Test for the Best begins with the Intro Video Fireworks erupt from the stage, which has two large screens set up on either side of a huge column covered with smaller video screens. There's an entrance way underneath each screen, and the two ramps meet together in front of the column to form a V. The fans are going wild as the pyrotechnics continue to go off the the music blares over the speakers! The camera pans the crowd, where several of the fans are holding up signs. Many of the fans have signs saying “I'm the Best!” with arrows pointing down at themselves, as well as numerous signs for Bryan Payne. A group of fans in the upper deck have brought a set of signs that read “LEVEL-ONE,” with one letter on each sign, showing that either there's a small contingent of Level-One fans in the arena, or one guy who's very convincing in getting others to hold up his sign. Harvey: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the MTS Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for APW's annual Test for the Best! I'm Darren Harvey, and alongside me is my broadcast partner, Johnny Chase! Tonight, eight competitors will partake in the ultimate test, a single elimination tournament, where the winner must win three matches in one night!Chase: It truly is the Test for the Best, and the winner of the tournament will be named the number one contender for the APW Heavyweight Championship at Shockwave in August!Harvey: But that's not all we got for you tonight folks, as all three APW Championships will be on the line tonight! Mark Moment defends the Overdrive Championship in a match that is sure to be fast paced and extremely competitive!Chase: And let's not forget the Xtreme Championship Scramble! The current Xtreme Champion, Michael Lively, was complaining that the competition wasn't up to snuff for him in recent months, and begged for a challenging match! Well, the old axiom, “Be careful what you wish for,” rings true in this case, as Lively must defend his belt in a match against four other men to retain the belt!Harvey: It won't be an easy task with competition the likes of Crazy Joe, Streets Wilson, Cooper Conrad or Victor Hades breathing down his throat! It'll take a miracle for Lively to leave Test for the Best with the Xtreme Championship! But then there's our main event for the evening, where newly crowned APW Champion Bryan Payne takes on Level-One in a No Disqualifications match with the Championship on the line! Payne picked up what many called an upset win over Level-One at our Mayhem pay per view in May, and Level-One has said that he'll do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn't happen again!Chase: Well, Level-One went as far as to beat Bryan Payne's younger brother so badly that the younger Payne is still in the hospital tonight! Bryan would love nothing more than to come out here and win one for Tim over the man who put him on the shelf!Harvey: That match promises to be epic, but we've got a lot of wrestling to get to tonight, so we're going to get underway with our first match in the Test for the Best tournament! Let's send it to ring announcer Tony Ferrari for the official announcement. Ferrari: The opening contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a first round match in the Test for the Best tournament! The fans pop at this announcement, but the cheers turn to boos as the arena lights fade to black as “Spaceman” blares over the loudspeakers. Blue laser lights shoot from the stage as strobe lights flash about the arena. Biggs enters to a chorus of boos, accompanied by Ellie and flashes his trademark smirk before making his way down the ramp to the ring. He's dressed in red, white, and blue ring gear, with a white ring jacket with blue accents and red feathers on the shoulders. Ellie is wearing blue jeans and a red, white, and blue blouse. Ferrari: Making his way to the ring first, accompanied by Ellie, weighing in at 217 pounds, from Seattle, Washington, he is the General Manager of Overdrive, Biggs!Chase: Woohoo! We get to start the night out with our glorious General Manager, Biggs! Not only has he been doing an awesome job running APW for the past few months, but he's earned his way into the Test for the Best tournament! I can't wait to see him win it all here tonight!Harvey: Well, whether or not he's been doing a good job as GM is up for debate, but there is no doubt about his skill in the ring. I just wish he wouldn't resort to cheating so often!Biggs mocks the fans as he heads towards the ring, and once he reaches the ring, he holds the ropes open for Ellie, before rolling in beneath the ropes, pops up to his feet, and raises his hands up, index fingers pointed upwards. Red, white, and blue fireworks shoot out of the ring posts as he does so. The Canadian fans are booing loudly as Biggs asks for a mic. He waits for the boos to die down a bit before he begins to speak. Biggs: Once again, thanks to the incompetent management of APW, I've had to spend the second year in a row outside of the United States of America for Independence Day! If it were up to me, this event would be held in a country that actually matters, and not their step-brother to the north! This comment draws loud boos from the crowd, and Biggs can't help but smirk. Harvey: How disrespectful of Biggs to mock the great nation of Canada! They've hosted us for the past month, and have been nothing but gracious!Chase: Biggs is right! It's a travesty that two years in a row, we've been outside of the United States on the Fourth of July!Biggs: But unfortunately, as general manager, I don't set the tour schedule, I just follow it. Still, just because I have to spend Independence Day in another country doesn't mean I'm not going to celebrate it! So if you all would please stand with me, and join me in singing the American National Anthem, it would be much appreciated!Biggs waits for a moment, and then “The Star Spangled Banner” begins to play over the speakers, and the American flag is shown fluttering on the big screens. Biggs and Ellie sing as the fans boo viciously. Biggs: O! say can you see by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there; O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? As the song comes to a close the fans are in an uproar, and Biggs looks out into the crowd with a sour look on his face. Harvey: Biggs tried this in Mexico last year, and got roughly the same response.Chase: Actually, I think he got a worse reaction here tonight! For shame on these Canadians! Have they no respect!?Biggs: Now I'm going to operate under the assumption that those boos are directed towards myself, and not the United States, because if it were the latter, it would speak very poorly on those of you in the crowd tonight. Still, the fact remains that whether you like me or you hate me, I am the odds on favorite to win this tournament! And not just because of my wrestling skill, but because I have something all of you lack, and that is character! You see, I didn't have to be in this tournament to name myself the number one contender for the APW Heavyweight Championship, but I entered this tournament to earn that privilege! And I'm sure many of you noticed that the brackets haven't been officially announced prior to tonight's event, and that's because in this year's tournament, both the first round and the second round matches will be determined at random! But it doesn't matter, because the end result will be the same anyways, with me claiming the APW Heavyweight Championship as my own at Shockwave in August! Why?Ellie: Because he's quite simply out of this world!Harvey: Biggs sounds incredibly confident here tonight, but he doesn't even know who his first opponent here tonight is going to be!Chase: You heard him say that it doesn't matter! He's the odds on favorite! On cue, the lights take on a blue tinge and 'Starstrukk' hits the speakers. This sets the crowd off: everyone knows who this is leading up to. As the song bursts to life, out races Sally Talfourd, racing to the front of the stage. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd that hangs over the rails for her. Biggs is visibly upset by the match up, yelling “CRAP!” loudly in the ring. Ellie just stands next to Biggs, seething. Ferrari: And his opponent, weighing in at 140 pounds, from Seattle, Washington, Sally Talfourd!Harvey: I like this match! Sally defeated Biggs a couple of weeks ago on Overdrive, taking advantage of Biggs' discomfort with wrestling a woman!Chase: Not only that, but Sally's been making unwanted advances towards Biggs ever since she got to APW! He's engaged to be married, for crying out loud!Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, blowing a kiss towards Biggs as she is announced. When that's done, she dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top ring and bounces to the centre of the ring. Poses for the crowd as the lights return to normal and the music fades out. The crowd still cheers for the adorable Sally as she starts to stretch for the match. Ellie removes Biggs' jacket and shades, and gives him a passionate kiss on the mouth before exiting the ring, allowing the ref to call for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Test for the Best: Round 1 Biggs vs. Sally Talfourd
As the ref calls for the bell, Biggs immediately shoots in towards Sally's legs, trying to take her down! Sally takes a step back, dodging the attempt, and answers with a Kick towards Biggs' head! “The Spaceman” rolls back to avoid the move, and gets back to his feet in a defensive stance. Sally and Biggs circle around the ring a bit, neither one wanting to make the first move. While they do so, Sally tries to get in Biggs' head, calling him names like “Honey Bun” and “Cutie.” Biggs tries to ignore her, while Ellie looks pissed on the outside.
Harvey: Both of these competitors know what the other is capable of, and neither one wants to make a mistake this early in the match!
Chase: It's true. Both Sally Talfourd and Biggs are very smart wreslters, and are very adept at capatilizing on the mistakes of their opponents!
After a few moments, the two of them finally hook up into a Collar-and-Elbow Tie Up in the middle of the ring, and Sally uses the close proximity to give Biggs a quick peck on the cheek! Biggs immediately lets go of the tie up, and is flustered by Sally's tactics! Sally uses the opening to rush in and catch him with a Headscissors Takedown! She keeps the Leg Scissors on tight, but Biggs wriggles out in a flash, and grabs a hold of her legs, holding them up and kicking her left calf again and again! Ellie is clapping on the outside as Biggs continues to work the left leg, grabbing a hold of Sally's left ankle and falling backwards to the mat, pulling hard on the leg! The fans get a “Let's go Sally!” >clap clap clapclapclap< “Let's go Sally!” >clap clap clapclapclap< chant going very early in the match, as Biggs manages to get a Grapevine Leg Lock applied! As he pulls back on the leg, he uses his right arm to deliver some hard Elbow Shots into the shin of his opponent! After a few shots, he lets go of the Grapevine, and rolls Sally onto her belly, grabbing a hold of her leg and applying a Single Leg Crab! Sally manages to get a hand on the bottom rope, but Ellie rips it off the ropes! The ref catches Ellie doing this and motions for her to be ejected from the arena! The fans cheer loudly as Ellie hops on the apron and pleads with the ref! Biggs releases the hold and argues with the ref as well, but he stands firm in his decision, calling for her to be ejected! Ellie heads back up the ramp with a very sour look on her face, and the fans sing “Nananana, nananana, Hey-eh-eh, goodbye!” drawing the ire of both Biggs and Ellie!
Harvey: Kudos to the ref for throwing Ellie out! Had he allowed her to stay, there's no knowing what kind of havoc she could have wrecked on this match!
Chase: All she did was remove Sally's hand from the rope! It's not like she actually hit her!
Harvey: Still, she got physically involved in the match, and that was enough for her to get ejected! She's lucky the ref didn't disqualify Biggs right there!
Biggs is still arguing with the ref, giving Sally the opportunity to get to her feet and attack him from behind with a well placed Dropkick to the back of the head, sending Biggs crashing chest first into the middle rope! As Biggs is hung up on the middle rope, Sally takes a few steps back and gets a running start, leaping up and nailing Biggs in the back with a Double Knee Strike! Biggs is holding his back in pain as Sally grabs a hold of his head and pulls him off of the ropes, giving him a few Forearm Strikes to the face before shooting him into the ropes! Sally Leapfrogs him on the way back, and drops to the mat, Monkey Flipping him on the rebound! As Biggs hits the mat hard, Sally quickly turns him onto his stomach, grabs a hold of both arms, and pulls back, placing her boot on the back of his head before delivering a violent Curb Stomp! She rolls him over and goes for the pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out! Sally gives him a few more Forearm Shots to the face before going for another cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out again!
Chase: Surely she doesn't think she can put Biggs away that easily, does she?
Harvey: I think Sally is smart enough to realize that! Still, it behooves the competitors in this tournament to win the matches as quickly as they can in these early rounds, to help save their energy for later!
Sally is still in control as she locks Biggs into a Side Headlock, and pulls him back up to a vertical base. Biggs gives her a couple of elbows to the midsection, and shoves her off, sending her into the ropes! She bounces back, and Biggs goes for a Clothesline, but Sally ducks underneath and puts on the brakes! Biggs turns around, and she grabs his arm, stick her foot up against his cheek, and drops down, delivering and Inverted Stomp Facebreaker! Biggs holds his cheek in pain as Sally goes for another cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs gets the shoulder up! Sally mounts Biggs, and proceeds to try and pummel him a bit, but Biggs gets his hands up to defend himself from her blows! Sally hesitates a bit, and Biggs goes up to shove her, but accidentally places his hands on her chest! It takes him a moment to realize what he's done, and Sally has a huge grin on her face, but after a few moments, Biggs pulls his hands back, and Sally proceeds to continue to pummel him!
Harvey: Biggs got to second base with Sally! Do you think he's gotten that far with Ellie?
Chase: I don't think he has, nor does he want to, not until their wedding night! He's obviously embarrassed about what just transpired!
Back in the ring, Biggs' face is beet red, and not just because of the multiple punches to the face he received from Sally. She relents and pulls him back up to his feet, whipping him towards the ropes! She jumps up to deliver a Hurricarana to Biggs, but he counters with a Sitout Powerbomb, drilling her into the mat! He places his legs over her arms to pin her 1 . . . 2 . . . Sally rolls through, pinning Biggs 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks both of his heels into the side of her head to break the count!
Chase: You can tell that Biggs if very flustered in this match, as he normally wouldn't allow his opponent to counter a pinning predicament that easily!
Harvey: Maybe you're just not giving Sally Talfourd enough credit!
Chase: I'm just saying, if Sally Talfourd was a man, this match would be going more in Biggs' favor!
Harvey: Maybe not. Who would you rather fight, Johnny, a beautiful woman who has a thing for you, or a dude who has the hots for you?
Chase: Good point!
In the ring, Biggs has a very stern look on his face as both of them get to their feet! They tie up, and Biggs uses his strength advantage to pull off a Japanese Armdrag! As Sally lands on the mat, he quickly applies a Standing Armbar, applying a ton of pressure to her shoulder joint! After a few moments of excruciating pain, Sally kicks her legs up, catching Biggs in the face and forcing him to release the hold! As he stumbles back a bit, Sally connects with a Hurricarana! As Biggs is recovering on the mat, Sally perches atop the turnbuckle, and as Biggs gets to his feet, she leaps off with a Missile Dropkick! Biggs sidesteps the Dropkick, and as Sally lands, he gives her a few stomps to the back before he steps out onto the apron and hits her with a Slingshot Leg Drop to the back of the head! He then follows up by locking in a Double Underhook, and drives his knees repeatedly into the crown of her head for a series of Ultimate Kneestrikes to the Head! After about a half-a-dozen shots, he rolls her onto her back, and hooks the leg 1 . . . 2 . . . Sally kicks out! Biggs realizes that he's going to have to do more to keep her down, so he pulls her back up, sending her into the ropes! On the rebound, he lifts her up for a picture perfect Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker right into Biggs' knee! She flops to the mat on her belly, and Biggs immediately cinches a Camel Clutch! Sally screams in pain as Biggs has the hold in tight! As he pulls back, he uses his right arm to smack her with a couple Forearm Crossfaces! The fans boo loudly as Biggs continues to apply the hold, and smash her face again and again!
Harvey: Biggs has taken control of this match, after Sally maintained control for much of the early going!
Chase: This is a nasty move, and will go a long way into wearing Sally down!
After a few more shots, Biggs releases the hold, and gets to his feet, giving her a stiff Soccer Kick to the midsection with such force that it knocks her up and flips her onto her back! The fans continue to boo, and start chanting “BIGGS SUCKS! BIGGS SUCKS!” as the General Manager gets up to his feet and pulls Sally up to a vertical base and gives her a few shots to the face before whipping her into the corner! Biggs gets a running start, and comes in for a Running Clothesline! Sally gets out of the way just in time, causing Biggs to crash chest first into the turnbuckle! Sally quickly hops onto the turnbuckle, and grabs a hold of Biggs' head, hitting with a Tornado DDT! She goes for another cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out! Sally keeps the pressure up, pulling Biggs back up and giving him the Lovelace Choker, taking him back down to the mat, going for another cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Another kick out!
Harvey: Sally has the advantage once more!
