royce then pulls Green out of the corner, and gives him a few stomps to the chest before mounting the top turnbuckle! Royce leaps off for a 450 Splash, successfully hitting his opponent! Royce has Green pinned, 1 . . . 2 . . . Green gets a shoulder up!
Harvey: This has been a back and forth match so far, with neither man getting a decided advantage!
Chase: However, Jason Royce has gone for two pin attempts, while Green has gone for none. That tells me that Royce has had more control of this match than Green has thus far!
Royce motions with his hands that it's time for John Green to Go To Sleep, and stalks his opponent as he waits for him to get up! The crowd is boos as Royce gives Green a kick to the gut, and hoists him up onto his shoulders. Before Royce can deliver the move, though, Green gives him several Elbows to the side of the head, forcing Royce to let him down! As Jason Royce holds his head, John Green steps back and gets a running start, nailing Royce with a High Knee! Green pulls Royce back up, switches behind him, and gives Royce the Full Nelson Suplex, bridging his back for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Royce rolls his shoulder up! The fans are in a frenzy, chanting for John Green as both him and Jason Royce make it back up to their feet. Royce goes in with a wild punch, but Green blocks it, nailing Royce with a fist of his own! As Royce is staggered, Green grabs a hold of him, pulling him into a Pedigree position! The crowd is roaring loudly as they anticipate the Head Splitter, but it's for naught, as Royce counters by Back Body Dropping John Green and escaping the hold!
Harvey: Both of these men have tried unsuccessfully to hit with their finishers, and you've got to think that whoever hits with their move first will be moving on in the tournament!
Chase: Not necessarily! We've seen both of these men kick out of finishers before!
Jason Royce has a focused look in his eyes as John Green gets back up to a vertical base! Once John Green is up, Royce gives him a kick to the gut, and lifts him up for the GTS again! Again, Green elbows his way out of the move, and upon landing on his feet, immediately pulls Royce down for the Tap Out! The fans go wild as Royce has no choice but to tap out! DING! DING! DING!
Winner: John Green Harvey: John Green goes on to the second round of the tournamentChase: How exciting is this tournament! The only sure thing is who's matching up in the first round, otherwise, this thing is wide open!Royce is clutching his arm in pain as he rolls out of the ring. The fans cheer for the Retribution Killer as the ref raises his hand in victory! John Green continues to celebrate his victory.

After a commercial for the Rasslemania V DVD going on Sale Tuesday, the ring is cleared for our next bout. The Killers' “Spaceman” begins to play as the arena lights fade to a dim blue. White strobe lights flash from the stage as blue and red spotlights twirl about the arena. Red, white, and blue laser lights shoot from the stage as Biggs enters the arena to a chorus of boos. Tony: The following contest is a Round 1 match in the Test for the Best tournament. Making his way to the ring, The Spaceman, BIGGS!He makes his way down the ramp clad in patriotic garb, mocking the fans as he goes along. Harvey: You can't fault Biggs for being patriotic, but you can say that he's doing this just to push the fans' buttons!Chase: No! Biggs has this special entrance tonight to honor America, and you should be supporting him in honor our country!Biggs reaches the ring, goes up the steps, and slings himself over the top rope to jump into the ring. He raises both arms in the air, extending his fingers upwards to signal “#1” and grabs a mic. The crowd is booing viciously as he begins to speak. Biggs: Ladies and gentleman here in the arena, and those watching at home, let me be the first to tell you that tonight, you are witnessing history, as you all get the opportunity to see me defeat three men in one night to become the #1 Contender for the APW Heavyweight Championship! But before we get to my first match, I must say that I am terribly upset over the fact that I was unable to properly celebrate the 233rd Independence Day of the great country of the United States of America, because I was stuck in this miserable, pathetic, cesspool of a country! So if you will all please rise, and join me in the United States' national anthem! The crowd boos mercilessly as Biggs removes his shades, puts his hand over his heart, and begins to sing The Star Spangled Banner. The music plays over the speakers as an image of an American flag waving in the wind appears on the big screen. Biggs: Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! As Biggs finishes the song, red, white, and blue fireworks erupt from the stage, drawing more boos from the crowd! Johnny Chase can be seen applauding from the announce table as Biggs removes his ring jacket and awaits the entrance of Carl Cruz. "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor surrounds the arena as the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos. Out strolls Carl Cruz he stops at the top of the ramp, Carl raises his arms and soaks up all the boos as a smirk that exudes arrogance appears on his face. Pyros explode in front of him, then he starts walking down to the ring ignoring most of the boos but bad mouthing the others booing in the crowd. Tony: And his opponent, from Los Angeles California, CARL CRUZOnce Carl is at the ring he walks up the steps entering the ring between the middle and top rope. He then wanders over to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it and starts posing to the crowd who react with a loud chorus of boos, once he has finished he jumps down and makes his way to the middle of the ring to get ready for action as his music fades away TEST FOR THE BEST ROUND 1 Biggs Vs Carl Cruz
The bell ring and the two lock up with Cruz getting in with a side knee to the gut of Biggs and punches him to the corner. A reverses Irish Whip to the corner by Biggs sends Cruz to the opposite corner and Biggs nails a running clothesline. Biggs nails a belly to belly suplex and covers him for a 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick out by Cruz. Cruz gets a few shots in on Biggs as he gets to his feet. A head butt by Cruz sends Biggs into the ropes. Cruz goes for a clothesline, but Biggs moves out of the way and Cruz goes up and over to the outside. As Cruz gets up, Biggs springboards off the ropes into a shooting Star Press, taking down Carl. Biggs rolls Carl into the ring and Springboards off the ropes into a leg drop and into another cover. 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick Out
Chase: Biggs bought his way into this tournament, let see if it pays off
Harvey: Its not looking so good right now.

Harvey: Looks like Cruz is about to put this match away

Chase: That one mistake by Cruz might cost him here.
Biggs throws Cruz into the ropes and hit’s a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Carl is up holding his back and Biggs German Suplexes him. With Cruz in the middle of the ring, Biggs signals for the UFO Frog Splash. Biggs gets to the top rope and dives off, but Cruz moves and Biggs hit’s the Mat. Winner and Advancing to the Semi Finals: Biggs Chase: That came out of no whereHarvey: A great counter that wasBiggs rolls out of the ring and celebrates as Carl watches on as we cut backstage The camera comes to life in the office of president Jeff. The long time veteran of this sport sits at his desk with something on his mind. Streets Wilson stands off to the side facing Jeff with his arms in front, looking like a true figure of security. Calm, cool and focused Streets waits patiently for the President to get what ever is disturbing him off his chest. Jeff: I want your team of security at double strength. I can't have Trevor Blackwell crashing our PPV. I can't have him interrupting our Test for the Best tournament. It is real obvious that Trevor and me are far from finished, but I can't have him destroying my organization. He tried to blow me up, who knows what lengths this asshole will go to here this evening. I mean with his IWC being forced to shut it's doors, his mental state must be unstable. This PPV tonight will determine the number one contender at Shockwave. If I know this bastard...he's going to try and ruin the tournament. So , Streets I'm counting on you.Streets: It's no problem for the Lord of the Streets. The camera fades and heads back to ringside.

Tony Ferrari: The following contest is a First Round match in the Test for the Best Tournament, and is scheduled for one fall!“Hellz Wind Staff,” by Wu Tang Clan, plays as Streets Wilson emerges from behind the curtain smiling widely, spinning a switchblade in his hand as he does so. Small children in the front row are petrified, their parents desperately trying to console them. Ferrari: Making his way to the ring first, from Stamford Connecticut, weighing in at 267 pounds, Streets Wilson!Streets pompously struts past the rabid screaming fans. As he steps into the ring he forms an "S" shape with his hands towards the crowd and then removes his trademark fedora from his head, places his blade inside it and places it in his corner of the ring. Chase: Streets is hoping to rebound from his loss this past week on Overdrive, and make an impact on this tournament!Harvey: Streets Wilson is a dark horse in this tournament. It wouldn't be surprising to see him go far!People watching at home see Jesse's titantron playing on their screen for a few moments as “Basic Thuganomics Remix,” by Nuñez, John Cena, and Trademarc hits the speakers. Then it returns to the stage area and Jesse is standing there looking down at his feet with his forearms crossed in front of him. He stands there for a few moments as then Jesse lifts his head up and gives a smirk as he then puts his arms in the air doing the “Word Life” hands as the fans cheer. The camera zooms out from the rafters to show the whole arena on their feet. The camera then zooms back in front of Jesse along with his manager Victoria. Every time the song starts to scratch, Jesse does the “You Can’t See Me” wave with his right arm. Jesse has the "Word Life" fingers in the air going down the ramp toward the ring. Ferrari: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by his wife, Victoria Nunez, from Phoenix, Arizona, weighing in at 240 pounds, “The Prodigy” Jesse Nuñez!Harvey: The Prodigy would like nothing more than to earn the title shot at Shockwave!Chase: Only one man can earn that honor, so every competitor will be pulling out all the stops tonight!Jesse looks around the stadium and sees everybody cheering him around the arena. Jesse then runs and slides into the ring. He removes his T-Shirt and throws it into the crowd, turning his attention back to his opponent. The ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! TEST FOR THE BEST ROUND 1 Jesse Nuñez vs. Streets Wilson
The two competitors tie up in the middle of the ring, and Jesse gets the advantage, giving Streets a Belly to Belly Suplex, and as Streets gets back up, Jesse drills him with a Shoulder Block! Jesse goes for a quick cover, but doesn't even get a one count! Jesse stays on the offensive, pulling Streets up into a Side Headlock, but Streets pushes him off, sending Jesse into the ropes! On the rebound, Streets nails The Prodigy with a Jumping Roundhouse Kick, sending Jesse to the mat! As Jesse is down, Streets blows a kiss towards Victoria, much to her disgust!
