Mark then backflips off the apron and as he lands to the floor, grabs Hellfire’s head and plants him with a DDT on the outside floor and a “THAT WAS AWESOME!” Chant starts up.
Harvey: Mark is pulling out all stops to win this match. Hellfire could be knocked out after that move
Just then, Alyssa shoves Mark from behind, who then turns his attention to her. They start exchanging a few words and Mark starts walking towards her and Alyssa begins walking backwards around the ring. Mark backs her all around the ring and as Mark walks past one of the ring post, Hellfire jumps up and clotheslines Mark. With the referee at the count of 8, Hellfire rolls Mark back into the ring and her gets in as well.
Chase: He could have left Mark out there and win by count out.
Harvey: Hellfire isn’t that kind of wrestler. He wants to pin Mark.
Hellfire helps Mark to his feet, grabs him by his head and smashes it into the top turn buckle. Hellfire then sits Mark on the turn buckle and then climbs up. Both guys stand on the top rope and Hellfire hooks Mark up and takes him up and over with a Super Plex. The crowd are on their feet as Hellfire gets the cover 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick Out.

We go backstage where Shane West is standing next to Mark Moment, who has a huge smile on his face as he’s hugging the Overdrive Title Shane: Mark, you just won the Overdrive Championship. How are you feelingMark: Shane Man, I’m so excited. I’ve waiting a long time for this and finally, all my hard work has paid off. I’m never taking this title off. But, I’d like to thank my Parents on accidentally having me. I like to thank my Grandma for bringing me to the wrestling matches back in the day which got me hooked. And thanks to all my family and friends who supported me. We did it! Woooooo!Mark goes off, away happy and we go back to ringside. Harvey: Someone is a little happyChase: What a nut job.Harvey: Up next, folks, we got quite the personal contest as Alyssa Morenna takes on Ellie! These two can't stand each other, and tonight, they get to settle their differences in the ring!Chase: Well, I doubt they'll actually settle anything tonight, but at the very least, their going to go at it! This should be great!Harvey: I have to disagree with you. Look who's already in the ring.Chris Cyrus is in the ring, clad in a referee's shirt. He has a cheesy grin on his face. The arena lights start to flash purple as Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" begins to play loudly over the speakers. Ellie enters the arena clad in her wrestling gear and ring jacket, and is joined by Biggs. The crowd boos loudly as the couple makes their way down the ramp towards the ring. Paige: Making her way to the ring first, accompanied by Biggs, from Standford, California, Ellie!Harvey: I'll be honest, in my estimation, Ellie is nothing more than a spoiled brat!Chase: Have you see how hard she's been training? Sure, Cyrus is out here to be the man in charge, but as we've seen, he's as fair a ref as there is!Harvey: Hogwash! As they reach the ring, Biggs walks up the steps first and holds the ropes open for Ellie before stepping into the ring himself. Her and Biggs dance a bit in the center of the ring before she removes her jacket and hands it to Biggs, turning towards the stage to await her opponent. “Somebody Help Me,” by Full Blown Rose, hits the P.A. and Alyssa walks out. Suddenly a burst of pyro and there's a phoenix on the titantron. Paige: And her opponent, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, “Lightning” Alyssa Morenna!Harvey: Alyssa has been waiting for quite a while for this match up! She can't wait to get her hands on Ellie!Chase: Alyssa sure talks a big game, and while she's looked impressive in her outings, she hasn't actually won a match on her own!Harvey: I think tonight could be that night, so long as Cyrus is impartial. But expecting that of Cyrus is like expecting Bill Clinton to be a faithful husband to Hillary! At this point Alyssa runs to the ring sliding in and glaring at Ellie. Cyrus gives her a brief wave, which Alyssa ignores completely, and Cyrus calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! ”Lightning” Alyssa Morenna vs. Ellie
As the bell rings, both women immediately go at it, charging at one another and throwing their fists about! Alyssa gets the advantage, delivering a knee to the midsection of Ellie and following up with Dropsault that sends Ellie to the mat! Alyssa pounces on to her, grabbing her by the head and bouncing the back of it repeatedly off the mat! Ellie is screaming in pain, but Alyssa doesn't relent. Finally, Ellie gets her hands up and shoves Alyssa back up off of her, and rolls back. Alyssa charges in for a Flying Clothesline, but Ellie ducks under, and turns around, catching Alyssa as she lands with a Front Foot Dropkick to the back, causing Alyssa to tumble forward into the ropes! As Alyssa bounces back, Ellie grabs her up and delivers the Dr. Teeth! (Swinging Neckbreaker into a Face Crusher on the knee.) Alyssa holds her face in pain as Ellie rolls her onto her belly, and hooks the arms into a Double Underhook, and delivers a brutal series of Ultimate Kneestrikes to the head!
Chase: She got that from Biggs' playbook there!
Harvey: Those are some vicious knee strikes to the cranium!
After about half-a-dozen knee strikes, Ellie rolls Alyssa onto her back and goes for a pin 1 . 2 . Alyssa kicks out!
Harvey: That was a fast count! Cyrus is trying to screw Alyssa out of a win here!
Ellie pulls Alyssa back up to her feet and whips her towards the ropes, but Alyssa reverses it! Ellie ducks the attempted Spin Kick on the rebound, and bounces off the opposite ropes, going for a Springboard Back Elbow! Alyssa dodges under it, and Ellie lands awkwardly on her feet. Before she can react, Alyssa takes her down with a Dragon Leg Screw, and turns Ellie over onto her belly to go for the Angel-Lock! Before she can lock it in, though, Ellie claws her way to the ropes, and Cyrus begins the mandatory five count, albeit a fast one. Alyssa lets go right away, and gives Ellie a few stomps to the back before Cyrus pulls her back away from Biggs' fiance. Alyssa yells for Cyrus to get his hands off of her, and Ellie gets back to her feet and gives Alyssa a Thumb to the Eye while she argues with Cyrus! The fans boo this move, and Cyrus doesn't even reprimand Ellie as she pulls Alyssa in for a DDT! She goes for the cover, 1 . 2 . Alyssa kicks out of the fast count again! Ellie gives her a few elbows to the side of the head and a couple of knees to the side before going for another pin, 1 . 2 . Once more, Alyssa gets the shoulder up!
Harvey: This is a travesty! Cyrus is giving Ellie every advantage in the book! Even though I feel that Alyssa is the more skilled of the two, it's going to take a miracle for her to be able to win this one!
Chase: Listen, maybe Cyrus is just a fast counter! We haven't seen Alyssa pin Ellie yet, so we don't have any counts to compare the counts he's been giving Ellie with. Don't be so quick to pass judgment, Harvey!
Ellie is beginning to show some signs of frustration, but Biggs is on the outside, clapping for her, and encouraging her to stay focused. The crowd starts an “ELLIE SUCKS! ELLIE SUCKS!” chant, which Ellie doesn't handle well at all. She covers her ears, trying to fade it out, and yells at the crowd that she doesn't suck, they do. All the while, she has her back turned to Alyssa, who manages to make it to her feet and gets behind Ellie, clubbing her in the back of the head before locking in an Octopus Stretch! Ellie is in significant pain as Alyssa stretches her out! However, despite the screaming, Ellie shows no signs of giving up, so Alyssa releases the hold, and pulls Ellie down for a Backslide Pin, 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . Ellie easily kicks out before 3!
Harvey: What a croc! Alyssa had Ellie pinned there, and Cyrus counted extremely slow! I was right, Chase! I was freakin' right about Cyrus' bias!
Chase: Cyrus had to make sure that the shoulders were still down between each count. Maybe he had a bad angle on it, and had to make sure!
Harvey: There's no justification for how long that took! Alyssa had Ellie down for at least a five count!
The crowd has a loud “BULLCRAP! BULLCRAP!” chant going, and Alyssa is up to argue with Cyrus again. Cyrus points to his referee shirt, implying that he's in charge, and what he says goes. Alyssa is pissed as she turns back towards Ellie, reaching down to pull her up, but Ellie reverses it into a Small Package, 1 . 2 . Alyssa reverses the pin, rolling Ellie into a pinning predicament, 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . Ellie kicks out! At this point, Alyssa realizes the futility of arguing with Cyrus, instead keeping her focus on her opponent. She reaches down to pull Ellie up, giving her a few Clubbing Blows to the back on the way up before whipping her towards the ropes. On the rebound, she launches Ellie into the air with a Back Body Drop! Ellie holds her back in pain, and Biggs reaches in the ring and drags her out as Alyssa makes her way over. This draws loud boos from the crowd. Biggs is comforting his fiance, and Cyrus hasn't even bother to start the ten count.
Harvey: This match has descended into a farce, plain and simple! Cyrus isn't even counting Ellie out at all!
Biggs is trying to calm Ellie down on the outside as Alyssa looks on them with disgust, running to the opposite ropes to gain momentum, and leaping over the ropes for a Suicide Plancha! Biggs sees her coming and shoves Ellie out of the way, taking the move himself! The fans cheer loudly as Alyssa nails the move and gets right up, grabbing Ellie by the head and bouncing it off the apron a few times before rolling her back into the ring! Right as Ellie is in the ring, Cyrus begins the 10 count, “1.2.3.4.” Alyssa slides in after a very quick four count. She is annoyed by Cyrus' obvious bias, but stays focused, sitting her up and locking on a Crucifix Stretch!
Harvey: This is smart by Alyssa, because she knows Cyrus won't give her a fair count, but there's no way he can deny the submission!
Chase: She hasn't done enough to get the submission win right now!
