Gary Biggerstaff's House
Seattle, WA
“THWAP!”
Gary: Ouch! I felt that one!
“SOCK!”
Gary: Nice hit!
“BAM!”
Gary: Okay, I'm going to need to catch a breather after that hit!
Gary lets go of the punching bag he's been holding steady for Ellie. The two of them are training in his personal gym located in the basement of his house. It's an immaculate gym, filled with state of the art equipment, all of which is shining in the lights due to the flawless upkeep Gary's housekeepers perform on the machines. There's a hardwood floor, almost like that of a basket ball court, and bright blue and white walls surround the room. Biggs memorabilia peppers the gym.
Ellie uses a towel to wipe the sweat from her brow as she pants a bit, trying to regain her breath during a rather intense workout. She is dressed in some purple workout shorts and a black tank top with purple stripes going down the side. Gary is dressed in blue shorts and a Seattle Mariners T-Shirt with the sleeves cut off. The two of them head over to the minibar, which is stocked with all sorts of sports drinks and fruit. Gary grabs a Strawberry Kiwi Gatorade, and gives Ellie a Grape flavored one. He then hands her an apple, while he snacks on a banana
Gary: Ellie, I just gotta say that your work ethic during your training has been nothing short of phenomenal. Maybe its the fact that the pay per view is just a short drive down the road from here, but you've been training non-stop since Overdrive came to a close. You're putting my efforts to shame!
Ellie: Well, I learned from the best!
Ellie gives Gary a slug on the shoulder. The force of the blow causes him to drop his banana
Gary: Nuts! Even as immaculate as this place is, I wouldn't dream of doing the 5 second rule with a banana! Oreo, maybe, banana, heck no!
Ellie reaches down and grabs the banana, handing it to her fiance.
Ellie: Don't be a wuss! I know how much you hate to waste anything, so just finish the banana!
Gary breaks off the part that had been unpeeled and throws it in the trash bin with his old logo from the GWE days on it. He then unpeels more of the banana, and eats the part that wasn't exposed to the floor. He smirks as he does so, and Ellie motions that she's going to slug him, but he gets his hand up, and shakes his head while pointing to the banana
Ellie: You're lucky you have that banana, otherwise, I'd take you down!
Gary: I'd like to see you try!
Ellie: Fine! Once we're done with our snack, let's get into the ring! I don't want you to hold back at all!
Gary: Are you sure? Do you even realize what you're saying here!?
Ellie: Darn right I do!
Gary: You know how I feel about causing harm to women. I won't do it.
Ellie: C'mon! Do you want me to be able to beat Alyssa or not! You're a much better wrestler than she could ever hope to be, and if I can at least do decent against you, then there's no way she could beat me! Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease...
Gary shakes his head a bit, but sees the way Ellie's eyes are lighting up.
Gary: You know that I can't say no to you. But you need to promise me the moment you think I may end up hurting you that you tap out right away, okay?
Ellie: Okay! Cross my heart and hope to die!
Gary and Ellie head towards the regulation size ring, each of them grabbing a pair of sparring gloves that they normally wear in the ring. He holds the ropes open for her before entering the ring himself. Ellie is giggling a bit as Gary stands across the ring from her.
Gary: I need you to be serious about this, Ellie, because anytime I'm in the ring, be it for training or an actual match, I'm always dead serious. When I'm in the ring, I'm Biggs, not Gary, and that means I'll do whatever it takes to win. Are you sure you want to go through with this?
Ellie: Absolutely. If I'm going to beat Alyssa, I have to push myself as hard as I can.
Gary: Alright. Are you ready?
Ellie: (giggling) DING! DING! DING!
