OTTAWA, ONTARIO - Things have been very busy as of late in the EWC. StrangleMania VIII was a huge success and saw a new wave of champions crowned. Mr Strange has become the EWC Undisputed Champion while Captain Insanity is the International Champion and Kid Cannabis the coveted Hardcore Champion
In a huge twist, Michael Howell III came back from a long hiatus and took part in the massive Rage in the Cage event at StrangleMania. Kyle Deathlocke also returned from injury and went onto win the match in what turned out to be a 3 way tie. Now Howell, Deathlocke and rookie sensation Cannonball Kid have all won Money In the Bank title shots for the title of there choice
Sadly StrangleMania also saw what has been widely rumored as Moses Lakes final match as he went onto defeat BDC. Moses Lake is a two time King of the Cage winner and a Hall of Famer. The EWC wishes him all the best in his future endeavors and hopes one day Moses will return to the ring, considering how much money has been paid to him (nearly bankrupting Rampage)
This week marks the 13th Anniversary of the Extreme Wrestling Corporation, and the federation has setup a 3 Hour Television special to take place tomorrow night in the brand new EWC Stadium in Ottawa.
Many Superstars of old will be showing up to the event to wrestle, and many more are expected to pay there respects. This is going to be one amazing event that you will NOT want to miss as EWC goes old school in what is being billed as "The Bloodiest 3 Hours in TV History".
Following the Anniversary Show, the EWC will hit the road as the Superstars prepare to conquer Europe. Seven shows are expected to take place across Europe with the final show taking place on May 30th in England for the EWC's pay-per-view offering "UNCENSORED"
The tour dates are as follows
04.12 - hartwall arena FINLAND
04.19 - palais des sports FRANCE
04.26 - lanxess arena GERMANY
05.03 - O2 dublin IRELAND
05.10 - madrid arena SPAIN
05.17 - olympic arena ITALY
05.30 - UNCENSORED @ O2 Arena in London, England
The EWC is also pleased to announce Several New Affiliates within the EWC network. They are as follows: SWA, NSCW, KAPOW, SNW, SCW, NEWA, IW, XCW and Evolved Wrestling. Look for future articles on each of these companies on the EWC Website and in the upcoming April Release of EWM Magazine