Contrary to what Chase has said, Ellie is crying out loudly, and looks to be on the verge of tapping. However, before she can, Cyrus gives Alyssa a hard kick to the head, breaking the hold! The crowd is booing loudly as Cyrus pulls Alyssa back up and gives her the Straight to Hell! Ellie then crawls over and pins Alyssa 1 . 2 . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winner: Ellie Paige: Here is your winner, by pinfall, Ellie!Biggs slides into the ring as Depeche Mode's “Enjoy the Silence” blares over the speakers! He and Cyrus help Ellie up and raise her hands triumphantly! However, by this point, Hellfire has made his way down to the ring with a steel chair in hand, and clocks Biggs from behind first to take him out of the equation! The music stops as Ellie screams and ducks out of the ring as Hellfire then turns to Cyrus and decks him with the chair, sending him to the mat! Hellfire then mounts Cyrus and begins to pummel him mercilessly, obviously angered that Cyrus caused physical harm to Alyssa and cost her the match! The fans are in a frenzy as Hellfire goes to town on the crooked ref! Chase: This is uncalled for! The match is over! Hellfire has no business attacking the ref!Harvey: Sure he does! Cyrus not only screwed Alyssa out of the match, but he got physically involved as the referee! That's not what a good ref does!Ellie helps Biggs up to his feet on the outside, while in the ring, Cyrus tries to wriggle his way out of the beating he's receiving at the hands of Hellfire K.I.D.! He manages to squirm towards the ropes, and Biggs and Ellie get a hold of his arms, dragging him out of the ring! “Somebody Help Me” blares over the speakers as Hellfire helps Alyssa to her feet. The couple glares out at the Axis of Awesome as they make their way up the ramp. The fans cheer loudly for Alyssa and Hellfire and we go backstage

We go backstage with Cindy Shannon standing in front of a camera
Cindy Shannon: Well APW fans I’ve got a treat for you tonight, I’m here with APW’s newest sensation the man who in just a little while will step into the ring with Level One… Bryan Payne.
The camera pans out away from Shannon to show Bryan standing next to her. His shades are pressed tightly up against his face and the little ever present smirk as though he’s in on some secret joke stays there as Cindy looks over at him for and then resumes talking.
Cindy: Bryan there have been a few charges thrown around lately between yourself and Level One.. both of you seem to think the other is over hyped and hasn’t really lived up to expectations lately. The difference is, as Level One stated… he’s had the hardware you haven’t.
Payne: Cindy, that’s a good point. But let’s talk about the titles that I’ve had that he hasn’t had… if we’re going down that road. I don’t seem to recall Level One EVER holding the Global Championship, the Silverweight Title, or the Blood and Guts Title… all of which I’ve held. What belts he’s cheap shot and cheated his way to getting aren’t work for his resume… it’s a running joke that everyone seems to be slowly realizing has been played on them. Level One is the greatest fluke to ever hit this company, this business or the Experts itself, and the criminal part about it is that he EVER won the True Expert Title to begin with.
Cindy: And what about his charge that he’s already beaten you twice?
Payne: Wow, I think he must have had a few too many knocks to the head there Cindy. He did pin me during the gauntlet match for the True Expert contender ship with the aid of a handful of tights and a fast count… I’ll admit that. But the only other time we were ever inside the ring together was at Survive and Conquer where I kicked his ass around the cage until he ran away like a little girl. He got out, I stayed in with three other guys and he realized then that he’d been shown up and that’s why he came back down to interfere in match he was no longer a part of. But that’s not really a surprise Cindy is it? I mean that’s standard operating procedure for Level One. I mean this guy never saw a fair fight he wanted any part of.
Cindy: And what about your critics who say that all of this is just a show? That you’re just moonlighting here in APW for a short time?
Payne: That they obviously haven’t read their history. My leaving Sin City Wrestling wasn’t a promotional stunt. Unlike Level One the people around me aren’t expendable. My Manger was killed in a car crash and I admit… afterwards I was not the same guy for a while. It took me a while but I worked my back and now here I am again, ready willing and able to regain everything that I lost in that moment. And surprise surprise, standing in my way is yet someone else calling me the new guy… the ‘rookie’ Why am I the ignorant one One? When every other syllable out of your mouth is horse shit? Please, you’ve got nothing to stay but thirty minutes of garbage in which you try to run me down to a national televised audience. I mean who are you trying to convince here One?
Bryan laughed a little bit and shook his head from side to side.
Cindy: Well… he can’t answer that Bryan… he’s not here, this is YOUR interview.
Bryan: Well you can ask him that when you see him ok?
Cindy: Er… I’ll let you do that.
Bryan: Fair enough fair enough. So they tell me you’re a real ball buster Cindy?
Cindy (blinking with a look of faint shock on her features): W-what?!
Bryan: Yeah, that you make it your mission to walk back here and enjoy smashing them to pieces when the ask you out.
Cindy: I never…
Bryan (laughing): It’s ok it’s ok… sorry. Anything else you want to ask me about Cindy?
Cindy: I… well…
Bryan held up his hand and grinned just a bit reaching over to slip the microphone out of her hand leaving her standing still with a bit of a shell shocked expression on her face.
Bryan: Well, Cindy that was the sound of your Payne cherry breaking. We like to call this bit where I steal a few seconds of air time while the person interviewing me stands there looking like a chimp at the zoo… easily confused with the Only Family Reunion slide show. I’m here with a very special message for Level One. I want him to know it comes from… deep deep down in my heart…. Hit it boys….
Music starts playing in the background and Bryan holds the microphone his shades pulled down slightly on his nose as he looks into the camera. The tune “Big Girls Don’t Cry” starts playing in the background
“Real men don’t cry… real men don’t cry…” “Real men… they don’t cryieieie… (they don’t cry..)”
Behind Bryan half a dozen techs start dancing around behind him in very badly choreographed dance moves
“Real men don’t cry… (that’s why you’re second class..)”
“Your belt… said good byeieiei… (my oh my..)… “But all the time… you just cried.. (gee I wonder why?)”
“(Level One) Could it be you’re all washed up? “(Level One) You just had your last chance used up.. “(Level One) But we say why don’t you understand? “REAL MEN DON’T CRY?!”
Behind Bryan the techs attempt to do spin kick turns and end up falling down like dominoes
“Real men… they don’t cryieieie… (they don’t cry..)” “But all the time… you just cried.. (gee I wonder why)?”
“Yooou said… ‘I was screwwewwewwedd…’ (Hope he reached.)” “Yoouu said….’they’re all foouhoools…’ (but you’re the big loser.)”
“(Level One) Shame on you, what have you done?” “(Level One) Gone and whined and said nuh uuhh?! “(Level One) We’re on our knees… singing remember please…” “REAL MEN DON’T CRY!”
“Real men… they don’t cryieieie… (that’s why you’re toast..)” “Reaaal men… they just try.. (instead of playing remember when..)” “Real men don’t cry…. Real men don’t cry…”
The music fades down and Bryan looks back over his shoulders to a Cindy that is leaning back against the wall… mostly to get out of the way of the insane dancing techs, and nods.
Bryan: Thanks fellas… maybe…work on those turns… and Jake.. damn get some ice on that. See Cindy…. Wait where did she go?
He turns around to find her and brings her forward.
Bryan: See Cindy Level One has spent every waking minute since he lost that belt whining and complaining about how he never should have lost it instead of taking care of business the one place he could actually get something accomplished… he’s been playing find the chair and here’s my little knife with me. Tonight… you’re all going to get to see him cry again… Feel it!
We go back to ringside

Tony: The following contest is a triple threat debut match scheduled for one fallThe lights dim somewhat, with a few white lights pointing at the top of the ramp. ‘Out of My Way' by Seether begins, and the lights flash in beat with the slow start to the song. Then suddenly the music kicks in and “Out of my way!!” The lights flash back to full brightness and Kulev comes out from behind the curtain. He pauses for a few seconds, looking out at the crowd with a focused stare. “Out of my -- Way!” Kulev starts down the ramp Tony: Introducing first, from Lafeyette, Louisianna, Kulev Mahu.Just as the song gets to the chorus, Kulev gets into the ring and he gets to the far corner and gets up on the second rope, posing a bit. The music fades out as Kulev steps down from the ropes and awaits his opponents. The camera pans around the arena, before panning to the entranceway as the intro to "8 Second Ride" by Chris LeDoux gallops through the sound system. A mixed reaction from the crowd doesn't appear to phase the man walking through the smoke to the top of the stage. Chet Watkins, equipped with cowboy hat, white t-shirt, jeans, and his black wrestling boots, stops for a moment, before sauntering down the rampway, pointing out to some of the fans, notably at a few voluptuous women, before walking up the stairs and stepping between the ropes. Tony: Introducing the 2nd competitor, from Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, Chet Watkins!Watkins steps up onto the middle turnbuckle, and points to the crowd as the chorus hits, with emphasis on the title of the song, before hopping down and stretching out on the ropes, removing his hat and shirt, and preparing for his final opponent to join him in the ring. The lights pulse and as a steady heartbeat comes over the P.A. As the heartbeat becomes increasingly faster, so do the lights, turning from white to a deep shade of red. Finally, after about 7 seconds, the lights shut completely off, submerging the arena into inky darkness. Out of the darkness, Shots of an M-16 come from the P.A. After 21 rapid fire rounds, and HUGE fireball shoots from the front of the titan tron with a deafening BOOM!. Tony: The following contest is the Six-Man Elimination Tag Match, which will go until one team has been completely eliminated! The fans cheer at the announcement, and "The Destination Is There" booms over the PA system, and the fans boo their lungs out as "The Excellent Gordie" Gordon Heath appears from behind the curtain, with "The Showstopper" Shaun Kilgore, Craig “Senior” Mueller, and George Dunpork following behind him. They taunt and laugh at the fans, with Shaun daring several ringside fans to try and hit him. Tony: Making their way to the ring first, accompanied by “The Excellent Gordie” Gordon Heath, at a combined weight of 796 pounds, “The Showstopper” Shaun Kilgore and the Sports Nutz, The Greatness!Shaun, Craig, and George continue to mock the crowd on their way down the ramp, but as they do so, they are jumped from behind by the Red Shield Mafia! Mannie is wielding a Singapore Cane, while Diamante Valentine has a baseball bat, and J.R. Kingston is content with a good ol' fashioned steel chair! Damien Walker grabs “The Excellent Gordie” by the scruff of the neck, and tosses him off the ramp headfirst into the barricade! The fans are booing extremely loud at this point! Chase: It looks like The Red Shield Mafia doesn't want to wait to fight here tonight!Harvey: It's not that they can't wait to fight, it's that they want to get an unfair advantage over their opponents here tonight!Chase: Well, the bell hasn't rung yet, so this is all legal!Mannie is working over the back of Shaun Kilgore with the Cane, while Kingston bashes the chair over Dunpork! Nero gives Mueller a couple of solid hits from the bat before pulling him back up to his feet and choking him with the bat as he heads towards the ring! Walker follows closely behind, and rolls into the ring as Valentine shoves Mueller up against the ring post! Walker gets down on his belly and holds the arms of Mueller, allowing Valentine to swing for the fences mercilessly! He nails Mueller hard in the gut with two home run swings before rolling him into the ring! Walker slides out as Nero slides in, and the ref calls for the bell while the rest of the members of both teams are still brawling on the outside, DING! DING! DING! The Greatness vs. The Red Shield Mafia
Harvey: Don't tell me that the ref's actually going to let this match start with all the chaos that's going on outside the ring!