Right as Ellie mimics the ring bell, Gary shoots in and gets behind her, locking her into a waist lock! He tries to take her down, but Ellie hooks her foot around his ankle, and delivers a few backwards Elbows to knock him off. She then gets a running start to the ropes, and bounces off. On the rebound, Gary flops belly first to the mat, and then leap frogs her on the next pass. On the third pass, Gary goes for a Clothesline, but Ellie rolls under it and pops right back up to her feet to catch him with a Dropkick to the face! Ellie then mounts Gary, and begins to unload some fists, but he has his arms up to block! He then reverses the mount, flipping Ellie onto her back and taking the dominant position. He raises his fists, but looks down at Ellie, seeing the fear on her face, and can't bring himself to hit her. As Gary hesitates, Ellie shoves him backwards, and slips out, getting to her feet and nailing him in the chest with a stiff kick to the sternum!
Ellie: Psyche!
Gary holds his chest in pain as Ellie gives him a few more stomps to the chest, but as she's doing so, he takes his arm and sweeps her legs out from underneath her, causing her to fall backwards to the mat! She's slightly winded by the impact, and Gary quickly gets to his feet and immediately pulls her up and whips her towards the ropes! He catches her with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, and goes for the pin, making the count himself.
Gary: 1...2...
Ellie kicks out! Gary gets to his feet, and goes to pull Ellie up, but she contorts her body and wraps her legs around her fiance to lock in an Armbar, dropping him down to the mat while maintaining the hold!
Gary: Good counter! Urgh...I didn't see it coming at all! Still, your armbar is a bit sloppy!
Ellie: What do you mean “sloppy!” I got this sucker on tight!
Quick as a flash, Gary breaks the armbar, and gets in a full guard position with Ellie.
Gary: Not tight enough! You didn't have my arm completely straightened out, which allowed me to easily break the hold! Now this would be the point where I'd make you pay for it!
Ellie gets her hands up to defend herself, but Gary doesn't go for any punches or the like. Instead, a wave of emotion sweeps over him, and he grabs Ellie's hands, moving them aside so he can plant a passionate kiss on her lips! Ellie's surprised at first, but then she reciprocates. The two embrace as they continue to kiss each other on the mat. After a few moments, Gary realizes what he's doing, and pulls back.
Gary: I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. I took advantage...
Ellie: (softly) It's okay. I like it, a lot.
Ellie reaches back up to try and pull Gary back in for another kiss, but Gary resists, and breaks the mount.
Gary: We shouldn't be doing this Ellie. We're not married yet...
Ellie: But we will be. And it's not like we're having sex or anything like that.
Gary: But if we continue doing what we were doing, who's to say we wouldn't take it that far.
Ellie: What would it matter? We love each other.
Gary: I'm sorry, Ellie, but I just can't. Believe me, I want to, probably more than I've ever wanted to do anything in my entire life, but if we don't save it for our wedding night, well, then what significance will our wedding night have? I love you, Ellie, and that's why we have to wait. I'm sorry.
Ellie sits up, looking slightly dejected as Gary leaves the ring and makes his way upstairs. As she sits alone in the ring, Ellie thinks to herself.
”It's probably for the best. After all, he's the first boyfriend I've ever had that didn't try to press the issue, and he's the one that I'm going to marry. It will mean more if our first time together is on our wedding night, but I'll be honest, I don't want to wait that much longer.”
Upstairs, Gary is in the master bathroom, with the door locked. He's standing at the sink, looking in the mirror.
”Why'd I do that to her? I knew that if we actually wrestled, feelings like that would stir up inside me. STUPID! I was stupid! I can't let this happen again, at least not until our wedding night.”
”Knowing him, I'm surprised that he would agree to wrestle me, knowing how cautious he's been in showing signs of affection. I know that he wants to hold to his morals, but where do those morals come from anyways? It's not like he's still going to church or anything...”
”Why do I put myself in situations where I know I'll struggle? First off, we shouldn't have been training alone. Secondly, I shouldn't do any of the hands on training myself. It elicits too much of an emotional response, not to mention the physical one. I'll be honest, though, it felt really good.”
”Sometimes, I just don't get him.”