She pulls Biggs up whips him up to the ropes! She goes for a Big Boot on the rebound, but Biggs ducks under it and springs off the opposite ropes, catching Sally with a Springboard Flipping Inverted DDT! He goes for the pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick out! Biggs slams his fist into the mat with frustration, but pulls Sally back up to a vertical base and goes for a Jumping Spin Kick! Sally ducks under, and goes for another Inverted Stomp Facebreaker, but before she can deliver it, Biggs sweeps her legs out from beneath her! He hits with a Standing Leg Drop, and follows up right with a pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Another kick out!
Harvey: Another pinfall attempt, and another kick out! This match is a good example of what we're going to be seeing in this tourney, with more pinfall attempts than normal! These competitors are going to do whatever they can to shorten their matches, even if it's hoping for a fluke win! Still, whoever emerges victorious from this contest will have earned it!
Chase: This match is going on longer than either one of these two competitors would care for it to!
Biggs is showing a lot of signs of frustration, just wanting to finish the match. He motions that the match is almost over, pulling Sally up in a three-quarters side headlock, dragging her towards the corner, and runs up the ropes, nailing the Bigg Time! The confidence of Biggs' face is growing as he climbs the top turnbuckle, going for the UFO Frog Splash! Sally gets her knees up, winding Biggs! As he lays on the mat, holding his lungs, she crawls over and drapes an arm over her opponent 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs kicks out!
Harvey: Sally almost had it there with that counter! One has to wonder how much more do they have left in the tank?
Chase: Well, they'd better hope they have a lot, as whoever wins this match still has two matches left to go if they want to win the tournament!
Both competitors are digging down deep as the ref starts the mandatory ten count.
“1!”
“2!”
Sally is starting to push herself up while Biggs grabs a hold of the rope, trying to pull himself up.
“3!”
“4!”
Sally is up to one knee, while Biggs is most of the way up.
“5!”
“6!”
Biggs is all the way up, right as Sally gets to her feet as well. Biggs goes for a Flying Forearm Shot, but Sally ducks under it! As Biggs gets up, Sally hits him with a Spinning Wheel Kick! Both of them get back up, and Sally clocks him with a kick to the gut! As he's hunched over, Sally locks in the COTS! A look of panic can be seen in Biggs' eyes as Sally cinches in the move tight!
Harvey: Sally beat Biggs with this move a few weeks ago!
Chase: C'mon, Biggs! Hold on!
Sally has the move on tight, and Biggs is in obvious discomfort, but he manages to drag Sally and himself towards the ropes while she continues to torque the arm and shoulder of Biggs! He manages to get a hand on the ropes, and the ref starts the five count! Sally lets go on four, and Biggs quickly leaps out of the ring to the floor, trying to create some distance between Sally and himself! Sally responds by grabbing a hold of the top rope, and slingshotting herself over the top! Biggs reacts by sliding back into the ring! Sally calls his bluff, landing feet first on the apron! She slings herself onto the top rope and springs off, grabbing Biggs with a Springing Corkscrew Neckbreaker! She goes for another cover 1 . . . 2 . . . kick out! Sally gives Biggs some more Forearm Shots to the face, and gets to her feet, running towards the ropes and jumping off for the Happy Ending! Biggs rolls out of the way, and Sally lands on her feet! But Biggs gets up and has enough time to give her a Dropkick to the Knee, dropping her to one knee, allowing Biggs to hit with the Shining Wizard! As Sally is down, he grabs both of her legs, steps through, and applies the Sharpshooter! He has the move in deep in the center of the ring!
Chase: Biggs has won many a match with this move! In fact, it got him his second Overdrive Championship!
Harvey: Sally is going to have to do all she can to fight through the pain!
The fans are chanting for Sally, trying to will her on as Biggs has the move on as tight as he can! Sally tries to drag herself to the ropes, but Biggs is quite simply bigger and stronger than her, preventing her from making any progress. Sally realizes that her best hope would be to try and reverse the hold, so she positions herself to grab a hold of Biggs' leg, pulling on it to bring Biggs to the mat! She then reverses into a Sharpshooter of her own! Biggs crawls to the ropes and gets a hand on the bottom ropes, forcing Sally to break the hold!
Harvey: How embarrassing would it have been for Biggs to lose to his own move!?
Chase: That's a hypothetical question that doesn't deserve a response!
The ref forces Sally to take a few steps back to allow Biggs to get up to his feet. Once he's up, Sally comes rushing towards him, and Biggs counters with a Back Body Drop that sends Sally flying to the arena floor! Biggs takes a few steps back and jumps onto the top ropes, nailing Sally with a Springboard Shooting Star Press to the outside! The fans stand in awe of the move, but still continue to boo the General Manager as he slowly gets to his feet and rolls Sally back into the ring! He slides in himself, and pulls Sally up, hooking her in position for the Starmaker! Before he can deliver it, though, Sally gives him an elbow to the side of the head, preventing the move! She goes for the Makeover, but Biggs grabs the rope and stays on his feet as she falls backwards to the mat! Biggs has a determined look in his eyes as he reaches down to pull her up, but on the way up, she grabs a hold of his head, pulls it in close to hers, and plants a big smooch right on the lips! Sally kisses Biggs deeply, and he tries to break out, shoving her away! As he stands there in disgust, spitting the taste of the kiss out of his mouth, Sally grabs him and hits with the Makeover, pinning him 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winner: Sally Talfourd Ferrari: Here is your winner, by pinfall, and moving on to the second round of the Test for the Best Tournament, Sally Talfourd! The ref raises Sally's arm in victory as she dances about the ring to “StarStrukk” as the fans cheer at the top of their lungs! Sally looks down to Biggs, who is holding his face in pain, and has an upset look on his face as he comes to. She gives him a flirty wave before leaving the ring and making her way back up the ramp! Harvey: It was a kiss that sealed the deal for Sally Talfourd! Her and Biggs had a great match to open the tournament, and if this is what we can expect from the rest of our matches here tonight, this could be the best Test for the Best tourney ever!Chase: That was a dirty way to win the match, morally and otherwise! Still, I bet a lot of the men in the audience right now wish they were Biggs!Sally continues to celebrate by slapping fives with the fans as she heads up the ramp while Biggs is livid in the ring!

Harvey: Lets take a look at the tournament brackets so farChase: We just saw Sally Talfourd defeat Biggs to advance to the semi finals. So lets see what match we have next.Tony: The following contest is a quarter finals match for the Test for the Best Tournament "King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. As the heavy metal guitar solo comes to an end out comes John comes out wearing his normal wrestling attire with his "The Retribution Killer" shirt on. Tony: Introducing first, From Atlanta Georgia. Weighing in at 265 pounds. JOHN GREENJohn walks down the ramp with a smile on his face as he slaps some of the hands of fans as he walks past them. Before entering the ring he stops in front of the squared circle looking into the ring and lets out a grin before sliding into the ring and standing in the middle of it. Green closes his eyes and takes a huge breath before running to the ropes and shaking the top one forcefully. He then lets out a monsterous roar and beats his chest. He walks to the turnbuckle and climbs them to the second rope and points to himself and then once again does his trademarked "Retribution" pose. Harvey: A little technical wrestling here from John.
Chase: Last year, John Green made it to the finals before losing to Jesse Nunez. So we know John is looking to win the whole thing this year.
Harvey: And to win this tournament, you need to win three matches, so I think John is pacing himself right now.
Blade gets to his feet and gets his arm free by punching John a few times and then chops him. John comes back and chops Blade. Blade comes back and chops John again. John goes for another chop, but Blade blocks it and then kicks John In the gut and throws him into the corner. Blade runs at John, who gets an elbow up in Blades face. The fans cheer and Blade begins stomping on John and pulls him up, puts him in the corner and begins punching and kicking him before grabbing him out of the corner and giving him a falling neck breaker. Blade covers 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick Out.
Blade then picks John up and throws him into the ropes and catches John with the Abdominal Stretch. The ref gets in position checking on John as Blade stretches John.
Chase: Here’s a question. Has anyone ever submitted to this move?
Harvey: I don’t think so. We might have the first Abdominal Stretch submission here tonight!
After about a minute of fighting the pain, John is able to get out of the move by hip tossing Blade to the mat. Blade gets up and John nails him in the face with a jumping knee and then throws him into the ropes, but Blade reverses it, puts his head down, but John comes back with a Knee Smash counter. Blade stumbles back near the ropes and John kicks Blade and goes for the head splitter, but Blade counters with a back drop, sending John over the top rope, but John lands on the ring apron. Chase: A close match this is. Still anyone’s match at this point.
John struggles to his feet and Blade gets behind John and gives him a German Suplex. John is laid out in the middle of the ring and Blade points to the turn buckle and the crowd cheers.

She walks down to the ring, ringing her hands as she goes; focused on the match, ignoring the nobodies boo-ing her as she passes them. She walks up the steps, steps through the ring and looks to the skies again. After a moment's pause, she casts a mocking look over the crowd before she removes her khimar, folding it and handing it over to the official. She flicks her hair out a few times then rolls her shoulders over a few times, warming up for the match. Test for the Best Round 1 Match Young Mannie Vs Leila Farrahi

Mannie struggles and is able to pull himself to the bottom rope. Leila lets go of the hold at the 4 count from the ref and Mannie goes to the outside and Damien Walker has a little pep talk with Mannie.
Harvey: Leila is a favorite to win this tournament and Mannie has his hands full with her.
Chase: Mannie is considered an underdog in this tournament, but that could be his advantage.
Leila waits in the ring as Mannie and Damien separate. As they get on opposite sides of the ring, Damien jumps up on the ring apron, long enough to distract Leila and the ref. Mannie slides into the ring and then attacks Leila from behind. Mannie grabs a hand full of Leila’s hair and slams her hard to the mat. Mannie then stomps on Leila’s face. Mannie picks her up and snap suplexes her and goes for a cover 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Kick Out

Harvey: Mannie needs to stay on Leila if he wants to win.
Chase: Leila has shown time and time again that she can fight with any man in APW.
Mannie picks Leila up and throws her into the ropes and puts his head down and Leila jumps over him with a sunset flip 1 . . . . . 2 . . . Kick out.
They both get up and Leila kicks Mannie in the side of the leg and then connects Mannie in the chin with a jumping round house kick when sends Mannie stumbling backwards into the corner. Leila goes over and gives Mannie a double handed chop and then another. Leila throws Mannie to the opposite corner and she goes to run at him, but Damien Walker grabs her foot. Leila tries to pull her leg free and as soon as she does, Mannie is running and crushes her in the corner.
Harvey: Gotta give Mannie credit, he’s doing what it takes to try and win this match.
Chase: This is a side of you I never heard of before.
Harvey: Well, with two bad guys in this match, I gotta root for one of them.
Mannie grabs Leila from behind, giving her a side belly to back suplex. Mannie pulls her up by her hair and gives her a Cradle DDT! Mannie covers for the pin 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Shoulder up.
Mannie picks Leila up and slams her near the corner and begins climbing the top rope with his back to the ring. Leila covers 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Kick Out
Harvey: Nice move there by Leila
Chase: The ref better stay out of the way so he doesn’t cost Mannie the match like he almost did right there.
Mannie gets to his feet and Leila goes to throw him towards the corner, but Mannie reverses it and Leila runs up the corner and nails Mannie with the Whisper in the Wind, landing on Mannie in a pin fall. 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Kick Out.

Harvey: What a tournament we have so far. Lets look at the bracketsChase: And with the process of elimination, we know that the final quarter final match is between Shaun Kilgore and Criss Cassidy.Harvey: It doesn't matter who wins because the semi finals and finals will be exciting.Chase: Lets go to the ring.Tony: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a first round match in the Test for the Best Tournament!"The Destination Is There" booms over the PA system, and the fans boo their lungs out as "The Excellent Gordie" Gordon Heath appears from behind the curtain, still in a wheelchair, with "The Showstopper" Shaun Kilgore pushing him out to the ring. Tony: Making his way to the ring first, accompanied by “the Excellent Gordie” Gordon Heath, weighing in at 247 pounds, from Colleyville, Texas, “The Showstopper” Shaun Kilgore!Harvey: Well folks, so far we've seen Sally Talfourd, John Green, and Leila Farrahi advance in the tournament! This match will decide who the final person to move on to round two is going to be!Chase: Kilgore has only suffered one defeat since he arrived here in APW, and is a darkhourse favorite to win this tournament outright! They taunt and laugh at the fans, with Shaun daring several ringside fans to try and hit him. Gordie stays seated in his wheelchair outside of the ring, further chastising the fans as Shaun slides into the ring, walking over to one of the corners and climbing to the middle turnbuckle, putting his arms up in the air as if he's holding an invisible beach ball, also referred to as the Randy Orton pose. The lights in the arena go off as red lights flash in a form of a cross in front of the entrance. "Second Coming" by Juelz Santana suddenly blasts through the speakers as smoke fills the ramp and Criss Cassidy slides through the curtains and onto the main stage. The lights come back on as Cassidy makes his way to the ring dressed in a dark red trench coat with the hood over his head. Tony: And his opponent, weighing in at 205 pounds, from Brooklyn, New York, “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy!Chase: Cassidy won his first match here in APW by being one of the three men to qualify for the Test for the Best Tournament thanks to the Last Chance Battle Royale! You can bet he doesn't want to waste this opportunity this early in his APW Career!Harvey: Cassidy is an extremely talented performer in that ring, and brings a high speed, high impact style that can really throw his opponents off! I really like this match up right here!A large diamond chain with a holy cross pendant hangs from his neck as Cassidy walks up the steps and slides into the ring. With both men in the ring, the ref quickly pats them down to make sure there's no foreign objects, and once he's done, calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Test for the Best: Round 1 ”The Showstopper” Shaun Kilgore vs. “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy
Right as the bell rings, both men tie up in the middle of the ring, and Cassidy uses his speed to pull of a quick standing switch, getting behind Kilgore and hooking him up for a series of Triple German Suplexes! He goes for a quick cover, but doesn't even get a one count! As Kilgore gets up, he's greeted with a Roundhouse Kick to the face, taking him back down to the mat! Cassidy motions for his opponent to get back up, and as he does so, he nails him with a Spinning Heel Kick! He keeps on the pressure, pulling Kilgore up to his feet and whipping him to the ropes, running after him to hit with a Stinger Splash! As Kilgore stumbles out of the corner, Cassidy hooks him up for a Fisherman's Suplex, and hits it, bridging his back for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore kicks out!
Harvey: Cassidy is hitting Kilgore with a very high octane offense early in this match, trying to finish this one quickly!
Chase: This could pay off huge for Cassidy if he's able to get a quick win, because in order to win this tournament, you need to win three matches in one night! A short match in the first round will only help your chances! But if Kilgore can weather the storm, Cassidy's expending a lot of energy in the early goings of this fight!
Harvey: We haven't seen much of Cassidy thus far, but I've got to assume that with the in-ring style he uses, he's got to have excellent conditioning!
Cassidy grabs a hold of Kilgore's head, and begins to pull him up to a standing position, but on the way up, Kilgore gives him a hard elbow to the gut, and pops up to his feet, giving Cassidy a quick Release Belly-to-Belly Suplex! As Cassidy makes his way back up, he gets drilled with a Running Clothesline from Kilgore! Kilgore sits Cassidy up, and places his knee right between the shoulder blades of the “Second Coming” before applying a vicious Chin Lock!
