The scene opens up a local gym in down town Winnipeg. The cameras catch Mark Moment walking into the gym with his gym bag in his hand, ready for a work out. Mark looks at the camera guys.
Mark: I suppose you guys want to know what I think of my match at Test for the Best this Sunday. Well, Let me tell you.
Mark puts down his gym bag and begins to speak into the camera.
Mark: Finally, I have an opponent for Test for the Best. For the past few weeks, I was wondering, would it be Hellfire, Would it be Chris Cyrus, but now, Chris Cyrus got himself the shot. Congrats Mr. “Greatest Xtreme Champion of all time.” Do I agree that you should be in this match, well, no, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to cry and moan about it. I’m a fighting champion and it didn’t matter who got put up against me because I’m going to do whatever it takes to retain my title.
See Chris Cyrus, for the past month, all I heard from you is how you’ve held the Xtreme Title for one day short of a year, how you’re the longest champion and all that stuff. That’s all fine and dandy, but lets not forget why you held that title for so long. It was because Biggs carried your ass. Plain and simple and that’s the truth. If you think that now that your 30 year old virgin buddy is the General Manager of Overdrive that he can pull a few strings for you and get you what you want, then you got another thing coming boy. Because I’ve kept a close eye on you in recent weeks Chris. With how you referee matches and last week how you screwed Hellfire out of the title shot. He beat you fair and square, and I know that because I made the 3 count in that match. I gave you a taste of your own medicine Chris and I can tell that you didn’t like it.
At Test for the Best, it will be the first time we face of one on one and there’s nothing I’m going to enjoy more than beating you and making your Xtreme Championship reign seem worthless. Because when I beat you Chris, I will give myself a new nick name. Everyone will call me Mark “The man who beat the greatest Xtreme Champion of all Time” Moment. You need to realize Chris, the competition in APW now and what it was last year is like comparing apples and oranges. You can think all you want that your deserving of holding the Overdrive title, but you know what, I busted my ass to win this. I’ve chased this title for five months before I got my hands on it and now that I have it, I’m not letting it go. If you want it Chris, your gonna have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. I worked too hard to get this title to lose it to you.
And you know something Chris, I’ve spent a lot of time following you. Back when you we’re the Hardcore Kid, trying to make a name for yourself. I watched you grow as a wrestler and you we’re an inspiration for me. I kid you not. As I watch you lose every week in the early days of APW, and every week, you would give it your all and eventually you catch a break. And before we knew it, The Hardcore Kid was a 2 time APW Tag Team Champion. And then, A Xtreme Champion and then a Kid transformed into a man as we see today, Chris Cyrus. You inspired me Chris to never give up. To keep pushing and never stopping. And that’s something I’ve lived by. Its something that’s gotten me to where I am today. And its gotten me the Overdrive Championship. A lot of greats have held this title and for my name to be in that list of the elite is an honor for me.
The difference between you and me Chris is that you want this title only so you can call yourself a Triple crown APW Champion. You want this as just another bragging right. But me Chris, for me, its not about bragging rights, because I don’t believe I am a better wrestler than you or anyone else in APW. I wanted this belt because I respected APW, I respected the guy who held this title and I wanted this title so I can be another one of those elite guy to carry that title with pride and honor. Something you don’t see in this business anymore. And you’ve fallen into that class of people who just want a title because it makes you think that you’re the best. Well guess what, this title Chris, I will defend it against you with Honor and Pride, but when I beat you to retain it, it won’t mean that I am better than you Chris. It will just mean that on July 4th, I was the man who wanted the title the most.
So Chris, Test for the Best, I’m looking forward to it. I look forward to beating you from post to post. I’m looking forward to cheering the cheers of the Winnipeg crowd when I hit the Marking Out. And the thing I’m really looking forward to is walking out still the APW Overdrive Champion. Chris Cyrus, You are a tool and a piece of trash. And at Test for the Best, I promise you Chris that not even Biggs will be able to help you take the Overdrive Title from me. I worked to hard to lose it to a scum like you.
