StrangleMania is to EWC as the World Cup is to FIFA, Super Bowl is to the NFL, the World Series is to MLB, the Stanley Cup Finals is to the NHL, and the NBA Finals is to the NBA in the sense that it is the most important event of the year in sports entertainment.
It is truly "The Grandaddy of Them All" or "The Showcase of the Immortals"
Although this is only the 8th Recognized StrangleMania event, SM has long been running through the 13 years of the organization and this years event is considered by many in the industry to be the 13th annual event of the show
This years event sees 5 matches scheduled with over 20 wrestlers set to take part in the event. The Giant Arena in Hershey Pennsylvania will be the host to thousands in attendence and millions more watching on pay-per-view. While the event itself has been sold out for well over a month, it's not too late to order on Pay-Per-View
For the first time ever, StrangleMania will be broadcast in all major movie theaters in North America and in Europe.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
StrangleMania VIII kicks things off with a Triple Threat match to determine the new EWC International Champion. This is only the 3rd time that the International title will be present at StrangleMania. Project Zzyzx will attempt to become the first Woman to EVER win the International Championship as she faces off against Bryce Bridges and Captain Insanity.

ANYTHING GOES HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
What would StrangleMania be like if the Hardcore Championship belt wasn't on the line? This year marks the first year that the Hardcore belt enters the event vacated. However don't let that fact fool you into thinking that this match will be taken less lightly without having a defender for it.
Pence Weatherlight and Kid Cannabis have been at war since Cannabis' turn to the darkside known as The Sedition. Things will only heat up to a fever pitch as these two square off in a Any Thing Goes match for what could be the highlight of the night.

RAGE IN THE CAGE OPEN INVITATION MATCH
Anyone on the EWC Roster can RP for this match. Winner gets a Guaranteed title shot for the title of there choice

Next up is the open challenge free for all RAGE IN THE CAGE match. First Introduced at StrangleMania I - Rage in the Cage is a Hell in a Cell cage wrapped in barb wire, with two garbage cans filled with weapons handcuffed to two turnbuckles of the ring. The key to the lock of the cage is attached to a Suitcase and is hanging from the top of the cage. The only way to win is to get a ladder from under the ring, climb it, grab the key, and unlock the door, and exit the cage. Inside the case is a guranteed shot at the title of the winners choice
So far 9 EWC SuperStars have been booked for the event: William Rast, Eddie Dangerously, Deadpool, Brian Kendrick, Cannonball Kid, Nathan Harter, Kyle Deathlocke, Shadow Man and the unbelievable return of Michael Howell III
This match is open to anyone who is currently on the EWC roster (even if your booked already) and anyone who joins the EWC between now and StrangleMania.

30 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH
This is one of the most highly anticipated matches of the entire year in the Wrestling Universe. For months BDC and Moses Lake have been at each others throats and the war of words and run-ins is about to climax in an incredible 30 Minute Iron Man match where the man who has the most pins will win this ultimate show down.
This is certainly a match for the ages and not one any Wrestling fan would want to miss!

EWC UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP CASKET MATCH
And finally, the Main Event.
Two men who have early on cashed there tickets to face off for the most coveted title in all the Wrestling World. The EWC Championship is widely recognized as the most sought after championship in sports-entertainment. Dating back to 1997, the EWC Championship was first awarded to Black Ninja after he defeated Poser in the finals of a tournament in April of that year. Since that time, some of the biggest names in the business have held the EWC Championship, including BigMac, Steve Bennett, The Rev, Gladiator, Shadow Man, BDC, Moses Lake and many more!
Now for the 4th time in EWC History, the EWC Championship will have a new owner at a StrangleMania event. Both Mr Strange and Larsen Van Dan Kamp will do there utmost to try and become the 36th man to hold the EWC Championship belt. Neither wrestler have won the title before and are ready to become household names as they battle on the biggest stage of them all for the greatest prize!