Harvey: How dare Streets do that to another man's wife!
Streets gets back on the attack, stomping Jesse a few times before pulling him back up and twisting his arm into a Hammerlock! Streets then pulls Jesse up and sends him down with a Hammerlock Bodyslam! Jesse shakes his arm a bit as he gets back up to his feet to get greeted with a Spinning Backfist from his opponent! Streets combos into Shaolin Uppercut, followed up by the Fury of the Streets combination, ending by nailing Jesse right in the throat with a Knife-edge Chop! The fans boos loudly as Jesse holds his throat in pain, allowing Streets to nail him on the top of the head with the Greek Hammer! Jesse flops to the mat, and Streets covers him, 1 . . . 2 . . . Jesse gets a shoulder up! Before Jesse can get up, Streets gives him a few punches to the head before rolling him onto his belly, and locking in a Judo Choke! The crowd is chanting loudly, trying to will Jesse on as Victoria cheers for her husband as well! Streets rolls onto his back to get more torque on hold, but Jesse rolls through as well, getting ever so closer to the ropes! Streets tries to roll the other way, but Jesse rolls over again, finally able to get a hand on the bottom rope! The ref gets to four before Streets lets up, and Jesse uses the ropes to pull himself up. Streets goes in to grab Jesse again, but Jesse counters by giving him an elbow to the head! As Streets stumbles back, Jesse runs to the opposite ropes, bounces off, and hits Streets with a Running STO! Jesse then goes for the KoneXion, standing near Streets' head, waving his hand in front of his face as the crowd yells “¡Tu no puede verme!” Jesse runs towards the ropes to his left, bounces off, and stops back about a foot away from Streets' head, nailing Streets in the forehead with a closed fist!
Harvey: Nuñez is getting a head of steam!
Jesse motions for Streets to get up, and as he does, Jesse lifts him up onto his shoulders and connects with The Resurrection! Jesse goes for the pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Winner and Advancing to Semi Finals: Jesse Nunez Harvey: The Prodigy wins rather emphatically, advancing to the second round of the tournament!Chase: Streets had control of the match early on, but Jesse showed his explosiveness to pick up the decisive victory! The rather short length of the match can only help Jesse later on as the night continues!Victoria has entered the ring to raise her husband's hand in victory as Streets lays on the mat in pain. The crowd is fired up, chanting Nuñez's name loudly! The scene opens up in the current champions locker room, Pence who is busy reading an english to spanish dictionary so he can learn to speak spanish hears the door to his locker room open. He looks up from the book and sees Cindy, the person who does interviews at most of the PPVs and Overdrive, walk in without invitation. Pence shrugs, maybe she wants an interview and such, he really doesn't mind. She walks up to him microphone in hand and speaks into the microphone. Cindy: Here I am with the current APW World Heavyweight Champion, Pence Weatherlight, who tonight has to fight against his old nemesis, Level One. Pence can you tell me what you are feeling right now? Pence puts his book down and looks into her eyes before speaking over the microphone. Pence: It is simple what I'm feeling, I am feeling the power of the fans, their energy is feeding me to end this tonight for all of them. I am tragically done with Level One, I have no further things to say to him and the fans can feel my irritation to the excuse maker of the century. They too want him to be shut up as much as I do. I can tell you this...tonight Level One has to put up or shut up.Cindy: Alright, can I ask you about who you favor to win the Test for the Best tournament?Pence: I really don't favor anyone Cindy...I really don't want some people to win, but most likely they will. All I can say is that this is going to be an interesting tournament and I look forward to seeing who is the cream of the crop as some people would say.Cindy: One more question...Pence: Sure.Cindy: Who do you think will win the main event tonight, do you think you can come out on top just like you did at Mayhem or will you fall behind and succumb to Level One and his battle plan? Pence stands up, his face lacking emotion as he walks towards the door, and opens it. Cindy looks confused. Pence: Cindy...I will come out on top. I can't lose to him...I just can't. I have to stop him from winning this title or the APW universe will return to normal.Cindy: Normal?Pence: I don't want any self loving hypocritical man controlling a show with his own ego. The fans deserve some level of control over what they are watching, the fans don't need Level One to tell them what is right or wrong, they only need me to enforce their words as law. So in essence I have no choice but to win, to remove an obstacle to the perfect APW. An APW ran by the people and for the people, not for self fame, but for the over all increase of entertainment. Now if you will excuse me I have things to do. Cindy could not ask a follow up question as Pence disappears through the door way. She sighs and then speaks again. Cindy: This is Cindy...signing off for now...I guess. We go back to ringside

Tony: This match is scheduled for one fall and is the fourth match of the first round in the Test for the Best tournament! Adema's 'The Way You Like It' plays over the PA as Slade Craven makes his way down to the ring with the fans cheering and reaching out to touch him. Tony: Making his way to the ring from Dallas, Texas. Standing at 6'1 and weight 235 lbs.....Slade Craven!Harvey: Slade Craven is a great wrestler and an entertainer. I have my fingers crossed hoping he goes on to the next round.Chase: I couldn't agree more, but the relative new comer Joey Orsome I hear is no push over. We could definitely see him advance tonight instead. He reaches the ring after slapping a few hands and goes to the top turnbuckle on the opposite side of the ring from where he entered and does a pose for photographs. The fans who are all hyped up know that soon there will be another famous wrestler coming out of the back and sure enough as soon as Slade's intro dies out the PA is filled with music. The hard hitting opening riffs of Big Wiggly Style thunder through the blackened arena. A figure moves out from behind the curtain as 3 white fireworks fly into the sky. Joey pumps up the crowd as he runs down the ramp, slapping a few fans hands on the way. Tony: Making his way to the ring from San Diego. Standing at 6'3 and weighing 230 lbs...Joey Orsome!Chase: And there is Joey Orsome, I really can't wait to see what this guy is capable of and see if he lives up to the hype.Harvey: All I can say Chase is that this is going to be one hell of a first round match. Then he begins to sprint and does a running dive under the bottom rope, stops, rolls on his back, flicks his legs up and jumps up to his feet. The crowd roar as he takes off his tshirt and throws it into the crowd. As Joey gets into the ring Slade gets out and watches him from outside, Joey motions for a belt to be put around his waste and the fans all cheer. Slade gets back into the ring, but just as the bell is about to ring the lights go out and the big screen bursts to static. Voice: Baby don't fear the reaper. "Come to Life" by Alterbridge hits and the fans give a standing ovation for their APW champion. He walks out and looks around at all the fans as the lights come back on and he makes his way to the announcers table. Harvey: I didn't think we would see the champ out here so early in the evening, but here he comes! Both Slade and Joey watch the belt with hunger in their eyes as Pence finally reaches the announcers table and takes a seat among them. He smiles at Harvey as he asks him for a headset. Which he hands him. Chase: So what are you doing out here?Pence: Well Jeff said that these two in the ring were hardcore competitors so I decided silently to myself to come out and see them first hand.Harvey: Well it is good to have you with us.Pence: Good to be here.TEST FOR THE BEST ROUND 1 Joey Orsome Vs Slade Craven
The bell rings as all eyes turn to the ring where Joey Orsome and Slade Craven are now locked up in a test of strength. Joey who is slightly stronger than Slade powers him into the ropes and then irish whips him to the other side of the ring and into the ropes. Joey Orsome looking to big boot his opponent and try to get an early win is surprised by the agility of Slade Craven who stops dodges the boot and then on the come back cross bodies the surprised Orsome.
Harvey: What a powerful Cross body!
Chase: I bet you that Joey Orsome is still shaking off some ring rust...I hope that he can shake it off before he loses this match though.
Pence: I hope so too.
Orsome is picked up by Slade who goes for a suplex, but is countered by Orsome who goes into a suplex of his own slamming down Slade and performing a bridge pin.
Harvey: Orsome may have it here!
1......
2.......
Slade powers out!
Chase: He nearly had it.
Orsome growls as Slade gets back to his feet and both men begin to circle one another, looking for the best possible opening to take their opponent by surprise. Slade gets such an opening as he slams his boot into Orsome's gut and then performs a round house kick to Orsome's face which hits, and makes a noise that is heard all around the arena.
Pence: Jesus christ!
Harvey: I think he is sending you a message Pence.