Chase: This is a smart move by Kilgore, as he doesn't want Cassidy dictating the pace of this match!
Kilgore knows that he's not going to get Cassidy to tap to the Chin Lock, but he keep the hold on regardless, trying to wear down his speedy opponent. Gordon Heath is shouting instructions to Kilgore from the outside, and the fans get a “Kilgore sucks! Kilgore sucks!” chant going! “The Showstopper” pays no attention to the mocking of the crowd as he stays focused on his opponent, torquing the head and neck even more as he pulls back even harder! After having the hold in for well over a minute, Kilgore lets go, and grabs a hold of Cassidy's arms, pulling his knee back before drilling it right between Cassidy's shoulder blades again and again! After about three shots, Kilgore releases the arm, and lets Cassidy flop backwards to the mat! As Cassidy lays on the mat, Kilgore runs to the opposite ropes, and goes for the Rolling Thunder, but Cassidy gets his knees up, sending them into the back of Kilgore! This gives Cassidy a moment to recover, and both men are to their feet at roughly the same time! Kilgore throws a punch, which Cassidy blocks! Cassidy responds with a punch of his own, but Kilgore blocks that one as well! Both men go back and forth, trading punches, but having their efforts blocked, until Kilgore takes a cheap shot, kicking Cassidy right above the knee cap! He shoots Cassidy into the ropes, and on the rebound, lifts him up for a ring shaking Sidewalk Slam! He hooks the leg 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy kicks out!
Harvey: It looks like the momentum has shifted firmly towards Kilgore.
Chase: Yep! The Showstopper is in complete control of this match!
Kilgore stays on the attack, stomping his opponent a few times before pulling him up to his feet and giving him a couple of knees to the midsection before lifting him up in position for a Vertical Suplex! However, as Kilgore has Cassidy suspended in the air, he drives his knee into the crown of Kilgore's head repeatedly, trying to break the hold! Cassidy succeeds in this endeavor, and Kilgore begins to fall towards the mat! Cassidy adjusts his weight in midair so that he falls onto Kilgore with a sort of Crossbody, covering him 1
. . 2 . . . Kilgore gets his shoulder up!
Harvey: Clever counter there from Cassidy!
Cassidy tries to press the advantage, giving Kilgore a couple of quick Standing Elbow Drops before locking in a Crucifix Armbar! He has to hold in tight, and Kilgore grits his teeth in pain! Gordon Heath is on the outside, yelling at Kilgore to not give in! Cassidy is pulling on Kilgore's arm hard, trying to hyper-extend his elbow joint. Kilgore is trying to drag himself and Cassidy towards the ropes, making to the bottom rope after about a minute and a half of mighty struggling! The fans boo as the ref starts the mandatory five count, and Cassidy lets go at four, and Kilgore quickly rolls out of the ring to try and regain his composure. Heath rolls over to talk with Kilgore, while the ref starts the 10 count!
“1!”
“2!”
As Kilgore and Heath continue to talk, Cassidy flips out onto the apron, and jumps up, springing off the ropes to deliver a Springboard Moonsault Body Press! Kilgore sees him coming, and shoves Heath's wheelchair out of the way, taking the brunt of the move! The fans pop at the move, and the ref re-begins the count!
“1!”
“2!”
Harvey: A high risk move from Cassidy that pays off!
Chase: But what did it take out of Cassidy?!
“3!”
“4!”
Cassidy is starting to stir, while Kilgore is still out on the floor.
“5!”
“6!”
Cassidy pulls himself up to his feet, and rolls back into the ring as Gordon Heath continues to yell at Kilgore to get back into the ring! He begins to try and push himself back up.
“7!”
“8!”
Kilgore has himself up to his knees, and Cassidy is looking very confident, thinking that he's on the verge of victory.
“9!”
Kilgore slides back into the ring at just the last second! As he pops back up, Cassidy goes for a Corkscrew Body Press, but Kilgore ducks underneath, sending Cassidy crashing into the mat! Kilgore pulls him back up to his feet, and keeps a hold of his arm, pulling him in for a Short Arm Clothesline! He keeps a hold of Cassidy's arm, and pulls him back up to give him another Short Arm Clothesline! After the third Short Arm Clothesline, Kilgore goes for pitfall 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy kicks out again!
Harvey: Another near fall for Kilgore!
Chase: Missing the Corkscrew Body Press really cost Cassidy here!
Kilgore slams his fist into the mat, and pulls Cassidy up by the head, whipping him to the ropes, and catching him with a Hiptoss, and on the way down, delivers a Neckbreaker, hitting with the F'N Neckbreaker! He goes for another pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy kicks out once more!
Harvey: Kilgore just can't put Cassidy away!
Kilgore is starting to show more signs of frustration, but stays on the attack, giving Cassidy a couple of punches to the face before dragging him back up to his feet. He shoots Cassidy into the ropes, and Cassidy ducks the Clothesline on the rebound, bouncing off the opposite ropes to go for a Flying Crossbody! Kilgore catches him midair, and goes for a Fallaway Slam, but as he releases Cassidy, Cassidy lands on his feet! As Kilgore turns around, he gets clocked in the crown of the head with a Pele Kick! Kilgore flops to the mat, and Cassidy pulls him back up, delivering a Side Russian Leg Sweep!
Harvey: Cassidy could be setting up for the Nightmare here!
Chase: If he hits with it, this one is over!
Cassidy makes his way up to the ropes, and motions for the Nightmare before jumping off the ropes! Kilgore rolls out of the way in the nick of time! Cassidy crashes and burns, and Kilgore gets up to his feet, pulls Cassidy up, and hits with The Ender! He hooks the leg 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy somehow kicks out! Kilgore is in shock as he begins to pull his hair and pleads with the ref that it was a three count!
Harvey: Cassidy just won't give up!
Chase: Well, with a shot at the APW Heavyweight Championship in the balance, do you think anybody would give up!?
Heath is yelling for Kilgore to stay focused, and “The Showstopper” listens to his manager, mounting Cassidy and delivering a series of rapid fire punches to the side of the head! He goes for another pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy kicks out again! Kilgore is getting extremely frustrated, and pulls Cassidy up by the head, whipping him towards the corner! Cassidy reverses the whip, sending Kilgore to the corner! He hits with another Stinger Splash! Cassidy then pushes Kilgore up onto the top turnbuckle, and then climbs up the turnbuckle himself, lifting him up and hitting with a Brainbuster from the second rope! The fans cheer for the move, and Cassidy motions that he's trying to end it. He pulls Kilgore up, and lifts him up into a Crucifix position, following up with The Crucifixion! (Crucifix Powerbomb) He goes for the cover 1 . . . 2 . . . Kilgore rolls his shoulder up just at the last second!
Harvey: The near falls are coming more often as this match continues on! We could be nearing the end!
Chase: I don't see this one lasting much longer.
Cassidy pulls Kilgore back up to his feet, and lifts him in position for another Crucifixion! Kilgore wriggles out, and grabs Cassidy for the Ender, but Criss shoves Kilgores hand out of the way, and then kicks him, lifts him up and nails another Crucifixion. Criss makes the cover 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winner: Criss Cassidy Ferrari: Here is your winner and moving on to the second round of Test for the Best, “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy!"Second Coming" by Juelz Santana blares over the speakers as the ref raises Cassidys arm in victory! Kilgore is out on the mat as Heath yells for him to get up! The fans are cheering loudly as Cassidy gloats in the ring! Harvey: Woohoo! Criss Cassidy goes onto the second round!Chase: Criss Cassidy is the biggest cheat in APW history. Did you see him spit in the eye of Shaun to counter The Ender. Harvey: That was quite the performance from both competitors, but you gotta think that that match took a lot out of Criss heading into the second round!Cassidy rolls out of the ring as his music continues to play. The ref checks on Kilgore, who's coming to. When Kilgore realizes what happened, he grits his teeth and slaps the mat hard. Cassidy is on top of the world as he celebrates up the ramp.

Shane West is standing backstage with a grin a mile wide, sprung across his face. He’s dressed a nice suit and holds the microphone standing tall and proud, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his special guest.
Shane: Hello, folks watching live and millions more watching at home! Tonight, I am filling in for Cindy Shannon who filed a request that she not carry out this interview in fear of her health so I in turn, figured I’d help here out and created a petition to fill in for her! Needless to say, I got the one signature I needed from General Manger, Biggs and here I am!
Shane’s smile quickly fades as he immediately grows humble, fearing that he disrespected his special guest, already. That’s the last thing, he of all people would want to do.
Shane: Enough about me; because tonight it’s about my special guest! It’s about the greatest wrestler this sport has ever seen since it’s inception, Level-One! And he’s joining me to talk about his match with that other guy, Bryan Payne!
The camera slowly pans over to Level-One standing beside Shane, emotionless. The crowd in the audience, immediately boos. A few cheers can be heard though, if you strained your ears hard enough. Shane once again has bright smile on his face as he carries out an interview, he’s quick to dub as an honour.
Shane: Level-One before we start, let me just ask you… are you going to kick me in the face? color]
Level-One closes his eyes tightly, grabbing the microphone, pulling Shane’s arm up to his face.
Level-One: No, Shane. I’m not going to kick you in the face. You know why I am not going to kick you in the face, Shane? Because you aren’t my enemy. I am focussed. I only have one person tonight I need to shove my boot down their throat and that is Bryan Payne, all in the name of the APW world championship.
Level-One throws Shane’s hand away from his face, clearly ready for a fight. Shane’s eyes expand wide as if he channelled the adrenaline pumping through Level-One’s veins.
Shane: Level-One, last week you attacked Bryan Payne’s younger brother, Tim. While I saw this move as a genius strategically manoeuvre worthy of every play book to success around; others with perhaps a lower IQ saw it as a bad move, as if you gave Bryan Payne another reason to defeat you here tonight. What are your thoughts on such ridiculous claims?
Level-One: Well, your right about one thing, Shane. Those certainly are ridiculous claims. We all know what happens to a fighter who no longer fights for himself. We all know what happens to a fighter who let’s his emotions dictate the way he approaches match. Finally, we all know what happens when a fighter see’s a APW world title match as rubber grudge match. They inflict damage. They’ll cut you up. Though at some point, they lose sight of what really matters; winning. I don’t doubt Bryan Payne will hit me harder then he otherwise would have but that’s not going to win him the match. If Bryan Payne comes into this match fighting for his favourite little punching bag, push over, little brother… then he just made winning, easier then even I anticipated.
Shane smiles clearly enjoying the answer he has heard. Truth be told, it didn’t matter what Level-One had said, Shane was a fan.
Shane: Level-One at Mayhem, Bryan Payne was lucky enough to defeat you in a singles match for what was considered as the number 1 contender match to determine who was to face Pence Weatherlight at Test for the best 2010. How does this effect you and him going into tonight’s main event?
Level-One merely scoffs at the question taking a rather casual approach to it all.
Level-One: To be honest, it doesn’t. I’m sure it has increased Bryan Payne’s confidence in hopes maintaining his Cinderella story, but the shoe isn’t going to fit his foot in the end. If anything, my loss to Bryan Payne at Mayhem only added emphasis on how important winning this match tonight really is. You know, maybe Bryan Payne does have a little fire within him. Maybe, he does have a spark. And perhaps, the hype around him is justified; but tonight, I blow out the candles to his birthday cake. He’s already made his wish. It already came true. And now, it’s time for a dose of reality. This is, has been, and will continue to be the year of Level-One.
Shane taps Level-One to his shoulder as if they were best friends. Level-One merely grimaces at Shane which has Shane taking a few steps away, just to stay safe.
Shane: Level-One, I have one last question. Thank your for being so generous for your time. I know you have a Payne in the ass to deal with! It’s the question the whole world has been asking. Who tonight do you feel will win The Test for the best tournament of 2010?
Level-One can’t help but snarl at the comment as he reaches over and tugs the microphone out of Shane’s hands and grabs the camera, pulling it closer to his face.
Level-One: I’m not looking past Bryan Payne… but whoever it is who wins, whichever of you strikes the big pot of gold you better put in the same context in which you do with the value of your life. As far as I’m concerned when I walk out with the APW world championship, tonight? The entire tournament would have just been to determine what’s next up on plate. Congratulations to you all in advance.
Don’t you forget to forgive, Bryan Payne. Your former APW world champion…’’
Level-One shoves the camera as he crashes against the ground. Shane runs towards the camera looking into it’s lens…
Shane: That was awesome!
The camera fizzes out to grey, filled with white noise as we head back to ringside.

Chris then kicks Mark in the ankle and Mark goes down. The fans boo as Chris starts stomping on the Ankle of Mark Moment and the ref then pulls him off. Chase: That’s right, end him Chris.Harvey: Come on, the match is over and the guy can barely walk. The ref tells Chris to exit the ring and he grabs his belt and does. Harvey: We are just one match away from finding out who will face off against Sally Talfourd in the Test for the Best tournament finals.Chase: Who ever it is, it will make for an exciting finals that’s for sure. But I must say, only Leila is deserving on being in the finals even winning this thing. Ferrari: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a Semi-Finals Match in the Test for the Best Tournament!'Astronaut' by Amanda Palmer comes over the arena, the lights fading down to a low light. Suddenly the crowd is engulfed in a wave of green light before Leila walks onto the stage, bathed in the glow of a spotlight. She looks up above her, then raises her hands slightly as the lights return to normal. Ferrari: Making her way to the ring first, weighing in at 130 pounds, from Tehran, Iran, Leila Farrahi!Harvey: Leila defeated Young Mannie in a thrilling contest to reach the second round of this tournament, and she's one step closer to fulfilling her quest to “cleanse” APW and the APW Heavyweight Championship!Chase: While I may disagree with her stance that APW needs to be cleansed, I can't help but think that Leila would certainly make a unique and great champion! Ferrari: And her opponent, weighing in at 205 pounds, from Brooklyn, New York, “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy!!Harvey: Cassidy made it to the second round after a hard fought win over Shaun Kilgore. You can bet Cassidy isn’t very happy that he’s doesn’t get an opportunity to face off against Leila Farrahi again here tonight! The ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Test for the Best: Semi-Finals Criss Cassidy vs. Leila Farrahi
The two immediately lock up, and Cassidy goes for a Vertical Suplex right off the bat, but Leila wraps her foot around his ankle, blocking the attempt! She gives him a couple of hard knees to the gut before whipping him towards the ropes, but Cassidy reverses it, and catches her on the rebound with a Big Boot to the side of the head! As Leila falls to the mat, Cassidy gives her a Standing Elbow Drop, and goes for the quick cover, not even a one count! Cassidy doesn't let it phase him in the slightest, and gets back up to his feet, giving her several vicious stomps to the midsection before grabbing a hold of her head and pulling her back up to her feet by the hair! He lifts her up for a Scoop Slam, sending her hard into the mat! He sits her up, and locks in a wrist lock, trying to make her tap early!
Harvey: Here's a move we haven't seen from Cassidy yet, the wrist lock! This is a painful maneuver! Leila is going to want to get out of this one quickly, otherwise, her wrist will be shot for the rest of the match!
Chase: And with her submission heavy style, Leila can't afford to lose strength in her wrist, because it'll hurt the effectiveness of her holds!