Chase: The fact is that two legal men are in the ring, so that match starts!
Valentine quickly goes for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Craig gets his shoulder up, but just barely! He's coughing heavily as Nero pulls him up by the head, putting him in position to deliver an early Ego Trip, dropping Mueller right on his head! He pins him, 1 . On the outside, Young Mannie is still working away on Shaun Kilgore on the ramp, dropping the Cane and stomping the life out of his adversary, while Kingston has kicked Dunpork down to the ringside area. As Kingston raises the chair high above his head, Dunpork reaches up and gives him a punishing lowblow! Since the ref is focused on the action in the ring, Dunpork gets away with it, and pops up, onto the apron, unbeknownst to Valentine. . 2 . As Kingston raises the chair high above his head, Dunpork reaches up and gives him a punishing lowblow! Since the ref is focused on the action in the ring, Dunpork gets away with it, and pops up, onto the apron, unbeknownst to Valentine. . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Eliminated: Craig Mueller
Harvey: And just like that, we have our fist elimination.
Chase: It looks like the pre-emptive strike from the Red Shield Mafia is already paying dividends!
Before Valentine can even react, Dunpork rushes into the ring, and takes him down with the Quarterback Sack, laying his substantial girth right over the shoulders of Valentine, covering him for the 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Eliminated: Diamante Valentine
Harvey: And with that, we're back to even numbers!
Chase: Dunpork absolutely drilled Valentine, and then used his weight to his advantage! Who knew being such an overweight slob would be to his advantage!
At this point, Walker is yelling instructions to Kingston and Mannie to get into the ring, to double team Dunpork! Right as Dunpork gets up to his feet after the pin, they're on him like jackals, viciously clubbing him with rights and lefts, bringing him down to one knee! The ref is yelling for one of them to exit the ring, and begins the five count! Mannie begrudgingly follows the refs instructions, and steps out onto the apron as Kilgore and Gordon begin to come to on the outside. Kingston continues his assault on Dunpork, wearing him down some more before pulling him up by the head and shoving him into the corner! He then lifts Dunpork into a seated position on the top rope, and then pulls him onto his shoulders, yelling for Mannie to tag himself in before taking a few steps away from the corner with Dunpork still on his shoulders! Mannie tags himself in and climbs to the top, leaping off to deliver a liver-quivering Backstabber off the top rope!
Chase: Code Red! They just hit with the Code Red on Dunpork! He's done for sure!
Mannie's rubbing his knees a bit as he goes for the cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . George Dunpork wills his shoulder up! Mannie is pissed, and angrily tags J.R. Kingston back into the match. Mannie is rubbing his knees on the outside as Kingston works the midsection of Dunpork, giving him a series of Standing Elbow Drops!
Harvey: Those elbow drops don't seem to be having too much effect on Dunpork!
Chase: Well what do you expect!? Dunpork has a rather ample gut, so he has plenty of padding for his midsection!
Kingston goes for a cover, but doesn't even get a one count! He curses under his breath, but motions for Dunpork to get up! George Dunpork is a little slow getting to his feet, but as he gets up, Kingston runs at him like a Freight Train, Clotheslining Dunpork with such force that it sends both of them over the ropes and spilling to the outside! Dunpork lands on his shoulder, while Kingston falls flat on his back, winding him a bit! The ref begins the mandatory 10 count as Walker tries to encourage Kingston to get up!

4!
5!
Mannie is making his way towards his teammate, looking to help him up, but Kilgore slides into the ring, keeps running, and dives through the ropes, taking Mannie out with a Suicide Dive! The fans pop at the move, but now all four men are laid out on the arena floor!
6!
7!
Harvey: This isn't looking good for either Dunpork or Kingston, as both of them are still not yet to their feet!
Chase: They're gonna get counted out!
8!
Kingston is pushing himself up, while Dunpork reaches up and grabs a hold of the apron to pull himself up!
9!
Kingston is up to one knee, while Dunpork is about halfway up pulling himself up!
10! DING! DING! DING!
Eliminated: George Dunpork and J.R. Kingston

The ref restarts the 10 count, applying it to Kilgore and Mannie this time.
1!
2!
Kilgore gets up to his feet, and grabs Mannie by the head to pull him up!
3!
On the way up, Mannie gives his opponent a hard slug to the gut, and pops up to a vertical base, bouncing Kilgore's head off the apron before rolling him back into the ring, and sliding in himself! Mannie knows it's too early to get the win with a pin, but he goes for a cover anyways, hoping to force Kilgore to expend some energy, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore kicks out! Mannie is undeterred, and instead of getting frustrated, he mounts Kilgore, and begins to give him some Hammerfists to the bridge of the nose! Kilgore gets his hands up to defend himself, but not before Mannie causes his nose to bleed with the monstrous shots!
Harvey: Mannie's drawn blood here, causing Kilgore's nose to bleed! He may have broken is nose!
Chase: Whether it's broken or merely bloody, the fact is that with Kilgore's nose bleeding like that can only help Mannie, as it makes it harder for Kilgore to breath! Good strategy by Mannie!
Mannie continues to attempt to strike Kilgore's face, but Kilgore is protecting it quite well. Mannie dismounts, and pulls Kilgore up to his feet, giving him a few Kicks to the midsection on the way up! Once Kilgore is up to his feet, Mannie whips him towards the ropes! Kilgore reverses it, sending Mannie to the ropes instead, but on the rebound, Mannie drills him with a hard Lariat! Kilgore's a bit loopy as he gets back to his feet, allowing Mannie to pull him in and hit with a Cradle DDT! Mannie goes for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore gets a shoulder up!
Harvey: This match has been all Young Mannie since Kingston and Dunpork were eliminated!
Chase: Well, you could say that this match has been all the Red Shield Mafia since they got the jump on The Greatness early on!
Mannie stays focused, showing no signs of frustration as he gets back up and reaches down to grab Kilgore by the head! Kilgore swings his leg up and kicks Mannie on the crown of the head, sending him falling back! Kilgore uses this opportunity to get to his feet, and both him and Mannie get up at roughly the same time. Kilgore pulls Mannie in by the arm, and launches him with a Release Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Mannie gets back up to receive another Release Belly-to-Belly! Finally, Kilgore gets behind Mannie as he makes his way back up to his feet, and nails a Bridging German Suplex, pinning Mannie's shoulders to the mat, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mannie gets the kick out! Kilgore gets up to his feet, and gets a running start towards the ropes, reaching Mannie as he's getting up to hit Mr. 420 right in the face with a Running Big Boot! As Mannie's down on the mat, Kilgore keeps running towards the opposite ropes, and bounces off for momentum, hitting Mannie with the Rolling Thunder! Kilgore has his shoulders draped across Mannie's body nonchalantly as he hooks the leg with one arm, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mannie reverses it into a pin of his own, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore kicks out!
Chase: Mannie almost caught Kilgore there!
By this point, Gordon Heath has gotten back up and is pounding on the apron for Kilgore to stay focused! Walker is also on the outside, shouting instructions towards Mannie! Both men in the ring are up at the same time, and Kilgore goes for a Short Clothesline, but Mannie ducks under and turns around to surprise Kilgore with a Super Kick! The echo of the shot can be heard throughout the arena, and he goes for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore gets the shoulder up just in time!
Harvey: That Super Kick came out from nowhere, but it wasn't enough to keep Shaun Kilgore down!
Chase: The self-proclaimed “Showstopper” almost had his show stopped right there!
Mannie stays on the attack, pulling Kilgore up and whipping him into the corner, following up with a Body Splash! As Kilgore is dazed, Mannie pulls him up to the top rope, and clutches Kilgore around the waist, leaping off and delivering the Super Island Driver! (Sitout Side Powerslam) Kilgore's back hits the mat hard, but rather than going for the cover, Mannie makes his way back towards the turnbuckle, and climbs up it, pantomiming smoking a blunt before leaping off for a Double Foot Stomp! However, Kilgore rolls out of the way, and the velocity with which Mannie's feet land on the mat causes him to tweak his knee a bit! As Mannie holds his knee in pain, Kilgore pops up and gives him a Hiptoss, pulling off a Neckbreaker as Mannie is in midair, hitting with the F'N Neckbreaker! Mannie's neck is now in pain as Kilgore pulls him up by the arm, and drags him in for a Short Arm Clothesline! Kilgore keeps a hold of Mannie's arm, pulling him back up and delivering another Short Arm Clothesline! The Showstopper pulls it off two more times before pulling Mannie back up and pulling him in for a Fallaway Slam! Mannie goes flying across the ring, and hits the mat with such velocity that he ends up rolling out beneath the bottom rope, hitting the floor hard! Damien Walker goes over to check on Mannie, pulling him up to his feet as Kilgore grabs a hold of the top rope, slingshotting himself up and springing off the top rope to take both men out with a Springboard Spinning Wheel Kick to the Outside! The fans come to their feet and cheer for the reckless maneuver!
Harvey: What a move by Shaun Kilgore there! He's willing to do whatever it takes to win this match!
Chase: And Mannie somehow isn't? Seriously, Harv, aren't most wrestlers willing to do whatever it takes, unless their name is Pence Weatherlight?
Harvey: Don't be takin' cheap shots at our champion!
Kilgore is on fire, giving Mannie a few stomps as the ref counts away. Kilgore quickly rolls in and out of the ring to break the count, but unfortunately for him, as he reaches down to pull Mannie up, he receives a hard punch to the gut, hunching over in pain!
1!
This allows Mannie to get up and bounce Kilgore's head off the apron, causing him to fall backwards!
2!
Mannie then rushes up to the apron, and springs off the middle rope, performing a picture perfect Asai Moonsault that catches Kilgore as he tries to get to his feet! The fans are in awe of the move, but boo Mannie none the less!
3!
Mannie scowls at the fans as he rolls Kilgore back into the ring and goes for a cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore kicks out! Mannie goes right back to attacking the nose, giving Kilgore some hard Forearm Shots before going for another cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore kicks out again! Mannie can be heard yelling “Just stay down!” as the fans begin to clap and cheer for Kilgore!
Chase: Why are these idiots in the crowd cheering for Kilgore!?
