..:::EWC NEWS:::...
- To the shock and awe of many, President Mac made a return to the EWC this week and with him came many changes and announcements.
Almost a full year has passed since Monday Night Brawl has made any sort of noise or had any kind of a live show on network television. However all of that changed in one major swoop as President Mac named himself the new General Manager of Brawl. Perhaps in the most shocking move was the announcement of who the Co-GM of Brawl would be, the former bad-boy himself Jason Burgess.
Added to the Brawl face lift comes the parade of star power. President Mac hasn't shied away in the past on using his status to call in favors but perhaps none greater then the moves he has made to boost interest on all three brands.
While two familiar faces make a Return to Prime time in Joe Aiello as Main Commentator and Ace Heart as backstage reporter, everyone else is new to the fold. Keeping with Brawl we have the addition of Jeremy Piven (Entourage, The Goods) doing color and 90210's very own Jessica Stroup as ring announcer. Mac has also recruited 9 new faces for the Brawl roster while also announcing the return of John Green.
While Rampage sits roster-less and GM'less at the moment, this didn't stop Mac from adding star power to the ratings stealer as former WCW Champion and Actor David Arquette takes on the role of commentator with his former "Ready to Rumble" cast-mate Scott Caan as his partner. Taking over as ring announcer is the very beautiful Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chriqui (Entourage, Zohan).
Mac didn't stop there, as he also recruited current "between job former wrestlers" Rob Van Dam and Jim 'The Sandman" Fullington as HCW's commentators.

...:::KING OF THE CAGE UPDATE:::....
- While we are still a month away from Brawls return to it's 12th Season, Mac is not going to make us wait for live action. As promised, KING OF THE CAGE will take place this year as a WORLD WIDE EVENT.
It is reported that upwards of 16 Federation Leaders are considering sending talent to represent them in this years biggest tournament, and at least 5 of them have already agreed to lend services in arranging the event to take place, which will be hosted once again by the EWC.
With 7 days remaining until the sign-up for the event is closed, the first round matches are expected to take place November 15th 2009. The buzz is certainly big for this event, as upwards of 30 Wrestlers will compete in order to be crowned the Greatest Wrestler in the World.
At the moment 15 Wrestlers have signed up after the announcement came 48 hours ago, and lots of internet chatter indicates that two major heavyweights are about to come out of retirement to partake in the tournament also.

..:::KCW NEWS:::...
Also in other news, it is reported that Michael Saint is no longer the acting Vice President of the EWC and is on the verge of re-staring his defunct federation the "KCW". Mac has said to be in full support of the move and plans to have future events in conjunction with Saint. Mac has gone on record in calling Saint one of the "Greatest minds" in the business and wishes him all the best in bringing back to life a "Solid and Entertaining" KCW.