Leila grits her teeth in pain, but contorts her body around to where she's able to deliver a couple of painful kicks right between the eyes of Cassidy, forcing him to break the hold! As they both get to their feet, Leila gives him a quick Double-Handed Chop to the chest, taking him down to the mat! She shakes her wrist a bit, rolling it around to try and regain blood flow to it while she delivers a Standing Knee Drop to the sternum of Cassidy! She then wraps her legs around the head of Cassidy, trapping his arm and applying a Triangle Armbar! It's Cassidy's turn to feel the pain as she wrenches his arm! Criss uses his size advantage to turn over, and uses his free arm to push himself up a bit so he can crawl backwards towards the rope! He gets his foot on the bottom, prompting the ref to start the five count! As expected, Leila waits until the count of four to break the hold, and Cassidy holds his arm in pain as he stays near the ropes to get up! The ref holds Leila back so Criss can get to his feet, and once he's up, he reaches over the ref and gives her a thumb to the eye! The ref doesn't catch it, but it allows Cassidy to drill Leila with a Hard Clothesline, flipping her over and knocking her almost out of her boots! Criss waits for her to get to her feet, runs off the ropes to connect with a Spinning Heel Kick, taking her back to the mat! He goes for another cover 1 . . . Leila kicks out!
Harvey: Just like in the first round, we're going to see numerous pinfall and submission attempts in the second round! John Green and Sally Talfourd had a grueling match, so if Leila or Criss can win this one quickly, it would be a huge advantage for them!
Chase: Especially because Sally gets a little bit longer to rest before the finals.
Criss gets back up to his feet, and motions for Leila to get up. He takes a few steps back and as she makes her way to a vertical base, Criss Cassidy comes rushing in with a Running Big Boot! Leila sees it coming, and ducks under! As he turns around, she gives him a kick to the gut before grabbing his head and delivering the Blood Flow! As she turns him over to pin him, it's revealed that the move bloodied his nose! She hooks the far leg 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy kicks out!
Harvey: Cassidy's nose may be broken! That type of injury wouldn't bode well for him this early in the match, let alone the finals!
Chase: If he can make the finals!? The fact is that even if his nose is just bloodied, and not broken, it'll still affect his ability to breath! If Leila can lock on a submission move that covers his mouth, she may be able to get him to tap because he can't breath! And since it wouldn't technically be a choke hold, the ref couldn't do anything about it!
In fact, that's just what Leila has in mind, as she rolls Cassidy onto his belly, and applies an STF, placing her hands right beneath his nose and covering his mouth! The fans are on their feet in anticipation of the tap out, but Cassidy is holding on with all that he's got! Criss see’s then begin hitting the left wrist of Leila which is placed under his chin. She releases the hold, and grabs her wrist in pain as Cassidy gets to his feet, grabs Leila and throws her between the top and middle turn buckle, her head making contact with the ring post. Blood starts coming down on the face of Leila as Criss pulls her to the middle of the ring and Cassidy covers Leila 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . She gets the shoulder up! Cassidy can't believe it, and a look of shock comes over his face as his nose continues to bleed!
Harvey: Cassidy tried to take a short cut there, but wasn't able to put Leila away!
Chase: Could you blame him?! By this point in the match, both of them have already fought grueling first round contests, and are now bleeding! I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them going for home run shots with each and every move to try and end this match as soon as possible!
Cassidy is wiping the blood from his nose as he makes his way back up to his feet, and has a very angry look in his eyes as he walks in towards Leila, grabbing her by the hair and helping her back up. He gives her a couple of punches to the forehead before shooting her to into the corner! He runs at her, this time connecting with the Spear! Leila falls to a seated position in the corner, and Cassidy grabs a hold of the top rope, placing his boot into the throat of Leila! The ref starts the five count, and Cassidy pulls back at four! The ref admonishes him and tells him to back up, but Cassidy doesn't heed the ref's warnings, placing his boot into Leila's throat once more! The fans are booing loudly, not because he's hurting Leila, but because he's blatantly cheating! Again, the ref starts the count, and again, Cassidy lets up on four! He then reaches back down, pulling Leila back up to her feet, and grabbing her in a Side Headlock, placing her forehead on the ropes, and dragging it back and forth across the ropes!
Chase: This is an incredibly nasty move by Cassidy here, made even more nasty by the fact that Leila is busted open on the forehead!
Harvey: Not only will she get wicked rope burn, but her cut could get infected!
As the ref is yelling at Cassidy, making the four count, Leila kicks her leg back up behind her, nailing Cassidy in the nuts behind the ref's back! The ref doesn't see it, and she shoots an elbow into Cassidy's gut to hide the fact that she hit the lowblow, and Cassidy lets go and falls to the mat in pain! The fans are booing Leila with just as much venom as they were Cassidy!
Harvey: This match has a really interesting dynamic in that the fans could care less about either one of these wrestlers! Neither one will be able to draw the support of the crowd, but I don't think that'll bother them, because both Leila and Criss Cassidy are used to being booed!
As Cassidy is laid out on the mat, Leila quickly climbs the turnbuckles, and takes a look back to make sure he's still down before jumping up and nailing a beautiful Split-Legged Moonsault! She hooks the leg 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . Cassidy kicks out!
Chase: I thought for sure she had Cassidy there! A shot to the jollies followed by that move would keep most any man down!
Leila is upset about not getting the win on that exchange, but stays focused, turning Cassidy onto his belly, and hooking him into position for a Surfboard type maneuver. She falls back to a seated position, locking in the Seated Surfboard on her taller opponent! Leila is bending Cassidy's back in a way that the human back shouldn't be bent, and Cassidy can be heard screaming in pain. The ref asks Cassidy if he wants to give up, and Cassidy yells, “NO!” Leila's hands slip out from beneath Cassidy's chin and towards his mouth, and he takes advantage of this, biting Leila's hands to force her to break the hold! The ref is yelling at Cassidy loudly, telling him that the next time he breaks the rules, he will disqualify him! Leila is shaking her hands as both her and Cassidy make their way up to their feet, with Cassidy getting up just slightly quicker. He charges in for a Clothesline, but Leila counters with a Quick Dropkick to the face, dropping him to the mat! She then slaps on a Guillotine Choke, trying to make Cassidy pass out!
Harvey: Leila keeps applying submission holds to Cassidy, systematically wearing down each and every body part, but primarily focusing on the face and throat!
Chase: Well, she's already bloodied his nose, and anything else she can do to impede his ability to breath will go that much further in securing the victory for herself!
Cassidy looks to be fading as he struggles to break free from the hold, but to no avail! After a couple of minutes, his arms go limp! The ref checks the arm, raising it up, and it falls limply. “1!” He raises it up again, and again, it falls to the mat! “2!”
Harvey: Leila could be on the verge of victory right here!
The ref raises Cassidy's arm up once more, and as it starts to fall back to the mat, Cassidy gets it up just in the nick of time! The ref waves off the knockout, and Cassidy struggles some more to break the hold! He gets a second wind, and powers his way out of the move, leaving Leila on her back! He quickly jumps up and over, nailing her on the throat with a Leg Drop! He then immediately pulls her up to deliver his Russian leg sweep! Rather than going for a pin, he makes his way up to the top turnbuckle, and strikes a pose, and leaps off with The Nightmare (Shooting Star into a frog Splash)! He pins Leila 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . . She kicks out at the last possible moment! The fans are on their feet, cheering for the effort that both of these competitors are putting forth, if not for the competitors themselves!
Harvey: These fans may hate Leila Farrahi and Criss Cassidy, but they know a good match when they see one, and are on their feet for the gutsy performances their seeing right now!
Chase: Both of them are bloodied and beaten, but neither will stay down for anything! There's too much at stake!
Both Criss and Leila are at wits end, exhausted, and are slow to get up to their feet. Cassidy is up first, and grabs a hold of Leila, whipping her towards the ropes! She ducks the attempted Clothesline, and jumps off the opposite ropes to hit with a Springboard Dropkick to the chest of Cassidy! As he's down on the mat, she quickly jumps up and connects with a Jumping Knee Drop to the nose, trying to cause further damage to the bloodied nose! Rather than going for the pin, she pulls him back up and whips him chest first into the turnbuckle with such force that it knocks him backwards into the mat! She then mounts the turnbuckle! As he slowly gets up to his feet, he has his back turned to her. Leila takes advantage of this, and jumps off, landing onto his shoulders! She looks like she's going to go for a Victory Roll, but before she can, Cassidy counters with an Electric Chair Drop, falling backwards and catching the back of her head on the turnbuckle! Her head snaps forward sickeningly as the impact is made, and she holds her head in pain as Cassidy goes for the quick cover, trying to capitalize 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Leila gets a foot on the rope! The fans are in a frenzy at this point, amazed by all the counters and near falls! “This match rules! This match rules!” they chant as Cassidy looks a his opponent in disbelief!
Harvey: This is one of the darnedest matches I've ever seen! Just when you think it's over, they prove you wrong!
Chase: This match has been absolutely brutal, and whoever makes it to the finals will truly have earned it!
Cassidy pulls Leila's leg off the rope, hooking it, and going for another cover 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . She gets her shoulder up! Cassidy has a wild look in his eyes, a look that says, “What the heck do I have to do to put her away?!” He puts his frustrations aside, and pulls her back up to her feet, whipping her towards the corner! However, Leila shows impressive reflexes, running up the turnbuckle and leaping backwards to drill him with a Whisper in the Wind! Leila hooks the leg 1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . Cassidy kicks out!
Harvey: What is it going to take for one of these two to win this match!?
Chase: I don't know! They're probably going to have to darn well nearly kill the other one to get the victory here tonight!
Leila stays focused, not allowing her frustration to take control. As Cassidy is laid out, she gets to her feet, waiting for him to get up. As he slowly makes his way to his feet, she goes for a Shaam Superkick! Cassidy barely dodges the move, and kicks Leila, lifting her up and slamming her into the mat with The Crucifixion! He goes for the pin 1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winner: “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy Ferrari: Here is your winner, by pinfall, and moving on to the Test for the Best finals, "The Second Coming" Criss CassidyHarvey: What a match! Cassidy hit with a perfectly timed counter, and put Leila away with The Crucifixion! Still, this one could have gone either way right up to the end!Chase: And I can‘t believe this new guy has made it to the finals. We may be looking at a future Heavyweight champion. But I think Sally Talfourd has something to say about it, as they will face each other in the finals.!Criss celebrates his victory as we go to a promo video for the Xtreme Scramble match.

Harvey: I am pumped for this match folks should be a hell of a war. Chase: I can't wait, with these odds Michael Lively will have next to no chance to keep the title, or come out the winner...ooooh!!!Harvey: Well easy fellow sounds like you are popping a rod over there. Tony Ferrari takes center ring with the microphone. Tony: Ladies and Gentleman this is your Xtreme Scramble match for the APW Xtreme championship!!! The crowd roars with approval as the lights dim slightly. The Seed by The Roots punishes the loudspeakers and assaults the APW faithful eardrums as Crazy Joe pops out from behind the curtain. Tony: From Boston Mass, standing 6'3" tall weighing in at 350 pounds....he is CRAZY JOE!!!!The first man in this match looks around, takes a deep breath and raises his arm airborne. He walks down the ramp with his eyes centered on the ring stopping half way down the ramp. Just behind the hand picked first contender is an explosion of pyro shooting out red and gold sparks. The fans eat up the show as Crazy Joe then hits the ring slowly walking up the stairs. The masked man quickly hops over the ropes bouncing up and down with anticipation for this blood bath to begin. His music begins to fade as Tony starts to announce the next man. Blue strobes begin to flicker on the ramp way as the fans know what is coming and start in with their hateful rumblings. Tony: From Fort Lauderdale, FL...standing 6'1" tall, weighing in at 225 pounds...AFI's Miseria Cantare fully engulfs your senses as the sillouette of Michael Lively stands on the rampway. Tony: He is the reigning Xtreme champion...MICHAEL LIVELY!!!!The self proclaimed savior of the sport then struts toward the ring with the Xtreme title dangling between his legs. Chase: There’s a sight, Michael Lively actually carrying the belt to the ring for a change. Harvey: Well it is on the line, and the man said it's a means to an end here in this match. Chase: That it is Harv...survive the time limit as the reigning champion and you walk out the winner. Michael Lively walks up the steps standing outside the ring on the apron looking toward Joe with a smug expression. Joe shakes his head back and forth toward Lively almost letting him know he can't wait to rip into him. The JESUS simply turns that smug look into a shit eating grin and then strikes the I am JESUS pose. Joe offers up the bird as a response and Lively simply turns his back on the challenger while holding the pose. Harvey: There is disrespect from the champion. Chase: OHHH, and a response from the challenger. APW XTREME CHAMPIONSHIP SCRAMBLE MATCH Michael Lively © Vs Crazy Joe Vs Streets Wilson Vs Victor Hades Vs Cooper Conrad
Joe sprints toward Lively who has his back turned on his opponent. Joe leaps in the air bulldogging Lively off the apron to the ground. The ref calls for the bell to start the match. Lively's face impacts the thin mat on the ground outside the ring as Joe quickly gets to his feet as the fans roar with approval. Joe flips the mat over exposing the concrete and drive a boot to the side of Lively who was rising to his knees. Joe hooks Lively's head in his grasp grabs some tights to get an added lift and Crazy DDT's the champion on the concrete. He rolls Lively over and hooks the legs as the entire arena stands on their feet. The ref quickly drops down for the pin as every voice jammed in the building counts along. 1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . 3
Tony: YOUR NEW XTREME CHAMPION: CRAZY JOE!!!
Harvey: YES!!!! YES!!! YES!!! OH GOD YES!!!
Chase: Dude relax...you are creeping me out over here.
Harvey: Michael Lively just lost the Xtreme title...
Chase There is a lot of match left, and this dangerous snake in the grass can do anything.
Harvey: NO...this is it, the end of Michael Lively I can taste it Johnny...I can taste it!!
Joe unstraps the Xtreme title from around the waste of Michael Lively as the fans scream with excitement. Crazy Joe hoists the title in the air as Michael Lively lays on his stomach clutching his forehead. Joe brings the belt down, and the spits on the championship...
Chase: What the hell...
Harvey: Why would he...
Joe then whips the title across Lively's back a few times leaving large red welts. The newly crowned champion for the moment tosses the custom made Xtreme title down spitting on it once more and then asks for a microphone. The fans not sure what he is doing, or his intentions.
Crazy Joe: Lively you were right that title means jack sh**!!!
The fans boo as Joe agrees with Lively.
Crazy Joe: So bring out the REAL Xtreme title....
Just then a referee comes running out with the original Xtreme championship made of a garbage can lid, extension cord with barbed wire and such hot glued to it.
Harvey: The original APW Xtreme championship that Lively declared was the new Bum fight title is BACK!!!
Joe hoists the title that he just captured into the air as the fans are right back into the love fest. Michael Lively stands shaking off the cob webs and Joe quickly jumps into action to insure he remains champion. Crazy charges Lively bouncing the O.G. title of his skull. The barbed wire slices the forehead of the former champion and blood starts to pool on his head. Joe picks up Lively causing the puddle to now run down his face and rolls him into the ring. Lively quickly backs into a corner trying to gather his thoughts as Joe lifts the ring skirt up grabbing for an assortment of weapons stashed underneath the ring. Crazy tosses two trash cans full of goodies into the ring and follows the arsenal in. Lively still in the corner powers himself up charging across the ring toward his opponent. Michael Lively supermans in the air with a shoulder tackle and Joe simply dropped out of harms way. Lively crashes into the corner turnbuckles and stagers backward. Joe gets to his feet and welcomes Lively out of the corner with a computer printer to the head he picked up. Lively falls flat sideways on the mat as the crowd continues the momentum built behind Joe by chanting his name. The current Xtreme champion drags Lively to his feet and peppers the open wound on his head causing blood to splatter. Joe then hooks him in a reverse leg sweep violently smashing Lively's face into a trash can full of hardcore items. Michael Lively stamps his blood seal of approval on the can before laying face down on the mat. The fans explode with excitement as the tron comes to life with a twenty second timer.