Harvey: Well, despite his dirty tactics, Kilgore is surprisingly popular with the fans!
A loud “KILGORE! KILGORE! KILGORE!” chant is going amongst the Tacoma crowd, and its starting to get to Mannie! Gordon Heath leads the crowd in the chant on the outside as Mannie reaches down to pull Kilgore up! Kilgore pulls him down, going for a Quick Roll Up, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mannie rolls his shoulder out! Kilgore motions that this one is almost over, raising his hand in the air and signaling for the Ender! As Mannie gets to his feet, Kilgore reaches down and applies the Iron Claw, but before he can lift him up, Mannie gets a boot up to hunch him over! Mannie then pulls Kilgore in, and lifts him into a Vertical Suplex position, looking to go for the Death By Mannie! He nails it, spiking Kilgore's head into the mat, and going for the pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore somehow kicks out!
Chase: That was Mannie's finisher! How did Kilgore not stay down!
Harvey: Well, just like Mannie, Kilgore has a strong will to win, and he's not going down without a fight!
Mannie can't believe what just happened, but stays focused, pulling Kilgore back up and putting him in position for another DBM. Before Mannie can hoist him up, though, Kilgore gives him a few punches to the gut and shoves him off, grabbing him with the Iron Claw and lifting him up to deliver The Ender! Kilgore goes for the pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Young Mannie kicks out of The Ender!
Harvey: Oh my gosh! Young Mannie just kicked out of Shaun Kilgore's finisher as well!
Chase: Both of these men have got to wondering what it's going to take for them to beat the other!
Kilgore doesn't take his focus off of Mannie for a second, giving him a few nasty punches to the side of the head before pulling him back up and locking on the Iron Claw once more, lifting a dazed Mannie up for another Ender! This time, he hooks both legs, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winners: The Greatness Tony: Here are your winners, by pinfall, Shaun Kilgore, George Dunpork, and Craig Mueller, The Greatness!Kilgore stands in the middle of the ring victorious as “The Destination is There” plays! “The Excellent Gordie” Gordon Heath joins him in the ring and raises his hand high in the air as Damien Walker pulls Mannie out of the ring and begins to help him up the ramp. Harvey: Well that was one of the darnedest Elimination Tag Matches I've seen in some while. The eliminations came fast and furious early on, but in the end, it came down to Young Mannie and Shaun Kilgore, both of whom should be commended for their efforts here tonight!Chase: Unfortunately the Red Shield Mafia's brilliant tactics at the beginning of the match didn't pay off, as Shaun Kilgore secured the victory for The Greatness!

Making his way to the ring from Philadelphia Pennsylvania Jim Steel!!!Fireworks erupt and Jim Steel runs through them as AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" plays, and hits the ring carrying a steel chair. Fans give mixed reaction to him. Tony: And his opponent from Fort Lauderdale Florida, "The Lone Wolf" Michael Lively!!!AFI's "Misseria Cantare" begins to play The lights are dim, and the stage flickers with blue strobbing lights to the beat. Snow flakes begins to fall all through the arena, and the walkway is filled with smoke. The strobing light beat to the music, and then as the lights flicker again the figure of a hooded figure can be seen. The I am JESUS pose is given then the hood is flipped back reveling Michael Lively as blue sparks shoot up from the floor behind him. Lively then begins to walk the ramp to the music, rolls into the ring, walks to the ropes in between two ring posts, climbs the second, leaning against the top, holding his title in the air, as snow falls around him, and the ring glows blue. Lively drops down strike the pose again embracing the overwhelming boo's from the crowd. Michael Lively vs. "Hardcore" Jim Steel APW Extreme Championship
The bell sounds as both Lively & Steel meet in the middle of the ring as we see the height difference between the two men. Lively nails Steel with a right hand as Steel fires back with one of his own knocking Lively to the mat. Lively gets to his feet and gets knocked down once again by Steel before steel picks Lively up as he tosses him into the corner. Steels charges at the corner but Lively moves out of the way as Steel collides chest first into the corner Lively grabs Steel from behind as he connects with a DDT. Lively covers Steel quickly 1 . . . 2 . . Steel powers out sending Lively flying through the air as he lands chest first on the mat
Darren Harvey: That had to hurt. Steel just tossed Lively like he was a fly.
Steel gets to his feet as Lively does the same. Steel connects with a boot to the face of Lively putting him back on the mat. Steels uses his foot covering the chest of Lively 1 . . . 2 . . . Lively pushes the foot off of him as Steel gets upset picking Lively up but Lively counters with a jawbreaker to Steel. Lively follows it up with a dropkick to Steel as the big man is still standing.
Johnny Chase: What’s it going to take to bring this big man down?
Lively looks as Steel in disgust as he finally has had enough and chop blocks Steel from behind bringing the big man down to a knee. Lively grabs Steel and bulldogs him into the mat as he rolls him over and makes the cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Steel kicks out. Lively looks at the referee and checks to make sure it was a two count. The referee tells him it was a two as he turns his attention back to Steel whose getting to his feet
Darren Harvey: Lively thought he had the three count there but he was a bit off.
Lively picks up Steel but Steel shoves Lively away from him as Lively bounces off the ropes Steel catches Lively off the ropes and connects with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker! As Lively shows the pain shooting through his body, Steel follows up with the pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Lively kicks out!
Chase: We almost had a new Xtreme Champion there!
Harvey: I'll be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing that happen at all!
Steel gets upset with the referee and argues with him about the count as Lively slowly gets to his feet. Lively grabs Steel turning him around as he connects with a forearm shot to Steel. Lovely connects with a second forearm shot before bouncing off the ropes as Steel goes for a clothesline but Lively ducks it and hits the ropes a second time Lively comes off the ropes a second time and connects with a neck breaker. Lively grabs a hold of the Steel Chair that Steel brought with him to the ring, smashing Steel in the face well over a dozen times, with each shot echoing through the arena! Steel looks to be out cold as Lively continues to pummel him with the chair!
Harvey: That has got to be at least 20 chair shots from Lively there! The ref should stop this one!
Chase: This is an Xtreme Championship match! There shouldn't be any stoppages!
Steel is wearing the crimson mask as Lively throws the chair down into the mat. Lively then grabs Steel, setting him up near a corner as he climbs up to the top rope. Lively leaps off the top rope and connects with the Prelude into a cover as the referee makes the count, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! [color=Harvey: It may not have been long, but it sure was violent, particularly the ending there, where Lively lit Jim Steel up just about two dozen steel chair shots to the face! That was brutal![/color] Chase: Jim Steel is going to need more than a few Advils to deal with the headache he's going to have once he comes to!Lively strikes the JESUS pose in the middle of the ring as another hype video for Test for the Best is shown.

Harvey: Now, ladies and gentlemen, do we have a match for you, one of our three main event matches here tonight. Sally Talfourd and Leila Farrahi have lost none of the disdain they held for one another coming into the APW, and now they have their chance to settle their differences.Chase: That's right Darren, here's one match that I've been looking forward to beyond the obvious reasons. I think this match is going to surprise a few people tonight.Harvey: You're not wrong Johnny. This is a match the two women have been headed towards for just short of a year now. And I for one can't wait to see how this ends. The lights cut out, and the crowd's attention is captured in a moment. A blue hue comes over the fans, and the cheers start already. 'Starstrukk' by 3OH!3 hits the speakers, but the crowd just about drowns the music out. As the song bursts to life, out races Sally Talfourd from out the back, racing to the front of the stage. She stops, stands there, taking it all in. The crowd is on their feet for her. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd that hangs over the rails for her. She makes the ring, rolls underneath the ropes and comes up on her knees in the centre of the ring. She waits, again, taking in the crowd as the lights come up. She jumps to her feet and darts up the corner to pose for the crowd. Flashes of photos go off before she comes down, raises her hand once more in thanks, then turns her attention back to the stage. The arena returns to a murmur, Sally walking around in the ring, doing her stretches. Then 'Astronaut' by Amanda Palmer comes over the arena, the lights fading down low. Suddenly a green light envelopes the crowd, who erupt into a chorus of boos as Leila Farrahi walks out to the stage. At the top of the ramp she stands, looks out over the crowd then down at Sally. She looks up above her, mouths some words, then raises her hands slightly as the lights return to normal. She walks down to the ring, ringing her hands as she goes; focused on the match, ignoring the nobodies boo-ing her as she passes them. She walks up the steps, through to the ring and looks to the skies and again speaks some words. After a moment's pause, she casts a mocking look over the crowd before she finally meets Sally's stares. The two stand there, neither willing to break off. Leila removes her khimar, folds it over and hands it to the official. She flicks her hair out a few times then rolls her shoulders over a few times. Both women's eye are still locked, and the ref intervenes, turning Sally and sending her to one corner. Leila makes her way to the opposite as Tony Ferrari takes centre-ring. Tony: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall. In this corner, weighing in at one-hundred and forty pounds, standing five-foot ten inches, hailing from Seattle, Washington: this is Sally Talfourd!Sally takes a few steps forward to the centre of the ring, raises her hand to the crowd's cheers. She mouth something to Leila, points at the mat, and takes a few steps back. Leila ignores her as she walks up and down her side of the ring. Tony: One in the opposite corner, weighing in at one-hundred and thirty pounds, standing in at five-foot seven inches, hailing from Tehran, Iran: this is Leila Farrahi!Leila takes step forward as the jeers start up, the crowd not very appreciative of Leila and her recent actions. She stares Sally down once more as Tony Ferrari exits, leaving the ref to pat the women down. He goes over Sally no problem, who throws some more words Leila's way. When the ref goes to pat Leila down, he has second thoughts. She barks at him to get away, and he just calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Leila Farrahi vs Sally Talfourd
Both women walk out of their corner, straight to the centre of the ring, The go toe-to-toe, measuring each other up. Sally says some words. Leila joins in, and they are nose-to-nose. Sally raises her hands and backs off with a smile when she's happy getting under Leila's skin. They start to circle each other, then quickly lock up. There's a struggle for the advantage, Sally starts to leverage Leila back before Leila breaks off the holds and walks away. Sally is left in the centre of the ring, hands on her hips and smiling. Sally yells something Leila's way, which only sees Leila step back into the centre and into a slap across the face.
