It's been awhile since I've heard about it but sure enough, last night in a very competitive game of Madden 10... BANG!!!!
I got hit with the red circle of death its fucking bull shit and I can't find my reciept, I'm heated everybody, I can't even get my game out...FUCK 360!!!

You don't need a reciept mate.
Phone Microsoft up (look via google, and put in red circle of death etc) and they'll sort you out.
My son's Xbox went the same in January, and I didn't have a reciept, but they couldn't do enough to help.
Try it, and I hope it works out for you.
PS: You may not get your game back - but then again, if you let them know what game is in it then they may do their best to send it back.