The crowd and Joe both look on waiting for the next entrant to the Scramble match and as Absolute Power by Tech9 ushers in a wave of cheers and the next entrant...
Tony: The next Entrant into the Xtreme Scramble Match is....THE CHOOSEN ONE COOPER CONRAD!!!
Chase: The new member to the APW roster has a hell of an opportunity before him.
Harvey: Anyone but Lively, I just want anyone but Lively to walk out the winner.
Conrad struts out of the curtain stops briefly as the current champion stares him down. The Choosen One then has a look cover over him as if he forgot something and turns around. Seconds latter the new comer emerges from the curtain with a shopping cart overloaded with goodies. The crowd pops as they can't wait for this match to get out of control. Conrad charges the ring parking the cart against the apron. Conrad tosses a wooden crate into the ring loaded with various items, then picks up a Craftsman tool chest setting it upright next to the shopping cart. Joe having enough baseball slides the grocery cart into the back of Conrad. He exits the ring and the two begin exchanging blows. Conrad hooks one of Joe's arms and then arm and neck suplexes the man up and over into the Craftsman tool box. Joe topples the red chest over as his head collides with the steel. The fans cheer for the mayhem and Conrad reaches into the shopping cart pulling out another item.
Harvey: Is that an iPad??
Chase: It sure is...looks like he's up on his electronics Harv.
Cooper looks like he is checking his email with the iPad then as Crazy Joe stagers to his feet the Choosen One quickly wields the Apple invention as a weapon waffling it over the reigning champions head. Joe falls flat on his back as Cooper drops down for the cover.
1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: The current Xtreme Champion is COOPER CONRAD!!!
Harvey: He just took the title...what a match folks anything could happen as we have lots of time left.
Chase: Wow, I am jacked the odds are so stacked against Lively.
The ref holds up Coopers hand as he is announced the current champion. Michael Lively quickly sprang to his feet right after the three count and leaped to the top turn buckle. As the ref holds the mans hand high Lively jumps out inverting his body into the shooting star leg drop.
Harvey: PRELUDE...Lively just nailed a PRELUDE out on the floor.
Chase: And he's pinning Crazy Joe!
The ref turns around for the count.
1 . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . .
Conrad kicks Lively in the back of the head breaking up the count. He pulls the bloody mess of a messiah to his feet. Lively punches the man in the gut a few times and then gets his own head damn near taken off with a clothesline. Lively hits the mat rolls over and struggles to his feet as he does Conrad gets him in his clutches and T-Bones suplexes the JESUS into the guard railing. Lively's body hits the steel and folds up on the ground. Conrad looks to his shopping cart and holds up a 17" Dell laptop computer almost asking if the fans want to see him ruin the hi tech equipment. Of course the fans roar with pleasure as they quickly chant "CRACKS LIVELY'S SKULL", Conrad stands over Lively's folded up body. Just then Crazy Joe gets to his feet, Conrad senses the man and spins around shattering the plastic casing of the computer of the mans head. Joe falls back to the floor as the people ringside are going nuts. Conrad drops the broken laptop with an evil grin on his face pleased with the destruction he has inflicted in such a short time. Suddenly the beat of the Wu-Tang Clan assault the loud speakers and the fans erupt. Whether or not he likes it Streets Wilson is a fan favorite and when Wu-Tang blares you know the crafty martial artist is not far behind.
Tony: Your next Entrant to the Xtreme Scramble Match is STREETS WILSON!!!
The rugged son of a bitch from Connecticut steps out on the ramp with a BO Staff in hand. Cooper Conrad the current champion see the fresh new competition and bolts up the ramp to meet him head on. As he does Lively gets to his knees seeing Crazy Joe layed out he falls forward pinning the man.
1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: Once again Xtreme champion MICHAEL LIVELY!!!
Conrad turns as the announcement is made and catches the Bo staff to the temple. He drops to one knee as Streets begins a full on Kung Fu style stick whooping as he welts the arms and rigs on Conrad trying to cover up. The man stands and catches the end of the stick right under his chin as Streets quickly spins around sweeping the legs out from under him. Conrad drops to the ramp back first and Street cracks the Bo Staff across his throat and pins the Choosen One.
1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: The current Xtreme champion STREETS WILSON!!!
Lively who had rolled into the ring quickly rolls back out whipping blood from his eyes. He drags Crazy Joe to his feet and slides him into the ring. Livley follows the man in as Streets looks on from the ramp. It seems these two are exchanging words from ring to ramp. Lively turns around and DDT's Joe to the mat. Lively rolls him over and gets a pin as he stares at Streets Wilson.
1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: Once again Xtreme champion MICHAEL LIVELY!!!
Lively stands up looking woozy but hand held high as the current champion. Streets drags Conrad up to his feet and looks at Lively. He then offers up a brutal thumbs strike to the mans throat dropping him like a sack of potatoes. Streets then pins Cooper looking up to the ring as Lively watches on.
1 . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: Once again Xtreme champion STREETS WILSON!!!
Harvey: What are we playing Horse...these two are trading off championship wins here.
Chase: Not for long...Streets grabs his Bo Staff and is heading to the ring.
Lively sees the man and motions for him to come on, Michael then sits on the middle rope almost welcoming Streets on in. Wilson stops just at the bottom of the ring looking up at Lively. The JESUS gets off the ropes and looks at Wilson and spits blood down at him. Wilson just grins as the red spit stains his forehead. The crowd roars as The RZA, GZA, and Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan leap the guard railing sliding into the ring behind Lively. The Gza and the Rza both grab a fluorescent light bulb while Method gets a hold of a barbed wire wrapped steel chair. The Rza and the Gza swing their light bulbs crashing them into Michael Lively's head. The man falls forward hitting the ropes in a cloud of lightbulb dust. Method then cracks the barbed wire steel chair on the back of Lively as Streets splinters Lively's forehead with the Bo Staff. The JESUS falls backward on the mat as the Wu-Tang Clan throw up W's to the crowd and slap Streets Wilson fives as he enters the ring. Wilson picks Lively up who seems to be in tons of pain and hooks him in a high wrist lock, then leaps in the air driving a nasty elbow in the coller bone region of Lively.
Chase: Streets Wilson's Sinister Finisher!!!
Harvey: I hope he killed Lively!!!
By this time Conrad Cooper had regained consciousness and charged toward the ring. He grabbed a steel chair from the grocery cart and leaped onto the apron. As Streets applied the move to Lively Cooper quickly ascended to the top rope and front flip chair shots Streets Wilson in the head. The Martial Artist catches the blow unexpectedly and falls to the mat out cold. Crazy Joe comes to and German suplexes Conrad but the Chosen One flips out landing on his feet. As Joe turns around Conrad drives a boot into the mid section and hooks him in his finisher. Joe powers out of the would be flipping piledriver and back body drops Cooper to the mat. The crowd is brought into a complete frenzy as the music of our last entrant blares over the loud speakers.
Tony: And the final entrant to the Xtreme Scramble Match is VICTOR HADES!!!
The demented one enters the arena as the fans oooohh and ahhh at his presence.
Harvey: Look at that sick bastard he has wrapped his fists in barbed wire and seems to be carrying a crown made of thorns in his left hand.
As Hades is announced and makes his way toward the ring Cooper Conrad is planted head first on the barbed wire steel chair with a Crazy DDT. Joe covers.
1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
Ton: Once again Xtreme champion CRAZY JOE!!!
Joe gets his hand raised in the air and the quickly turns toward Victor Hades who has entered the ring and blasts the current champion with his barb wire covered fists. Lefts and rights begin thrashing the mask in spots and opening up the exposed forehead of the current champion as he is backed into the corner. Hades then whips a few hardcore style Ric Flair chops across the mans chest opening up a few slashes there as well. A bloody mess is Crazy Joe as he gets Irish Whipped into the opposite corner by Hades who charges in with a full head of steam and a cross armed neck strike. As Hades backs off Joe falls to the mat. The fresh man turns toward Streets Wilson grabbing him by the hair as the barb wire sticks into the scalp of the Connecticut bad ass. Hades drives a few knees into the gut of Streets Wilson who was still a little groggy, and then gut wrench power bombs the man upright and tosses him over the top rope onto the shopping cart outside. The weapon loaded cart and Streets Wilson both topple over as the fans chant Holy Shit loudly with all their might.
Cooper Conrad grabs a crutch and waffles the back of Victors head with it. The man staggers sideways a bit and Conrad hoists him up with a back body drop. Hades spins around and starts teeing off with his wire loaded fists on the slightly bloodied forehead of the Choosen one. They fall to the mat as Hades mounts up and keeps swinging. Blood splattering left and right then man outstretches both arms screaming with fury. The rabid wrestler stand looking across the ring at Michael Lively slumped over in the corner covered in blood. Victor charges in driving a boot right through the face of Lively. The JESUS's head whips back and he is drug to his feet in a violent fashion by Hades. Lively is inverted and hung in the corner by the tree of woe. Victor Hades slides out of the ring grabbing two beer bottles from fans and then enters the squared circle pulling a small bottle of gorilla glue from his pocket. He pours the glue on the mat and the cracks one of the bottles over his head laughing as he does letting the galls fall on the glue. He repeats the same with the second bottle then smashes the glass shards with his feet as he steps in the mixture of glue and glass. With a shear look of pleasure the man charges toward Lively who is strung up and with a hop into the air he drives a glass loaded drop kick into the already bloody face of Lively. The man catches both boots to the cheek and upper lip region as blood instantly pours from his face like faucet left on to trickle.
Lively falls down as his legs somehow get free and Hades stands in the ring with blood splattered every which way. The man grabs the crown of throns he brought to the ring with him and lifts Lively to his knees. The man beaten, bloodied, and almost totally out of it gets the sharp thron crown driven into his head with malice from Hades. As he dubbs Lively the new JESUS he steps aside so the camera can catch a good look at the picture of Lively swaying back and forth on his knees with a crown of thorns. Hades then backs up hitting the ropes and big boots Lively's jaw sending him to the mat lifelessly. Hades covers the man as the crowd counts along.
1 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
The current Xtreme champion VICTOR HADES!!!
The ref comes over to raises the barbed wire hand of Hades only to get snarled at. Crazy Joe shakes off his cobb webs and charges across the ring and clubs the back of Hades, and fires off about five nasty shots to the back of his head before driving his opponents skull off the top turn buckle as the crowd counts along. Joe then rips off the turn buckle and smashes Hades into the exposed steel over and over again until blood trickles from the face of the sadistic one. Joe holds Hades up looking at the crimson covered face as Hades simply just smirks and the fans go nuts. Joe smashes the mans skull off the steel once more and drops him with a reverse DDT. Cooper Conrad rushes over with a shinning wizard connecting with the jaw of Joe dropping him to his back. Hades tries to sit up and Conrad drop kicks him back to the mat, grabs a loose stop sign laying on the mat with thumbs tacks glued to it's face, holds it to his chest and performs a standing shooting star press. Hades winces in pain as the sharp tacks pierce his skin. Michael Lively gets to his feet and charges to the corner running up the turnbuckles like a ladder and reaching the top. Before Lively can get the move off his feet are sweep out from under him and he lands on the top turn buckles as Crazy Joe has come back to life. He climbs up to the middle and grabs the waist of Lively. The JESUS blocks the attempted German suplex. by offering up a few elbow shots. Joe reaches up punching the back of Lively's head. Just then the fans burst into excitement as Streets Wilson slides back into the ring. The man grabs the waist of Crazy Joe and attempts to German suplex both Lively and Joe. The JESUS grabs the top ropes holding on and both Joe and Streets pull with all their might.
Quickly Conrad who had sat back a bit waiting for the situation to unfold runs over posts up on Streets Wilson's shoulder hand springing to the top rope and knees Lively in the face. He places the mans head between his legs and front flips as both Streets and Joe German pull of their Germans. Lively's head spikes the mat as Joe crashes down with brutal force. The fans standing on their feet roar for the tower of doom just exploded inside the ring. Conrad rolls to his feet, and Streets Wilson stands looking toward the Chosen One catching a boot from the blonde haired high flyer that doubles him over. Before Wilson can react Conrad nails his flipping piledriver on Wilson, and pins him.
1 . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 3
Tony: The Current Xtreme champion Cooper Conrad.
The timer hits the tron with three minutes left. Conrad stands to his feet looking at the damage he inflicted forgetting about Victor Hades. The sadistic one staggered to his feet and plows through Conrad spearing through the ropes out to the floor. Cooper hits the ground in pain as Hades gets to his feet taking a hockey stick from the cart and swinging for the fences. He cracks the man in the ribs a few times until he turns over trying to protect himself. He smashes the stick over Cooper's ribs. Hades tosses the broken and splintered stick to the ground and reaches under the ring pulling out two small ladders. He sets them up and yanks out another taller ladder and places it across the top rungs making a make shift ladder table outside the ring. Hades climbs the apron and Crazy Joe once again springs into action waffling a clothes iron against the side of Hades head. Joe takes another shot planting it on the sadistic ones forehead and he falls backward on the ladder table. Joe scurries to the top rope and leaps off Swanton bombing Hades sending the table ladder assortment crashing to the ground with Hades and him caught in the mess.
Michael Lively stirs to his feet as does Streets Wilson. Wilson up first slides out of the ring seeing the mess ringside and catches Cooper Conrad with a high roundhouse kick, he tries to spin around with a backfist. Conrad ducks under kicking the man in the gut once more and nailing the Absolute Power (Candaian Destroyer) connecting Wilsons head with the mess of ladder's. Conrad stands as reigning champion looks to the timer and then back at the mess of broken bodies before his feet. A whistle gets his attention and a super kick lands right on his chin as Michael Lively crept up on him. Conrad hits the pile lifelessly. Lively pulls another ladder from under the ring, this one quite large in size, slides it under the bottom rope and sets it up in the ring. The JESUS looks at the timer that is ticking down with less then a minute left and starts his climbs up the twenty foot ladder. As he reaches the top he takes a deep breath and drags his thumbs across his throat signaling for the Prelude, and then holds an I am JESUS pose.
Harvey: Why is he wasting time?
Lively then leaps off connecting with his Prelude. The JESUS yells in agony as he lands on the pile and rolls over holding his hip as the timer counts down. People on their feet looking at the timer on the tron then back at Lively. He rolls over and out of no whwere Crazy Joe climbs up the mess.
Chase: He must have escaped the pile before Lively's impact.
Harvey: Nice...
Joe quickly drags Lively to his feet and nails the Crazy DDT on the ladders, rolls him over as the fans explode with excitement as he pins Lively.

Harvey: Welcome back to the Test for The Best Pay Per View, and the rest of the show will hopefully be as exciting as this tournament has been.
Chase: Exciting? Damn right it better be exciting...APW pays big bills for these events.
Harvey: That we do, Chase...that we do. And I wonder what other surprises that are planned for...wait...apparently we have some kind of commotion backstage. I wonder if we can get a camera back there.