Slade goes for the pin, but Joey who knows the ring even if he hasn't been in one for some time grabs hold of the rope. Forcing Slade to pull him away from the ropes and bring him to the center of the ring, but Slade finds that harder than he would have hoped. Orsome holds on to the ropes as Slade keeps pulling and pulling, Orsome however counters the pulling by kicking Slade off and in the process causing Slade to fall into the ropes on the other side of the ring. Slade gets tangled up in them and is struggling to free himself as Orsome gets to his feet.
Chase: Looks like the tides of battle have turned in favor of Joey Orsome. I just hope he can capitalize on this predicament.
Joey sees the struggling Slade and smiles as he goes over to him and starts wailing on him with lefts and rights and kicks. Slade slumps a bit as Joey untangles the dazed Slade and rolls him up in a small package going for the pin.
Harvey: It has to be over...
1......
2......
Slade kicks out!
Pence: I guess Slade has a little more fight in him than we thought.
Chase: Sure looks like it to me.
Joey Orsome is frustrated, he has attempted two pins that should have one him the match, but still he is no where near getting what he wants out of the member of AKA. He picks him up going for the Impact Factor, but is countered by Slade who reverses it into a suplex of his own, but this time Slade bridges the pin.
1.....
2.....
Power out by Joey Orsome!
Chase: So many near falls and nothing to show for it...this is depressing.
Pence: I find it to be quite exhilerating, both men are showing what they have in the middle of the ring. Both of them want to be #1 contender so they are giving it their all even if they have nothing left to give.
Orsome and Slade get back up after the suplex and Orsome rushes at Slade who trips him and locks in a crippler crossface. Orsome yells and screams, too far away from the ropes to force a release, but that doesn't stop Orsome, who powers his way to the ropes, and forces Slade to release.
Harvey: I don't think that is in Slade's normal move set.
Chase: You're right, but he is trying his best to end this match. So far it has not payed off though.
Slade gets up and begins wailing on the now in pain Orsome, Slade pulls Orsome away from the ropes and then uses another submission move, a sleeper hold.
Pence: He is trying to wear Orsome down, you can't just get in the ring and try to out power or out maneuver Orsome. I have watched the footage of some of his fights, you have to wear him down and then go in for the kill.
Harvey: Well it looks like Slade is trying to do just that.
Slade puts as much pressure as he possibly can on Orsome, but Orsome does not give in, even weak and weary as he is now, he manages to power himself over to the ropes and force the release again.
Chase: I think the damage has already been done.
As Orsome gets up one more time he is met with a powerful cross body which sends him to the mat, Slade quickly gets up and goes to the top rope, signaling the end. Orsome looks best and out of energy as Slade Craven flies off the top turn buckle performing a flog splash on the prone Joey. Joey rolls on the mat in pain as Slade gets up and begins stomping his leg on the mat. Orsome gets up, slowly, and in pain turning around he sees Slade deliver the Cliq Kick, he falls down to the mat, most likely out could as Slade goes for the cover.

Assassin holds his back and Chris is slowly crawling cause he landing on the chairs as well. Chris crawls to Assassin, rolls him on his back and covers him 1 . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . Kick Out!
Chris gets to his feet and yells out, “THAT’S IT!” He waits for Assassin to get to his feet and as he does, Chris grabs him for the Straight to Hell, but Assassin pushes Chris away, Kicks him, hooks his arms and goes for the Chaos Theory, but The Hardcore Kid fights out of it back to his feet and back drops Assassin. Assassin pulls himself up in the corner and Chris runs for a spear, but Assassin moves and Chris hit’s the corner with his shoulder. Assassin grabs Chris and DDT’s him. Assassin grabs two chairs and sets them up with the seats touching each other face to face. Assassin stands on the chair as Chris is getting up. However, I just wanted to let the two of you know that the honeymoon is over! As great of a wedding present the Test for the Best crown would be for you, Jessie, that's not something that I'm just going to freely hand over to you. And don't think for a minute that I'll have mercy on you for the sake of your wife, because while I do hope that you two have a successful marriage, it wouldn't particularly both me if you spent the rest of it in a wheelchair! With Jesse trying to gain back vision in his eye, Biggs grabs Nunez by his head and smashes it into the top turn buckle and then drags Nunez eyes over the top rope.

Harvey: What is he doing out here?
Chase: Biggs helped him retain his title earlier tonight, I think Cyrus may be here to help Biggs win this tournament.
As Chris makes his way to ringside, he and Jesse exchange some words, just long enough to allow Biggs to take Jesse’s knee out. The crowd boo’s as Biggs is stomping on Jesse’s hurt knee. Jesse is in the ropes, so the ref pulls Biggs of. As Biggs has the Ref’s attention, Chris grabs Nunez’s leg and pulls it to the ring post and Chris swings Nunez’ leg around the ring post. Nunez screams in pain as Biggs pulls Jesse to the middle of the ring and lifts Jesse Up, grabs his hurt leg and gives him a dragon screw and then locks in the Sharpshooter!
Chase: It may be over for Jesse here?
Harvey: A lot of matches has been won with this move over the years.
Biggs has the hold locked into the middle of the ring and Jesse is screaming and Biggs wrenches back. Wilson quickly pushes the bar on the exit door taking a gander for himself/ To his surprise he sees a Harley Davidson motorcycle idling outside with no one on board. He creeps out slowly, looking left and right for any sign of the Excellence of Xtreme. The well skilled martial artist walks over to the bike noticing a note on the handle bar. We come back from a APW Commercial of new Merchendise now available. We then go back to the ring for our 2nd semi final match. Tony: This match is scheduled for one fall and it is a Test for the Best second round match! "King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. Tony: Making his way to the ring first from Atlanta, Georgia. Standing at 6'4 and weighing 265 lbs....John Green!Harvey: Here comes the Retribution killer!John walks down the ramp with a smile on his face as he slaps some of the hands of fans as he walks past them. John hops off and takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd. His music fades out as he awaits for the bell to ring. Chase: I can tell you this...this match is going to be an all out brawl and I'm looking forward to seeing who will make it to the finals and fight for the big prize.Adema's 'The Way You Like It' plays over the PA as Slade Craven makes his way down to the ring limping a bit and looking a tad exhausted. The fans reach out to touch him and he slaps a few hands as he makes his way to the ring. Tony: Making his way to the ring from Dallas Texas. Standing at 6'1 and weighing in at 235 lbs....Slade Craven! The fans are cheering on Slade as he gets into the ring and looks at John Green who is already eying him look for weaknesses that he can take advantage of. Harvey: This is almost unfair...Slade has gone through hell already fighting Joey Orsome, but now he has to fight John Green too...what kind of screwed up joke is this?Chase: This is what happens when somebody goes through a slow match and somebody goes through a fast match. John Green was able to capitalize and Slade has to wear down his opponent... this match is one sided yes, but we may see Slade still win it.Harvey: I hope Slade does after all the hell he went through last round.TEST FOR THE BEST SEMI FINALS John Green Vs Slade Craven
The bell sounds as John Green goes on the offensive immediately, targeting almost the same points that Orsome used last match to try to pick up the win quick. Slade is yelping in pain as John lays into him with lefts and rights, John irish whips the slightly smaller opponent into the turnbuckle on the other side of the ring and runs at him, performing a spear on his midsection which causes Slade to double over.
Harvey: Jesus...that almost tore Slade in two. I don't think Slade has anymore fight in him after that performance with Joey in the last round, but John has enough power left to go on to the finals.
John pulls Slade out of the corner and then slams Slade's face right into the turnbuckle, he does this a few times until Slade catches himself and turns around delivering a chop straight across John's chest which causes John to stumble back a bit. Slade continues to chop John across the chest, hoping to wear down Mr. Monday Night. Slade however makes a mistake by sending John into the ropes and as he is trying to hit him with a cross body on his return, John catches him and hits him with a back breaker.
Harvey: Jesus!
Chase: And that is why John Green will be number one contender for the APW championship.
He lets go of Slade and Slade falls to the floor clutching his back, John goes for the early pin.
1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . .
Slade kicks out!
Harvey: Looks like it wasn't enough to put Slade away.
John picks Slade up and as he does Slade knees him in the gut and kicks John's legs out from under him, sending him to the mat. Slade jumps onto the nearby ropes and springs off it and delivers a leg drop right on John's throat.
Chase: That was an awesome maneuver!
Harvey: That it was Chase.
Slade repeats that one more time and then goes for the pin.
1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . .
John Green shoves Slade off of him.
Harvey: Guess Slade's assault didn't do enough.
Chase: Actually I beg to differ. Most likely he hit his wind pipe so we will be seeing some slower reaction times and less power moves by John Green.
