The new Eminem album "Recovery" came out today and I've listened to the first 8 of 19 tracks.
(Side note= What is Love by Haddaway sample on the 9th song with Lil Wayne sounds nice!)
So far this is the BEST Eminem Album EVER!
No joke, so far no joke bullshit songs. All straight up rap and this shit is legit. Go get it itunes has Deluxe Edition. But I went ahead and bought the album in stores and copped the extra 2 songs for free somewhere. Amazing.
"Thank Me Later" by Drake. One of my favorite albums ever. Drake sings a lot in this "So Far Gone" mixtape followup. But he has his verses and he is amazing and in fact he could care less if he sells he gave out 3 singles for free on his website before they went on sale on their own.
He gave out free music for years before his debut here on the 15th.
Hes fine as long as you like the music hes good.
I like R&B too in fact I find myself listening to that genre more often than Rap and Hip Hop sometimes so the singing verses are nice to me. But there is plenty of Rap in this album don't worry. If at first you don't like the album give it awhile it'll grow, its called "Thank Me Later" for a reason.
If you're a fan of R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop these two albums are in need to be put into your collection.