The scene changes from the announcer's table to the back stage area where three to four security guards are layed out on the floor, they are groaning, and look to be out of it. Cindy Shannon walks up and looks down at them in confusion, she begins helping them up as they go back to ring side.
Harvey: Well that was odd...
Chase: Jesus, somebody needs to get us some better security guards. These guys get knocked out and stomped on by angry talent or riff-raff all the time. Hopefully they catch who did it.
Harvey: I hope they are alright.
Chase: Of course they will...they should be used to getting their ass kicked by now.
Just as Harvey is about to comment the lights in the stadium go out and the action-tron bursts to life, smoke begins to rise from the bottom of the entrance ramp, and lights of multiple color begin going off behind the smoke giving it an eary appearance.
The fans begin to go nuts as "Now or Never" by Dope hits the PA and the video begins to play, the lights come on and a man in a hooded white and blue vest with the emblem from the video on its back stands facing away from the crowd and toward the screen. For a moment nothing happens, but then the man turns, and pulls back his hood as he does so.
Chase: Holy CRAP!
Harvey: Is that Pence's son! Matt Weatherlight on APW! The Reaper is back!
Matt uses both his hands and brings them up allowing his thumb and index finger on both hands to form a 'W'. The fans are vigorously chanting "Reaper" as Matt makes his way down to the ring slapping hands and nodding his head to the music.
Chase: Just great...we just got rid of the other one and now we have to deal with another one of these self-righteous jerks!
Harvey: Put a cork in it, Chase. I want to hear what Matt has to say...
Matt slides into the ring once he has made it there and quickly gets to his feet, beginning to pace as his father used to do when he was in the center of the ring. Matt looks around the arena for a second and then gives them the patented Weatherlight smile before picking up a microphone that was slid in the arena for him by a guy from the outside.
Matt: Well hello there...ladies and gentlemen.
The fans let out even more cheers as Matt utters the 'ladies and gentlemen' a trade mark of his father and now being used by the younger Reaper. Matt nods his head then continues.
Matt: I assume you have questions and I can assure you they will be answered once things are all hooked up with my contract by Jeff himself, but right now there are bigger things than my debut going on....like the Test for the Best Pay Per View event you guys payed good money for. Thanks by the way...I'm pretty sure no one in the back is going to say thank you for doing the right thing and buying a ticket so I decided to be the first and also thank you...thank you for the great standing ovation you guys gave me. But back on subject...the Test for the Best tournament marks one of the greatest competitions that this world has ever known, world wide people right now are watching this show, glued to their seats, and they are wanting more. And you know what folks...I'm gonna give them more. It is why I chose tonight of all nights to give the APW fans and those who are tuning in the opportunity to see the Reaper reborn in the flesh!
Because on this stage folks, it is take all or lose all. This tournament takes the best of the best, the cream of the crop, the stallion in the stable...I think you get the point...and puts them against more of their group. The elite. The greatest fighters in the organization are right here and are fighting tonight to bring you a level of entertainment that you soon won't forget. Tonight there will be one ultimate winner and this winner will walk out with a prize that is worth more than gold...tonight, ladies and gentlemen....a new number one contender for the APW World Heavyweight Championship will be determined. Sadly, I was not able to attend due to my sign and trade deal not being completed until just a few days ago, but I'm here none the less...and it is exciting to stand here on this stage...and speak to the masses like my father did before me. The man who shed his tears, bled his blood, and gave his soul to see this company progress beyond just being "Level One's Show" into a whole new dimension. Ladies and gentlemen...I hope to do what my father did...I hope to take this company farther than it has ever gone before. It is why tonight is so special. It is why each and every one of you are so blessed to sit in this arena or so blessed to be at home watching this right now from your television or on the Internet. Because tonight marks the beginning of a grand adventure. An adventure into the future of sports entertainment.
And I am more than happy to be a part of this future. More than happy to be your guide on this wild journey into the unknown and into future. Also I wouldn't mind winning a championship or two...
The fans let out a bit of laughter, but most remained silent, seeing exactly what Matt was seeing. Matt continues on.
Matt: I know I'm not my father and I know he would love to be here in front of everyone and he would love to give this speech himself as he planned too, but he can't. His injuries have grown more severe since Biggs forced him into that title match...he won't say it to you all, he won't show you his scars, or his bruises, but that is the man my father is. He is a hero...he is a champion...and he will never be forgotten. It is why I have taken his mantle...I am not Mr. Main Event...I will never fill that role, but as the Reaper...I can do him justice and let me tell you justice will be served to Biggs for what he has done to my father. I hope you will cheer for me as you cheered for my father...and I hope he will have your continued support as he goes into surgery to relieve the stress on his arm. So until Overdrive...I bid you farewell and plead for you to just wait a little bit longer because...I think the future I foresee is worth waiting for.
Matt give the fans a wink and they begin to chant "Weatherlight" as Matt makes his way out of the ring "Now or Never" by Dope playing in the background as he disappears backstage and from view.

“Eye of the Tiger” is playing over the speakers as the camera focuses on Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase at the announce table. Harvey: Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's been a wild pay per view so far, but now we've come to the finals of the Test for the Best Tournament!Chase: Sally Talfourd and Criss Cassidy have fought tooth and nail in order to reach this point, and at the end of the following match, one of them will have a guaranteed shot that the APW Heavyweight Championship at our annual Shockwave pay-per-view on Sunday, August 24th!The crowd is buzzing with anticipation for the coming match. Harvey: Sally Talfourd has fought hard to get to the finals of this tournament, defeating Biggs and John Green to get here!Chase: While her win over Biggs was questionable, there's no doubting that it's darn impressive to beat both Biggs and John Green in one night!Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, waving to the crowd as she is announced. When that's done, she dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top ring and bounces to the center of the ring. Poses for the crowd as the lights return to normal and the music fades out. The crowd still cheers for the adorable Sally as she starts to stretch for the match. A large diamond chain with a holy cross pendant hangs from his neck as Cassidy walks up the steps and slides into the ring Harvey: I think Cassidy surprised a lot of people with the performance he's put on here tonight! He earned victories over “The Showstopper” Shaun Kilgore and Leila Farrahi to reach the finals!Chase: He sure did surprise everyone! Everyone that is, except himself! Cassidy's confidence in his abilities carried him this far, and if he can keep it up, he will headline Shockwave!Harvey: Well folks, it's time for the official introductions. Let's send it to Tony Ferrari in the ring.Tony Ferrari is standing in the middle of the ring with the mic in hand, while Criss Cassidy and Sally Talfourd stand in opposite corners. Ferrari: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is the finals in the Test for the Best Tournament! The winner of this match up will go on to face the APW Heavyweight Champion at Shockwave! The fans pop with the announcement. Tony continues. Ferrari: Now the competitors. First, in the corner to my right, he weighs in at 205 pounds, and hails from Brooklyn, New York! He is the master of the Crucifixion and The Nightmare, he is “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy!Cassidy puts his hands together almost as if he's praying as the fans boo him. He heeds no attention to them. Ferrari: And his opponent, she weighs in at 140 pounds, and hails from Seattle, Washington! She is the master of the C.O.T.S. and The Makeover, “The Last Magician” Sally Talfourd! The crowd cheers loudly as Sally waves to them. Ferrari begins to exit the ring as the ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Test for the Best: Finals “The Second Coming” Criss Cassidy vs. Sally Talfourd
The two competitors immediately tie up in the middle of the ring, and Cassidy gets the advantage by giving Sally a hard knee to the midsection, following it by lifting her up into a vertical suplex position before driving her down into the mat with a lightning quick Brainbuster! He wastes no time going for a cover 1 . . Sally gets her shoulder up! Cassidy proceeds to mount Sally, and begins to deliver a series of punches to the side of her face with rapid fire precision and gets in a few solid blows before Sally gets her hands up to defend herself! Cassidy then grabs a hold of Sally's arm, and applies a vicious Crucifix Armbar! To add insult to injury, he kicks into Sally's shoulder and side with the heels of his feet as he torques the arm! Cassidy has the hold in deep, but Sally is showing no signs of giving up, not this early in the match, so he lets go, and gets to his feet, giving her stomp after stomp after stomp! Cassidy is giving Sally no chance to recover as he reaches down and pulls her back up to her feet, whipping her into the ropes and nailing her with a Spinning Heel Kick on the rebound! As Sally's on the mat, he runs to the ropes and jumps up in the air, landing on Sally with a Corkscrew Body Splash!
Chase: Look at that move from Cassidy! That's normally the motion he does to perform the Corkscrew Body Press to a standing opponent, but he adapted it to work as a Splash instead!
Harvey: That's quick thinking by Cassidy there, that's for sure.
Cassidy forgoes going for a pin, realizing that it's far too early, looking to inflict more punishment instead. He gets back up to his feet, grabbing Sally's head to pull her back up as well. Sally counters with a Jawbreaker, bringing the crowd to life! The fans are firmly behind Sally as she follows up the counter with a couple of well placed stomps to the sternum before following up a Jumping Knee Drop that catches Cassidy in the throat! Sally goes for a pin 1 . . . Kick out! Sally stays on the attack, this time mounting Cassidy and giving him a bunch of Repeated Forearms to the Face! He tries to get his hands up to defend himself, but that just allows Sally to drive his own hands into his face with her Forearm Shots! Cassidy realizes that he's doing himself more harm than good, and instead grabs a hold of Sally's arm as tries to pummel him! Sally responds by giving him a Headbutt right in between the eyes! This dazes Cassidy a bit, and Sally gives him a few more Forearm Shots before getting up to her feet and appealing to the fans!
Harvey: One thing that I appreciate about Sally is that she really, truly appreciates her fans, taking the time to acknowledge them even in the heat of battle!
Sally is smart enough to not turn her back on Cassidy, and notices when he's starting to make it back up to his feet. She runs in and jumps up, catching him with a Jumping Forearm Shot! As Cassidy gets back up, he's greeted with another Jumping Forearm, and on his second time up, Sally catches him with a Flying Headscissors, taking him back down to the mat! The fans are going wild for Sally at this point, chanting “LET'S GO SALLY! LET'S GO SALLY!” Sally motions for her opponent to get back up, but when he doesn't, she goes in to pull him up by the head. Sally maintains control of the head as she gets Cassidy back up to his feet, and she begins to drag him towards the corner, climbing up to the second rope while still holding his head! Sally jumps off the ropes, going for a Tornado DDT, but Cassidy shoves her off, sending Sally chest first into the mat! Cassidy looks to capitalize on winding her, and rolls Sally over onto her back, pinning her 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally gets the shoulder up!
Chase: That's smart wrestling by Cassidy. He's taking advantage of every opportunity to try and win this match! He realizes that both him and Sally have fought two matches already tonight, and circumstances that might normally not end a match may actually get him the win tonight!
Harvey: There's no doubt in my mind that both of these competitors are tired by this point in the evening!
Cassidy pulls Sally up by the head, and pulls a standing switch, getting behind her to deliver a series of Triple German Suplexes! He keeps his hands hooked together after the third Suplex, and pulls Sally back up, giving her another German Suplex, this time bridging it into another pinfall attempt 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally kicks out! Cassidy maintains focus, getting to his feet, and motioning for Sally to get up. He gets behind her as she does, and gives her a few clubbing blows to the back before giving her another series of Triple German Suplexes! Again, he keeps his hands locked after the third, or sixth, suplex, pulling her back up to her feet, and then getting to her side to deliver a Russian Leg Sweep! Cassidy gets back up to a vertical base and heads over to the corner, climbing the ropes until he reaches the top turnbuckle! He motions for The Nightmare, and leaps off, trying to put Sally away! Right at the last second, Sally rolls out of the way, sending him hard into the mat!
Harvey: Cassidy may have gone for his finisher a little too early there!
Chase: Can you blame him, though? Not only did he string together an impressive series of moves before going for The Nightmare, but this is the third match he's wrestled tonight! He wants to end this one as soon as possible!
Harvey: As would Sally Talfourd, I'm sure.
As Cassidy holds his chest and gut in pain, Sally grabs a hold of his arms, placing her foot in between his shoulder blades and pulling back! She then moves her foot to the back of his head, and drives it into the mat with a brutal Curb Stomp! She then rolls him over onto his back, and jumps up, pulling off a Standing Shooting Star Press! The crowd can't believe the move they just saw from Sally, and are on their feet, going wild! Sally has Criss Cassidy pinned 1 . . . . 2 . . . . He rolls his shoulder up! Sally gives him a few more Forearm Shots, and goes for another cover 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . Cassidy powers his way out, tossing Sally off of him! Both are to their feet at roughly the same time, and they rush towards each other, taking each other out with simultaneous Running Clotheslines! As both Cassidy and Sally lay on the mat, the ref starts the mandatory ten count!
“1!'
“2!”
Harvey: No doubt that these two are utterly exhausted by this point of the tournament, but I got a feeling that it's going to take more than a double clothesline for this match to end!
Chase: The count is a mere formality! At least it better be!
“3!”
“4!”
Sally and Cassidy are starting to stir, and begin to make their way back up.
“5!”
“6!”
Cassidy is up to his feet first, and rushes in towards Sally, catching her with a Swinging Neck Breaker! He then pulls her back up, and brings her in for Fisherman's Suplex, bridging his back again to go for another pin 1 . . . 2 . . . Sally kicks out again! Cassidy brings Sally back up to a vertical base, and shoots her towards the corner! He follows, and goes for a Stinger Splash, but Sally dodges, sending Cassidy crashing chest first into the turnbuckle! As he stumbles out of the corner, Sally grabs a hold of his arm and places her foot into his cheek, falling backwards to deliver the Inverted Stomp Facebreaker! With Cassidy on his back, she dashes to the ropes, and springs off, going for the Happy Ending, and connects! She covers Cassidy, hooking both legs! The crowd counts along with the ref, 1 . . . 2 . . . Cassidy gets the shoulder up!
Harvey: Another pinfall attempt, and another near fall! Both Criss Cassidy and Sally Talfourd have been trying to finish this match at every opportunity, but have been unable to do so thus far!
Chase: Cassidy and Talfourd each want to earn the right to be called the Best, and both certainly want that APW World Heavyweight Title shot! No matter how tired they may be, neither one is going to give up on this match!
“SALLY! SALLY! SALLY!” the fans chant as Sally stays on the attack, making her way up to the top rope! She motions for Cassidy to get up, and as he does so, she leaps off, nailing him right in the chest with a hard Missile Dropkick, sending him flying backwards into the mat! With him down again, Sally goes for the Happy Ending once more, but this time Cassidy rolls out of the way! Sally lands on her feet, but the slight hesitation as she lands gives Cassidy the opportunity to pop to his feet and nail her with a Pele Kick! He pulls her up to her feet, and gets behind her again, delivering yet another series of Triple German Suplexes! With Sally dazed by the move, he pulls her up by the head, and lifts her into a Crucifix position, looking to deliver his version of the Crucifix Powerbomb, The Crucifixion! As he pulls Sally over to deliver the move, she counters by wrapping her legs around his head and catches him with a Hurricarana, rolling through to pin him to the mat! The ref counts 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Cassidy adjusts his weight and rolls through, pinning Sally, 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally counters, rolling Cassidy back into a pinning predicament 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Cassidy rolls through again, getting Sally pinned to the mat once more 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally kicks both of her heels into Cassidy's head, breaking the pinfall attempt! The crowd is in a frenzy now, fired up by the series of near falls they just witnessed!