Leila reels back, but darts back in, arms round the waist of Sally, quick to get behind Sally, then slams her down into the mat. Leila holds the lock around Sally's waist, Sally is desperate to get free and off the mat. She scrambles towards the ropes, rolls over, onto her side, sits up. Leila is still attached. Sally makes the ropes, pulls herself into them. The ref calls the count, Leila is off at the 3 and backs off with her hands raised. Sally is up to her feet and looks to Leila with a grin and a nod of recognition. Leila stares holes into her head, then sends some words her way. Sally smiles back at Leila, then starts to roll her arms over.
Harvey: The intense hatred between these two is evident!
Chase: Well, these two have been going at it for the better part of a year! In a feud like that, you don't just sorta dislike your opponent, you know?
The women start to circle the ring again, then lock up. Sally to an arm wringer, arm round the back, into a headlock, pulls Leila down to the mat, holding the lock. Side headlock take down by Sally. Leila tries to force Sally off with forearms, then rolls back far enough gets Sally's shoulders down. 1 . . . 2 . . . out. Sally pushes back up, keep Leila down on the mat with the headlock. Leila shoulders down 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out. Leila works both of them to their feet, though still in the headlock. She backs into the ropes. Leila tries to push off, Sally skids down to the mat, holding onto Leila and bringing her down with her. Sally pulls Leila back to her feet. Attempt at a suplex from Leila, but Sally weights forward, falls down and rolls over the mat, holding the headlock and dragging Leila down with her. Both now back down on the mat. Leila forces her way up again, both are on their feet. Leila finally pushes Sally off, into the ropes, but Sally is back with a shoulder block, sending Leila back down to the mat. The fans are chanting Sally's name by this point!
Harvey: And a thunderous Shoulder Block from Sally there! This Tacoma crowd is firmly behind her!
Chase: Well, it is her home state. Still, Biggs didn't get this reaction here in Washington!
Leila is up and put straight back into a headlock by Sally. Headlock takeover by Sally, Leila back down on the mat. Leila struggles to get free, rolls further over again, gets a pin on Sally. 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out. Leila works her way up and get Sally with a blow to the gut. Leila backs into the ropes, pushes Sally off. But Sally holds the lock, skids back down to the mat, and here we are yet again. Leila in a headlock, Sally in control. Leila works her way back up to the feet again, pushes Sally back into the corner. The ref calls for Sally to let go of the lock. She lets go at the 3, arms raised. Leila backs out quickly, a look of anger and frustration so far that she's being out wrestled. Leila backs away as she stares down Leila, Sally checks her hair with the free moment.
Chase: What disrespect from Sally Talfourd there, checking her hair in the middle of a match! This is a beauty pageant, this is wrestling!
Sally comes out the corner, and Leila is in for a quick lock around the waist. Reversed, and Sally has Leila locked up from behind. Straight up into another headlock. Another side headlock take down. Leila, stuck again, pulls at Sally's hair, lets go at the 4. Back to their feet. Leila forces Sally's arms up and over, quick as a flash is around her waist from behind. Sally's quicker, reverses and is behind. Leila whips around with an elbow, straight to Sally's jaw. She goes reeling. Leila into the ropes and shoulder blocks Sally to the mat. Back to the ropes, off them. Sally rolls out the way on Leila's first pass, the is up when Leila comes off the ropes a second time, and takes her to the mat with a high hip lock. Sally quickly pulls out Leila's arm as she is back-down on the mat, ties up her arm in a short arm scissors. Leila tries to free her arm to no avail. Pulls Sally's hair, lets go at the 4. Leila's shoulders are down, 1 . . . 2 . . . out.
Leila, still in the scissors, nips up, and over onto her knees, Sally, stuck with the hold, has her shoulders down. 1 . . . 2 . . . out with a reverse, rolling back over and back to the original position with the scissors. Leila's shoulders down 1 . . . 2 . . . shoulder up. Leila pulls Sally's hair. Lets go at the 4 again. Leila rolls up, reverses again, Sally's shoulders down. 1 . . . 2 . . . out. Sally with another reverse, rolls over back to the starting position. Leila reverses again, rolls over, forgets the pin by quickly scooping Sally up with her free arm, showing off her strength. Leila goes for the clothesline, Sally ducks, hooks the arms and pins Leila with a backslide. 1 . . . 2 . . . out.

Chase: These two know each other so well that they are extremely evenly matched!
Leila out of the pin, up, and turns into a headlock from Sally. Side headlock takeover again sends Leila back to the mat. Leila slams the mat with her free arm, a sign of frustration. Sally's face shows the determination she's carrying this match. Sally tightens the lock. Back to their feet. Leila drives Sally to the corner, hard. Ref calls for Sally to let go. Sally is off at the 2 and the ref forces his way between them. Leila reaches over, striking Sally with fists to the face. The ref is out of the way, and the women are blow for blow until Sally wraps an arm around Leila's head, spins her into the corner and hist her with forearms. Leila out, beats Sally back to the corner with chops. Sally shields herself, then gets an arm around Leila's head, hooks a leg over hers. Leila wraps her arms around Sally's waist, and we're at a stand still with the ref trying to break it up.
Harvey: We're at a stand still, with neither woman wanting to give an inch!
It's an aggressive series of blow for blow as the women struggle to get he upper hand and get out of the corner. Leila gets Sally spun around, hits her over the back of the head and send her face down into the mat. Leila is quick, tries to take out Sally's legs and work them over with an ankle lock. She goes down for the scissors, but gets rolled over by Sally, who quick to get out of that. Leila is on the ropes, Sally heads to the opposite set, comes off and clothes Leila over the ropes with Sally following. Both are out on the mats, trying to get their strength back from the dizzying exchanges.
Sally's up first, looks around, and knows how far she's going to have to go in the match. She clears the nearest announcer's table, then rolls back into the ring to break up the count. When she's back, Leila is up and send strikes her way. Sally is on the back foot as chop after chop. Harvey: This Leila Farrahi is just sick! Look at how she's smiling at Sally's misfortune!
Chase: How dare you call Leila sick! She's just different! There's nothing wrong with that!
Leila has a chance to regain herself, she rolls into the ring, the the ref counting out Sally now. Leila sees Sally is getting up, so she rolls out the ring and starts to stalker her. Leila with blows to Sally's face now, adding on from the Blood Flow. Fists send Sally backwards and we see that the first blood has been spilled as it starts to run out Sally's nose. Sally is able to sit up, but doesn't get any favours. Leila is behind her and pulls her arms back into a sitting surfboard. Sally struggles for room to move, tries to pull her arms forward with her strength. The crowd cheers her on, she nearly gets there, but Leila rests back and pulls Sally's arms further back. Sally starts to edge her way to the mat with her legs, finally gets there and gets a leg on the rope. The ref calls for Leila to let go, which she does at the 4. Harvey: And now folks it’s the match you’ve been waiting for… salivating for, the match that’s brought out the crazies here tonight I mean listen to this crowd partner! They're going to blow the roof off of the Tacoma Dome!Chase: Yeah, I hear them. Level One and Bryan Payne… the alpha dog of APW vs the big mouth new guy…Harvey: The guy with the heart of a champion vs the guy who ‘used’ to be a champion! This is our second of three main event bouts tonight!Chase: Oh give me a break you and I both know that Level One was screwed out of that champion ship just like he’s been screwed by management out of his rematch. The camera pans out to show the crowd in a state of near frenzy chanting “Lester Taps” at the top of their lungs total pandemonium as a small minority of the fans are waving “The Only Champion” signs around as well. Tony: The following contest, is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Tokyo Japan… he stands 6’1” 215 lbs… “The Revelation” Bryan Paaaayne!Bryan appears from underneath the tron, a little smirk displayed from underneath his shades. He pauses looking out over the crowd while he says something that's lost in the noise from the people and the music and then starts to head down towards the ring. He pauses along the way to clasp a few hands of fans hanging out over the edge of the crowd barrier. Bryan grabs a hold of the bottom rope and leverages himself up onto the ring apron, turning around to face the ramp where his opponent will soon appear and points back towards it. He looks out over the crowd again and waves his arms into the air encouraging them to be louder still, and then grins as he ducks under the top rope and into the ring slapping his chest with a single fist several times as he waits for his opponent. “FEEL THE PAYNE FEEL THE PAYNE” Bryan walks over to the turnbuckle and hauls himself up to the top pointing out into the crowd with a little bit of a laugh and then points back up the ramp towards where everyone is waiting expectantly for Level One to appear. Harvey: Well, Payne certainly looks confident tonight. These are two guys that you could argue have been on a collision course ever since Bryan came to APW two months ago and we get to see it live tonight!Chase: Collision is the right word. But the impact is going to be all felt by one Bryan Payne.Tony: And his opponent from Toronto, Onterio, Canada, standing at 6’7” 273 lbs.. he is… LEVEL ONE!Put You On Game- By Lupe Fiasco blasts the PA system, as Level-One steps up on-top of the ramp. Red smoke swirls beneath him, and a string of red and blue pyro shoots up into the air he raises both of his titles high in the air. Level-One slowly begins to walk down the ramp, being booed loudly by the crowd. Level-One stops before eyeing down a fan, mocking the fan in the process. Level-One turns, and climbs up onto the apron. He climbs up turn-buckle, hoisting his title high in the air. Level-One hops down, and awaits for the fight in-front of him. The two men step up towards one another and Lester reaches down gesturing to the t-shirt he’s wearing that still stained with Bryan’s dried blood and gets a little half smirk in return. Chase: And there he is, the once and future APW Champion… ready to claim another victim.Harvey: I’m not so sure about that partner. Bryan Payne is a different kind of cat, and so far has seemed completely impervious to Level One’s mind games.Chase: Seemed to be is the key there Harvey, this guy is locked up inside I can FEEL it.DING! DING! DING! Level-One vs. Bryan Payne
As the bell rings Bryan and One take several quick steps to close on each other and grab a hold of each other hammering each other with closed fists back and forth, One’s sheer mass working to slowly force Bryan backwards until with a final shove sends him stumbling back into the ropes. He pushes off them charging back towards One who times it perfectly picking him up in a scoop slam and sending him crashing down to the mat with bone jarring force. One looks up to the crowd then, as Bryan doubles up the impact seeming to drive all the air clean out of him, and laughs a bit shaking his head as he grabs a hold of Bryan forcing him up to his feet. Once he gets Bryan vertical again he lines him up with the turnbuckle and plants his shoulder into his stomach and charges forward ramming Bryan back first into the corner. The crowd begins to boo in a fever pitch now as One straightens up again and Bryan falls down to his knees his hands grabbing at the mat as if not entirely sure where he is.
