The scene opens up backstage at One Night in Hell in Tokyo Japan. it’s a few hours before the event is set to start and the wrestlers are showing up to the arena and heading to their dressing room, some mingling with others. The camera goes to one part of the arena where there’s a table, and sitting at the Table is the O’Connor Brothers and Mark Moment. The three of them are playing cards and drinking beer.
Mark: Do you have any 3’s?
Austin: Go Fishing Lad
Mark grabs a card and then takes a drink of beer.
Mark: Man, I can’t believe I’m hanging out with the REAL O’Connor Brothers. Man, I’ve been a HUGE fan since the first time I saw you guys. You guys are cool guys. I’m having a great time right now. Especially having a drink with you guys. You both a real class act, hanging out with a new guy like me.
Aiden: Aye Lad. Its too bad that we have to face you and your partner at One Night in Hell
Mark: I’ll drink to that!
The 3 of them raises their glasses and take a drink
As Austin, Aiden and Mark are enjoying their time, Scott Rock shows up to ruin the fun.
Scott: What are you doing mark?
Mark: Don’t worry, I’m not drunk….Yet!
Scott: We have a match against these two drunks tonight and you’re here being all buddy buddy with these guys. We should be going over our match. Just because your friends with them, I’m not going to hold off on splitting them both open from ear to ear.
Mark: Fine. Lets go get ready Scott. Aiden, Austin, see you guys in the ring later and good luck.
Mark and Scott walk off and then Scott stops and looks at the Brothers.
Scott: Don’t think I’m going to lose my debut match because you guys can manipulate him.
Scott walks off and the scene fades
The scene opens up in the work out room in the Tokyo Dome. You see Mark Moment doing push ups while Scott is counting
Scott: 24.….25.….26.….27.….
Mark: How much more do I have to do
Scott: Your 180 pounds soaken wet. You got no muscle to you. You’re a scronny little wimp, you need to bulk up for tonight. I’m not losing tonight because of you. Now go.
Mark continues with the push ups.
Scott: 28.…29.…..30.…31...
Knock Knock Knock
Scott: Don’t stop.
Scott goes to the door and opens it, sticking his head out for a few seconds and pulls it back in.
Scott: I’ll be right back. Don’t stop the push ups.
Scott leaves the room and as soon as the door closes, Mark stops doing the push ups and sits on the ground.
Mark: Man, what a jerk. I thought it was going to be awesome teaming up with the great Scott Rock, but damn, this guy is a major dick. This guy is so paranoid about losing that he think that I’m going to cost him the match. He shouldn’t be worrying about me, he should focus on himself.
This is my first match in a major company. I’m excited, but at the same time, nervous as hell. Before, I never wrestled more than 500 people at an indy show, but now, I debut at a big PPV One Night in Hell. A PPV that will be seen by thousands in attendance and millions watching around the world. An event where my first match here will have the ring ropes replaced with Barbwire ropes. Either this is going to be my first and only match here because I will die, or I’m going to get lucky and leave to fight another day. And even though I became friends with the O’Connor Brothers, it doesn’t mean I’m going to let my partner hang high and dry. Scott Rock is my partner once that bell rings until that bell rings again to end the match. I’m not as experienced as everyone else in this match, but I’ve youtubed many matches with barbwire in them, and each and every one of them, the wrestlers would barely walk out. Their bodied cut from the barbwire, blood leaking out of their body. The thought makes me sick to my stomach. But its time to take that step in being a true superstar.
I used to be a subscriber to Pro Wrestling illustrated. And one article I remember had to do with Wrestling and Japan. How wrestling here is more respected than anywhere’s else in the world. How the Japanese people love the blood, guts and gore. And I know, the Japanese fans are looking forward to his PPV and this match. And if we disappoint, we will know. I’m scared as hell of being in this match. I’ve never touched barbwire before. I’ve never been busted open or had my flesh tore a part. But, I’ve watched this business all my live. I’ve given so much to this business and its given back to me. So even though I’m scared as hell, I’m going to do everything I possibility can to win this match. I’m going to do everything I can to prove that I belong on the APW Roster. I will do anything to earn the respect of the fans and the guys in the back.
The O’Connor Brothers, They like to drink, they like to party, but one that bell rings, its go time, it doesn’t matter if we’re friends or not, because tonight, we’re competitors in that ring and I’ll do what I got to do to win. Everything is legal in this match, and I’ve come to terms with that, but I got Scott Rock as my partner. And this guy doesn’t screw around. He will do what it takes to win, just like me. See, we may have not of been together for long, we may know nothing about each other unlike you two, O’Connor Brothers, but that means nothing in this day and age. Its matches like this where two complete strangers can go in and win it. It doesn’t take talent or skill to win a barbwire ropes match, it takes ring smarts, and I have that. Like I said, I youtubed many Barbwire matches and I know what it takes to win. See, I got the heart of a lion, and I have the soul and determination to win this match. Face be fears, laugh in the face of danger.
Connor Brothers, you may be bigger than me and I may be the smallest guy in this match, but I’m going to use that to my advantage. I’m going to use my speed and agility to throw you two brothers off your game. See, I’ve been the smallest man all my life. I’ve always fought for myself. I’m a fighter. I’m a survivor. And there’s nothing you guys can do to keep me down. I love being the smallest guy. I love being the underdog. Because no one expect the underdog to come out on top. The Underdog is unpredictable. The Underdog is the most dangerous person in any match. And I’ll be proving it tonight.
Austin, Aiden, After the match is done, I’ll be happy to go to the bars with you guys and party. I’ll even buy you guys a round. But, Tonight, in the ring Aiden and Austin, The only round I’m going to buy, is a glass full, of your blood. And that my friends, Is…A Mark..Out…Moment!
Suddenly, the door starts to open
Mark: Oh Crap
Mark gets down and starts up with the push ups again and Scott Rock walks back into the room
Mark: 298.…299.…300!
Mark gets up and looks at Scott
Mark: Is that enough?
Scott: I think your gonna do just fine tonight.
The two nod their heads at each other as the scene fades to black
Mark: Do you have any 3’s?