Harvey: That sequence of reversals and counters right there exemplifies the back and forth nature of this match so far! While Criss and Sally have each had moments where they've been in control of the match, neither one has really had enough sustained momentum to put this one away!
Both competitors are to their feet at nearly the same time, and Sally goes in to whip Cassidy to the ropes! He ducks the attempted Big Boot from Sally on the rebound, and “The Second Coming” jumps up and leaps off the ropes to catch Sally with a Springboard Moonsault Bodypress! He has her shoulders to the mat 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally gets the shoulder up! Cassidy slams his fist into the mat with frustration, but tries to press his advantage, pulling Sally up, and dragging her by the head to the corner! He bounces her head off the turnbuckle a couple of times, drawing loud boos from the crowd, before turning her around and shoving her back first hard into the corner! He takes a few steps back, and this time nails the Stinger Splash! As she's dazed in the corner, Cassidy gives her a Snapmare Takedown out of the corner, and goes for another pin 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Sally keeps her hopes alive by kicking out!
Harvey: Sally has taken a real beating in this match, but won't give up!
Chase: Cassidy is probably wondering what the heck does he have to do to put her away by now!
Cassidy has an extremely focused look on his face as he gets back to his feet, and waits for Sally to get to hers. He's stalking her as she slowly gets to her feet. Once Sally is to a vertical base, Cassidy goes for a Roundhouse Kick, but “The Last Magician” ducks under it, and catches him with a Lovelace Choker! Sally then sits Cassidy up, and gives him a couple of hard knees to the back before hitting with a Short Dropkick to the back of the head! She goes for the pin 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Kick out by Cassidy! At this point, Sally wraps her legs around the head of Cassidy, locking in the Headscissors, trying, crushing his head between her thighs!
Chase: Cassidy is simultaneously a very lucky and very unlucky man!
Cassidy struggles to get out, but doesn't have a chance, as Sally has the move on extremely tight! As he struggles, his flailings get less and less animated, and as he goes limp, Sally releases the hold and goes for a pin 1 . . . . 2 . . . . Cassidy gets the shoulder up! Sally gets back up, pulling Cassidy up as well, and whips him towards the ropes! As he hits the ropes, he wraps his arms around the top rope, halting his movement! Sally comes rushing in to try and clothesline him over the ropes, but he pulls down on the rope, lowbridging her and causing Sally to spill out to the floor! Cassidy waits a moment for her to start making her way back up, and as she does so, he takes a few steps back and then runs towards the ropes, jumping up and clearing the ropes, spinning around in midair to nail Sally with a Corkscrew Body Press Plancha! The fans gasp in amazement at the move, and get a “Holy Sh**! Holy Sh**!” chant going as both competitors are laid out on the arena floor! The ref starts the ten count!
Harvey: What a maneuver by Cassidy there! The fans can't help but be impressed by a move like that, despite their feelings towards Cassidy!
Chase: Well lets face it, Cassidy's message isn't a popular one. He doesn't endear himself to those who don't believe in God, yet also alienates himself from those that do with his extreme views about his role for God! Still, he's damn good in the ring!
Harvey: I won't argue against that!
“1!”
“2!”
“3!”
“4!”
Cassidy is showing signs of life, pushing himself up with his arms as Sally remains on the floor mat, out like a light!
“5!”
“6!”
Cassidy is up by now, and rolls into the ring! The ref continues the count as Sally is still down!
“7!”
The fans rally behind Sally, chanting her name loudly, trying to will her on as she begins to crawl towards the apron, getting a hand on it.
“8!”
She uses the apron to drag herself up. Cassidy is looking to the heavens in the ring, seemingly praising God for his eminent victory!
Chase: The ref is already to eight, and Sally isn't to her feet yet! I don't think she's going to make it! Criss Cassidy has this one!
“9!”
Sally manages to pull herself all the way up and slide in beneath the ropes right at the last possible moment! The crowd pops wildly, and Cassidy can't believe what just happened!
Harvey: Cassidy thought he had it won there, as did a lot of us! Still, Sally Talfourd won't die!
Cassidy is enraged by the fact that Sally made it back in the ring, and is on her immediately, grabbing a hold of the top rope and stomping a freakin' mudhole in her! The ref comes in and tries to separate Cassidy from Sally, but he keeps a firm hold on the top rope, and is stomping her rapidness and force! After about two dozen stomps, Cassidy pulls Sally up and drags her to the middle of the ring, lifting her up for another Crucifixion, this time hitting it!
Chase: Thank you for coming, Sally Talfourd, but this one is now over!
The fans sit in a stunned silence as Cassidy has her shoulders on the mat 1 . . . 2 . . . Sally somehow wills her way into kicking out, drawing loud cheers from the crowd! Cassidy pleads with the ref that it was a three count before grabbing a hold of Sally's head and pulling her up to her feet. He whips her into the corner again, and once more, goes for a Stinger Splash! Sally sees it coming, and gets out of the way, grabbing Cassidy in for The Makeover as he stumbles out of the corner! The fans pop at the move!
Harvey: That move came from out of nowhere, and helped Sally to win many a match!
She covers Cassidy 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Cassidy kicks out! The fans can't believe it, and neither can Sally! She sits there for a moment, looking dejected, thinking about her next move. Before she can respond, Cassidy quickly rolls out of the ring to recover!
Chase: Very smart by Cassidy here to roll out of the ring to regroup! By this point, him and Sally Talfourd have not only had a grueling match right now, but the effects of their earlier matches are no doubt wearing on them as well!
Harvey: Whoever wins this match will truly earn the title of the Best! This has been one heck of a match! In fact, it's been one heck of a tournament!
Cassidy keeps both eyes centered on Sally in the ring as he recovers on the outside. Sally motions for him to come back in, and the ref is counting.
“1!”
“2!”
Cassidy shows no signs of wanting to come back into the ring, and by this point, Sally's not willing to wait for him. She runs to the opposite ropes, gaining momentum, and slingshotting herself over the ropes! Cassidy sees her coming and dodges out of the way, but Sally keeps a hold of the top rope, landing on the apron! As Cassidy turns around, Sally jumps up and springs off the middle ropes, twisting her body in midair to hit with a Springboard Cross Body! The fans are going wild at this point, and Sally rolls her opponent back into the ring! She pulls him up and whips him towards the ropes, but Cassidy reverses it, sending Sally into the ropes instead! He goes for a Spinning Heel Kick on the rebound, but misses! Sally puts on the breaks, and as Cassidy gets to his feet, she wraps the Headscissors around his head and locks in an Armbar to apply the Chip on the Shoulder, or COTS for short! A frenzied, panicked look comes across the face of Cassidy as Sally has the move in extremely deep! The fans are chanting “TAP OUT! TAP OUT! TAP OUT!” hoping that Cassidy will submit! Cassidy fights through the pain, dragging Sally and himself towards the ropes! It's very slow going, though, and after about a minute in the move, Cassidy is a mere fingertip from the ropes! Sally pulls back as hard as she can, but it's for naught, as Cassidy gets his hand on the ropes! Sally immediately lets go!
Harvey: What a vicious, painful submission hold that is, but Cassidy showed real guts by fighting through it to get to the ropes! But his shoulder and arm has got to be shot by this point!
Chase: It's going to affect his ability to pull off the Crucifixion, that's for sure!
Sally follows the ref's instructions to give Cassidy some room while he has a hand on the ropes, and she does, taking a few steps back. Once Cassidy lets go, Sally is back in there, giving him a few more Forearm Shots to the face before whipping him towards the corner! She nails him with a Running Elbow Smash to the face, and then grabs a hold of his head, climbing up the turnbuckle and leaping off to hit with a Tornado DDT! Sally's on a roll, and pulls him back up, getting him in position for the Makeover again, but before she can deliver it, Cassidy elbows his way out, nailing her in the head multiple times! As Sally is still a bit loopy, he hits with a Side Russian Leg Sweep, and makes his way to the top rope once more, looking to go for The Nightmare! Before he can jump off, though, Sally pops up and jumps up, landing on the top rope, trying to hook Cassidy for a Superplex! However, Cassidy shoves her off the top rope, sending her crashing into the mat! He leaps off, and hits The Nightmare, much to the dismay of the crowd! The ref counts the pinfall 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . Sally kicks out one more time!
Harvey: Can you believe it!? Sally kicked out again!
Chase: Cassidy needs to stay focused, and keep up the pressure!
Cassidy does indeed stay focused, lifting Sally up into a Crucifix position once more! However, his arm gives out on him, and he's forced to drop Sally down to her feet. She turns him around, jumping up to lock in the headscissors, and grabbing the arm to apply another COTS in the center of the ring! Cassidy struggles mightily to get out, but eventually has no choice but to tap out! DING! DING! DING!
Your 2010 Test for the Best Winner: Sally Talfourd Ferrari: Here is your winner, by submission, and the 2010 Test for the Best winner, Sally Talfourd! The crowd goes wild as “Starstrukk” begins to play and Sally gets her arm raised by the ref! Cassidy holds his arm in pain as he rolls out of the ring and makes his way to the back. Tears are forming in Sally's eyes as she realizes what she's just accomplished! Harvey: Ladies and gentlemen, history has just been made here tonight! Sally Talfourd is the first woman to win the Test for the Best tournament! She defeated three men here tonight, and truly earned the title of The Best!Chase: But we shouldn't take anything away from Criss Cassidy either here tonight! He put up a tremendous fight here in the finals, and I firmly believe that tonight was a star making night for that man! He surprised a lot of people here tonight, and definitely has a very bright future here in APW!Harvey: I have to agree! But the story here and now is that Sally Talfourd has earned herself a shot at the APW Heavyweight Championship thanks to her efforts in winning the grueling tournament! She beat two long time APW veterans and a very game newcomer to earn the victory tonight! I think we could even go on to say that this was the best Test for the Best tournament in the history of APW!The music continues to play as Sally exits the ring and celebrates with the fans in the front row as we go to a commerical for Shockwave!

Karen stood outside Bryan’s locker room frowning pensively. She looked down to check her watch but was rudely interrupted by seeing only the white of the cast that had been molded to her right hand from where she had broken her hand on Temptation Knox’s jaw several days ago now. Sighing delicately she lowered the hand and raised the other checking her watch and looking at the still unopened door.
Tech: Ms Foster?
Karen: Hmmm?
Karen looked up to see a middle-aged tech standing with a clipboard and a pair of headphones that seemed to be turned up so loud you could almost hear every word that was said from several feet away.
Tech: Five minutes.
Karen: Right.
Tech: Is he ready?
Karen: Sure.
Tech: Make sure he’s not late.
Karen: I said he was ready damnit!
The tech raised his hands, clip board in one and took a couple steps back.
Tech: Hey, I’m just doing my job.
As if that was a cue the door to the locker room opened suddenly and Bryan stepped through, the APW Title slung over one shoulder as he arched an eyebrow at the sight of the Tech ‘reaching for the sky’ before the slightly angry Karen.
Bryan: Nice Karen… is this turning into a habit?
Karen: What?...
Bryan: Aggravated assault…
Karen frowned at Bryan and held up her cast for a moment and then made a ‘hurmph!’ noise and turned to watch the Tech retreat back into the throng of people moving backstage.
Karen: That’s not very funny Bryan.
Bryan: Not in a very funny mood.
The two start to move towards the backstage area from where Bryan will make his entrance.
Karen: Are you ready?
Bryan: Doesn’t matter if I am or not, it’s time.
Karen: Tim’s going to be fine you know…
Bryan grew quiet for a moment and then nodded, a stern look of focus forming across his features.
Bryan: Yeah… go wait at the hospital Karen..
Karen: B-but…
Bryan: Go.. you know as well as I do that that’s where both of us are ending tonight.
Karen swallowed a lump in her throat and then retreated quickly down the hallway leaving Bryan alone as the swell of the crowd grew to a roar as the match drew ever closer…

Harvey: Wow, what a Test for the Best Tournament that was! I know one thing, the winner of THIS match is going to have their hands full with them.Tony: The following contest is your Main event of the evening, is scheduled for One Fall… it is a No Disqualification Match!Chase: Maybe, but right now I couldn’t care less about that, not when we have two men who really don’t like each other about to fight over the Heavyweight Title… right here in the Main Event!Harvey: Bryan Payne versus Level One… wow. The first match these two had blew the roof up at Mayhem becoming an instant classic with both men totally spent at the end of the match having to be assisted to the locker room area due to pure exhaustion. Now… we get the second helping of these two one on one and the stakes are even better..Chase: That’s right, this time it’s No Disqualification for the APW Heavyweight Title!Put You On Game- By Lupe Fiasco blasts the PA system, as Level-One steps up on-top of the ramp. Red smoke swirls beneath him, and a string of red and blue pyro shoots up into the air he raises both of his hands high in the air. Tony: From Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 262 pounds, Level-One!!!Level-One slowly begins to walk down the ramp, being booed loudly by the crowd. Level-One stops before eyeing down a fan, mocking the fan in the process. Level-One turns, and climbs up onto the apron. He climbs up turn-buckle, hoisting his fist high in the air. Level-One hops down, and awaits for the fight in-front of him. Harvey: There he is, Level One, and the fans are showing their disapproval of his brutal… unprovoked assault on Tim Payne.Chase: Oh come on… unprovoked? Payne has been needling at Level One since he stepped foot into APW…Harvey: He put a seventeen year old kid in a critical care unit Chase.tony: And his opponent… From Toyko Japan… The current APW Heavyweight Champion… BRYAN PAYNE!“The Enemy” blares out over the sound system and Bryan Payne appears at the top of the entrance ramp the APW Heavyweight Title held over his head as the crowd leaps to his feet screaming wildly. Bryan takes two steps forward nodding his head slowly as he holds it out like someone baiting a cat with a string as he looks up at Level One mouthing something that is lost by the thunderous noise now swelling through the arena as he makes his way towards the ring. He climbs up onto the ring apron and looks over to Level One before ducking underneath the top rope and raising the title tauntingly in front of himself again in One’s direction before handing it off to the ref and backing up into his corner. Chase: It looks like the Champ is making the mistake of getting Level One pissed off again… you’d think his brother would have been a lesson about how not wise that was…*DING DING* APW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE NO DQ MATCH Bryan Payne (C) Vs Level One
Harvey: And there we go and there they go.. Payne and One leaping at each other, they can’t wait to get their hands on each other.
Chase: Wow, they are going at it hammering at each other with powerful fists lefts and rights!
The two men continued to fire punches into each other and for a moment it appears as though like in the first contest One was going to physically dominate the exchange, when suddenly with a roar Payne leapt off his feet hitting One in the chest and carrying him down to the mat where he began raining a flurry of punches down on One. The ref looked momentarily like he was going to step in and then backed off as the no DQ was still in effect.
Harvey: And that is what a stomach full of rage can do for you…
The situation went on like that for several more minutes before One was able to get his arms in the right position to shift Payne to the side and roll free. He came up one knee for a moment and shook his head, wiping away the trickle of blood that appeared coming from a busted lip. One braced himself then rising up as Payne charged jumping up and forward at the right instant. He lifted Payne into the air and brought him over and around into a scoop slam that shook the ring.
Chase: Nice counter by Level One! That’s also what rage can do for you… make you stupid!
Payne sprawled, a gasping expression crossing his features as he struggled to regain his breath as he larger One spun around shifting his hold on the Champ as he hauled him back to his feet. Locking his arm around Bryan’s head, he braced himself, shifting his arm to protect his ribs as Bryan lashed out several times, trying to break the hold, and then lifted Payne straight up into the air doing a half turn until he could bounce Bryan’s lower body off the top rope and slingshot him back up into the air into a suplex sending him crashing back down to the mat again.
