WWW.EWRESTLINGMONTHLY.TK - Earlier tonight APW's weekly offering of Overdrive aired live from Tokyo, Japan. After days of internet chatter and rumors ran rampant about some big Announcement Hurricane Jeff was going to make, the moment finally came.
For the first time in two months, APW President Jeff stood in the middle of the ring and addressed the fans. He talked about how long the APW had been running, he mentioned he could walk away and shut things down but instead he issued a challange. And the challange went something like this:
There was many mixed feelings from the crowed and from Overdrive GM Max Carter, who just happens to be EWC President Mac's son.
Since the announcement was made the Internet has been abuzz. Phone calls have been pouring in demanding a reply from President Mac, while the many fan sites across the globe began the chatter on who would win in a match, with both former wrestler coming in dead even amongst fans of both men and federations.
The history between these two great men and Fed Heads is long and great. Mac had come out of retirement to take place in a tournament held by Hurricane Jeff called "Battle of the Best". Mac defied all odds stacked against him and won the tournament back in 2006.
Shortly after Hurricane Jeff would become a prominent force in the EWC and had many great battles and championships while in the 12 year old fed. He also maintained a great relationship with Mac has was seen when he hired Mac's son in the APW.
However there has been some strain on the relationship once President Mac had gone missing for a full year from Wrestling leaving Michael Saint in charge of EWC. Many in Wrestling were upset for the leave and still harbor resentment since his return.
Explaining his disappearance as a "Personal Emergency" Mac has since been back and resurrected the nearly dead EWC. Mac has also gone on to host the King of the Cage Tournament which also has members of the APW representing.
Bringing more into the equation is the rebirth of Monday Night Brawl. On the new looking roster sit two current APW Wrestlers. How this will play into the feud will surely come into focus as the days and months pass.
Having just finally caught up with President Mac at JFK in New York. Apparently Mac was in town catching the final of the World Series. We asked him to comment on Hurricane Jeff's challenge. With a smile on his face, Mac loosened his tie and made this reply to the many camera's and microphones in his face
Mac then winked at the cameras and continued
Before boarding a Airplane for Toronto, Mac had one last comment for the reporters and Hurricane Jeff
So it seems that the proverbial ball is back in Hurricane Jeff's corner. Will a much anticipated match take place between the two former World Champions? Will these two Hall of Famers and Federation Presidents agree to meet in the ring?
Only time will tell

"There’s one man out there who I’ve never faced. There’s one man that I’ve known for quite a while that now is the time to fight. So, December 20th, Christmas Chaos, I’m calling you out BIGMAC!"
There was many mixed feelings from the crowed and from Overdrive GM Max Carter, who just happens to be EWC President Mac's son.
Jeff continued: "That’s right, The President of Extreme Wrestling Corporation. So Mac, I know your watching, I want you to grow a pair and meet me in MY ring. In MY company. At MY event. Mac, you disappeared for a year, and came back a week ago to take over the wrestling world again. That’s fine by me. But you turned your back on everyone, you became selfish and in the process, upset a lot of people. Well guess what, everyone may get on their knee’s and worship you, but not me Mac. You don’t scare me. You don’t Intimidate me and I got the gut to stand up to you. I called you out Mac, now be a man and accept my challenge. There’s no running from me Mac….."

With a smile on his face, Mac loosened his tie and made this reply to the many camera's and microphones in his face
"Of course I saw the so called challenge made, I'm an avid watcher of APW in between commercials of The Office, Community and 30 Rock"
Mac then winked at the cameras and continued
"I actually just got off the phone with Jeff, and had a wonderful conversation with his answering machine. I told him that he has over-due movies at the Adult Video store. Apparently they have me down as his alternate contact. So Jeff, when you get a chance, please return "Licking Ryans Privates", "Adam and Steve: In Like Sin", "Tickle me, Pickle me: Part Gayteen". Oh and the "CockFather" parts One, Two and Three which apparently you have had for over a year"
Before boarding a Airplane for Toronto, Mac had one last comment for the reporters and Hurricane Jeff
"Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere... My blackberry is always with me. Be a man, make the call"