Chase: Well that was quick! So much for the hype of Bryan Payne! Hahaha
Bryan is struggling to get up now, still trying to catch his breath as One begins to taunt him yelling something at him as he tries to push himself up kicking his arms out from under him so he falls back to the mat. This is repeated several times before One seems to get tired of the game and winds his leg back sending his boot slamming into Bryan’s ribs, who doubles over clutching his gut as he is flipped over onto his back by the force of the blow. Not yet content, One squats down next to Bryan and wraps his hands around his throat squeezing both both hands further cutting off his supply of air, his face turning a bright red in front of the cameras as he gasps for air.
“How does this FEEL Bryan… huh?!” screams One as he looks again up to the crowd that seems to have reached a fever pitch of disappointment and disgust as the ref beings a five count.
1…. 2…… 3……..
Harvey: Level One is choking the life out of Bryan Payne right now. I confess I’m a complete loss this is not the match we all came here expecting to see I don’t think. I’m forced to conclude that maybe Level One was right all along and Bryan Payne really was over hyped….
Chase: You’re damn right he was. This guy came in here saying he was going to take on the best in the business and look at him… just a deer in the headlights!
4…..
One lets go holding up his empty hands just a split second before the five count was reached. The ref mutters darkly at Lester who just kind of laughs a bit and as he stands up sends another savage kick into Bryan’s side who contorts again and rolls over several times to put some distance between them.
One doggedly follows him his hands closing on either side of Bryan’s head as he forces him back to his feet and sends him in an Irish Whip bouncing off the rope and careening back towards One who has raised a massive foot aiming for a Big Boot to take Bryan’s head clean off. At the last moment, Bryan gives a little jump, seeming to fall backwards his body extending as both feet slam into One’s planted leg taking it clean out from under him, the big man slamming hard to the canvas as the crowd leaps to it’s feet with a roar of approval.
Harvey: And out of no where a match saving counter from Bryan Payne. That is the first sign of offense that Bryan has been able to put together tonight. Let’s see if he can build on it.
Bryan lays on the mat after the drop kick desperately trying to catch his breath, one arm still held around his middle as he looks over to where Level One is swearing profusely working his leg as though trying to get a catch out of it.
Chase: I think Bryan did that on purpose!
Harvey: What do you mean?
Chase: That’s the same knee Sally Talfourd went to work on a couple weeks ago!
Bryan has flipped over from his back into his hands and knees crawling over to where Level One has regained his composure and fires a punch into the side of One’s head that knocks him to the side. He recovers quickly though and fires one back that grazes the top of Bryan’s head and seems to knock him loopy but One realizes too late that Bryan was really going for that leg. He uses his own knee as a fulcrum pinning One’s leg to the mat while his hands grab a-hold of his foot front and back apply a knee bar and draws a scream from One who jerks for a few moments and then begins to hammer on Bryan’s back and shoulders trying to break his death grip. For what seems like minutes the contest continues until finally One is able to batter Bryan away from his leg and crawl away rolling for a moment as he clutches at his leg, looking at Bryan with a look of pure hatred as he watches Bryan weakly clutching the ropes in the corner trying to get up.
Snarling One gets back to his feet and charges at Bryan setting him up for a knee to take his head off when at the last moment Bryan rolls under the bottom rope sending One crashing into the turnbuckles. He seems to wobble a bit in mid air, the force he’d built up intending to take out on Bryan instead transferred to him and after a moment he falls over dazed. Panting on the outside of the ring, the fans explode into a series of cheers as they see Bryan’s hands extend over the ring apron and his tired and beaten body leverage itself back into the ring. He half walks, half lumbers over to the corner that One is still laying beside and grabs the leg he earlier worked on and uses the ropes to trap it and then starts to climb the turnbuckle.
Harvey: Man oh man.. Bryan is still staying in this match by the skin of his teeth but I have to wonder what he’s doing now.
Chase: He’s desperate… and a move like this this early….
One begins to come around just in time to watch Bryan jump down, not in a big maneuver, but with his whole body right on the knee of the trapped leg, drawing a howl of equal parts rage and pain from Level One as he struggles to free his leg which is still trapped in the ropes. The ref roars over to Bryan forcing him back and screaming at Bryan who lets himself be taken away while the ref goes over to check on Lester and free the leg. As the ref is checking on One he grabs him, shoving the ref halfway across the ring to get him away from him and then charges at Bryan, but halfway there is wounded leg gives out sending him toppling down onto the mat and the crowd screams it’s approval. “FEEL THE PAYNE FEEL THE PAYNE” And a slow smile forms on Bryan’s lips as he motions to the crowd waving his hands up into the air for them to get a little bit louder.
Now it’s Bryan’s turn to charge towards Level One again who rolls to the side just in time sending Bryan running clear across the ring and into the far rope, on the way back One jumps on his good leg sending a shoulder tackle into Bryan that sends him shooting to the side knocked off course like a rogue pinball as he flies through the air and tumbles to the mat hard. The air seems to go out of the crowd as both men lay on the mat for a few moments trying to recover. One seems to do so first, now back to his feet, though limping visibly, he goes over to Bryan positioning his legs around his shoulders and then clutching his lower body he lefts Bryan up and then power bombs him into the mat. Bryan’s arms flop to the side, his eyes rolling up a bit as One growls and picks Bryan up again delivering a second powerbomb that if anything seems even stronger than the first and then lets himself fall to his knees, leaving Bryan’s legs up on his shoulders as he pushes his hands down on Bryan’s chest for the count.
Chase: And just like that… the Payne is over..
1….
2…………
Harvey: This is it…
Bryan’s whole body seems to contort twisting to one side his shoulder coming up off the mat to the disbelief of Level One and the delight of the crowd. Lester grabs the ref by the shirt dragging him close sticking three fingers into his face. “That was three! THREE!” The ref shakes his hand and returns two and is given another shove for his efforts.
Harvey: How in the hell did Bryan Payne kick out of that pin? Level One has got over fifty pounds on him and after those powerbombs and the punishment he’s taken in this match so far…
Chase: Doesn’t matter.. just delaying the inevitable and asking for more punishment.
Level One seems inclined to agree as he bends over setting Bryan up for another powerbomb when Bryan seems to come alive again his legs locking around Lester’s neck in a figure four headlock. Gasping and stumbling back he finds that Bryan has gotten a hold of one of his arms extending it away from his body by the wrist to increase the pressure of the hold. Level One struggles with the arm, but Bryan’s whole body legs, and upper body are pinning that arm it doesn’t go anywhere and so he struggles as they fall as one to the mat, One’s one good arm grabbing at Bryan’s legs trying to relieve the pressure on his neck.
Harvey: Defiance Lock! That’s the signature move of the Defiance Reborn stable for those of you who don’t know… I’m sure Georgie Nickles and AC Thunder of SCW and Experts fame are pleased to see it applied to the guy who dismissed them this week.
Bryan is twisting his body cracking up the pressure being applied to One’s neck forcing the ref to check on him several times each time stumbling back from the stream of negative curses One screams in his face. It takes a couple of minutes before One is able to work himself up to his knees, Bryan still maintaining the hold though he sees what is about to happen as One struggles to get his legs underneath him. He tries to stand up and then screams as the combined weight of them both makes his leg give out on him and the pair fall again as one to the mat.
Harvey: I think One’s knee might be severely damaged.. That could spell disaster for Level One if Bryan makes good on his threat to apply the Payne Killer tonight…
Chase: Please, if it IS hurt. One is way too ring savvy to let that happen.
One struggles coughing a bit as the camera zooms in on his face which is now the one that’s showing signs of getting puffy and red. He struggles using his weight and upper body strength to leverage himself back up to his knees as the crowd again begins to chant “LESTER TAPS LESTER TAPS LESTER TAPS!” And then leans forward pinning Bryan’s shoulders to the mat again.
1…
2…..
Bryan snarls in frustration releasing the hold and throwing his legs back over his head to roll backwards on his shoulder away from one, the only way he could avoid being pinned was to release the hold. The crowd lets out a disappointed groan and seems to flop back down in their seats as One grabs at his neck the little snarl of fury returning to his features with every breath he takes. The two men seem to stare at each other for a few minutes, Bryan now back on his feet, obviously still feeling the effects of those power bombs, and one of his arms still held across his middle…. And One extends one hand over to the ropes, using them to take weight off the knee as he stands and then limps as the two circle each other. And then as if by mutual consent they head right towards each other firing lefts and rights at each other once again. And again Level One’s size and strength tell forcing Bryan back and then shoving him away… as he comes off the ropes this time though it’s Level One who gets the surprise in the form of an Enziguri Kick that slaps him right in the back of the head sending him falling down to one knee a dazed look in his eyes.
Harvey: Good Night, Elvis has left the building! Did you see the elevation Bryan Payne got on that enziguri kick?!
Chase: Ok, OK.. even I will admit that was pretty impressive. But no one ever said Bryan Payne was not a great athlete, but he’s not in One’s league inside that ring.
One seems to bend forward a little bit palm pressed to his forehead as he gives himself a shake, not realizing that Bryan is still on the move behind him bouncing off the rope again as he comes roaring forward flipping over One’s back and grapping his head on the way down in a running neck snap that drives One’s forehead right into the canvas and then snaps his body backwards from the force.
Harvey: Uh oh… looks like Bryan might be building some momentum here, this could be dangerous for Level One!
Bryan stands up again and points out to the crowd leaping backwards slamming into One’s middle with a standing moonsault and then bounces off clutching his own ribs and stomach from the punishment he took earlier.
Chase: AAAnd there it is… live by the flash.. die by the flash in the pan!
Now it’s One who seems completely out of it, unfocused as he tries to regain his equalibrum, Bryan crawls over grabbing his legs and trying to wave them around his own.
Harvey: Oh here it comes, he’s setting up the Payne Killer!
One comes alive at the last moment reaching up and grabbing Bryan by the head and shoulders then falling backwards rolling him over into a pin.
1….
Kickout!
Bryan jerks away leaving One gasping for breath and slamming the mat again thinking he had the match won. The two men look at each other again with increasingly tired looks and struggle back to their feet.
Harvey: You have to admit Chase, this match is turning into a classic!
Chase: I have to admit nothing.