It was true as Slade began to kick at John Green who was still on the mat, stomping, kicking, and whatever else Slade could do with his feet to hurt John while he was prone. Slade goes for a sleeper hold on John, but John is too close to the ropes and even while wailing in pain reaches out and grabs it forcing the release. Slade drags John to the middle of the ring and repeats the sleeper hold on his opponent. John who is already hurting around his neck area is now forced to endure the sleeper hold, he tries to power his way to the rope, but Slade continues to pull him farther away from it. Trying to win via submission. John however manages to gather the power to reach for the ropes and succeeds. The fans are all on their feet watching this excellent example of wrestling at its finest. Slade is forced to release the hold and is talked to by the ref for not releasing the hold immediately, which gives John a little time to breathe. So as Slade come back he receives a punch to the gut and then a back hand to the face which sends him stumbling away. John gets to his feet and Slade comes at him kicking him in the gut, John hits him in the gut too, and they begin to trade blow for blow, kicks versus punches.
Chase: This has become quite the brawl don't you think?
Harvey: Yeah, I just hope the ref can get some order back into this match before they both kill each other.
The referee separates the two wrestlers for about all of ten seconds before they continue to wail on each other, but this time John, the bigger man gets the advantage and hits Slade in the gut and knocks him down to the mat, he then goes for a six shooter.
Chase: That is one way to take the kicking potential of Slade out of the match.
John holds the six shooter for as long as he can until finally Slade reaches the bottom rope, forcing John to release on a count of four. Slade is holding his legs as John comes in and begins stomping on those legs to further injure Slade Craven and hopefully turn the match more in his favor. John however stops stomping on him after a count of three and picks Slade up, driving him into the mat with a power bomb and then going for the cover.
1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . .
Slade kicks out.
Slade visually in pain from all of the attacks slowly gets to his feet as John growls in frustration and gets to his feet as well. John goes at Slade who is using the ropes to hold himself up and is surprised by Slade who pulls the rope down sending John tumbling to the mat outside the ring.
Chase: Slade is slowing this match down, but it seems to not be in his favor...look at what he is planning to do next!
John is now on his feet and is upset as Slade comes flying out of the ring with a cross body which once again is caught by John Green who throws him into the metal ring post back first. Slade falls on top of the stairs, yelling pain as John goes to inside the ring and the referee begins to count.

John is now on the top turnbuckle and is looking down on the prone Slade who has not moved much since the attack that he had received. John smiles and then jumps off the top turnbuckle trying to send his knee to the kneck of Slade, only to be surprised by a quick dodge by Slade. Going knee first on the metal steps John falls over holding his leg and screaming at the top of his lungs. Slade gets up slowly and looks at John Green, while he gets back into the ring. The referee restarts the count.

John barely manages to get into the ring at the count of eight and is almost instantly attacked by Slade who aims his stomps on the knee of John Green. Slade signals for the end as he goes to the top turnbuckle, slowly do to the injuries he has sustained so far. He is however caught by surprise by John Green who flings him off the top turnbuckle and to the mat below. John goes for The Head Splitter and hits it, going for the pin.

Rob Zombie's “Never Gonna Stop Me” blares over the speakers as Shadow enters the arena to thunderous cheers from the crowd with the Overdrive Championship belt slung over his shoulder. Ferrari: And his opponent, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 295 pounds, he is the APW Overdrive Champion, Shadow!Harvey: And here comes the Overdrive Champion! He has been undefeated in singles matchups so far in his APW career!Chase: I predict tonight's the night that his undefeated streak in singles matches is broken!Shadow slaps fives with the fans as he heads down the ramp, keeping an eye on Mr. Strange as he approaches the ring. Once there, Shadow steps up onto the apron, and through the ropes, holding his belt high with one arm before handing it to the ref. The ref hoists the belt up high in the middle of the ring for all to see before handing it to the timekeeper and calling for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Harvey: Let's see how these two match up tonight! Shadow won the last contest between these two, but the past doesn't matter in the context of a match, only the here and now!APW OVERDRIVE TITLE MATCH Shadow vs. Mr. Strange
Mr. Strange and Shadow stand toe-to-toe in the center of the ring. Shadow smirks as Mr. Strange tilts his head ever so slightly to the side. After a few tense moments, Strange stomps on Shadow's foot, and uses the distraction to nail Shadow in the back of the head with a Gamengiri! Shadow stumbles a bit and falls throat first across middle rope! Mr. Strange takes advantage of this by stepping onto the bottom rope with one foot while sticking his knee into the back of Shadow's neck, and pulling up on the top rope, chocking the Overdrive Champion! Mr. Strange ignores the boos from the crowd while he chokes Shadow and the ref counts to five! He lets up on four, and backs up running towards Shadow to give him a Flying Knee to the Back! Shadow is slung backwards to the mat as the ref admonishes Mr. Strange!
Harvey: What dirty, underhanded, despicable tactics we've seen from Mr. Strange thus far!
Chase: Hey, when you're fighting for a championship and your opponent outweighs you by 120 pounds, you gotta do whatever you can to get the strap!
Harvey: But you can't get DQ'ed, which Mr. Strange is already in danger of doing!
Mr. Strange pulls Shadow up to his feet, and goes for an Irish Whip, but Shadow reverses, instead pulling Mr. Strange up in a Military Press position! Shadow presses Mr. Strange five times to the delight of the crowd before slamming Mr. Strange to the mat! Shadow gives the challenger a few stomps before pulling him back up and whipping Strange to the ropes! He drills Mr. Strange with a Tilt-a-Whirl Slam! Shadow goes for a quick cover, but doesn't even get a one count! Shadow wraps one arm around the head of Mr. Strange and gives him rapid fire punches to the face before pulling him up to a vertical base while maintaining the Side Headlock! Shadow wrenches his opponents head, but Mr. Strange delivers a couple of well placed elbows to the midsection to force Shadow to release the hold! As he slips out, Mr. Strange takes Shadow down with a Roaring Elbow to the face, and runs through to the ropes, hitting him with a Busaiku Knee Kick! As Shadow is on the mat, Mr. Strange steps onto the apron, grabbing a hold of the top rope. As Shadow gets to his feet, Strange slingshots himself up, flipping into a Headscissors Takedown! As Shadow is on the mat, Mr. Strange turns him onto his side, and gives him several stiff Knees to the back before turning him back over onto his back, pinning him, 1...Shadow presses his way out, launching Mr. Strange up and crashing him chest first into mat!
Chase: Mr. Strange has been in control for most of this match, but he hasn't done nearly enough to keep Shadow down!
Harvey: I think it'll take just about all Mr. Strange has to offer to keep Shadow down for a three count, but then again, the same can be said for Shadow getting the win over Mr. Strange!
Shadow is to his feet as Strange holds his chest in pain! Shadow grabs Strange by the head and pulls him right up, using his strength advantage to back Mr. Strange in the corner! As Strange's back is to the turnbuckle, Shadow gives him an Open-handed Slap to the Chest, which echoes throughout the arena! The fans cheer loudly as Shadow gives Strange another Open-handed Slap to the Chest!
Harvey: Normally, this move is more effective when the opponent's chest is bare, but in the case of Mr. Strange, I don't think anyone wants to see his bare chest! Nobody knows what he looks like under that mask and black full body suit!
Chase: For all you know, he could have the body of a male model!
Harvey: But if he's as old as he claims he is, I'd imagine that Mr. Strange's skin is rather wrinkly!
The fans are chanting for Shadow as he hits with one more Open-handed Slap before whipping Mr. Strange to the opposite corner with such force that Mr. Strange collapses backwards after crashing chest first into the turnbuckle! As Strange is up to all fours, Shadow comes over and yanks him up, grabbing him up for Fall Away Slam! Shadow goes over to his opponent and pins him, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Mr. Strange kicks out! Shadow stays on the attack, wrapping his legs around the head of Mr. Strange in a Headscissors Headlock! Strange wraps his legs around the midsection of the champ while still holding the Sleeper, trying to pull him down to the mat! However, Shadow will not go down, and instead runs towards the corner, turning his back to it at the last moment, crushing Mr. Strange into the turnbuckle! Strange keeps the hold on like a pitbull, as Shadow repeatedly rams him into the corner again and again, finally forcing Mr. Strange to release the hold! As Mr. Strange is propped up in the corner, Shadow backs up and hits him with a Running Clothesline! Mr. Strange falls down to a seated position, and Shadow gives him a couple of knees to the face before pulling him back up and sitting him up on the top turnbuckle! Shadow pulls Mr. Strange off to give him a Stalling Suplex, and floats over into a cover, 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . .
Mr. Strange kicks out again!
Chase: Mr. Strange is not staying down!
Harvey: This has been a competitive match thus far, and I think it will be decided by whoever can capitalize on their opponent's mistake!
