EWC VS APW Heats up & H.O.F. Update

eWRESTLINGMONTHLY.TK APW President Hurricane once again came out during his weekly show "Overdrive" to address the EWC's and more notably President Mac's ignoring his request for a match.

Jeff went onto bash the EWC, it's roster and President Mac. While Mac may have been behind the drugging of President Jeff, and the rumored male escort that took Jeff back to his hotel for what many have speculated as being a "good time" for both parties involved, he has continued to take the high road in not making any negative comments regarding the APW Roster or Federation.

However Hurricane Jeff's unprofessional negative comments towards the EWC prompted Mac to finally appear on Overdrive and accept his challenge to fight at APW's end of year Pay Per View "Christmas Chaos".

Today President Mac issued the following statement

"For those who watched APW's Overdrive this week would have noticed that the voice on the satellite feed was NOT my own voice. I have never been drunk in my life, and clearly that person was as drunk as can be. I am an English major and could never imagine screwing up so many words in my mother tongue. That being said, my assistant (who made the phone call) has been suspended without pay.

This is NOT to say that I am backing out of the match. I gave my assistant the go-ahead to make the call and let Jeff know that I would take part in the match, but I was unaware that he was under the influence of alcohol while making the call. So I would like to apologize for any who were offended by his actions.

Regarding Jeff and the APW, I continue to have respect for the APW who are a great federation even if it's being run by someone drunk on his own ego. For all those that know me, I have always put the EWC first. I feel that at this time the integrity of my federation is being attacked, and I feel it necessary to stand up for my people. Jeff has gone too far in attacking my Federation and my Roster. He has no right to make personal attacks against them. How quickly he forgets the hand that feeds him.

This match is what he has wanted, and so this match is what he gets. I am sure I will be treated unfairly by his ref's, and that is why I requested a no holds barred, falls count anywhere match. I will also have my own people on hand to make sure that no one gets involved.

I look forward to this match, and the cross brand promotion it brings to both sides. However, I hope for the sake of Jeff's legacy, that he gives up the unprofessional name calling of my Federation and our crew. If he wants to beef with me, that's fine, I'd be upset too if he doubled my roster size in less then a month. But that's the business. I busted my behind to get the amount of talent we have, and I am damn proud of all of them.

And as far as the Male escort rumor, I have no idea what thats about. I am not one to judge though. Everyone deserves a chance at love"

In other news, the EWC has announced that December 23rd will be the LIVE Broadcast of the eWrestling Hall of Fame & Awards ceremony for 2009. It will take place in Los Angeles California, and be hosted by Mac's close and personal friend JIMMY FALLON.
