Was just watching the MITB Ladder match until it went out. It was a very nice match seeing as how I don't really like WWE anymore.

Great Wrestlemania! Just got back from it. The only match that sucked was Bret Vs Vince considering it was just Bret beating the shit outta Vince.
60/40 for Cena tonight. But everyone even the Anti Cena fans seemed happy with the match.
MITB was fun to watch except when Swagger won. LAME!
Divas got more cheers than Bret Vs Vince.
Very pro Edge tonight, but there were still Jericho fans there! Good match considering I wanted Y2J to win.
And Taker vs. HBK 2. Do I need to say anything? Nobody sat down during the entrances of these two and nobody sat down during or after the match. 50/50 for fans, glad HBK lost though!
The roof was suppose to be open the whole time but they kept closing and opening it throughout the show. I think people were complaining about the sun in their eyes, good thing I was sitting there.
Oh and I might go to RAW tonight if my friend wants to go I found some tickets that can be emailed to me for $41 each lower level row 3. Suck it!

Nice on snagging Raw tix.
Overall, I really liked the show, even Vince vs. Bret, if only because I'm a huge Bret mark, and I wasn't expecting a mat classic. Also, I was glad to see The Hart Dynasty get on the Mania card, and hope a huge push will come with their involvement.

For Bret vs Vince, people were into it up until the 3rd crowbar shot then it got ridiculous boring since he teased the sharpshooter forever and then he did it the fans were glad it ended.

Yea I read the spoliers for the show. I was hoping he would be the one that would get denied when it came to winning the title. Oh well guess the SD ratings will probably take a slight dip now.

One thing I hate about wrestling is that you got a guy like Swagger who's holding the world title but then you got a guy like Christain who is 10 time better than Swagger, is way more over than swagger and more then half the roster and can pull off great matches with anyone. Plus Christian doesn't look like a retard when coming out to the ring, and yet, Christain still doesn't have the world title.

I feel WWE is pushing stars that don't need pushing. Swagger is good. But he isn't on that level quite yet to me. Shelton should've have the MITB. He has imprived alot and though I don't really like WWE anymore, he has become one of my fav stars there. That irish guy that won the WWE title sucks

I don't think WWE see's Shelton as a Main eventer, that way he's the only guy to be in every MITB and not win it.

PWInsider.com
The latest news on Jack Swagger's shocking title victory over Chris Jericho at this past Tuesday's Smackdown tapings may not be news at all for much longer, as Vince McMahon is considering holding out and allowing Swagger to carry the briefcase for longer than two days.
Early word, from a source inside the company, is that Swagger will be a transitional champion. Chris Jericho was set to tour Europe with Fozzy's new CD release, therefore, WWE put the title on Swagger to insure that their Smackdown champion could appear at all house shows.
For the early part of the tour, updated cards show Swagger facing Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, the advertised house shows for after the Extreme Rules show have Swagger facing Drew McIntyre and Jericho once again defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Edge.
Rumors have it that, if WWE goes through with the title change, Drew McIntyre will be involved in some sort of "screwjob" to get the belt off of a babyface Swagger. McIntyre would then feud with Swagger into the summer, setting the foundation for the Money In The Bank pay-per-view set for July.
However, as of today, Stephanie McMahon and, surprisingly, Triple H have been very vocal about keeping the belt on Jericho, as they feel he has been one of the top performers in the company for some time now.
Just to note: WWE taped an alternate version of the Swagger cash-in at last night's Smackdown house show. Of course, this time, like on Raw, Swagger backed out of the match at the last second.

Almost makes me half interested to watch Smackdown to see which way they go.
Either way, I don't watch wrestling at all anymore, save for downloading WM a couple days ago; but I don't buy Swagger as a champ. The guy's facial expressions are so god damned idiotic.

This is exactly why wrestling these days, suck. So, swagger cashes it in and wins the world title a week after mania? That's a surprise, considering the exact same thing happened on raw with CM punk.
Here's a tip WWE; stop handing out free short rein title stints. That doesn't properly build a ''star''

I hate how the world title or any title in WWE for that matter has no meaning to it anymore

it's been a long running game of hot potato, dating back to the roster split in 2002.

To be fair they've been playing who's going to replace our two franchise guys for most of that time. And when they finally find the guy they think can do that... half of their fans love him the other half wish he would slip and break his neck... any wonder they are spreading it around?
I mean in the days before wrestling was this over exposed they could do long title runs, but to tv audiences with ever shortening attention spans they have to try to create drama and a surprise factor. That was the whole deal with Sheamus.. and love that one or hate it gave us something I sure thought I'd never see.... a FACE push for Randy Orton.

Bryan, I understand what your saying by long title reins.
However, short ones are just as unappealing. Even then, that isn't my beef. My beef is the way WWE thinks on how to build a star. Throwing a title on a guy for a month or two, isn't building a star. I wouldn't even say it gives them much more credibility.
If the title is passed around like a hot patato then it loses his importance. Almost like, ''Anyone can win it'' or ''X amout of guys held it before, what makes him any the more special?'' type deal.
Then again, I'm not the thirteen year old kid they're aiming to fool, so maybe I have it all wrong. I watched WM with my brother, watched raw last week, and I think I'm going to have to go back to the WWE television self-ban, again.

I'm with you for the most part on it being unfortunate. I guess I'm just not sure how you fix it right now. I think with HBK and Undertaker and some of the other guys heading towards retirement I think they're really trying to see which of these young guys has the chops for it.
I agree there's some systemic bad choices that go along with it... more than willing. But I think they're playing more give this guy the spotlight see how the crowd reacts to him... give him the spotlight see how the crowd reacts to him.
They suddenly have a lot of good young heels on the roster, which of those guys is going to be the *it* one? Who knows... personally my money is on Mr. Scotland "I'm HBK's latest project" McIntyre. First off life is fucking gold if you're that guy right now. Vinny Mac's boy on cam, HBK's off cam, about to get married being pushed through the moon. Unless he screws up major I don't see anything stopping him from becoming the top heel in the wwe, or at least on one of the brands, within two to three years.
But I mean the young heels they've got... Miz, McIntyre, Shamus, Ziggler, Swagger, Rhodes, Dibiase say what you want (and yeah I HATE the lisp myself) Most of them are decent on the mic and athletic enough to do good work inside the ring. That's big for the future, but not.... if like WWE has done in the past.... you don't find out what you've got before you have a mass retirement like happened a couple years ago.
I do agree there are better ways to do that. Totally. But I think I understand *why* they're doing it right now.