Harvey: Slingshot Suplex from Level One! He is delivering a bruising display of power early in this match up trying to take away the speed and athletic ability of the Champion.
Chase: That’s smart. Payne is not a guy you want to let set the pace of a match… even Level One will admit that. So he’s taking over early to prevent that from happening.
One stands up then and motions around his waist, where he anticipates the title being shortly, and waves his hand dismissively towards the audience that is booing him and gestures back to Bryan kicking his boot into his side as he struggles to get up flipping him back over onto his back. He takes a couple steps of a run and then crashes down onto Payne with a simple leg drop. One kneels next to Bryan’s head and locks his arm around his head leaning over against him with his weight as he locks the headlock in.
Harvey: Still wise, keeping the pace slow. He’s using his size and weight to wear down the Champ.
Payne can be seen trying to struggle back up, but the leverage One is able to apply is just too much and he quickly goes back down flat on the mat resulting in some taunting by Level One that results in a soft round of clapping breaking out slowly across the crowd. One looks from side to side as the clap builds rhythm and then his gaze is drawn down where Bryan seems to be gaining momentum from the crowd support and yells at the front row to stop, which only makes the chants and clapping intensify. Arms shaking with effort, muscles bulging as he pushes up off the mat forcing One up to his knees, and then a cheer erupts as he leans back driving an elbow into One’s ribs making him jerk, but not quite breaking the hold.
Harvey: And Bryan Payne has battled back to his knees… he’s fighting back!
Another vicious elbow slams into Level One who cries out but squeezes harder with his arm trying to regain control of the situation. Another elbow.
Chase: A third brutal shot from Payne, but still One is holding on tight!
A fourth, fifth, and sixth shot hammers into One’s side and finally he has no choice but to break the hold falling backwards a bit clutching his ribs. The crowd erupts in a fresh batch of cheers as Bryan crawls forward a few feet coughing and shaking his head in an attempt to clear it. Meanwhile One leaves one hand clutching his side and lumbers forward reaching down with his other hand to grab the back of Payne’s head lifting him up back to his feet. Bryan’s arms then pinwheel up and out breaking One’s single arm grip and then his knee rises up savagely into One’s gut doubling him over, and then takes a run to the ropes spring boarding off the second rope landing on his knees in the center of One’s back driving the larger man face and chest first into the canvas.
Harvey: Woah! Now that was some agility!
Chase: And even more punishment to One’s ribs…
Payne leans down gasping for air still himself as he winds his arms around One’s head, and wraps his legs around his torso locking his ankles as he squeezes with arms and legs together and rolling to his side arching One’s back to put even more pressure on his ribs drawing a strangled gasp from One as he slaps at the arms that, far from the sleeper hold this move is normally used as, a full out choke has been applied the pressure directly on One’s windpipe!
Chase: Payne is trying to crush One’s throat!
Harvey: I—Wha- What the hell is going on here he can’t do that!
Chase: No DQ, means no DQ.
One gasps rolling over onto his stomach, his efforts hampered by his hands reflexively going up to the arms wound around his neck trying to pull them free to relieve the pressure to no avail. His face has gone beat red as he scrambles desperately finding the rope and his hand grips it… the ref does nothing.
Harvey: One has the rope… but that’s not going to help him in this match!
One’s eyes have started to roll back and strangled gagging noises are being made from the back of his throat, but his hands pull his body up bit by bit with the ropes until he is able to throw his body back deadweight crashing down ontop of Bryan. The hold is broken suddenly as the air is again driven from Bryan’s lungs as he rolls free of One who is clutching his throat with a slightly pole axes expression on his face as he reaches out towards the ref as though he’d rather beat up the ref than Bryan at the moment.
Chase: One seems to be complaining to the ref about the treatment he just received… but… like it or not these are the rules this match is being fought under…
Still rubbing around his neck One lumbers up, walking over to Bryan and stomps in the center of his back driving him down to the canvas. He follows it up with a second shot, and then lifts Bryan up, tucking his head again under one arm and then falls back sharply with a DDT. The impact sends Payne flopping over limply not moving for the present time, seemingly knocked cold by the maneuver. One looks over at the sprawled out Payne and moves as though he’s going to make a cover and then rubs his throat again and stands back up marching over towards the nearest corner and begins untying the turnbuckle pad to expose the metal underneath.
A chorus of boos rain down from the crowd as One tosses the pad aside and yells back to the crowd motioning to his throat as though trying to suggest he hadn’t started it and then, picks Bryan up dragging him over into the corner and with a fist full of hair drives Payne forehead first into the exposed metal sending a spray of blood sailing out of the ring as a massive gash immediately appears on Bryan’s head. A second time Payne’s head is slammed into the exposed turnbuckle sending another spray, this time most of it is directed into the ring and ends up splashing all over the side of One’s face and he grins a bit as Payne falls to the mat his hands clutching his head where the gash is as the blood quickly stains the canvas beneath him and runs down into his face. Still on his feet One calmly wipes his face holding up his now bloody hands to the audience.
Harvey: The Champ is bleeding like a stuck pig! Good lord… what is wrong with Level One?!
Chase: Well, the no DQ thing does work both ways..
One takes a few steps over to where Payne is laying and looks down watching him for a moment as he wipes his hands on his pants and smirks, watching the champ squirm for a moment before he bends down loading Bryan up onto his shoulders and then falls backwards with him into a Samoan drop and then casually leans back over the top of Bryan’s chest.
1 . . . . . . 2 . . . . . .
Kickout!
Harvey: That was one of the more arrogant covers I’ve ever seen from Level One… he knows better, he might have had this match won and the title around his waist if he’d hooked leg.
Chase: He’s trying to send a message tonight Harvey… and I’d say it’s being received loud and clear.
Bryan crawls a bit, one of his hands never leaving his forehead while One gets back to his feet an irritated look on his face. He watches Payne crawling for a moment and then takes a running start extending a booted foot as though he intents to knock Bryan’s head right off, but at the last moment Payne lays flat his feet hooking around One’s in a toe drop hold catching the big man by surprise. He gives out a yell and starts to fall directly towards the exposed turnbuckle but an instant before he hits both his hands lash out catching hold of the ropes to either side stopping his forward momentum an instant before his head smashes against it. He grins smirking up towards the crowd who were expecting to see him damaged in that way, but the expression suddenly changes to one of pure panic.
Harvey: What is the Champ doing?!
Payne moves with shocking speed jerking One’s legs out from under him and tries unsuccessfully to pull him from his grip. Once, twice, and One laughs swinging back with one hand trying to bat Payne away who ducks under it now suddenly finding himself with One’s legs on his shoulders with the big man still holding onto the ropes. Twisting his body Bryan steps up the ropes to his right hand side jumping into the air, his legs extending out as he falls on top of One’s back in a seated position the force of the impact overwhelming One’s grip which slips as his chin rebounds off the exposed turnbuckle laying it viciously open; the crowd roars in approval.
Chase: Christ…
Both men hit the canvas hard not moving for a few moments as the entire audience seems to have come to roaring life on their feet as they see both men show signs of life, pushing against canvas slick with mingled blood, and hands reaching for ropes…
Harvey: There are just some men who are each other’s perfect storm, and that is what we’re seeing another example of inside the ring tonight, and I for one am glad to be able to say I’m here watching it.
One staggers to his feet first, blood dripping from the gash on the bottom of his chin as directs a look of hatred of Payne as he hauls him to his feet yet again. He jerks him over to the rope and presses his head down shoving his neck against the top rope and shoves down as hard as he can. Bryan chokes coughing as he tries to struggle against the use of the ropes, unable to escape as One looms over the champ using his height and weight to shove him down against the rope. An odd struggle ensues as Payne is suddenly able to, quite unexpectedly escape the hold leaving Level One snarling in frustration and wiping his hands furiously on his pants again as Bryan falls back to the mat.
Chase: What the hell was that?
Harvey: I… I think Level One’s hands slipped on the blood matted in Bryan’s hair and he lost his hold… I can honestly say I’ve never seen THAT particular problem before…
Payne again starts to crawl away, trying to put some distance between himself and One who is soon hot on his heels delivering a kick to the Champs gut that doubles him over and then bends low picking him and then delivering a gut wrench powerbomb. “STAY DOWN!” he yells in Bryan’s bloody face as he goes for another cover.
1 . . . . .
Kickout!
Chase: And again Bryan Payne shows remarkable will and awareness kicking out of another pinning attempt from the challenger.
Harvey: But how long can he keep it up?
One hauls Bryan back to his feet and fires several punches into Bryan that send him staggering backwards and then grabs one of his arms sling shooting him towards one of the corners, but halfway there it seems as though Payne lacks the strength to even stand up and he falls flat on his face several feet short of the turnbuckles themselves. Snarling with frustration again One takes a charge at Bryan only to be caught by surprise as he finds Bryan’s feet suddenly braced against his hip bone and hands gripping his arm as he his monkey flipped with a surprised yell into the corner himself. He thuds off the turnbuckle grabbing at it for purchase.
Bryan fumbles around, trying to get to his feet, his hands feeling moving against the canvas as his eyes drift upwards seeing One gathering himself for another attack. He twitches for a moment, his fingers brushing the discarded string from the removed turnbuckle and close around it as he rises to his feet with suddenly deadly purpose. He rams into Level One from behind forearms ramming into his back doubling him over the turnbuckle that One is now gripping as though his life depended on it under the assault, and then Payne suddenly loops the string around Lester’s neck!
Harvey: Again Payne is doing something unbelievable he is trying to strangle the life out of Level One with a turnbuckle string!
One jerks wildly his fingers trying to slip between his neck and the string to little effect as Payne throws his head back with a scream, blood sprays back from the still open wound but he holds on tight, the string now wrapped around both his hands. Struggling, trying against the thrashing One is doing Payne can be seen tying the ends of the string to the top ring rope itself.
Chase: This match is getting a little out of control. These two guys are turning the ring itself into a deadly weapon!
One continues to thrash about finally landing a heavy shot to Payne’s shoulder that staggers him breaking his hold on the string, but both ends have now been tied security to the top rope. Still unable to breathe One desperate claws at the ties trying to undo them and is again hit from behind this time with a clothsline that takes him right off his feet, flipping up over the top rope where his fall is stopped by that same string that catches him in mind air just the tips of his toes touching the rubber matting below stopping his neck from taking every once of his weight of the fall. The crowd’s gives a startled shocked gasp at how close they came to seeing that and Lester jerks and struggles, a line of blood plainly visible now welling up from where the string is cutting into his skin. With one hand trying to force its fingers between his neck and the rope, the other reaches up jerking with all his might and finally jerks the string free and he flops to the rubber matting outside the ring coughing and hacking the shallow cut around his neck visible to all.
Harvey: Oh my God… Bryan Payne just literally tried to execute Level One right here tonight!
Chase: Lester always said that Bryan Payne was no different from him and I guess we just saw the proof of that!
One, still coughing manages to look upwards, just in time to see Bryan sling shot off the tope rope and come flying into a splash right on top of him both men crashing into the matting after the impact and not moving for a short time afterwards.
Harvey: I’m just at something of a loss for words..
Chase: I don’t really believe that.
Harvey: I mean how many times-
Chase: told you so…
Harvey:… can these guys get into the ring before one of them is literally killed?! Someone has to do something about this!
Despite the recent punishment he’s taken, One is the first to get back up to his feet. One hand still clutches and rubs at his throat, shocked and furious when he sees his own blood from the cut on his neck and stumbles forward running on pure hatred as he hauls Bryan back up onto his feet and slings him into the steel steps. With an impact like a gun shot, Bryan hits it shoulder and back first knocking the top step off its moorings and crumbling over his hands weakly pushing against the steps trying to use it to help himself get up. Lester lets out a roar walking over to where Bryan is laying jerking a sign out of the hands of one of the fans and slams swings it downwards like a hammer shattering the wood holder across Bryan’s back as he tries to get up and then tosses the pieces aside settling for grabbing Payne by the hair again and driving his already bloody face into the steps leaving another scarlet smear behind as he moves to the side to retrieve the fallen top step.
He picks it up over his head as he lumbers back over towards the fallen Champion and then slams it down on top of Bryan. Once… twice… three times before losing his grip on it and stumbling back panting.
Harvey: Jesus! Level One has just crushed Payne like a bug between those steps…. He’s not even moving.. is he even breathing?!
Chase: Well you can’t say One wasn’t provoked to that… he wasn’t even the first guy to try to kill someone here tonight!
One grins as he hauls the limp form of Payne up and acknowledges the boos of the fans with a faint smirk and rolls him back into the ring, soon following by rolling under the bottom rope. He rises up to his knees and rains down several hard fists into Bryan’s already battered head, the knuckles rising up stained with red. He reaches down again startled as Bryan grabs his arm at the wrist his legs reaching up to weave around his head in a figure four head lock. Lester gasps, his free hand going back again trying to protect his neck and breathing his other arm still held fast by Payne as he finds himself pulled off his feet, already put off balance by his struggles.
Harvey: One is in trouble!
Chase: It looked like Payne was finished.. done for and out of nowhere he’s now got Level One back in this Defiance Lock!
One’s hand grabs the rope, which doesn’t help him but allows him to pull himself towards it giving him a hold to get his feet back underneath him and he rolls forward his weight going on top of Bryan who still has the hold locked into place as his shoulders go to the mat.
1 . . . . . . .
Harvey: Level One has turned this submission move into a pin opportunity!
Payne can be seen to struggle for a moment as One moves his feet up to the ropes to give himself more leverage to hold Bryan down, but his free hand seems to hover over the canvas as though he’s seconds from tapping out himself!
2 . . . . . . . . . . . 3!
A fraction of a second after the ref says three Level One’s hand begins wildly beating against the canvas tapping it for all he’s worth.
*DING DING*
Winner and New APW Heavyweight Champion: Level One Tony: The winner of this match via pinfall… and NEW APW Heavyweight Champion… LEVEL ONE!One screams in agony, his feet stuck on the ropes and unable to use them to help free himself as Bryan refused to release the hold, the ref pulling unsuccessfully on his legs trying to free Level One suddenly Bryan lashes out catching the ref in the side of the head with a fist sending him sprawling back to the mat and then grabs One’s arm again and twisting his body around increasing the torque on One’s already injured neck. Lester lets out another scream that rips through the arena as it looks like Bryan is trying to break Level One’s neck by forcing his head to the side against the angle he’s at relative to the ropes. Harvey: My god.. Level One has regained the title… but may be about to lose his career! Chase: The former champion will not let go of his old! He’s knocked out the ref and is trying to break Level One’s neck! Am I in the twilight zone?!Half a dozen security guards surge from the back area towards the ring diving under the bottom rope and converging on Payne, with One still beating the hell out of the canvas with his free hand trying to tap out to a Bryan who is having none of it at all. They pull and tug at him from both directions finally having to literally hit Bryan several times before the six men are able to pull him free of One, who is still yelling and screaming curling up into a ball and clutching his neck. Harvey: The belt has changed hands but… I think Level One has been seriously injured here tonight! Chase: This rivalry between these two men just keeps getting more and more intense Harvey… you know they’re going to meet again, but when? And will either of them survive it?!Harvey: And we are out of time. Thank you everyone for joining us today. We return with Overdrive, Next Thursday.Test for the Best goes off the air.
