Chris: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. In just a few short days, on Sunday, July the 4th, mark it on your calendar, will be the day that the era of Chris Cyrus begins…Again. The last time I was a champion, I held that title for three hundred and sixty four days straight. I didn’t even take time off. I wrestled every time I was scheduled to. I was a champion the legit way. And that accomplishment is something that no one will ever take away from me. When I was Xtreme Champion, I brought that championship to new heights. Before I became Xtreme Champion, the title was a joke. Much like the Overdrive Title as I plan on bringing that Title out of jokeville and make it a championship belt worth fighting for.
Since Biggs lost the Overdrive Title, The Overdrive Title got tossed around more times than a 2 cent prostitute. But those days are now over, because Chris Cyrus is your savior. Mark Moment, The current Overdrive Champion. A man who represents everything I hate about this business. Here’s Mark Moment, a kid who loves this business so much, thinks that because he’s watched wrestling all his life that he knows everything about every wrestler and that he knows what it takes to win. Well guess what Marky Mark. Just because you’ve been watching me and my career from the beginning, doesn’t mean squat. And also the fact that you claim that the only reason I want the Overdrive title is to add to my achievements is just crazy talk. Yah, its part of the reason, but as you know, I’ve been here since day one. I was in the very first APW matches. Don’t believe me, go on you tube and look up APW New Years Retribution 2008. I am the only APW mega star that has appeared on every single Overdrive and every single PPV. And you know why that is. Its because I love APW. APW has given me tons of opportunities. They allowed me to travel the world, and the pay isn’t bad either. But the fact is that, Just like the Xtreme Title before I won it, The Overdrive title is in a slump. That title doesn’t have a champion that people can look up to. Or someone that people actually want to see. Its been like that for most of this year and that’s where I come it. I’m here to save the Overdrive Title just like I saved the Xtreme Title a year and a half ago.
Last week on Overdrive Mark, you tried to screw me out of getting my shot at the Overdrive title. And that’s something that I can’t just forget about. You got taught a lesson on Overdrive when Biggs restarted the match and I won. The lesson was, you can’t always get what you want. And because of that Mark, that just drives me to teach you the same lesson at Test for the Best when I beat you and take that title from you, from your cold dead hands.
Also Mark, you’ve failed to realize one thing. I’ve been an inspiration to you and your career. You’ve watched me and studied me. But, as you may have noticed, the Past 6 months, I haven’t wrestled much, and you know why? Because with Biggs as GM, he was able to put me on light duty. I had some nagging injuries from President Jeff putting me in ridiculous Xtreme type matches. But I took the past six months to rest. To heal up and now, I’m at a hundred percent. I feel better than ever. I look better than ever and Chris Cyrus, the man who made history by becoming the longest reigning Xtreme Champion, is looking to do the same thing with the Overdrive Title. Which, shouldn’t be that hard to be honest. I mean, look at the competition. There is no one who can compete with me. Especially you Marky Mark. What have you done as Overdrive Champion. You beat Hellfire. Big whoop. I beat him too and he hasn’t done anything impressive since winning that belt.
Mark, you talked about how you worked too hard to lose the Overdrive title to me. Well guess what Newbi. I’ve worked just as hard to get where I am today. To make a name for myself. As an APW Original, I helped paved the way for guys like you and everyone else who’s come to APW and loved this company. Without someone like me who is dedicated and gives a hundred and ten percent every time, APW wouldn’t be where it is today. But you need to realize that Having a title in APW means your one of the best in the world, and I can’t stand here any longer, watching you run around with that title, knowing that I am better than you. I know you, and you know it Mark. And I know that your scared. You talk a big game, but deep down Mark, I know your counting down the days you have left with that Overdrive Title.
Mark, I’m not a tool, that I can guaranteed and I will prove it to you Sunday night at Test for the Best. Last year, it was the Summer of Chris Cyrus and the Axis of Awesome. And Test for the Best was the starting point. It was actually the event where my career took off. Take a look at the first APW Test for the Best Pay Per View. It where I won my first championship. Last year, I practically ended Assassin’s career. And now this year Mark Moment, I’m winning the Overdrive Title and then doing everyone a favor when end your career. Mark, all I ask is for you to shine that title up for me, because when the ref hands it to me, I want to be able to see my face it in. And one more thing Mark, because I’m such a nice guy, at Test for the Best, I got you a one way ticket….STRAIGHT…TO….HELL!