”Still, I have to stick to my convictions. But why do I stick to them if I'm not actively involved in the church? Why do I stick to them if I don't have any relationship with God to speak of? Sometimes, I just don't get myself...”

During the APW Mayhem Pay Per View pre-show, Cindy Shannon is backstage with Ellie and Biggs, who are both in their ring gear. Cindy eyes both of them suspiciously, and has a nervous tinge in her voice as she speaks.
Cindy: Ellie, tonight you have perhaps the most high profile match of your career when you face off against Alyssa Morenna one-on-one later here tonight. Your thoughts on the match?
Ellie: Darn right it's the most high profile match I've ever been in! I mean, who else have I fought in a one-on-one match? Only you, Cindy, and lets face it, you're far from the bee's knees. But the fact remains that no matter how Alyssa tries to frame herself as this great wrestler, the fact of the matter is that she has done nothing of note in APW yet. Even in the tag team match this past Overdrive, Sally Talfourd was the one who carried her team to victory, getting the pin over Leila Farrahi, while Alyssa just rode her coattails. The bottom line is that Alyssa Morenna did not win that match, Sally did. And on the same token, I didn't lose that match, Leila did. As such, I'm am currently undefeated, while Alyssa has yet to win a match on her own accord. The fact is, I have all the momentum going into this match, I have all the confidence, and most of all, I have all the advantage, with Chris Cyrus serving as the referee for tonight's match!
Cindy shudders at the mention of Chris Cyrus.
Cindy: How can you be so confident though, when Alyssa is so much more experienced in the ring than you are! I mean, you're still very new to this whole wrestling thing.
At this point, Biggs steps in to answer the question.
Biggs: I'll tell you how she can be so confident, Cindy. Yes, Alyssa may have the experience edge, she has it by a long shot, but what Alyssa doesn't have is the absolute best trainers money can buy. She doesn't have access to the absolute top of the line training equipment. And she doesn't have the Overdrive General Manager as he fiance. And while people can accuse me of showing favoritism towards my lovely bride-to-be, the fact is that I'm merely making sure that she's safe in there. If it were up to me, I wouldn't have her in that ring. But Ellie wanted this match, and what Ellie wants, Ellie gets.
Ellie: And what I want to do to Alyssa Morenna tonight is to embarrass her in the middle of that ring! I want to show her that her experience means jack, and that my will power and determination are so much greater than hers that it will carry me to a decisive victory here tonight!
Cindy: We've heard from Alyssa that she thinks that you feel like she's going to abandon APW at some point. Where did she get this notion?
Ellie: Honestly, I don't know. Would I like her to leave APW for good? Yes, yes I would. I can't stand the sight of her. But I'm having trouble thinking about anything that I've said and done that would imply that I think she's a quitter. I have not ever said one thing that would imply that I feel that way, even though I would love nothing more than for her to be gone for good. I don't doubt Alyssa's commitment to APW, just her abilities in that ring. Next question.
Cindy: Any final thoughts before you get ready to face Alyssa Morenna?
Ellie: Just this, Cindy, that Alyssa Morenna isn't half the woman that I am. Not only has she shown herself to be inept in the ring, but she has shown herself to be a woman of low moral character. I'm not going to call her a slut, a floozy, a whore, or anything else of the nature, I'm just going to call her what she is, and that is an adulterer. The definition of an adulterer is one who partakes in intercourse outside of wedlock, and that's exactly what you are, Alyssa. I don't have to use more harsh words to get the point across, I just have to say the truth. I've been training for this match harder than I've ever trained for anything in my life. I have put more blood, sweat and tears into preparing for this match than most people do for anything in their lives. And I know that you've been training to, Alyssa. It's just too bad that your idea of training involves you laying on your back. I've heard it's good for cardio, but you're going to need more than just a good heart to be able to defeat me here tonight, Alyssa. I want this win more than you do, and what I want, I get! Why?
Biggs: Because like me, she's quite simply out of this WORLD!
Biggs and Ellie walk off camera as Cindy turns back to the camera.