Shadow stays on the attack, pulling Strange up by the head, and whipping him towards the ropes. On the rebound, he lifts Strange up in a Sidewalk Slam, but Strange kicks his leg up, nailing Shadow in the face, forcing him to drop Mr. Strange and stumble backwards! Mr. Strange goes for a Superkick, but Shadow has the wherewithal to duck under it, step in and grabs his opponent for a Release Belly to Belly Suplex! Strange pops back up to get another Release Belly to Belly, and this time, Shadow follows up with a Standing Elbow Drop to the chest! Shadow goes for another cover, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Mr. Strange gets his shoulder up! Shadow pulls Mr. Strange up, whipping him towards the ropes again! This time, Strange ducks beneath the attempted Big Boot, springs off the opposite ropes, and soars towards Shadow! Shadow ducks the attempted Flying Cross Body, and Mr. Strange takes out the ref instead! The crowd is booing as Strange quickly gets up and gives Shadow a Soccer Kick right between the legs, flooring the champion! Mr. Strange rolls out of the ring, grabs a steel chair, and slides back in. Strange looks to make sure that the ref is still out of it, and proceeds to wail on Shadow with the chair, smacking him a good ten or twelve times before placing the chair beneath Shadow's face. The crowd is enraged as Mr. Strange steps up onto the top turnbuckle, and leaps off, hitting Shadow in the back of the head with a vicious Leg Drop! Mr. Strange quickly disposes of the chair when he sees the ref starting to stir, and rolls Shadow over onto this back, pinning him. The ref is slow coming to, and when he regains consciousness, he sees that Strange has the cover, 1 . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Shadow kicks out to thunderous cheers from the crowd!
Harvey: Mr. Strange tried to steal the match and the Overdrive Championship there, but luckily, taking out the ref cost him just as much as it helped him!
Chase: You say it like Strange intended to knock the ref out! It was purely accidental, and when he saw the advantage, he took it!
Harvey: Mr. Strange may not have took the ref out on purpose, but he certainly used the low blow and the chair on purpose!
Mr. Strange gets to a vertical base, tilting his head slightly as he sways back and forth, waiting for his opponent to get up. As Shadow slowly begins to get to his feet, Mr. Strange steps out onto the apron, pulls himself up to the top rope and springboards off, doing a front flip before getting nailed by a Flying Shoulder Tackle from out of nowhere by the champ! The crowd goes wild as Shadow pulls Mr. Strange up by the head, and hoists him up in a reverse crucifix position, flipping Mr. Strange over for the Eclipse! Shadow goes for the cover, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Winner and Still APW Overdrive Champion: Shadow The crowd goes wild as the ref raises Shadow's hand in victory. The ref hands Shadow his belt, which Shadow hoists triumphantly into the air! Harvey: What a match! Shadow was able to overcome Mr. Strange's cheating ways to hold onto the Overdrive Championship, and did so in an impressive manner!Chase: There were several occasions where I thought Mr. Strange would be able to become the new champ, but big props to Shadow for withstanding Mr. Strange's onslaught to retain the belt! The ref helps Mr. Strange out of the ring as Shadow continues to celebrate his victory!

We find ourselves backstage standing in-front of a man's whose accomplishments outshines anyone else in this venue; don't be jealous. Beyond his beautiful smile and his pearly whites illuminating the depths of your heart, the set has been decorated for the special occasion, but wait. What are we doing looking past the man our eyes should dare never to leave? His professionalism was always envied, his delivery was always infectious, and his presence had been demanded by the thousands...and thousands...viewers at home. The man lifts the microphone to his lips; and flashes a smile. ''Now introducing, thee GREATEST interviewer in the WORLD!!!'' He exclaims; taking a short pause. ''I-AM AWESOME!!! I said...I AM AWESOME!!!'' Iam delivers to the microphone, his tongue influxuating back and forth which would drive your insides weary, but don't tell him that. Iam flashes the camera with a wide grin, lifting his thumb up into the air. ''Hi, Iam-awesome! And I have returned to PAY-PER-VIEW once again; to deliver to you quite possibly the best INTERVIEW, you will ever live to see! Why? Because it's me. I am me. I am awesome!'' Iam delivers his grin never leaving his face. ''You know, it was only suitable that I would return to pay-per-view dubbed ''Test for the best'' because let's face it. Sweet cheeks, Cindy has nothing on me!'' Iam says, slipping in a sly wink. ''So today, I'm with my guest...'' Iam says before stopping dead in tracks flashing a look of intrigue at the camera. ''Yes, he's here. Because he's ME! Yes, heard it right folks! Being interviewed by IAM-AWESOME is IAM-AWESOME himself! Simply because, I'm awesome!'' Iam spins around to emphasize his greatness when he bumps chest with Joey Orsome. Sending the crowd watching at home into a frenzy. ''Orsome?'' Iam asks. Joey Orsome shakes his head back and forth in frustration as he pushes his way past Iam. Iam watches Joey leave before shrugging his shoulders and continuing on. ''So, let's get on with the interview. First things first, Iam. How awesome are you?'' Iam asks...himself? I am takes one step to the left, before pondering the thought. ''Is this a scale of 1 to 10, or 1 to 1, 000000?'' Iam asks...himself? Iam hops back over to the left. ''You are so awesome Iam, that you don't USE scales! Your awesomeness cannot be measured!'' Iam exclaims, hopping back over to the right. This time however before he can lift the microphone back to his mouth to shell his persona any longer, the butt of a crutch is pointed to his neck. Iam slowly tilts his head to the side; his worst nightmare had come true. ''You are pathetic'' Level-One says flatly inserting his commentary. ''Do you understand what exactly is on the line tonight, Iam?'' Level-One asks before lowering the butt of the crutch away from his throat. ''The world heavyweight championship'' Iam cautiously responds. ''I'm sure you will do just fine out there; but I'm sure people are just as excited to see me back then watch your match'' Iam shoots off recklessly. Keeping his cool; Level-One merely scoffs off the comment and grabs hold of the microphone. ''I'd tell you to save your questions to yourself; but appears as if you've done so already'' Level-One states with a disgusting look written on his face before shuttling Iam awesome out of the way. ''I want Pence Weatherlight to heed my words. I will WIN back my world heavyweight championship tonight.
They say I should be cautious. I'm injured, I'm weak--I'm not at 100% tonight and that things aren't looking good in my favor. Do you know how I respond to that? I laugh. Right in their faces; I laugh. How soon have they forgot how I built the foundations of my career. I've built my career on the canvas of that ring. Every square inch; every corner of that four sided ring, inside and out I leave everything on the line when push comes to shove. This isn't Mayhem, and I'm standing on the edge of a cliff; there is NO way, I'm going to allow Pence send me tumbling to the rocks below.
I don't know what game plan he's going in there with tonight; but I don't care. It's not about how I plan to win, how can I possibly win, nor how I will win. The only thing matters is that I win. I walk out with everything I brought to the ring, and a bit more. And if Pence is lucky?
He'll walk away...
Period.''Level-One looks behind his shoulder to see Iam awesome trying to slip into the view and score extra camera time. Level-One shakes his head back and forth, before using the clutches to carry him off screen. Iam awesome flashes the camera a wide grin just to remind you how much your going to miss his pearly whites... ...but Pence would miss his championship even more. Chase: Jesse needed that.
Harvey: Jesse needs to fight the pain in his knee right now if he wants to win this.

Raining Blood by Slayer his the PA President Jeff enters the ramp way of the arena as the fans give a mixed reaction. You see no mater how much Jeff acts like an ass, people really hate Trevor Blackwell. Chase: Well I'd say Jeff is alright. Harvey: Well he's at least here.Jeff kindly takes the Mic from the time keeper, and takes center ring. The fans simmer down so the president of APW can speak. Jeff: Alright folks, this is the Test for the Best. As you know we have had a string of recent infiltrations. A former member of this roster has made it clear that he has it out for the APW. The fans boo the thought of APW going by the wayside. Jeff: This person seems to think his recent failures are my fault and wishes to take them out on me. We received info that he had a plan of ruining our tournament here tonight. Stopping someone from becoming a number one contender. You know just because he never had what it took to become the APW world champion, doesn't mean he is going to keep other from that opportunity. Much like his pathetic attempt to become champion by sidelining a champion in Sabur and claiming the belt for his own. we broke his little attempt. His thoughts on hy-jacking the final match and claim the number one spot for himself, not happening. That is because as we speak Streets Wilson is in quote "hot pursuit" of Mr. Blackwell through the rough streets of Mexico. So with that nuisance sidelined, we move onto the main event of the evening. The final match to detirmine...Jeff's face looks shocked as the fans in the arena rise to their feet in amazement with Trevor's titantron playing on the screen. Chase: NO...this isn't happening.Harvey: It surely looks like it is, who would have thought this man would step foot back in the APW.Chase: With the failure of his company, it makes perfect sense. The light dims and strobes flickering the fans erupt into a chorus of hatred as the image of Trevor Blackwell steps onto the entrance ramp. With his head down and hair draped over his face he outstretches his arms in the patented crucifix pose with a Singapore cane clutched in his right hand. Harvey: I can't believe my eyes, the Excellence of Xtreme has returned to APW. Chase: Yeah..here comes the drama. Jeff seems to be loosing control in the ring. The sight of Trevor has his blood boiling. Just then the fans break out into a "FUCK EM UP JEFF" chant repeatedly. The lights then rise as Trevor holds the cane in the air, and quickly turns his back to the ring pointing to his shoulder. The camera zooms in and the words read.... "THE HOTTEST SHIT GOING" As the snow then starts to fall from the ceiling the man then slides the leather jacket off. His hand quickly pulls off the curly wig, as he spins around reveling himself to all watching at home and in the arena. Harvey: MICHAEL LIVELY!!!!!Chase: HE REALLY DOES HAVE A DEATH WISH!!!Harvey: After what he did to the title, the company that made him...the disrespect he showed everyone in APW...this Jerkoff has the guts to show up here. Chase: Jumping to the IWC, it fails, and now he's back!!!Lively finishes his I am JESUS pose, then gives his chest a few slaps as he then begins his strut toward the ring. The fans ringside begin throwing hot dog wrappers, and half empty cup toward the JESUS. He shrugs off the hate as he is so used to doing, and makes his way around the ring toward the time keepers table. Jeff keeps his eyes fixated on Lively, ready for anything. The self proclaimed JESUS grabs a Mic, then rolls under the ropes to enter the ring. With a quick spring to his feet Lively strikes another pose that offers nothing but an out cry of hatred. Jeff steps forward stopping the pose suddenly. Lively throws an evil smirk and takes a step back with his hand out front as if telling Jeff to stay back a bit. The self proclaimed JESUS of wrestling then holds the Mic up as the fans begin the "FUCK YOU JESUS" chant. He looks out to the filled arena. Lively: Wow...I think I missed all your hate. (Looks over at Jeff) So, Jeff your fancy head of security is somewhere in Mexico chasing my mother on a Harley. He is going to be pissed when he catches up with her, and surely will please me by giving her a nasty Karate chop. So while he fell for the bait, it left a nice opening for the JESUS TO MAKE HIS RETURN TO ACTION PACKED WRESTLING!!!!Boo's from the crowd Jeff: Well I'm sorry to inform you Mikey...but you are not under contract with APW, and if I have anything to do with it you will never have a contract with us again. Another fancy smirk from Lively as the fans cheer for Jeff's comments. Lively: It's cool...I didn't have a contract when my video packages showed up on your airways. I wasn't under contract when I snuck in your office. This fancy ass intro I just made was pretty nice for a guy not under contract. Not to mention your security doesn't threaten me much either.