As the two continue to get up Bryan takes a lumbering leap forward delivering a drop kick to the center of One’s chest that sends him stumbling back into the ropes and then he charges back to meet a Bryan who has sprung back to his feet lightning fast and leaps clear over One’s head grabbing his head on the way down and forcing it down to his shoulder as he falls back to the other side in a flip neckbreaker.
Harvey: PAYNE OF DEATH!
The impact is almost ring shattering as the crowd roars its approval as Bryan makes his first cover attempt of the night.
1….
2…….
3…
A split second before the ref announces three the shoulder snaps up, he waves off the count declaring the shoulder came up before his hand hit the mat and Bryan falls back and buries his face in his hands in total disbelief.
Harvey: I thought it was over!
Chase: I… what… GET UP LEVEL ONE DAMNIT..
Harvey: Problem?
Chase: uhhh…
Harvey:…. Chase?
Chase: ok ok.. I bet a hundred bucks on One happy?!
Bryan forces himself back to his feet and goes on the run again towards One, but we’ll never know what he intended to do because at the last moment One lunges forward, again on that one good leg and connects with a clothesline that takes Bryan off his feet leaving him flat on his back in the middle of the ring.
Chase: And just like that Level One takes back over with authority!
One gives his head another shake and walks over to Bryan, picking him up and then locking his arms around Bryan’s middle leveraging him over into a belly to belly suplex. Once again the force of the impact seems to drive all the air out of Bryan’s lungs and he lays there gasping like a landed fish.
Harvey: I have to admit it looks like Level One has fully regained control here. But Bryan Payne is really made this a close match!
As One stands back up he starts to stomp and kick Bryan sending him rolling try to get away from the assault finally backing him up into a corner where he shoves his boot up under his chin against his neck and grabs a hold of the ropes leaning back with his weight as he tries to choke Bryan again. The ref grabs one of One’s arms pointing and threatening him and then starts to make a count stopping once again at four as he breaks the hold and bends down pulling Bryan out of the corner and hooking his arms around behind his back as he looks out the crowd with a little smirk.
Chase: Oh by here it comes…
Up and over Bryan is lifted and then slammed back down to the mat with the Level Advance, flopping over onto his stomach unmoving. One grins and stands up again using his boot to shove Bryan over onto his back and leaves it in the center of his chest for the count.
Harvey: What arrogance!
1….
2……..
Chase: Call it a job well done.
Bryan’s shoulder shoots up again and Level One loses his balance a bit as he stumbles back the knee catching again as he sees Bryan looking up at him with a little sneer of his own on his face and does a double take.
Harvey: He kicked out!
Chase: No fu-
Harvey: Language! These two men have just shrugged off the biggest heat each of them have in each other’s arsenal!
Shrugged off might be a bit of a stretch as even Level One suddenly looks like he’s aged ten years over the course of the match, both men moving with a kind of weary determination now. They meet in the center of the ring yet again exchanging a flurry of blows and once again Bryan his hammered back, the physicality of One too much for him to handle in a brawl. He stumbles back into the corner where he is followed by One who hammers with several more times before dragging him out of the corner and sending him shooting into the ropes with an Irish whip. As Bryan comes flying back he bends over a bit sending Bryan up and over with a high back body drop…. But Bryan continues the flip and somehow lands on his feet! There is a moment where One limps forward a few more steps unaware of the save and suddenly Bryan leaps onto One’s back his arms locking around his neck and his legs and feet around the middle of his body and falls back with One Sleeper with body scissor MMA-like maneuver applied.
One gasps grabbing at the arm cutting of his air and trying to fire elbows into Bryan’s hurt ribs and Bryan extends his body as much as he can putting terrific pressure on One’s neck and lower back moving his body in an undulating manner constantly pulling the bones of the lower back of the big man apart.
Harvey: And somehow some way Bryan has found a way back into this match again! He’s been called the “Man who cannot be pinned” and this is why it takes an act of God to keep this guy down on the mat!
Chase: He’s said before he’s stubborn. I think he’s just too stupid to know when he’s been beat and stay down to let it end.
The ref checks on One whose arms seem to drop away from Bryans who snarls in a half triumph and jerks his whole body to increase the pressure. It seems to bring One around fractionally and he starts to fight back again, rolling to one side and firing his elbow back and then to the other trying from that angle. Finally he plants both his feet on the mat and leans backwards trying to get Bryan’s shoulder on the mat. The ref is now on the mat on his stomach watching both men closely, for Lester to tap, and for Bryan’s shoulders to hit the mat.. and then both of his shoulders do!
1…
2…..
Bryan manages to roll One over to the right just enough to get his shoulder off and One seems to collapse just a bit, exhausted more so by the effort that attempt to get Bryan to break the hold again took.
Harvey: Bryan really has that hold locked in there tight… I’m almost surprised One wasn’t able to tear him off…
Chase: He’s got his whole body wound around him, his legs taking away the air, the neck he’s already worked on with that figure four and the knee making it tough for One to get leverage. I have to admit Bryan has attacked Level One, broken him down to a greater extent than I thought he could be broken down this way.
One gives a scream of effort rolling back over and again Bryan’s shoulders touch the mat.
1…..
Bryan manages to roll over again just getting his shoulder up but the move opens his ribs up finally to a couple savage elbows from One that make him release with a scream of his own grabbing his middle as he rolls away his feet kicking against the mat.
Chase: OH! That got ‘em…
One rolls over onto his stomach clutching at his neck and looks over to Bryan. For the briefest of moments it looks like he’s confused, unsure of what to try next to beat him, but then the look is swallowed by one of pure hatred as he shoves himself to his feet and slams a forearm down across the center of Bryan’s back. Bryan arches, his hands grabbing at One’s legs trying to stand up, but no sooner does he get one leg underneath them than another forearm is slammed across his back hammering him back down to the mat, and again… and again… and again he tries to get up only to be slammed back to the man.
Harvey: One just keeps hitting Bryan and he keeps trying to get up… STAY DOWN PAYNE… You’ve done enough!
Even one seems to grow tired of the game switching tact as Bryan tries to get up again and bends down over his back grabbing him around the waist and lifting him up and over into a gutwrench powerbomb and goes for another cover.
Chase: This is it…
1….
2……..
Chase: YES YES YES!
As the ref’s hand comes down Bryan’s shoulder comes up off the mat again. And One stands up looking at Bryan and then the ref and then slumps back over against the ropes wiping his hand down the front of his face to clear it of the gallon of sweat that seems to have built up there.
Harvey: Great God… is there a way for this match to end at all?!
One gets up to his feet and picks Bryan up again Whipping him into one corner and charging along behind him his arm extended for a clothesline. As Bryan reaches the turnbuckle his feet leave the mat and hit the second stopping his forward momentum and flipping it backwards into mid air, his body laying out into vertical body press that slams One in the chest. For the briefest of moments it looks like One is going to power out of it into a slam and then his leg gives out again and both men slam down to the mat as the crowd once again is dragged kicking and screaming back into the match.
1….
One powers out of the pin almost immediately and Bryan fires several punches into the side of his head and face before twisting away grabbing One’s legs and weaving them around his own… Lester reaches up again grabbing Bryan, trying to duplicate the roll up he tried before but another hammering blow from Bryan sends his back down to the mat and then he locks the Japanese style figure four in and falls backwards his other leg locking around one’s foot applying pressure to the already injured leg. A terrific yell goes up and One thrashes around on the mat grabbing at Bryan’s legs trying to break the hold and then giving up on that trying to roll back and forth to reverse the pressure but Bryan defeats that in a novel way… my firing a fist right into One’s already hurt knee increasing the pain immeasurably.
Chase: How are these two guys still going at it?
Harvey: Heart… will… neither one of them want to lose this match they don’t know HOW to lose matches Chase.
One is screaming now as he reaches towards the ropes that seem to him to be a mile away. Reaching back as far as he can he drags Bryan, still holding on tightly a few inches closer to them. In response Bryan rolls around back and forth jarring the knee adding pressure… One’s hand seems to hover over the mat like he’s going to tap and then with another scream he reaches out dragging them another few inches closer to the ropes. He leans backwards stretching with his height but still coming up short distracted again by another wracking stab of pain as his knee is contorted beyond normal human endurance.
The crowd’s chatting has picked up again the “Lester Taps” having the perverse effect of seeming to give One the pure anger to push against the mat again forcing them back another few inches and then stops his fist clenching in pain. His elbows slam against the mat with his fists clenched trying to use those elbows to work himself closer to the works not even trusting himself to use his hands for fear he might tap.
Harvey: The pain Level One just be feeling right now looks excruciating. I don’t know how he hasn’t tapped out with the damage already done to his knee… you have to ask yourself at what point you tap to save your career?
What seems like a eternity to Level One later, he feels his middle finger brush the rope and he tries to lunge for it one more time only to find Bryan has managed to scoot them back a few more inches away from the ropes and he falls back onto his back watching the rope recede back just out of reach and screams in pain and frustration, the look of agony on his face captured on the camera.
Chase: I don’t think I’ve ever heard that sound come out of Level One’s mouth!
Again One tries to work himself back with his elbows fractionally closer… and then closer still suddenly his arm goes out, quivering as the ref watches the hand seems to wave in the air…. it hovers over the mat inches above it.
Harvey: He’s going to do it… Level One is going to tap!
The hand goes down and at the last possible instant snaps out, not to hit the mat but grab the bottom rope a massive wooosh of air goes out as the whole audience lets out a collective sigh as the ref begins a five count for Bryan to break the hold.
Chase: I… blood… heart… having.. attack!
Harvey: You ok there buddy?
Chase: I need a drink…
Bryan yells is pure frustration letting go at the last moment leaving One to clutch his knee up to his chest rolling in seeming mortal agony as Payne gets up he himself looking battered and exhausted as he grabs at the wounded leg trying to drag one back towards the center of the ring to set it up again, but One is having none of it, with strength born of pure desperation he shoves Bryan back away from him and backs away down underneath the bottom rope looking like he wants nothing to do with Bryan, and the ref intercedes forcing Bryan to back off as One tangles himself up in the ropes like that.
Harvey: Smart ring savy move there by One… buying himself a few moments to recover. You just have to wonder how much damage has been done to that knee?
Chase: I’m getting too old for this….
Harvey: Hang in there buddy.
Bryan walks off several feet and then as the ref turns around he charges falling into a baseball slide that catches One in the shoulder and sends him tumbling outside the ring onto the mat jarring the knee again. Bryan then grabs the top rope and sling shots himself up and over it into a suicide dive landing on top of Level One and grabs his middle again after the impact both men laying down and out on the outside of the ring.
