Its Sunday Morning and The Scene opens up in the parking garage of the Reliantin Stadium in Houston, Texas. A Car pulls up and parks next to a Valet parking guy. The door opens and out comes Mark Moment. He grabs his bag from the back seat then hands the Car Keys to the Valet Parking Guy.
Mark: Take good care of it.
The Valet Parking guy nods his head and gets in the car, driving off. Mark begins walking towards the arena doors, and is quickly stopped by the always pretty, Cindy Shannon.
Cindy: Mark, can I get a few words with you regarding tonight’s big show?
Mark: You betcha.
Cindy: Tonight Mark, is Rasslemania VI. This is event where Legends are made. Where Boy’s become men. How are you feeling right now.
Mark: Words can’t describe the feeling I have. I’ve been waiting to wrestling at Rasslemania ever since Rasslemania 1. And now, that tonight is the night, I won’t lie, I’m nervous, but at the same time, I’m excited. Look at the smile on my face, I can’t take it off.
Cindy: What is going through your mind as your set to fight in a ladder match for the Vacated Overdrive Title.
Mark: This is a huge opportunity for all of us. But I don’t think anyone wants the title more than me. I don’t think these other guys realize just how important this title is. Look at the list of names that held this title. Justin Job, Michael Lively, Link, Biggs, Shadow, Pence Weatherlight. All top class wrestlers. And for me, to have my name along those guys is an honor to be part of that elite. And with this being a ladder match, anything can happen. But I’ve seen a lot of Ladder matches, and even though this is my first ladder match, I’m going to use that Ladder to my advantage. And one way or another, I’m climbing up and taking that title.
Cindy: Lets talk about your opponents for tonight. Lets start off with Tajhay Gudakishka. What are your thoughts on him?
Mark: Tajwho? This guy comes into APW, wins 1 match, gets put into the Overdrive Title ladder match, and where is he now? The guy has been quiet. Has he even shown up to the arena yet? The way I see it, Tajhay will days in APW are numbered.
Cindy: Lets next talk about Jimmy Jazz. He had a few words for you. First, saying that he would have beaten you on the last Overdrive if you two would have fought
Mark: Jimmy Jazz thinks highly of himself doesn’t he? Well, that’s all fine and dandy. I’ll let Jimmy Jazz think what he wants to think. Jimmy Jazz isn’t as great as he thinks he is. Jimmy Jazz is just some other bum from the streets looking to be a star in APW. See, I could go and tell you, tell Jimmy, tell the fans that Jimmy is wrong. That Jimmy isn’t better than me. That Jimmy isn’t going to embarrass me. Instead, I’m going to prove it. I’m going to walk down that aisle tonight, get in that ring and then fight my way up the ladder and grabs that Overdrive Title. I’ll make Jimmy Jazz eat his own words. I’ll make Jimmy Jazz realize that he’s nothing that he thinks he is and that Mark Moment is the real deal and your next APW Overdrive Champion.
Cindy: And finally, Hellfire K.I.D
Mark: Hellfire. The guy who is prancing around with a title from another promotion. A promotion which I’m pretty sure doesn’t even exist anymore. Hellfire needs to realize this. This, is Action Packed Wrestling. Only 3 titles matters in the wrestling world. The APW World Heavyweight Title. The APW Xtreme Title and the APW Overdrive Title. If your trying to impress everyone by carrying around a title that no one cares about, then Hellfire, your just stupider than you look. See Hellfire, you won one match here in APW. Against someone that don’t even matter. But you don’t impress me, you don’t scare me. Because at the end of the day, you have yet to prove yourself here, and the way I see it, your no better than Jimmy Jazz and Tajhay.
Cindy: And final words?
Mark: Tonight boys, it’s a big night for all of us. Rasslemania, the biggest event of the year, and the four of us are kicking off the show that will set the standard for the rest of the show. I’m bringing my A game. I’m giving it my all tonight. Tajhay, not even Ghandi can save you tonight. Hellfire, after tonight, your girlfriend will be marking out for Mark Moment and Jimmy Jazz, just remember this, I’ll prove to you tonight that it was YOU who got lucky that our match on Overdrive was changed. Boys, get ready, because tonight, I’m winning the Overdrive title and walking out the new APW Overdrive Champion.
Mark walks away as the scene fades to black.