Jeff this little game has unfolded so nicely. I played all of you people like I always have done since the beginning. These miserable fans have been all over the INTERNET clamoring about Doctor Phate at first. Death Wish is Phate...please, he's a douche wad. Then I took it a step further with the Kenny Lambardo crap. Making people think the Church of Kaos was to return, and possibly have the once powerful Phate as a member, that old gag. Then with that it was only natural to think the return of the infamous Trevor Blackwell would soon follow. Lively pauses with a smirk on his face. Lively: Listen, last I heard Phate is headlining a Ru-Paul tribute show in Vegas somewhere. Kenny Lambardo...that dick-wad is probably somewhere in the Desert of Afghanistan seconds away from getting a rocket shoved up his ass while he gets mouth pumped by a camel. The crowd bursts into laughter at the comments of the JESUS. Lively: As for Trevor Blackwell I heard he's writing a column for High Times magazine. He's gained about fifty pounds , and might just be managing a Wendy's restaurant very soon. So if you need a frosty...look deep into those legendary ICE blue eyes and say Biggie Size please!!!The fans again erupt into laughter. Harvey: It seems Michael Lively hates those people just as much as the rest of the fans. Lively: The best part is you freakin retards thought these washed up hacks were coming back, your stupidity never seizes to amaze. Boo's and hate from the crowd. Lively: You see everyone one of these people had heel qualities, heel tendencies, but none of them garnered the hate like I do. Lively then spits in the face of a fan in the front row as the fans break out into a "FUCK YOU JESUS" chant once more. Lively: You see, I'm the best that this industry has to offer, I'm the best at garnering attention, drawing out ratings, and invoking emotion.. Jeff: Michael...enough of you monologuing...Lively: NO. Jeff enough of YOUR pathetic interruptions. Listen my problem was listening to others, instead of following the wisdom of the one and only JESUS. You see I bought into the hype of the IWC. I was lured in by the one thing I was missing here, the Xtreme title. The thrill of conquering the Xtreme scene. IWC used to represent the epitome of Xtreme. You see I won their Insane championship in one hell of a match. I held pride for that accomplishment. The truth is after looking in the mirror reality set in. This IWC isn't what the world knew previously, instead a poor attempt to recreate something dead and gone. With that title came nothing to fill my void. You can buy a Toyota, change the interior, add some fancy wheels, and spend a lot of money to repaint it to look like a Lexus. When you park it in your garage at the end of the evening...it's still a Toyota. I still was not the APW Xtreme champion, or anything close to it. That’s the one thing missing, the one achievement that will cement me in the history books as the first, possibly only APW Grand slam champion. Jeff shakes his head in disgust Jeff: Well like I said Michael, to become a champion in APW you must first have a contract. You my friend aren't under contract, and as far as I am concerned never will be. Lively: You know Jeff, we can be out here all night. If you noticed I have nothing to do. Your company crushed the IWC, and I have no where to wrestle. The fans almost take the roof off of the arena for the APW mashing the IWC's dinner. Just then the fans roar in approval for Streets Wilson as he barrels down the ramp toward the ring. Jeff: Wow, Mike you made the classic heel mistake. You monologued for too long. Now Streets is back, and looks like he's coming for you. Lively backs up, as Streets slides under the rope. Wilson quickly hops to his feet in a ready stance looking at Lively. The White Lion looks at the threat in front of him and decides not to back down. Lively turns sideways as if preparing to deliver one of his super kicks. Harvey: Wow, he's pretty much sending Streets Wilson an E-Mail describing that a super kick is coming. Chase: I guess being away from the ring can really throw you off. Streets steps toward Lively changing his stance in preparations for the kick. Lively then looks out to the fans who shower him with boo's and middle fingers. They then break out into a "FUCK EM UP STREETS" chant. Just as they do, The Lord of the Streets steps aside motioning his arms as if Lively can pass by. The JESUS then whips a lighting fast super kick into the face of President Jeff who was too shocked by Streets actions to realize it was coming. As Jeff hits the mat the chant quickly comes to a halt and to arena rumbles from the fans resentment for what just went down. Streets Wilson looks down at Jeff and shrugs his shoulders. Lively then strikes the I am JESUS pose as the fans begin to throw trash into the ring. Lively then bends down, and begins jaw jacking at Jeff as cups and wrappers keep coming keep flooding the ring. Lively then rolls out to the floor, throwing his arms into the air. Streets exits the ring as well and the two make their way to the back. Medics run to the ring to check on Jeff. Harvey: Wow, I'm in shock, almost speechless. Chase: Not quite speechless though hunh. Lets take a look at the main event as the medics tend to Jeff, and the crew cleans the ring up for our main event. A video package for Pence Vs Level One is shown

Harvey: Well, folks, it's now time for the main event of the evening! I don't know about you, but I've been looking forward to this one for quite some time!Chase: Pence Weatherlight defending the APW Heavyweight Championship against Level-One is the type of match you want headlining your show!Harvey: We just crowned the winner of the Test for the Best Tournament, now we'll find out the second part of the Shockwave main event!Tony Ferrari: The following contest is the Test for the Best main event! It is scheduled for one fall, and is for the APW Heavyweight Championship of the World!Lupe Fiasco's “Put You On Game” begins to play as red smoke shoots out from the stage and Level-One enters the arena on crutches, drawing loud boos from the fans. Level-One has his usual scowl across his face, and has his left leg wrapped up, as well as a soft neck brace. The fans taunt him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, prompting Level-One to taunt right back as he slowly heads down to the ring. Ferrari: Making his way to the ring, the challenger, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 273 pounds, Level-One!Harvey: Wait a second! I thought Level-One was supposed to be cleared to wrestle for tonights match!Chase: What a warrior! Even though he's still injured, he's making his way to the ring for this contest! That's how much the APW Heavyweight Championship means to Level-One!Harvey: How much can it really mean to him if he supposedly stayed down for Pence at Mayhem?Level-One takes his time getting to the ring, and once he reaches the ring, Level-One props his crutches up against the steps and walks up the steps one step at a time. He enters the ring gingerly, and props himself up in the corner waiting for his opponent, removing the soft neck brace while doing so. The lights start to flicker red, white, and blue as the fans erupt into loud cheers as the arena lights suddenly black out and static appears on the big screen. There are explosions all over the screen as the lights start flashing red, white, and blue again as “Come to Life,” by Alterbridge begins to play! Pence emerges from the back with the APW Heavyweight Championship belt clasped around his waist to deafening cheers from the crowd! He has his ribs taped up. Ferrari: And his opponent, from Hershey, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 250 pounds, he is the APW Heavyweight Champion of the World, Pence Weatherlight!Harvey: And here is the man the fans love to love! This is Pence's first title defense since winning the belt in a Fatal Four Way at Mayhem last month!Chase: And it will be his last! Injured or not, I think Level-One will take the Title back!Harvey: I disagree! Although Pence has sore ribs himself, I think that Pence wants to prove that Level-One was lying when he said he just stayed down at Mayhem! The fans chant “Weatherlight! Weatherlight!” as he walks down the ramp with a spotlight shinned directly on him! He reaches the ring, takes off his black and gold vest, throwing it towards the crowd for a lucky fan to claim, and stands on the turnbuckle opposite of Level-One, unclasping his belt and lifting it high in the air as Pence gives his fans a big smile! He pops down off of the turnbuckle, and hands the ref his belt as the music fades. The ref holds the belt high in the air before handing it to the timekeeper and calling for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Harvey: And the match is underway!APW WORLD TITLE MATCH Pence Weatherlight vs. Level-One
The crowd roars as Pence and Level-One stare down in the middle of the ring! After a few moments, the two competitors lock up in a Collar & Elbow Tie-up! Pence gets the advantage and whips Level-One, but after two steps, Level-One stumbles and falls to one knee! Level-One curses as he rubs his leg, and Pence gives him a Kick to the back! Pence pulls Level-One back up to his feet, and gives him a Russian Leg Sweep, much to the approval of the fans! Pence then mounts Level-One, giving him a flurry of lefts and rights to the face! Level-One has his arms up to protect his face, and as Pence is swinging, Level-One gets in a well-timed punch to the ribs, which only serves to get Pence more fired up, as he continues to unload on Level-One's face! The fans are in a frenzy as Pence stands up and smiles to them, before turning his attention back to the challenger, Level-One! Pence pulls Level-One up by the head, but as he's coming up, Level-One again punches Pence in the ribs, this time hard enough to send Pence stumbling back! Level-One gets to his feet, and hooks Pence in a Suplex position, and attempts to lift him up, but is too injured to, allowing Pence to counter with a Vertical Suplex of his own!
