K.I.D. is sitting in the front room of his home, but the casual fan notices that he’s not relaxed or jovial. He sits with his P.C.W. North American title over his right shoulder, and a replica of the Overdrive belt in his lap, hands clasped behind his head as he thinks.
So for the last week…….week and a half I’ve waited for the big bad monster known as RassleMania VI to start, to know how It’ll taste to be on the biggest stage A.P.W. has to offer, and then have one of my opponents tell me how he is going to destroy me? Well boys, given this is a ladder match, why don’t you just give me the Title seeing as I'm the best of all of us, and you can keep on going. If you are going to try and say I don’t hope for a world title some day, you’re sadly mistaken, but I know my time isn’t right now, maybe in a few months mine will come, or a few years. My point is that at this time and moment my focus is the Overdrive Championship Title and beating the three of you.
You have a problem boys and that is you think anyone who stands in the way of your quest for bigger and better needs to be destroyed. I’ve met and wrestled that kind before. Men who were big and bad and thought I wouldn’t be a threat to them only at the end of the match to find themselves mistaken when the final bell has rung.
Taj well I’m not going to dwell on Taj because one he has little say in this federation and two has even less say in this match. This is purely the “wrestler” facing the “man”. You said it yourself that there will be others after you proclaiming they are they are a “monster” but see there is a problem here Marky boy, and it’s simple. Men do fall, they do fail, and they do lose. I’ve taken on one or two of the men of the past and it’s the simple truth. I don’t proclaim to be the biggest guy in the ring, and I won’t proclaim that I’m the best one there is for the job, but at RassleMania VI I get at least a challenge, that is something to be said. Something that honestly, my opponent to earn this shot wasn't. I beat him and now in this match the three of you get to follow in his path.

You may question why did I wait so long to speak, it’s because I’m preparing for the challenge. I know that it’s a hard concept to understand how I can prepare for someone who I’ve never faced, let alone has yet to say a word, but it is possible. In fact while at moments it seems frustrating it's also refreshing not having to have a verbal battle with an opponent, instead have an opponent who would rather we settle this in the ring. I’ve had opponents stoop to some pretty low levels to try and draw my anger out, but believe it or not, I realize it is my time to make my stand in A.P.W., win or lose. Mark you want to be Overdrive Champion? That’s not ok with me because I truly don’t think Taj, Jimmy Jazz, or you deserves the title, but before you look to that you need to look at the very near future. You need to look at RassleMania VI and who you are facing. I will have the Overdrive Championship title, surprised? You shouldn’t be, for I’ll surprise you more by saying that with myself as the Overdrive Champion we could be a formidable team at the top of A.P.W.'s ladder.

Do the inmates run the asylum? Who’s to say for certain but the guys like us, those that pay their dues, who are willing to back up their words. I myself would venture to say that there is a portion of the current roster who can currently do that, and I think you are a man who can do that. I also believe myself to be one who can do that and some others can.

Confused yet Mark? Thinking that I’ve gone completely insane? I know many will see this and think I’ve completely lost my mind, that I actually said we could be a team that would be unstoppable. We could be the ones to rule A.P.W. and then….well maybe the inmates would be running the asylum. But for one night we must face each other and I know this. I will face you, and face a great challenge, I don’t kid myself on that. It is the outcome that might stun some, for unfortunately I have a feeling that for you to get the thing you desire, you must first suffer a loss to me, one of the best technical wrestlers in the business today. But I know that just being technical will not win me this match, but that I must get physical too, and I’m ready to do that, do whatever necessary to be the A.P.W. Overdrive Champion. I’ll see you in Huston, the outcome of the match may not go the way you want because I plan on winning. Jimmy Jazz listen up buddy you'd be best to stay away from the ring come RassleMania VI.
