Was checking the new PS3 movies section and noticed a movie that said something about professional wrestlers. And there was Batista (Listed as David Bautista) and Rob Van Dam as the main actors.
Its called "Wrong Side of Town". None of the sites had anything about it and thought it was completely random to see. Has anyone seen it? Looked funny as Hell seeing Batista holding up a big ass gun but he makes it look like a squirt gun.

Well, I can't call it complete trash, since I was actually able to make it all the way through.
Not really "so bad it's good"; just kinda bad. The main synopsis is that Rob Van Dam's character and his wife go out to dinner at this new club with their new neighbors: a black guy even whiter than Wayne Brady and his statutory-looking wife. Not to give the plot (or lack thereof) away, but RVD gets himself into shit in the club and the owner is now out to kill him.
Batista plays an old army buddy of Rob Van Dam's that helps him out. I find it strange that Batista is credited by his real name (like Jesse said, spelled "Bautista", but Rob Van Dam goes by his stage name...) Plus, it's more of a cameo than anything, he just sorta shows up when things go bad as a "deux-ex-machina" device.
Interestingly enough, Omarion and Ja Rule get third and fourth credits, even though neither of them are in the movie that much. Omarion is in a few scenes, only adding up to a few minutes; and Ja Rule is in the movie, at most, 2 minutes. It's obvious they just throw them up their first so people will watch this.
There's also a very long, James Bond-esque credit sequence with a song called "the Wrong Side of Town".
The whole movie is shot like an episode of CSI.
And something I found funny, RVD gets shot in the leg (I think, anyways, he grabs it then falls but there's no flesh wound); and limps for most of the rest of the movie. Except in the fight scenes. Then he jumps, kicks, etc. with his bad leg. Guy still can't sell worth shit.
Bottom line: It's a movie staring RVD that has him doing a lot of talking. Maybe he was better in the ECW days, but man is he a terrible actor. And he's still sporting that stupid fucking haircut. Anyways, it's a decent enough way to kill an hour and a half if you've got nothing better to do. Just be prepared to watch a lot of scenes with Rob Van Dam limping around Baton Rouge.