Harvey: And Pence has been in full control this whole match! Maybe Level-One really is injured, because I can't remember the last time we've seen him so physically over matched!
Chase: What a profile in courage Level-One is displaying tonight! He gutted it out for a win on Overdrive, and I think he'll gut it out for a win here tonight!
Harvey: I disagree! Pence is too good of a competitor to be overcome if you're not one hundred percent!
Chase: Yeah, well Pence is hurting too!
Pence doesn't bother going for a cover on Level-One, knowing it's still too early to get the W, so instead, he gives Level-One a few stomps to the gut before pulling him up and dragging him towards the corner! Pence backs Level-One into the corner and steps up onto the middle ropes, and begins to punch Level-One's face again and again! The crowd counts along, “Uno! Dos! Tres! Cuatro! Cinco! Seis! Siete! Ocho! Nueves! Diez!” After the tenth blow, Pence hops down and grabs Level-One as he stumbles out of the corner for a Scoop Slam! Pence then hits with a Standing Leg Drop, and covers Level-One, 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . Level-One kicks out!
Harvey: I don't think Pence was trying to win it there, he just wanted Level-One to exert energy to kick out! It's a smart strategy!
Pence grabs a hold of Level-One's leg, and does a jumping forward flip to torque the wrapped leg of Level-One! The fans are cheering “Pence! Pence!” as the charismatic champion pulls Level-One back up to his feet! Pence gives Level-One a couple of elbows to the face before whipping him towards the ropes, but again, Level-One only makes it a few steps before falling to one knee! Pence goes to pull Level-One up again, but this time, Level-One rakes his eyes! Level-One tries to lock Pence in a DDT position, but Pence pushes his way out, and hooks Level-One up in the Urinagi position, going for Heavy Artillery! Before Pence can lift him up, Level-One gives him a couple of hard elbows to the head, and as Pence releases the hold, Level-One lifts him up for the Darkness Shine!
Chase: Darkness Shine from Level-One! What a rush of adrenaline!
The crowd is in a stunned silence as Pence is laid out on the mat, and Level-One runs to the turnbuckle, hopping up and taunting the crowd while tearing off the bandage from his knee! Once the crowd realizes what just happened, they boo Level-One mercilessly!
Harvey: He was faking it the whole time! Level-One faked his injuries the time!
Chase: No! Level-One has been miraculously healed! This is great news!
The fans are booing loudly as Level-One nonchalantly covers Pence, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . Pence gets a shoulder up! Level-One still has a grin from ear to ear as he maintains the attack on Pence, hitting him with elbow strikes to the face before pulling the champion up whipping him into the ropes! Level-One nails Pence with a Big Boot on the rebound, and gives him a Standing Elbow Drop before going for another cover, 1 . . . . . . . .
Pence gets out! Level-One is unphased, and pulls Pence up to his feet, hoisting the champion up for a Stalling Suplex, targeting the midsection of the champion! Level-One gives Pence a couple more stomps to the gut before pulling him back up and whipping him into the ropes! Level-One backs up towards the opposite ropes a bit, and on the rebound, he lifts Pence up for a One Man Flapjack the sends Pence's midsection crashing into the ropes! The fans are disgruntled as Level-One grabs Pence by the legs and flips him over the ropes and to the outside! Pence is holding his ribs as he lays out on the floor mats.
Harvey: Level-One has pulled the wool over all of our eyes, and has had total control of the match since revealing that he's not hurt in the slightest! But to be honest, I felt that Level-One hasn't been totally honest the entire time!
Chase: How can you say such libelous things about the challenger, Level-One? The fight doctor himself said that Level-One should not compete until tonight!
Harvey: I think you mean slanderous, Johnny! Libel is printed, slander is spoken! And it's not slander! Level-One is a known liar! It's a wonder we can believe anything he says at all!
The fans are chanting “Level-One Chupada! Level-One Chupada!” as the cocky challenger steps out between the ropes and pulls Pence up to his feet. Level-One bounces Pence's head off the apron before grabbing a hold of his tights and neck, tossing Pence headfirst into the guardrail! Level-One rolls back into the ring to break the count before pulling Pence back up and tossing him headfirst into the rail again! The fans are livid as Level-One stomps Pence mercilessly on the outside, continuing to target his midsection! The ref is to eight as Pence rolls into the ring to break the count again, before rolling back out! Pence is slowly getting to his feet, using the guardrail to pull himself up, and Level-One charges towards him, going for a Running Knee Strike! Pence gets out of the way just in the nick of time, causing Level-One to send his own knee right into the railing, much to the delight of the fans! The two begin to brawl on the outside as the ref continues the count! Pence gets the advantage and bounces Level-One's head off the apron before rolling the challenger right into the ring! Pence slides in himself, and gets to his feet, grabbing a hold of Level-One's head to pull him up as well! Pence whips his opponent towards the ropes, and delivers a thunderous Power Slam on the rebound, pinning him, 1 . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Level-One gets a shoulder up! Pence is undeterred focusing on Level-One's legs, trying to hook in the Boston Crab! Level-One uses his leg strength to prevent the hold, and slides his foot out of Pence's grip, using it to kick Pence off! Level-One gets to his feet, and ducks Pence's attempted Clothesline, and jumping up to hit him with a Pele Kick! The fans boo as Level-One goes for another cover, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Pence kicks out! Level-One gets to his feet, and motions for Pence to do the same. Level-One stalks his opponent as he slowly gets to his feet, and once Pence is up, Level-One grabs him from behind for a German Suplex! Level-One quickly applies the Triangle Choke! Pence grits his teeth as his face turns red, flailing his feet about to try and reach the ropes! Level-One torque's the arm and neck of Pence, and he appears to be fading! Pence's arm falls to the mat as the ref begins the mandatory three count. “1!” The ref lifts Pence's arm up again, and again it falls! “2!”
Chase: Pence is in real trouble here! We could be crowning our new champ in a matter of mere seconds!
Harvey: Level-One has the hold on deep!
The fans are chanting “Pence! Pence! Pence!” to try and will the champion on! The ref raises Pence's arm for the third and final time, but as Pence's arm is about to hit the mat, he gets it up, much to the delight of the fans, and much to the frustration of Level-One! Level-One tries to apply more pressure with the hold, but Pence is able to somehow able to turn himself over, and use his free arm to push himself out of the hold, slipping his head and arm through Level-One's legs!
Harvey: Level-One rarely has somebody escape from his submission maneuvers, but Pence was able to wriggle out!
Level-One and Pence both get to their feet at the same time, and lock up in a Collar & Elbow Tie Up! Level-One tries to push Pence back towards the corner, but Pence pushes back! The two men go back and forth, pushing each other for a few moments before Level-One gets the advantage and backs Pence into the corner! Level-One winds up for a punch, but Pence ducks out of the way, causing Level-One to punch the turnbuckle! Level-One is shaking his hand as Pence locks in a Full Nelson on him from behind before sweeping Level-One's legs out from beneath him for a Full Nelson Forward Russian Leg Sweep that bounces Level-One's head off the turnbuckle!
Harvey: What an innovative move by Pence! Level-One has pretty much been in control since revealing his injuries to be a fraud, so it's good to see Pence take back the control of the match!
Chase: I've got to give Pence props for his creativity, but I still think Level-One is going to walk out of here the new champ!
Harvey: Think what you want, these matches are decided in the ring, not on paper!