1…. 2…….
Harvey: Both men are down and the ref has started the count. Ladies and gentlemen I hope you appreciate what you are seeing here tonight, these two men have gone to war inside that ring tonight and I cannot even hazard to guess at this point which one of them is going to have their hand raises in victory when all is said and done.
3…. 4……
Harvey: Chase?.... Chase?!
Chase: I could’ve been a dentist…
Outside the ring One and Bryan have managed to pull themselves up with the ring apron and it’s One who recovers first grabbing Bryan’s arm and sling shooting him into the ring steps breaking them off their mooring with the impact that shatters the arena.
5…. 6…….
He then crawls over using the apron for support and drags Bryan over rolling him back into the ring and rolls in behind him going for a cover.
1…. 2…… Kick out!
The crowd explodes back to it’s feet once again, seemingly almost as exhausted as the two men in the ring at the emotional rollercoaster. One can be seen to visibly sigh and slump fractionally and rolls over onto one knee, the hurt one extended as though he doesn’t’ trust it to support his weight fully and reaches around maneuvering himself behind Bryan with his arms locked around his waist. As Bryan tries to stand he throws himself backwards with that one leg into a German Suplex, and then pants as he drags Bryan over towards the turnbuckle, hammering several fists into Bryan’s face and chest, though he doesn’t seem to be moving after the sling shot dive, the steel step impact and the suplex. He picks him up, it taking One quite a while to maneuver him up to the top rope and then follows him up there.
Harvey: What in the world is Level One doing now?!
Chase: I… I think he’s setting up a superplex maybe?
Harvey: With the hurt ribs I think that really could spell the absolute END for Bryan Payne here tonight….
One finally gets Bryan positioned, leaning back a bit to hammer several punches into his chest and face as Bryan’s upper body seems to sway from his seated perch, as though he can’t even hold himself up. One loops his arm around back behind his head, and that’s when Bryan seems to come alive. One tries to stand up straighter to lift Bryan who has locked his legs underneath the ropes and hammers a fist down into One’s gut. There is a moment they hang there and One tries to stand up again failing, apparently not able to power Bryan off the ropes on the one leg. Another fist hammers into One’s chest and another and another and another and then with a shove Level One stumbles back off the turnbuckle looking shocked. The crowd takes a collective breath as Payne then leaps off his perch on the ropes clear over One’s head and locks Lester’s head to his shoulder once again on the way down in a second flip neck breaker. The impact sends the arena into stunned silence holding it’s breath as Bryan makes the pin.
1….
2………
3…….!! DING! DING! DING! Harvey: OH MY GOD! I don’t believe it. Bryan Payne has done it here tonight… he has defeated Level One in an unbelievable contest of wills!Chase: I…. I…. I really need that drink..The Tacoma crowd is in a frenzy, chanting "FELL THE PAYNE! FEEL THE PAYNE!" at the top of their lungs, cheering and screaming loudly! Bryan is obviously exhausted almost not aware of where he is as the ref helps haul him off a similarly spent Level One, who doesn’t even move as Bryan his supported by the ref himself as his hand is raised into the air. Tony: And here is your winner by pinfall… Bryan PAYNE!Harvey: I’m still in shock here tonight. What a massive win for Bryan Payne and what a disappointing loss for Level One. What does this mean for his title rematch hopes with Pence Weatherlight?!Chase: That rematch should still be his! A champion should always get his rematch… I mean that’s just the way it works!Harvey: One thing is for sure we have NOT seen the last of these two in the ring. If I know anything it’s that Level One is really going to want some pay back!

Tonight's his chance!"King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. As the heavy metal guitar solo comes to an end out comes John comes out wearing his normal wrestling attire with his "The Retribution Killer" shirt on. He smiles as he stands in front of the entrance ramp and does his trademarked "Retribution" pose and sparks and fireworks shoot into the air immediately. Wish I may, Wish I might, Have this I wish tonight, Are you satisfied? Tony: Making his way to the ring first, the challenger, weighing in tonight at 265 pounds, from Atlanta, Georgia, "The Retribution Killer" John Green!John walks down the ramp with a smile on his face as he slaps some of the hands of fans as he walks past them. Before entering the ring he stops in front of the squared circle looking into the ring and lets out a grin before sliding into the ring and standing in the middle of it. Green closes his eyes and takes a huge breath before running to the ropes and shaking the top one forcefully. He then lets out a monsterous roar and beats his chest. He walks to the turnbuckle and climbs them to the second rope and points to himself and then once again does his trademarked "Retribution" pose. Dig for gold, Dig for fame, You dig to make your name, Are you pacified?, All the wants you waste, All the things you've chased, And it all crashes down, And you break your crown, And you point your finger, But there's no one around John hops off and takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd. Just want one thing, Just to play the king, But the castle crumbled, And you've left with just a name, Where's your crown? King nothing!!! His music fades out as he awaits the champion. The Titantron bursts to static as the lights all dim down and begin to flash different colors at random, the fans turn their eyes to the entrance ramp, as all the light go out. A voice comes out over the speakers saying "Baby don't fear the Reaper." and then the lights come on. "Everything" by Pillar hits the speakers now and the lights begin to flicker red, white, and blue. Pence walks out on to the entrance ramp holding his championship belt over his shoulder and he stops at the top and looks out around the arena. Tony: And his opponent, weighing in tonight at 250 pounds, from Hershey, Pennsylvania, he is the APW Heavyweight Champion of the World, Pence Weatherlight!Harvey: Just listen to the ovation Pence Weatherlight is receiving here tonight! These fans in Tacoma have been great all night, but the ovation their giving to Pence right now puts all their prior efforts to shame!Chase: I don't understand how, I don't understand why, but these people absolutely love Pence! The fans all begin to chant "Mr. Main Event" and he slowly brings his hand up for a salute, but halfway there he jerks it up, and two blue pyros explode beside the ramp. He then starts to walk down the ramp, slapping hands, and taking pictures with fans. He gets inside the ring and look around at everyone who is watching him and then he nods his head as he unslings the championship belt from his shoulder. He then lifts up the belt above his head with both hands and all four turnbuckles explode with blue pyrotechnics from the top. Pence then puts the belt back on his shoulder and turns to the ref, handing him the belt, and then he gazes over to the entrance ramp. He kneels down and keeps an eye on the ramp the whole time, waiting for his opponent to show him or herself. Pence Weatherlight vs. John Green APW Heavyweight Championship

The challenger hollars in pain as Pence rolls around like an Olympic wrestler and cinches in an Americana arm bar. Green in pain looks for some sort of escape and clutches his feet around the bottom ropes. Pence releases the hold as Green quickly slides out of the ring grasping at his shoulder.
Harvey: What a match so far, Green out to get his barings from the rapid fire assault Pence offered up.
Chase: Yeah Green had the upper hand and the champ quickly shifted the momentum his direction with ease and showed why he is at the top of the heap here in APW.
John Green yells to the ref to back up Pence before he will enter the ring, and the man in the stripes does just that turning around barking out his orders. Green quickly slides into the ring, flies over clotheslinning the world champion who shoved the ref out of harms way just in time to get his own head taken damn near clean off by the lariat. Green puts the boots to the champ and then drags him up to his feet and suplexes him into the air and drops him on his head with a brain buster.
Harvey: Wow, Green really turned things around there.
Chase: You got to move fast and hit hard to dethrone a world champion here in APW.
Harvey: That belt doesn't just fall around your waist it's earned with hard work, blood sweat and tears.
Chase: The champ might have to shed some tears here because he is about to be locked in a figure four by the challenger.
John Green locks the submission in and Pence grabs his face in agony as the hold tortures his ligaments. The ref right in the face of the champion who shakes his head no but is feeling extreme pain as Green cranks on the hold trying to jar the tendions. The challenger and former world champion looks to be plotting his next series of attacks that will capture him another title reign. Kickout barely in time by Green.
Harvey: I can't believe he kicked out.
Chase: It's amazing what your body will do in a fight.
Harvey: Yeah and when the biggest prize in our industry is up for grabs the level gets bumped up to grander heights.
Pence Weatherlight is a little shocked that Green was able to kickout of that insane amount of punishment he just under went and looks toward the ref. From the response he offers back to the champ it seems he is a shocked as well. Pence stands up and pulls his opponent to his feet. Pence hooks him sideways and tilt a whirl power shoulder breakers Green to the pain train once more. Green rolls to his side clutching his shoulder screaming and moaning in pain.
Harvey: I think he just dislocated Greens shoulder.
Chase: That's brutal pain there Harv.
Harvey: You had your shoulder dislocated before Johnny?
Chase: Uhh, nope just the buzz around the locker room is that it's pretty painful.
Pence Weatherlight lets Green rise to his feet almost daring him to stand so he could possibly inflcit more damage. As the challenger rises to his feet his right arm dangles at his side as if he can't move it. Pence smiles with pleasure as he sees Green like an injured piece of prey and he moves in for the kill. Green tosses a left jab toward Pence who slides to the side of it and drives double handed hammer fists into his shlulder as a counter to that punch. Green winces in pain as Pence then grabs the wrist of his opponent and spins his arm around and then leaps air borne taking Green to the mat with a nasty arm bar submission. The challenger quickly tries to keep his arm bent and roll around releasing the pressure of the hold so Pence can't stretch out completely. Pence on his back trying tosnap Green arm off slips a leg over Greens head hooking it behind his knee and locks in a triangle choke. Green scrambling to defend scoots hi legs in close and powers up hoisting the champ in the air. Green holding Pence upright with the triangle applied tries to charge forward toward the turnbuckle and repay the favor from earlier and power bomb the champion but he fades out just shy and falls down dropping Pence not so hard on his back. The ref runs over to check the arms of Green and we head into a classic three count arm drop situation as the ref starts off hoisting one of the challenger meat hooks in the air and dropping it.

Chase: What a match.
Green shoves Pence underneath the botton rope and then flails backward guilotining the champion on the bottom rope releasing the hold. It almost as if Greens shoulder poped back into socket as he gasps for air not favoring it a bit. Pence with the throat wrenching move suffers the same need for air as Green. Both men get to their feet but Green is the aggressor hitting a flying knee to the face of Pence. As the champion rise he eats a big right hand, followed by a boot to the gut and a impact DDT.
