The rumor going around is that Shane is leaving the company to help his mother during her run for Senate. And his resgination dosen't go into effect till January 1st 2010.

On a related update to this. Shane is talking with Dana White about buying into UFC and helping with there marketing. If this does happen it could be interesting consider what Shane knows about pushing a product and the fact that UFC is getting popular overseas.