The fans are cheering loudly as Pence pulls Level-One back up and Snapmares him away from the corner, getting Level-One in a seated position! Pence tries to get a Sleeper Hold locked in, but Level-One wriggles out quickly. Pence reacts quickly himself, though, hitting Level-One in the back of the head with a Short Dropkick! Pence goes for a quick cover, 1 . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Level-One gets a shoulder up! Pence pulls Level-One back up to his feet, and whips him towards the ropes, lifting Level-One up with a Gorilla Press position on the rebound! Before Pence can slam Level-One down, though, Level-One slips down and hooks Pence's head for a DDT!
Chase: What a counter from Level-One!
Level-One goes for a quick cover, but only gets a one count! Level-One grabs a hold of Pence's head to pull him back to his feet, and sends him back down to the mat with a Flipping Clothesline!
Harvey: Level-One just turned Pence inside out with that Clothesline!
Level-One picks Pence up in a Suplex position again, and heads towards the ropes, looking to Front Suplex him over the ropes once again! However, Pence slips out, landing behind Level-One, and Clotheslines Level-One over the ropes and out to the arena floor, drawing loud cheers from the crowd! As Level-One uses the guardrail to pull himself up to his feet, Pence climbs up to the top turnbuckle!
Chase: We don't see Pence go to the top rope very often! What can he have in store for Level-One?
Harvey: This shows you what lengths Pence is willing to go to in order to retain his title! The top rope is not his natural environment!
Once Level-One is up, Pence leaps off for a Flying Double Axe-Handle, but Level-One gets out of the way at the last second, sending Pence's ribs crashing into the rails! The fans boo loudly as Level-One grabs a hold of Pence from behind, and shoves him chest first into the railing again and again! The ref is doing the mandatory 10 count as Level-One pulls Pence off the rails, and rams him back first into the apron! The ref is to 7 as Level-One rolls Pence back into the ring, and Level-One rolls in and out of the ring to restart the count! As Pence's head is hanging out past the apron, Level-One gives him a brutal Elbow to the face! Level-One then gets up on the apron, and gives Pence a Leg Drop across the throat, causing Pence to slide out beneath the ropes and flop to the arena floor! Level-One breaks the count once more, and then pulls Pence up and drags him towards the steel steps!
Chase: Looks like Pence crashed and burned, and now Level-One is going to make him pay!
Harvey: As much as I dislike him, there's a reason Level-One is one of the best, and it's because he takes advantage of any mistake his opponent makes!
Level-One looks to bounce the head of Pence off the steps, but Pence blocks and counters by ramming Level-One's head off the steps instead! Pence then grabs a hold of Level-One's head and leads him to the nearest post, and rams Level-One's head off the ring post before rolling Level-One back into the ring! Pence slides into the ring himself, and gives Level-One a few stomps before pulling him back up and whipping him into the corner! Pence backs up to the opposite corner, and gets a running start, nailing Level-One with a Running Body Splash! As Level-One stumbles out of the corner, Pence lifts him into a Gorilla Press position, and slams him down to the mat! Level-One gets back up to be greeted with a Scoop Slam from Pence! The fans are clearly behind Pence as he keeps gain momentum with each Scoop Slam! Pence gets a total of four Scoop Slams in before backing up to the ropes and hitting Level-One with a Short Leg Drop! Pence goes for the cover, 1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . Level-One gets a shoulder up!
Harvey: Now Level-One is in trouble! Earlier in the match, he had complete control, but Pence has really gained momentum!
Pence stays on the attack, pulling Level-One up, but as he's doing this, Level-One gives Pence a couple of elbows to the ribs, causing Pence to back off and double over in pain! Level-One then whips Pence to the ropes, and takes him down with a Big Boot on the rebound, killing the crowd's cheers! The crowd looks on with contempt as Level-One pulls Pence Weatherlight back up, locking in an Abdominal Stretch! Level-One uses his free arm to give Pence several hard Elbows to the midsection as he stretches him out, drawing the ire of the fans! A sly smile crosses Level-One's face as he continues to drive his elbow into Pence's injured ribs!
Harvey: As much as I dislike Level-One's strategy, I cannot deny that it is effective!
Chase: Don't forget, Pence hurt those ribs at Mayhem after being GTS'd off the ramp by Jason Royce! Pence's ribs haven't been 100% since, and Level-One is capitalizing!
Pence screams out in pain as Level-One keeps on elbowing Pence in midsection! After about a dozen elbows, Level-One then reaches back, grabbing a hold of the rope to gain leverage as the ref checks Pence. Level-One lets go of the ropes as the ref looks up towards him. As the ref checks back on Pence, Level-One again grabs the ropes, getting more loud, venomous boos from the crowd! The agony on Pence's face is clear as Level-One pulls hard with the Abdominal Stretch still on! The ref looks back up, and Level-One again releases the rope, the ref knowing none the better! The crowd is still enraged as the ref goes back down towards Pence, and again Level-One grabs a hold of the top rope! This time, the ref catches Level-One, and tells him to release the hold! “1...2...3...4...5! Let go of the hold!” the ref shouts before starting the count again! “1...2...3...4...5! I'll DQ you!” Before restarting the count, the ref kicks Level-One's arm off the ropes, forcing Level-One to release the hold! The ref admonishes Level-One as the challenger turns back to focus on the champ, pulling Pence up from the mat and whipping him towards the ropes! Pence ducks under an attempted Clothesline from Level-One, and on the rebound, hits with a ring shaking Spear! Pence is unable to follow up, collapsing on the mat right next to his opponent! The ref begins the 10 count! “1...2...3...”
Harvey: That was a desperation move from Pence for sure, but it helps keep him alive in this match!
Chase: Level-One had that Abdominal Stretch on for well over two minutes, not to mention the vicious elbows he comboed in with the hold!
“4...5...6...” Pence begins to stir, as does Level-One, “7...8...9...” Pence barely gets an arm draped across the chest of Level-One, 1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . . . Level-One rolls his shoulder up!
Chase: And this physical match is taking it's toll on both men! Level-One was barely able to get his shoulder up, but I'm sure glad he did!
Harvey: You would be, but then again, you do have rather low standards!
Chase: Hey!
Blow horns can be heard in the crowd as both men slowly get to their feet, exhausted from the physical match thus far, and both men are to their feet at roughly the same time! Pence takes a swing at Level-One, connecting right on the chin! Level-One takes a swing himself, hitting Pence in the cheek! The two men trade blows back and forth, both men visibly tired! The crowd comes alive as Pence gets the advantage, and backs Level-One into the corner with a string of consecutive rights and lefts! Pence continues to unload on Level-One before sitting the challenger up on the top turnbuckle, and goes up to the second turnbuckle himself, but Level-One gives him a hard punch to the ribs, causing Pence to step back down, allowing Level-One to counter with a Top Rope Spinning DDT! The crowd boos as Level-One goes for a cover, 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . . Pence kicks out! The fans erupt into loud cheers of “Weatherlight! Weatherlight!” as Level-One has a frustrated look on his face! The crowd claps in unison as Pence slowly gets to his feet, Level-One standing, waiting for his opponent to get to a vertical base! Pence gets to his feet, and Level-One comes in to tie up, but Pence ducks beneath and nails Level-One square on the chin with a Spinning Back Fist! As Level-One stumbles back, Pence whips him into the corner, sets him on the top rope, and gives him a Superplex! The crowd is firmly behind Pence as he goes for a cover, 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . Level-One gets out!
Harvey: What a match we're seeing here tonight! Neither man wants to be pinned or give up here tonight, and they're giving it their all!
Pence gets behind Level-One as he gets to his feet, and gives him another Russian Leg Sweep! As Level-One is on the mat, Pence tries to grab a hold of his legs for a Boston Crab, but Level-One resists, kicking Pence back into the ropes! On the rebound, Level-One rolls Pence through and locks on a Boston Crab of his own! The fans are clapping and stomping, trying to inspire Pence!
Chase: Level-One is targeting Pence's midsection again! He could have it here!
Pence screams out in pain as he desperately tries to crawl to the ropes! Pence gets a fingertip away from the ropes before Level-One pulls him back to the center of the ring, eliciting loud boos from the crowd! A few of the fans throw garbage towards the ring as a sadistic grin shows on the face of Level-One. Pence makes another go for the ropes, and again barely misses getting a hold of the bottom rope before being dragged back to the middle of the ring!
Harvey: As much as I hate to say this, it looks like the clock has struck midnight on Pence's title reign!
Chase: C'mon Pence! Tap out! Tap out now!
Level-One is laughing triumphantly in the ring as he sits in the small of Pence's back, but Pence twists himself around, grabs a hold of Level-One's leg, and manages to reverse the hold into a Single Leg Crab! The fans go wild as pain racks across the face of Level-One, who makes a lunge towards the ropes! It's Pence's turn to drag Level-One back to the center of the ring, but Level-One keeps at it, eventually getting a hold of the bottom rope! Pence immediately lets go of the hold, and grabs his ribs as he waits for Level-One to get up. Level-One pulls himself up with the help of the ropes, and has a slight limp in his step as Pence charges towards him. Level-One responds by giving Pence a Back Body Drop to the arena floor! Pence hits the mats, and rolls back into the guardrail as Level-One collapses down to the mat. The ref begins the 10 count!
